I don't frequently visit fast food places but with a sick baby and full time jobs its hard for my husband and I to find time to cook a hot meal. So we figured we'd stop by real quick. Never again. The service here is horrible. Everyone was extremely rude. I asked for a chocolate shake and the drive threw woman snapped at me saying we don't have shakes we have frostys! Last I checked its the same thing, get over yourself. So when I get up to the window she repeats my order to me in a tone that suggests I'm the reason her life is misserable (not the fact that your in your late 20s flipping burgers, can't be your fault) and of course it's wrong. She was probably too busy arguing about frostys to listen to the order. Honestly if I could give no stars I would. This place is horrible

Went through the drive thru 15 mins before they closed and sat and waited for them to take our order. We sat there for 5 minutes and no one took our order. We pulled up to the window and the girl just waived us on. Rude. Not going back.

I've been frequenting this Wendy's for a few years now, and know what to expect. No, it isn't great. It's just Wendy's. My experiences don't seem to be as bad as the other reviewers, but they do mess up my orders on occasion, same as 90% of the other fast food places. I always pull my car around the building to double check and walk inside if there's a problem. The fact that I've made this part of the routine should tell you something. Common problems that I've had include: mayo when I asked for none, no tomato on sandwiches that are supposed to have them, and badly wilted lettuce. The problems seem to be much worse late at night, especially concerning the vegetables. The service is not great, but I don't expect that here. I do expect them do put together decent food quickly, which they achieve somewhat regularly. This last time, I was a little bewildered. I always order spicy chicken sandwiches (they're relatively consistent because they make them off site and just heat up the chicken in the store), but yesterday I was in the mood for a burger. I ordered a double with cheese, and being happy with my choice, I paid and pulled around to check my order. They got all the items correct! But, the burger didn't look anything like what I am accustomed to from my long years as a Wendy's customer. It looked like they poured a ladle of grease into the wrapper and quickly wrapped it so they wouldn't lose any. I literally poured grease out of the wrapper onto the parking lot so it wouldn't drip in my car or on me. Did I take it back in? No. As I said, they got the items right, which is better than anticipated, and if they make it that bad once, they'll only do it worse the second time. It is disappointing, but I know not to expect anything better.

I'm a Wendy's fan and I've been known to dabble in spicy chicken nuggets from time to time. This location is close to home, should be easy enough right? The workers here are miserable. I know by now not to expect customer service from a fast food restaurant, but they will literally hand you your food without saying a word and be halfway across the restaurant by the time you look up from checking the bag. It's not surprising in this day and age but it certainly doesn't make me want to patronize this location very often.

Wendy's is my go to fast food place. I frequent the one on Hillsborough and 15th as it's close to my job and sometimes I need something super quick. I like their fries and their deluxe cheeseburger (hold the cheese) and their nuggets. I have never gone to the one on Gandy before until this past Friday night...although it's the one closest to my house. I was heading home late and figured hmmm why not try it. I was extremely disappointed. The fries were hard and stale. The person that took my order through the intercom did not seem to understand what I was saying...I eventually just ordered the nuggets. They were hard and basically tasteless. The workers seemed to be joking around with each other as I waited for my order and discussing personal matters loudly and as they took our payment. Hey nothing wrong with having a little fun at work specially when it's almost closing time...but at least maintain some professionalism for the 5 minutes a customer is at the window. I'm not trying to compare the food and the service to upper scale burger places...I'm simply comparing it to other Wendys and the service and food just weren't up to par. I will not be returning to this particular location.

You expect certain things from chains, that's how they become chains. I've frequented a Wendy's in Seattle about once a week for years, mostly to get a quick salad for dinner. They've never messed my order up. I stopped by this one in Tampa for a taste of "home" and was disappointed. It was slow, about five minutes before anyone acknowledge my existence at the order station. They guy behind me got frustrated and left. But I was determined to get my Cobb salad. The gal taking orders was short and rude, doing the very least necessary to technically fulfil job requirements. She gave me a Frostee with no spoon, and the wrong salad dressing. Lemon Garlic Caesar dressing on a Cobb salad is yuck. I'll give them another chance, but from the looks of other Yelp reviews of Wendy's in the area, it's clear this one, and many of them, need the company to step in and give them a dose of professionalism.
