Well, you know me and Chinese American foods... I was hungry and wanted to try some place that I haven't tried before. I called in a delivery and I must say that the portions were huge. I prefer fried rice but got regular. They might have had it if I asked. But the combos I ordered were delishious. Very nice staff and quick delivery. I will be ordering again.

This place is located along a beautiful street in Tarpon Springs. There's lots to do in this street including enjoying some ice cream at Sweeties. It's clean, and the staff was nice. They were closing and still served us with the utmost politeness and attention. Most importantly though, the ice cream was glorious. I had some chocolate moose tracks and loved every bite of it. If I'm ever in Tarpon Springs again, I'll be back!

This is absolutely my favorite local lunch place near my office!! The staff and owners are always accommodating and extremely friendly! The building is very unassuming and humble. Don't let the humbleness fool you.... the taste, freshness and flavor of their food is always spot on!!! The inside is very clean and well-maintained. Most of the locals come here daily for lunch. The owners speak to many customers on a first name basis. I love their sandwiches one of my favorite is the classic Italian. The sandwich is huge and it comes with a homemade side of potato salad. For girls or lighter eaters the sandwich would be enough for two people. Another favorite of mine is the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken added. They grill the chicken fresh to order and make all of their salad dressings in house. Now let me tell you about their soup selection! They usually have at least for soup options on a daily basis and every single one is homemade daily. I love their mushroom barley soup, sweet potato/apple chipotle soup, chicken tortilla soup, Italian wedding soup and mulligatawny soup. The soup selection changes on a daily basis but usually you cannot go wrong with any of them as long as you enjoy the ingredients listed for the soup your choosing. All in all I highly recommend you try this small unassuming place! I do not think you will be disappointed!
If you want fresh is the place to go, salad is fresh fresh fresh!! The best soups you will fine around, and sandwiches are fantastic , a go to lunch spot.
I really wanted to like this place, but I just found mold on the bread of my sandwich, and I really didn't find the soup and sandwich that tasty. Maybe it was just a fluke, and I would try again if it weren't for the mold. I can't go back after finding mold half way through a sandwich. Ick!

So glad I can walk and get fresh tender grilled octopodi!!!! And the augolemeno soup was perfect. Grappa scarfed it up !!!! Oh the pizza dough was fab. Maybe I'll request less cheese on it next time.
Good restaurant and good food. We carry out order from here once per month and are never disappointed with the pizza. They have fresh baked bread that is good too. Fast and friendly as well, highly recommended
The spinach pizza is to die for as is everything else on the menu. Today's special was a mahi wrap with chipotle sauce and it was so much better than I ever expected it to be. I've also had the smelts as an appetizer and loved them. Let's not forget the Greek chopped salad with potato salad underneath. Mmmm Overall this is a great place to eat. It's affordable, it's clean and the owners are so friendly. Jimmy's has become the "go-to" place for my husband and I.

My husband was doing business in tarpon one day and texted me that he had a "ginormous" sandwhich he couldn't finish. That evening, I tasted their pork tenderloin sandwhich in rasberry, or something sweet. The bread was fresh, the taste was unexpectedly pleasant and after hours of sitting in my husbands truck, it was quite tasty! A few months later, I went for myself. I ordered the same sandwich. My eyes rolled behind my head. It was a party in my mouth. The restaurant itself is a mom and pop joint and it's a hole in the wall. It's clean, casual, and the service is friendly. I would highly recommend this place if u are in tarpon. They do take a while to prep your meal, but its well worth the wait. I recommend just calling ahead and picking up since the restaurant is a small hole in the wall and feels a bit cramped when it comes to eating in privacy. other than that, YUM!
Muzzie's is selling themselves short by simply having the word "sandwiches" painted on their storefront. The impression is that it's a tiny ice cream shop, with a few sandwiches as an after thought. The truth is, the place has an amazing selection of fresh sandwiches which are all served on home baked bread. I had the Big Ben, which is roast beef served on really good garlic bread. The sandwiches are huge! Each half is a sandwich unto itself. The menu is way more extensive than the exterior of this place would ever let on. Everything is made in house, including the french fries and dipping sauce. There is a freezer with all kinds of yummy looking frozen confections (chocolate covered cheesecake and truffles on a stick, for example) and once again, it's all made in house. Of course they have ice cream, too. The strip mall is in which Muzzie's is located is a dated. And Muzzie's is a small space. Don't judge a book by its cover! Try Muzzie's and go hungry. You'll be surprised!
Muzzie's may be an ice cream shop but their sandwiches are really the best thing here. They're MASSIVE, made on fresh garlic bread, and are really creative and delicious. They offer a few vegetarian options, too, which are just as good as their non-veg sandwiches. I'm not really impressed by their ice cream selection but they make a mean chocolate malt and the sandwiches are totally worth it. Kid-friendly atmosphere and take home options like ice cream lollipops and Mile-High Apple Pie are also a good thing.

4 stars +! I lived on Jamaica for several years, when I moved to Florida I was happy to find a nearby place with a taste if the island... Curried goat (awesome) oxtail, Jerk Chicken and Red Stripe - home cooked by charming and friendly Cliff! It feels like a home away from home, pull up at the bar have a pattie and a red stripe! Awesome place, never fails me!!
Can't believe there is an authentic Jamaican place in Tarpon Springs. Seems like a a family operation from son to dad, mom and grand dad. It looks like a little shop you would find off the street in Montego Bay with some nice reggae playing in the background. I am very particular about my Jerk chicken, and I have been disappointed more than once with some of the places in Tampa. The seasoning they use here reminds me of the days I spent in Negril eating jerk chicken almost everyday. It was not as spicy as I wanted but I was told later that if I ask for it spicy they will gladly make it "Jamaican style" so I came back a few days later and they did not disappoint. I also tried the curry goat which was good, but I like Indian curry goat better, but still it was not bad. great place, will definitely be back when I'm in the area for a quick lunch.
As an Island girl a well prepared goat is very important because if you can smell the goat then its not cleaned or prepared right and this place does it RIGHT. My Boyfriend absolutely loves it here, he says the goat melts in his mouth and he has been going back since our first time here. I love their Jamaican patties because it actually authentic and has meat in it. I'm so glad Yelp helped me find this place because we hated jerk hut for their overpriced food. we always get the oxtail, curry goat, and Jamaican patties. This place is a must try!

Pelican Point Seafood

VERY VERY Fresh Seafood + Great Staff = the best place to get fresh seafood in north Tampa Bay.
Pelican Point Seafood is my second choice of seafood market at Tarpon Spring. Just about 500 hundred feet away from my favorite "Holiday Seafood," Pelican offers much larger selection of seafood. Fresh fishes, clams, mussels, shrimps, scallops, are on display at the cooler. Frozen crabs, octopus, cuttle fish and smelt are in freezer. It is The place to buy seafood if you haven't made your mind what to buy. You will get something for sure. Price is a bit higher, but the quality of its seafood worth the dollar. If you want to buy a fresh whole fish to grill, you are at the right place. They have at least 8 different fishes to choose from and price varies. I bought a mangrove snapper last Sunday and I paid 19 dollar (6.99/pound). Staffs are very helpful and answer all my questions including how to grill the fish properly. The fish turned out delicious. When it is busy like last Sunday when I was there, you gotta wait for a while. There were four staffs work behind the counter and they were all multitasking simultaneously. But I still waited for 15 minutes. So just be patient and play on your social media while you are waiting.
My son is an avid deep sea fisherman and always said his favorite fish is hogfish. Pelican Point is one of the few places you can find it for sale and it's celestial. Call ahead to find out if they're selling it. All their other seafood is super fresh and delicious. You can also buy a whole fish and have it prepared at next door family owned Rusty Bellies. Ask about this and also their overnight refrigerated shipping! My adult kids love fish and they get a shipment of gulf shrimp and grouper at Christmas.

Fast delicious and cheap breakfast for a late night dinner. Sweet cinnamon raisin bread with bacon and smothered hash browns is your best meal. Clean and friendly service.
What can I say about Waffle House? It's your typical greasy spoon. The food tastes just as good at midnight As it does in the afternoon. WaHo is kinda looked down upon Here in FL but not GA where I'm from. As a kid looking for a place to hang out, WaHo is where we'd come. The coffee ain't strong Nor the waitresses friendly. But a hot pecan waffle Goes down gently.
There are many Waffle Houses but this one is a 5 star due to the awesome staff that works here. They are so friendly and courteous it's amazing. The cooks always get my orders correct. I love my hash browns well done and guess what, they always get it right. God Bless everybody that works here. Best of luck to everybody that works here

I came from Ft. Lauderdale, FL for a visit with my family for my birthday. We had a large party of 9 people and when we called they informed us that they do not take reservations; However, when we arrived they had already set and held a table for us! They immediately knew who I was (the birthday girl) and brought me a mimosa! Not a bad way to start off.. (I was turning 27 by the way). Our server was Michelle and she was an absolute delight. The only down side about her is that shes a Bears fan! ;) Michelle was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to guide myself and my company with ease. I was told to try the shrimp and grits. Now, I am originally from Savannah, Ga so understand my apprehension about ordering such a southern classic... IT. WAS. DELICIOUS!! The portion was big and luckily my grandpa was there to take my leftovers home. It would have been sacrilegious to throw it out! Thank you to Johnny Grits, Michelle and their entire staff for creating such a lovely memory for my birthday and with my family. I will be coming back every time I am in town! Sincerely, Brittany
It was a roll the dice day, and I wanted some place I've not been before... The pointer landed on Johnny Grits. It was close to home, and that made things Easy. We made the short drive to Klosterman and to Johnny Grits. It wasn't terribly busy, and with food this good, I'm Surprised. They're hidden, perhaps that's why, but what ever the reason, the word needs to get out. Granted most days they're only open until 2, but on Thrusday - Saturday they're open until 8. Get there! We were seated immediately, and noticed that the place was Clean and fairly large. The staff was happy and did a lot of work to keep busy. No one was idle or just hanging around. Something you see at places that just don't care. Our Waitress, Renee, was AWESOME. She really seemed to care if we came back in the future. We asked what was good, and she mentioned the Shrimp and Grits.. She RAVED about it. Said that once you had it, you'd come back, you'd crave it. Well, that sold the Husbeast, and he ordered it with the andoullie sausage. Me, I went for the chicken and waffles with 100% maple syrup. Once the order was placed and our coffees were on the table, we didn't wait terribly long. The food was Beautiful when it was presented. My chicken was golden brown and the waffle was light and fluffy.. absolutely delightful. It came to life in my mouth. THe husbeast nodded.. he said to me "Yep, She was right,I'm going to crave this.." and so now I'm going to have to go there on Tuesdays when the shrimp and grits is $2 off! Go and find this little gem, You won't be wasting your time.
I wish I could give this place 3 1/2 stars. 3 seems unfair, but 4 is too high. This place was good but not great. The biscuits and gravy were made on site. The gravy was good, but again not great. We could taste the broth base, giving it a can rather than a home cooked flavor-perhaps unfair on our part to compare it to home made gravy. We also ate eggs Benedict, crab cake eggs Benedict, and chicken eggs Benedict. The crab was again, just ok. The chicken one was really good. Coffee was about average. For the amount of people waiting outside we expected much better. Perhaps we are excessively demanding. The service was fantastic. The waitress, Christina, was very friendly and the place felt welcoming. Our party of four spent $56 plus tip.

Food was very good, service was dreadful. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm and were promptly seated by a waitress. Although she had menus in her hand, she did not leave us one. A few moments later, another waitress came by and asked us if we were ready to order. We explained we didn't have menus and she said she'd go get us some. Off she wandered. A few minutes after that, a male waiter came by and asked us if we'd like to order. We mentioned that we didn't have menus but that someone was by and said she'd bring us some. When we looked around to find her, she was in the servers area, pouring someone some drinks. The male waiter went and got them and returned immediately. He took our drink order and when he returned, took our food order. We both had the Gyros meal....it was very good but a tad on the oily side. Tzatziki is made with sour cream, not yogurt, but it was excellent and very garlicky. Would I return.....food was decent, service pretty disappointing, so most likely not.
The Gyro Chow Mein here is one of the best things I've ever eaten. All of the flavors blend together perfectly. The gyro meat is almost like a meatloaf texture, very soft. The peppers and onions melt in your mouth and the rice is cooked to perfection. The red sauce and hint of feta give it that little extra sweet and tangy flavor. The portions are huge, so get a half portion! Staff are super friendly and attentive! We will be back!
This is one of my most favorite Greek Restaurant - not that I go to many (being a vegetarian, sometimes finding meatless food in Greek restaurants aren't easy). I always order their Tzatziki, pita and their Greek Chowmein (vegetarian). Their Tzatziki is THE BEST - the flavor and the little hint of spiciness makes it amazing. And their Pita and Greek Chowmein, with Tzatziki feels heavenly. Their Service and cleanliness is not bad. Overall, a NICE restaurant. Well, like they say, Go Greek once a week!!!
