I have read a few of the negative reviews, and am wondering if these people have gone to the same restaurant that I go to. My wife and I eat here almost every day, the food is fresh and tasty, and the service is great.

I had veggie omelette and coffee. Both are very fresh. The vegetables in the omelette can tell are fresh. Why 1 star then? We shared the omelette and wasn't told there will be a $3 plate sharing fee upfront. I don't mind paying but I think I should be informed upfront. Also the coffee was $2 each and nobody refill our cups.

After seeing great reviews we tried this restaurant for lunch. We both ordered burgers, which came well done, dry and tasteless. Looked very much like the frozen ones you get at the grocery. They didn't have fries so I got the fruit salad which didn't appear to be fresh. My husband got the potato salad which he said was mediocre. We waited for over 5 mins. for our check as our waitress was busy with her phone. Finally, another one gave us our check. This was on a week day and it wasn't busy. Would not return.

Great cheesecake. Opened on Sunday when he is normally closed. No one else had coffee. Coffee was great. Donuts were awesome. And cheesecake was amazing. Over 120 cheesecake Flavors! Fair priced food.

My wife and I were excited to learn of a new breakfast diner in downtown Tavares it is the only one. It just opened a couple of weeks ago and are still finding their way. But in general the food is very good and the wait staff is excellent they have been busier than they expected ( a good thing ) but they occasionally run short on some menu items. We have eaten there 5 or 6 times since the 1st of March We plan on eating there often.

Sorry but the food was mediocre at best. We came in after 3 pm , a slow time. While , at first, we met with a friendly greeting...that was it. As a Christian, I was delighted to see the biblical references etc. but after the initial greeting, I would have to say the service was not the best. The waiter forgot my lemonade...never bothered to return to see if we wanted refills on water. We order full sandwiches which was good since the sandwiches were smaller than what we had been used to at a few other places in Lake CY...The potato salad was runny. We had to call a waitress(I think she may have been a waitress??) to ask for more water. They never checked on us. There were at least 5 staff members in sight and we were the only ones in the restaurant. They still were standing there when we left. We were ignored. No one even said, "Hope to see you. Have a nice day" A lot of scripture but no Christian hospitality at all. WE HAD A LOT OF HOPE FOR THIS PLACE BUT WERE DISAPPOINTED. Remember , we were the only ones there which made it pretty hard to ignore but we were ignored.
