Continues to be a great place for pizza. Service fast & food very good. I've eaten here many times and love it. Dependable & affordable.

Craving pizza and didn't want to go to a chain. Mixed reviews on NTPD pizza, but thought we'd give it a try. We were seated right away, server right there for our drink order. They do offer a lunch special $4.99 for two slices and a soda. We were a put hungrier than that though. Ordered a medium Hawaiian with black olives. Didn't take too long. Thin crust, not to heavy on the sauce, generous with the toppings. Quite good. Our favorite part though was talking to the employee who brought his family here from Puerto Rico. What a nice young man. Very friendly, and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our pizza. If your looking for a good New York style pizza. You've found it!

Just okay. The service was good. 2 of 4 garlic knots were cold and none were hot. The pizza was not special. Just an ordinary pizza restaurant.

Thought we'd try again! This time was worse than the first. Poor service, Took 20 minutes to get bill. Pizza was just ok. Salad had wilted and dark lettuce leafs in it. Beer was good! I won't be back for a third time too many other places to go.

I'm from NY and this is the best pizza ever!!! The staff is friendly and helpful. I live in Ocala and come here to visit my Mom and bring her pizza sometimes.

This was a disappointment, New Your Pizza does not like this. The only thing good about this pizza was the timely delivery. The flavor is bland, totally lacking in flavor and no aroma or enticing smell. Would have had a better pizza from Dominos at least they are customer service oriented. The delivery driver did not bring anything other than pizza...although we are staying in a hotel and had it delivered to our room - no hot peppers ??? paper plates, napkins, parmesan cheese, When I asked the driver for hot peppers, he said "you didn't ask for them, it's not on the receipt" uh what? I'm sorry I don't live in the villages and I still have my taste buds. Will not be ordering your pizza ever again, it was a bad idea. Total disappontment, my husband took one bite and said I would rather have a frozen pizza than this. NOT WORTH $20.

We don't make it out here as often as we'd like bc one we try to make healthier choices lol and two it's so far from where we live. However, this place never disappoints. We love their mozzarella sticks and the Manhattan Meat Lovers pizza! It can get crazy busy but it's well worth the wait.

Went back after 1 year to see if food was any better. Sadly it was not. Pizza was like cardboard with skimppy cheese (I am assuming its cheese) and skimmpy sauce.. I had the usual two slice and a drink for 4.99. Helpers were still young teeny boppers with company tshirts at least. I have to give them credit for making them wear company shirts. Last time I was there, shirts were dirty and unprofessional looking. Bathroom was the best thing about this place. Immaculate. 5 star bathroom. I will not be back for a third try. They need to get someone who knows how to make a good NY pizza or they will be out of business. If someone else comes into the hood with genuine NY pizza you can kiss this business goodbye and blame it on the dems.

We had NYPD delivered twice to our home. We loved the taste and thin crust of this pizza. We normally make our own dough and sauce, so we are picky and don't normally like any pizza that we have tried in restaurants. Our only complaint was on the second delivery the pizza was cold. I think in order in help this out, we will have our oven pre-heated so that we can put the pizza in the warm oven to warm it up. The first time it arrived warm but that is to be expected as it was delivered after all.

Stopped by here when we had a hankering for pizza last time we were in The Villages. We had really excellent service from a young man who went out of his way to make sure we had a positive experience. I loved the pizza (just had cheese) and we had zeppole for dessert that I haven't stopped thinking about since! We are returning to The Villages in a couple of weeks and will make sure to return.

Wow, harsh reviews. I'm from the Detroit area, the home of Little Caesars and Domino's, so my take on pizza is different. I'm used to a little softer, thicker crust, so I was not sure what NY pizza was like. I thought it was okay and my dad loved it but he hadn't had pizza in almost a year! We've gone back a couple times, I think more because of convenience than taste but not as bad as these reviews. Give it a try, they must have a dozen or more toppings to choose and the service was good, like I said I don't know how NYC pizza tastes. BTW the interior is really cool!

I took my two sons ages 12 and 14 here after we passed it going shopping and they said they were in the mood for pizza. The pizza was inconsistent. I ordered a slice and soup special, and my slice was very small, not hot and not cheesy. My one son ordered a two slice and soda special, and his pepperoni slices were hot and much bigger, and pretty good. My 14 year old son ordered a calzone, and it was so cheesy that the cheese spilled out of the bottom of the calzone while he was eating it. Literally, all the cheese spilled out the bottom, so I had to scoop it up and restuff it for him. The sauce that accompanied the calzone was very good and made me curious about what the Italian dishes would taste like. I also had the lentil soup on the advice of the staff, and while it was good, it was quite spicy. I happen to like spicy food, but if you don't you won't like it. It also had way too many onions. While it was adequate, it certainly wasn't indicative of NY pizza. I grew up in NJ and lived in NY for 7 years, and this place needs a little work. I'm not sure if I will go back as there are better choices close by.

I'm surprised at the poor reviews. NYPD pizzeria has really good, NY style thin crust pizza. I had the lunch special with 2 sliced and a coke for $4.99- you can't beat that for quality pizza. And the place was packed, so obviously it's a popular place.

We visited NYPD tonight for the first time and it was amazing! The food and service were both great!! The waitresses were amazing with my son, and he even got to make his own pizza! Great place, and we will be back!!!

Ordered boneless wings, garlic knots, and a 14' meat lovers. Garlic knots came out hard and cold, sent them back. They gave us more than ten wings and charged us for 20 wings when that option/price wasn't even listed on the menu. Pizza was alright. Service was poor, took a lot of waiting for drinks, paying, etc. When we got the bill we were surprised to be charged for so many wings. When we asked, the manager came and he argued with us that we had ordered it and that we are more than 10 wings. It wasn't even listed on the menu! Also we asked for ranch with the wings and were served bleu cheese. This wasn't ever corrected after asking. The manager was rude and argued with my parents. Safe to say we will never be returning and we will let people know not to eat there.

Great pies - best White Pizza we have ever had. Coming from NY Philly that says a lot.

Good tasting pizza and good service. Our only complaint was that the pizza wasn't sliced through all the way and it was very hard to separate the pieces because the bottom of the crust was hard. We told the waitress, and she said the day before they were cutting them too hard. I'm not sure what that meant, but she walked off and didn't offer to take it back and have it cut again.

Best margarita pizza in The Villages. Also the best meatballs.

The only good thing about this place is the name. They should be ashamed to use a name like this when the pizza is like cardboard with ketchup smeared on it. I went there with friends from New York and they were shocked at how bad the stuff was.

If you're in the area, eat here. The best casual meal. The decor is awesome. NY scenes, subway signs, just so cool. The place was packed, meaning it's very popular, and now I know why. The food was delicious and true to NY pizza, having been a Manhattanite for years. The bottom of the pie is crispy while the crust is soft but not too chewy or too bready. I was with a large tough crowd - picky kids, 3 grandmas who prefer to eat homemade food and moms & dads who all lived in NY or NJ before. Every one of us loved this meal. The chicken wings were meaty and we loved the hot sauce. The Chicken Noodle and Lentil soups both were homemade and so good. The side house salad and side Caesar salad both were good sized and filling. And the pizza -- great. The meatlovers one was delicious and the consensus favorite. We got a Carnegie Hall one (bacon, chicken, ranch) which was so good and the buffalo chicken pizza was so delicious too (my favorite here & anywhere.) All the chicken on the pizza was so moist and in large chunks. Margarita pizza was fine but we had leftovers because everyone devoured all the other pizzas first. You've got to go with tasty toppings on the perfect crust. The cheesecake was so good. We were all stuffed & very content.
