Alcoholic Slushy Heaven. Located in the Channelside Bay Plaza of Tampa. Once you enter, you will see the lit-up slushy machines lined up all against the wall. It was super humid summer night and Wet Willie's had what I needed: drinks aka "slushies" basically something that was COLD and REFRESHING. The place was packed and very noisy. I do remember that it was pretty $$ especially for the small plastic cup you get.

Good variety of frozen drinks, which is the only reason it didn't get 1 star. Nothing else makes this place stick out. Food is below average and very bland. Not much to it.

Sometimes you end up getting dragged to douchebag central (apparently it's called channelside) and you decide a drink might help ease the pain. But not when the drink is disappointingly weak and icy (frozen water rather than alcohol or flavor). I almost threw up, not because of having too much to drink (very hard to do with drinks this weak), but from watching womanizing frat boy and fat slobs oogle and harass the female bartenders. And that the bartenders encouraged this as a way to drum up tips. I wonder how many drunk guys a night leave totally thinking they will return and get laid by one of the bartenders later that night, while she's already flirting it up with the next guy to sit down?

OMG Slushy heaven! Great spot for a tourist. Friendly staff, I love the fact that they let you try a fair amount of flavors before making your decision. I had blue with Sex on the beach and it was pretty good. For my second I had mango with strawberry. I really liked it and loved the fact that I got to take the cup home with me! Two of these and your good to go. It was pretty empty so we got good service.. it was a Tuesday though. I'll be back Wet Willies if I'm ever in Tampa again!!! :) Oh yeah... out door seating is always a plus. It was located in a cute little plaza with lots of little restaurants and spots to have fun :)

I love this place! The first time I was brought here, my friend told me that this would be the first of many trips - and that was kind of an understatement! I think since then I have been here over a dozen times...in a less than a year. I never really frequented Channelside very much before my first Wet Willie's visit, but it definitely has brought me back and caused me to explore the surrounding restaurants a bit more. Being that I live in Tampa, it is basically always appropriate daiquiri weather, so I could never see this place NOT having people in it. The first time I visited was over the summer, and WW was an oasis from the blazing heat. There are at least 20 options ranging from the traditional strawberry to their signature concoction, the Call-A-Cab; which was definitely named properly - it's made from everclear and it is STRONG! Having the ridiculously overpowering sweet tooth that I have, I usually opt for a mixture of strawberry and chocolate or chocolate and "monkey business" - which is their banana flavor. Also, they have two of those MegaTouch machines loaded with all sorts of awesome games; my friends and I have become VERY familiar with those machines and have spent ample time accumulating high scores of a handful of games. Wet Willie's is definitely a place you can't really get sick of and it a great little bar to spend some low-key time with friends and get a little...slushed!

My husband and I had originally planned to spend some time at Splitzville but they were closed for renovations :( to make sure we made the most of our long drive to Channelside and the money spent on parking we decided to try out Wet Willie's. It was the first time we had seen a bar that served daiquiris this way. The service was great. We were able to try a few samples of the many flavours they had before finally choosing our final drink. The only reason for 4 star review is because we didn't order any food so unable to review the food and one of the flavours were out of order. Definitely want to go again!

  • Thuy N.

The food is some what appetizing. Ordered the chips and salsa, and the tomatoes didn't really taste fresh. The only thing that was delicious was the tequila chicken wings and my apple drink.

  • Sherene W.

Came here with friends from school. I had a good time but we were forced to sit outside because first there was no seating then when we found seats it was way to noisy in there. They should add more seating to the place and not cluster them so close to each other.

  • Kiera B.

Good, STRONG drinks. Really wish this wasn't located in Channelside because I really don't do Channelside often. I love having fun sampling the drinks and then mixing. The atmosphere is a little dull so make sure you bring good company. Without very many exciting offerings in Channelside the best use of this place is for pregaming then hopping on the trolley to head over to Ybor.

Great prices and drinks! Service is amazing, and the location is perfect! Must see in Channelside!

Great drinks and food. Friendly staff. Love going here when we go to Channel side :-)

Okay. I admit. I'd never in a million years be caught dead in a place like this if I weren't on vacation. I like the concept at Wet Willie's. They have a wall of slushy, fruity, strong drinks. Name's like "Call a Cab", "Monkey Shine", "Mojito Mojo".... and just regular ass "Margarita". There were at least 15 choices here and they were all pretty tasty -- if you like that sort of thing. Other than that, no full bar or anything but they did serve a few types of beer. Service was okay. Crowd went from frat boy to hillbilly to skank-a-licious. Sorry. I'm from Cleveland.

I loved this place. The people were oddly creepy for mid-day, but you can't win everytime. The waiters were really cool, albeit somewhat unorganized due to a shift change and an awkward payment system. Sometimes it's nice to just sit at an open bar and relax with some alcoholic smoothies. 'Nuff said.

    (5)
  • Brett B.

Grain alcohol in a slushy? YES! The sampler is great you get all the flavors plus some extra. The flavor "Call a cab" is the most spot on name they could call it. The atmosphere is nice and the service is great. Will be back and hopefully this time i will not be driving.

  • Courtney G.

It's uber touristy anda bit boring but, super strong and super sweet frozen alcohol! If you're a sugar lover like me and want a cheapish place to start the night then I'd point you here. They serve ~12 flavors of slushies spiked to the sky, take care.

This is my second visit to a WW; I visited the one in downtown Charleston, SC, last winter. Drinks are potent but I really enjoy them. The food definitely left something to be desired today--the fries tasted really old and were way too crunchy--but the drinks were top notch as usual. Want to get a nice buzz in a hurry and love frozen drinks? This is the place for you. Definitely improved my attitude and luckily my wife drove home so I didn't need to "call a cab".

I love Fat Tuesdays and when we saw this place in Channelside we got excited. Who doesn't love a strong, frozen drink with a bunch of different options to choose from? So my first clue was that the service in here sucks ass. It wasn't all of the tenders fault that he was in this position by himself, but he clearly didn't know how to prioritize. We waited a full 15 minutes at the bar just to order. When he did come over, he said "you can sit down and a waitress will help you". Really? I had no clue.....I'm standing here because I like to be ignored by you. Just take my order, tell me how much your going to jam it up my ass for these two drinks, and I will walk away! So I ordered a mudslide which is a mix of two different drinks. Not like FT where its actually a flavor. Wife ordered a mojito. Price was about $18. In line I guess with places like this, however, the drinks were terrible. Not strong at all like I was expecting. For the price, put some booze in it! But I guess this area is more of a "bud light" type of crowd so they were all happy...... Maybe if I never had Fat Tuesdays and had nothing to compare these drinks too, then, no wait, they still would have sucked. We also were hungry but saw someone eating what appeared to be nachos that were microwaved. No thanks. I liked it better when i was a little kid in school and someone gave me a "wet willie"...

I love the set up in Wet Willie's. You walk in and you see a curving bar and a wall that is inset with slushie mixes with the names above each mix. I chose the Apple slushie with vodka. Yes, it was only noon and no, I didn't care. It was a great cooling and tasty drink, just perfect for a hot day. There are plenty of flavors available and you can add different spirits to the drinks. They are pretty easy going there and you can taste several mixes before choosing your poison. I don't remember the name of one in particular, but it tasted like medicine. You want your liquor to taste good, darn it! It's a great place to grab a drink and cool off.

  • Carlos H.

Wet Willie's is a powerhouse of alcohol consumption. Just one or two of those frozen drinks and you'll be finding out all kinds of things your friends have been wanting to say and vice versa. It seems to take an effect quicker than normal alcoholic beverages as well. I don't have a favorite flavor, but the drinks can vary quite a bit in taste. We took our drinks out into the Channelside courtyard and ran into someone from Splitsville selling Jello Shots...man that was a good and bad idea! I think Wet Willie's is a great pre-gaming place before heading over to Aja to go clubbing or elsewhere. A cool bar.

Am I a wet willies alumni. This makes my 8th wet willies I've ben to. And these people need to get they self together first I see they have a dress code which was funny to me. But I like how this willies is set up I came here back in 08' and things I didn't notice then I do now. I order a "miami vice" for me and my girl and I asked do you know how to make it she said yes..then I said your miami vice not the original she said yes again and what does she do go right down there and make the original which is pina colada and strawberry. And thats not what we wanted. But when I told her she said this is a miami vice I asked if it was on there menu and to my surprise it wasn't along with a bunch of other drinks thats on the miami menu. So I was throwed off by that. So lesson to be learned just because it's willies don't mean they are all the same.

  • Heather B.

I think when I walked in I thought that I had just entered heaven... A whole wall of slushie drinks! With names like call-a-cab, attitude improvement, chocolate thunder, shock treatment, monster melon, monkey shine, and mojito mojo, you just know you're in trouble. Seriously, two of these will knock you on your kiester! My first sip I knew I was in for a good time. Boy was i right! The Channelside location has only been open for a week or two, but they know how to party! The munchies are tasty too, and definitely help soak up the booze in the slushies that make them famous. Definitely a good way to get the party started! Check them out!

You know my last visit here was disappointing, and that's to put it mildly. If you haven't been to Channelside, it's like the most depressing place to spend an evening. Between the cover band playing terrible Jimmy Buffet songs, the dude doing stencil graffiti, and the closed down businesses, you want to pop three valium immediately upon arrival and just doze off into unconsciousness, with the accompaniment of a frozen beverage, that's where Wet Willies comes in to the picture. First off if you're a man (because the rule only applies to men) you cannot wear a sleeveless shirt, or ball cap, or other clothing they deem inappropriate....ARE YOU KIDDING ME, listen you're not Bern's and if I had a business in Channelside I would not be refusing any business, let alone people wearing tank tops in the summer time! I digress.... the point is the frozen drinks, don't ever order the food, if you want terrible food there's a Hooters next door. So, normally I order a Miami Vice (Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada mixed for you beginners), but something was not right. I kept getting little bits of mix in my mouth because it wasn't mixed properly, they were like chunks of baking soda. Even more annoying, is the fact that I had to send someone else in to order my drinks, and I had to sit outside because of my tank top...at this point I am over my frozen drink infatuation.

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I have frequented this place a bunch, just never got around to review it. Call me a cab? Sure. 151 and grain alcohol. Its strong. Takes some getting used to. If you'd like, the bartenders will let you try all the favors or make their own. This is great if you're like me and don't like slushy drinks very much. It's great to go to before a night out to get your pre drink on for cheap.

    (5)
  • Michael R.

Welll... posting a review after a visit probably isn't the best idea but jeeze. I drink regularly and 2 of their 20oz call-a-cabs had me rolling around and running my mouth like a fool. Great in groups of friends or office workers that you want to get the secrets out of. Buy the first round and get the fun started. No real gripes, it was a Wednesday night, no crowd to speak of, got my frozen goodies in under 60 seconds.

Strong drinks, many flavors and really cute and pleasant bartenders, I have been to this location, Savannah GA both were the same, Tampa was much newer though. I give it an A for variety, atmosphere and unique style.

  • Andee S.

I always go to this place when I go to Channelside. I take my slushie and take it to the movies. I don't know if they serve food, but the drinks are good. Really strong, and you are satisfied. I never say no to that place :) and when I go there just to chill, its nice, and the people are great :)

  • Kimberly D.

Great sampler for you to try all of the flavors of the alcohol slushies. We enjoyed discovering which flavors were the best. I liked the white russian and chocolate thunder the best. My husband also liked the white russian. Good service and will be back to Channelside to get a larger size of one of my favorites.

This is your typical frozen drinks place. Very cute, and family friendly by the pier. Everything was delicious, i recommend the green melon flavor!!

  • Ronnie L.

Interesting for a Hot place like this. I mixed some chocolate with banana and got - You guessed it: Chocolate Banana. What the hell am I talking about? Look at the picture. This is a bar. It has got to be the easiest place on earth to be a bartender. It's wall to wall alcoholic smoothies. Seriously, They had White Russians, Call-A-Cab (which I kept talking to people who got it and asking, "Did you get the 'F**ked Up Car'?" since I could rememer the name of it and this was the one that was supposed to have the most alcohol) and a bunch of other flavors that you could mix and match. They were good. They got busy later on. This would NEVER work in Michigan but in a place where it was 80 degrees in October, go figure... Apparently they had food too. But who cares when you could have a frozen alcohol slushie!

  • Mitchell M.

Well being a male it is usually seen as very feminine to be drinking a frozen drink, but I will admit when its hot there is sometimes nothing better than a frozen cocktail, and at Wet Willie's you get just that. If rated on service alone Willie's would get a 5 star rating. We arrived right after the hockey game let out and channelside was packed. Regardless of the crowd the girls slinging the frozen concoctions behind the bar were an amazing help, very patient, and understanding. When looking at a wall of what seems like 500 different slushy machines its no wonder it takes a while to order. With drinks ranging from margarita and mojito to "call a cab" and my favorite "Naked Willie." The drinks were good and fair priced but what would bring me back was the great service.

  • Tokuda B.

Although this is NOTHING like Miami wet willies, I still enjoyed my drinks. We got there about 1 pm so it was quite early, and left at 5. The bartenders were pretty cool and had me cracking up. With all the choices that I had to choose from, he still helped me figure out some different mixes. We will definitely be back, side note, even though Hooters is in the same area, they don't alow you inside with a wet willies drinks, so we just bought wings and went back to wet willies, ate and bought more wet Willie drinks....lol

  • Jaimie T.

I stopped by Wet Willie's in search of a quick drink after leaving Amalie Arena. It's a short walk from the arena and the prices are reasonable. The bartenders were fairly quick despite a full house. We were offered a sample and ended up sharing a Call-A-Cab. It was plenty strong and I was feeling it after just half of a large cup! One thing I was surprised about was there was a dress code at night. This isn't the classiest place so it was a little odd. But we enjoyed our drink and were on our way soon. I'd come back whenever I'm in Channelside and feeling a little thirsty!

  • Anne F.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. It wasn't very busy, but neither was any place in channelside. The staff was really nice and helped us out with recommendations and samples right away. I ordered a piña colada and it was good, but very sweet. We only stayed for one drink. I imagine this place would be more fun when there are ships docked or at a busier time of day.

    (3)
  • Nadine F.

The drinks are stong and cold! Good if you are really into the frozen drunken kinda thing. Cold drinks are the best drinks in Florida weather. I would consider this a quick cool down break. There are not enough tables to sit and enjoy so you stand there until you finish your drink and then you leave. The service is relatively quick and they allow you to sample a couple flavors before making picking one. I have tried a few and still haven't found what I'm looking for. They just don't replace freshly made daiquiris but it is fun to try the different flavors .

    (3)
  • Shelby R.

A fun way to spend a few hours though it can get kind of loud at night. I recommend sampling the flavor you are interested in (they allow you to sample two) and mixing flavors is also fun. I had the mango and margarita mixed. Yum! All in all a cool place to get a drink!

    (4)
  • Taylor G.

For the price, I think the drinks here are a good deal. My girlfriend and I split a Call A Cab and it was pretty strong. We didn't realize that you could mix flavors until after we ordered, but I'm sure you could come up with some good combinations. The place was full so we had to squeeze into the very corner of the bar near the bathroom. I also think the dress code is pretty dumb since a lot of people probably stop by after Lightning games.

    (3)
  • Brittany G.

Fun place for drinks, especially in the summer heat! Tons of flavors to choose from and you can mix and match! They also let you taste up to 2, definitely good before you order a whole big drink. Just so you know, the drinks are strong! You won't notice it under all the sugar till you have had 1 or 2. It does get loud and pretty full on weekend nights, so get there early especially if you are a big group.

    (4)
  • Elizabeth M.

BF and I came here after a hockey game and of course it was busy. Cute concept. Slushie alcohol. What can be bad about that? I got the sugar free Call A Cab. It was ok. I think it's one of those things that you really need real sugar though. It tasted a little off, but I think it was just the whole fake sugar thing, not any problem with the drink. Really sweet drinks can be hard for me though, and I stuck to just the one. The waitress was nice and available when we needed her. If I'm ever here visiting for another hockey game, I'd definitely consider stopping in again and trying another sugar full drink.

    (3)
  • Thuy L.

I've been here several times and always had a great experience. Be warned that the drinks can hit you pretty quick, so don't underestimate it. The bartenders are always helpful and extremely nice. I come here for the drinks, but have tried a few of the food items. I enjoyed the tequila wings, which was the only memorable item because I can't remember anything else I had. Just a great place to hang out and catch up. There's also a few TVs if you decide to watch a game, but this wouldn't be my first choice for that.

    (3)
  • Génesis V.

the service is amazing, the chocolate thunder is really good!!! I love that you can mix all the flavors!!

    (5)
  • Jonathan S.

Getting SLUSHIED!!!! This place is very fun their food is good, think any normal bar foods, but what you wash it all down with is different. Grab a nice cool glass of Wet Willie's Daiquiris, pick a flavor, mix and match, order one of their innovatively inventive mash ups or unleash that inner 10 year old and mix all the favors in one solo cup. The combinations are endless and the bartenders always have a few of their own favorite mixes so don't hesitate to ask for the assist. Take in the beautiful bay air and walk the shops of channel side while you're here.

  • Ben H.

Holy crap I think that's the worst pizza I've ever had. And the atmosphere of a bachelorette party. Polite service and an okay chicken wrap.

    (2)
  • Nicole T.

I haven't tried their food, but the daiquiris are delicious! They have a good variety of flavors. If you like daiquiris, you've gotta check this place out.

    (4)
  • Lilly R.

Great range of drinks. This place fills up quickly but the staff is great so never fret; this Wet Willie's is fun and satisfying.

    (5)
  • Ashley R.

I have a ridiculous amount of Wet Willies cups at my house. This is my favorite hangout spot for a Sunday afternoon or really any day when you're just bored but you still want to go out and do some people watching. They always let you mix flavors and if you ask for a sample they will give it to you in a little shot glass. Their food isn't half bad either as far as bar food goes. Definitely a win and if you've been to the on in Miami, I feel like this one uses better liquor and it's definitely more chill/less rowdy which I like.

    (5)
  • Aleema A.

I've been to this bar several times and it's pretty OK. Not my favorite place to be, it kind of smells, but if you love frozen drinks, it's the best place in Channelside.

    (3)
  • Elana L.

In Channelside.... Do you like frozen drinks? If so, come here! My favorites are the Pink Flamingo (strawberry and pina colada mixed) and the Dreamsicle (orange and pina colada mixed) There are many other flavors to try though! I don't recommend their food. It's below average bar food! prices are $6, $7 or $8 depending on cup size.

    (4)
  • Porsha' E.

Bob Marley drink... that's all you need 2 know... order it...!!! ***bathroom situation was not the best*** but the drinks make you forget a/b that...!!!

  • Travis L.

This is a tough one for me as I love Wet Willie's in general but they lose a star for the food and for being inside the shopping plaza. The drinks are still as good as the other locations across this fine country so I highly recommend going if you haven't been to one before. It's hard to judge this location because the one is Savannah is so good and right on the water. The food here is rough. We split a flat bread and chips and salsa that were both really bland. The price point isn't terrible for the area so if you are looking for a cheap meal I'd recommend coming here. Overall had a great experience and the servers were very friendly. Don't forget they offer free samples so you can find the perfect drink.

    (3)
  • Victoria A.

Old time favorite but the one in my home town Miami. The reason I say this is because one they close super early I believe 12am and then there food menu is so scarce and totally not the same. They don't even have the fish and chips or the ranch chicken wrap or the MIAMI's "miami vice". Not to talk down on the one in Tampa or Tampa it self but it is different. We came here on Thursday night to get a drink and some food but there menu did not have what we wanted and the drinks were OK ( no swirlers here) if you have been to the mi-yayo you know what I am talking about. Anyway I guess at the end or the day I will have to get the job done. We will be back.

Over our 2014 winter visit to Tampa, we decided to watch our first ever Lightning game. The TBT Forum where the Lightning play is downtown- near the Channelside district. Well, so is Wet Willie's. Now, we've been to this location and didn't have a lot of fun the first time sans the review below. This time around however, I must admit the joint has been cleaned up considerably. The bartenders were awesome guys who patiently sat around helping you make a choice They also offered options to mix flavors etc. We drank quite a few cups and found the experience to be way better than our initial visit. We also walked over to the Forum and were able to watch our Lightning win! We'll be back when in the area.

Went here during Gasparilla and was pleasantly surprised. They're known for their frozen drinks, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I tried the White Russian and it was really good! Also got a rum and coke but they don't have a full bar, only some rum and vodka with soda to mix. I got the Mexican pizza which has beef, onions, tomatos and taco sauce. It was delicious and really well made. My mom got the bbq pizza and that was also really good.

  • Ashley F.

A variety of frozen cocktails in all sorts of different flavors! It's the adult version of slush puppies! What's more fun than that!?!

  • Dena P.

Yum! How can you not like this place? Spiked Slushy goodness. Oh man. Not much to say about interior as it doesn't have much to broast about but the lines of slushy machines brings happiness to all slushy fans. From all flavors, colors and even level of alcohol. You can either sit at the bar or tables provided by Willie's or even take your drink out to the courtyard. I opted for the sitting option and even got to try a dish from there. The food was pretty average. For drinks - I've tried the Mango (yum!) Pink Flamingo (YUM! it's super sweet and weak if you're not into strong drinks) and the Triple...... something? (Meh, it's good but pretty strong!). Also got to their beef nacho which isn't bad if you're hungry and want to munch while drinking away~. It's a pretty good amount to be shared with a few people. Love this place! It's a slushy heaven for adults and a dream for kids :P ONLY upsetting issue is.... BRAIN FREEZE! yikes!

I remember when Channelside was THE place to be. Sadly, those days are no more. But, if you do find yourself at Channelside during the day time, Wet Willie's is a good spot to grab one of many frozen drinks and escape the heat. If you've been to a Fat Tuesdays, you're familiar with the concept: a wall of frozen drink machines behind the bar. I spent a few hours posted up at the bar here on a Sunday afternoon. The bar staff was great, letting us sample just about every frozen drink. Don't be fooled by how tasty the drinks are, they pack a punch and I found myself nicely buzzed after two. I found most drinks too sweet, but the margarita and mojitos were the more tart options. Drink prices are OK -- it's $6 for a small frozen drink, $7 for medium and $8 for large which included a souvenir cup. They also have beer and liquor if you aren't in the mood for something frozen, but really, that's the whole reason you come here.

  • Paula D.

Went here on a Tuesday night with a couple of friends the place was not busy there were two servers and a bartender on the floor. I can say these things because I am a server and bartender myself and I know how it is. However for the amount of staff and number of people in the place and to be seated for 20 minutes and have no one come and say anything is unacceptable! Especially when one server walks right past your table to go use the bathroom. I will not be back ever!

  • Martin C.

Great Frozen Drinks, convenient location...I am a regular and will keep going back, only downside is crappy lighting and questionable food, but they are doing a great job in their main business which is frozen drinks

  • Kelly Q.

Ok, I gotta say, I really liked Wet Willies. Staff was young and friendly and generous with the samples. The place was absolutely dead, granted it was a random Sunday afternoon, and Channelside was looking a little sad and neglected overall. The slushies are a fun change from your usual alcoholic vice. I honestly really liked the Naked, no sugar, low cal. I did, however, sample the Chocolate Thunder, talk about amazing. I would get hammered in no time, I wouldn't be able to put the thing down.

Great prices and yummy frozen drinks what more do you want lol . when ever i go to wet willies i always get the Call A Cab and i heard its their strongest drink. I like that they let you try as many different favors until you like the best one . They also give you suggestions on what favors too mix which is always good but can be dangerous lol i wish they opened one in NY but i hear wet willies is coming to Atlantic city so i guess it will be a little closer then Tampa lmao. The staff are nice could be little faster since it was a Saturday afternoon and not too many customers but overall i'm there for my frozen drinks lol

I came here to get a quick bite before I participated in a race. All I ordered was some chips, and a couple of dip sauces. Cheese, salsa, and spinach artichoke. It somehow took 20 minutes to make. It was on the appetizer menu. If I had sat down and it took 20 minutes to just get an appetizer, I would hate to see how long it takes for an entree. The chips and dip were decent, but not for a 20 minute wait in a nearly dead restaurant

Met a couple friends here for late night drinks. Be warned, men can't wear super baggy clothes or hats of any kind (the boyfriend had to go back to the car to put his fedora back... So much for trying to be cool). I have a love-hate relationship with daiquiris: I love them because they're so delicious, but hate how tanked I get from them if I'm not paying attention to how many I'm drinking. So, of course, I had to try the Call A Cab, their strongest drink! What I liked most was that they let you try as many different favors as you wanted before actually purchasing a $6-$8 drink. Yay for samples! I ended up mixing the Call A Cab and Sour Apple, and they'll let you mix whichever ones you want. My only small complaint is that the waiters and waitresses are not as quick as I'd like them to be; the waitress we had also had friends at a different table, and they were getting fantastic service. Me, not so much. But I'd definitely come back.

This place is awesome especially if you are a tourist like me trying to enjoy your vacation. Wet Willie's is essentially and alcoholic ICEE. They have a myriad of flavors and can suggest which one you might like based on your liquor preferences and favorite flavors. Since I was a first timer, they suggested I sample a few before settling on my final choice. I thoroughly enjoyed each flavor and had my friend decide on a flavor for me because I wanted them all! I am a huge ICEE fan to begin with so when Wet Willie's decided to make an adult version I was thrilled. I will continue to come back here on hot days to enjoy my beverage out on the patio! And I agree with Carlos H.- this drinks do have a quick effect on you!

Love this place! Find almost any flavor daquiri you want...the large is $8.00. You're aloud to sample a few first. My partner and I had the "Call a Cab" and "Banana" daquiri. The "Call a Cab" daquiri reminded me of an old time cherry slurpie from 7-11. I'm talking about the slurpies 7-11 used to have back in the late 70's / early 80's...and the banana daquiri was good but seemed to get sweeter the more you drank it. Something you'll want to keep in mind when chosing your flavor...because most daquiris do.

It is sad that such a great place like Wet Willie's is in the almost desolate Channelside. I visited here on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty! I've been to a couple other of the Wet Willie's locations and they have never disappointed. It was a little on the smaller side, but it was clean, well decorated, and plenty of nice tv's with the football games on. We ordered the nachos with chicken and they were great! Fresh, tons of toppings, and the portion was enough to feed 4. I've had almost every single one of the flavors but I prefer to mix - the mudslide combo is just like a chocolate milkshake, but with an adult flare. Hopefully even if Channelside goes under, Wet Willie's relocates or stays open!

A must-go if you're in town looking for a good time. Try all the flavors. They'll let you! Beware, after two of these slushies... things will get weird. While on a bachelor party, this was one of our first stops. Plus, they truly support a bunch of college/professional teams that you may have in common! Personally, I would never order food hear as I see it being only for drinking.

I always like there Daiquiris drinks here. They always have new flavor and as always you can mix and match and order extra finger to make you daiquiris stronger. Even though the place is busy the service is always fast and made sure that everyone is taken care off.

I love Wet Willie's!! (The bar that is) This place is always a blast to visit with friends. The bartenders are always friendly and they let you sample whatever you want, however you want. And after all that tasting you're bound to be hungry, right? Not to fear they have shareable plates (if you're feeling generous enough too) and a variety of sandwiches and plates. The food is satisfying, the drinks will make you woozy and the atmosphere is eclectic yet chill. A great place to hangout with friends and have a laugh.
