I wish they had one of these close to where I live...on a recent business trip I needed something fast, healthy, tasty for lunch. They had a variety of great options on the menu, the food was prepared right in front of me, ready in a few minutes. I also tried one of the kale-spinach smoothies with yogurt - it was the best part of lunch! Did I mention I wish there were one closer to where I live?

Top notch healthy California style mexican and Thai casual fast food has rice bowls, wraps, paninis, salads, soups. I highly recommend the Greek salad, Thai red curry rice bowl, carnitas rice bowl, fish tacos, chicken quesadilla, southwest bean soup, Italian wedding soup, meat chilli, and California club Panini. There is no alcohol or table service. You must place your order at the register, watch them make it for you, and wait at the counter until it is ready. The rice bowls offer large portions. Plenty of street parking available and a nearby garage. Prices range from $5-$8 with the wraps being the least expensive at $5-$6 and the salads and rice bowls going for $8 each. Service is non existent but the people seem about as friendly as a local subway. Everything is fresh tasty and healthy. This is a great and welcome addition to Hyde park and in maybe ways cheaper and better than the rice bowls offered at ciccio and Tony's and green lemon. Will be coming back again.

I enjoy this place for lunch. Good dishes, simple, and the smoothies are pretty tasty. The environment is casual. The location is perfect, near one of the parking garages so it makes it easy for a quick eat and go lunch. Service is a little slow but they are very friendly there.

BEST SMOOTHIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great location in Hyde Park and great food! The prices are fair and the service is friendly. Good music on the radio and great windows for viewing the monthly farmers market shoppers! I highly recommend this place!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. It was our first time in and we wont be back. I ordered the 1977 special which is described as 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup or 1/2 salad plus a drink and dessert. I ordered a sandwich and she said what else? I went to order a salad and all she said was "No". Very rudely. And then proceeded to list the three types of soup... I ordered one. She then dished up my soup and just walked away. I never got my dessert and it took a very long time to receive my sandwich. Food was mediocre. Like I said, won't be back.

The food is ok but really pricey for what it is. I usually always get the same food, either Baja Turkey Jack or the Chipotle salad, and other couple items I rotate. I only go there because it's somewhat fast-growing and very close to my job. Something that bothers me the most is the customer service is the worst. The young kid is great, but that older lady in her 40s is awful and finds a way to mess up my order every single time, she's not pleasant at all, and is almost rude. I really wish I could go somewhere else to eat, but unfortunately I never have time to go other places! Every time I pay, I am already upset with the lady who is just so rude, I really hope some manager sees this and fires her because she's the rudest person of all. Other than that the place is relatively clean, but prices and the service are just bad for what it is. At least the price would be acceptable if the old lady was a pleasant as the younger guy.

Had a late lunch here today! The club Panini hit the spot. I was especially pleased that the bread was dry and crunchy.

Nature's Table has been around for many years. They recently revamped a few things, and I'm glad they're here to stay despite many people closing doors around them. I've always been a huge fan of their smoothies and shakes. The difference is subtle. The smoothies are made with liquid yogurt and the shakes are made with frozen yogurt resulting in a much creamier blend. Both are delicious and filling. For meals, their sandwiches are good but I love their southwestern salad topped with vegetarian chili. Try them out so they'll stick around even longer!

First timer at Nature's Table - I ducked in for a smoothie fix since I missed lunch. The guy behind the counter was the BEST - to make my life easy, he asked what my favorite fruits were and he would simply customize a drink for me. I ended up with a Strawberry, Blueberry and Banana smoothie with protein and energy boosters. If it were just left to me, my order may have opted out on the banana, but he told me it helps to round out the flavor and would make me feel more full since I was hungry and trying to hold off until dinner. He was right. What surprised me was the pride he took in making the drink both taste as appealing as possible (he described how he layered in vanilla yogurt and vanilla protein powder), and how he wanted to be sure I was happy with the ultimate product (asked me to taste before I paid). I can be pretty grumpy when I'm hungry, and this experience turned me from the evil queen to the fair princess in one sip.

Hadn't been here in about a year....and remembered why immediately. The line was about 6 people deep which unfortunately meant a thirty minute wait. The service pace is that of a snail and the staff does not appear to be in any hurry to do anything in particular to improve the speed. Three people behind the counter and no urgency at all to provide service. I watched a guy slice three tomatoes in the span of about 10 minutes!!! The food as good and definitely worth the price...of course by the time I got it I could have ordered again for my next meal.

My family and I were in Hyde Park the other day and since my sister and her husband are more health conscience than I am they wanted to try it. We went in and there were a few people already eating but only one person ahead of us in line. The employee made eye contact with me but did not acknowledge us in any way. We were waiting for a good 5 minutes while he prepared the ladies meal. Then another employee came out and rang up what we ordered but didn't help make any of our food to speed a long the process. We sat outside at one of their tables since it was freezing inside. I ordered the spicy buffalo wrap an it was really good. The rest of my family ordered: Mediterranean Chicken wrap, Sesame Thai Rice Bowl, and the "No Bull" Burrito wrap. We were all satisfied with our choices but weren't blown away. I'd go there again as a quick stop if I was down in Hyde Park and didn't want a traditional sit down restaurant. The food was fresh but the wait was a little ridiculous.

Great smoothies and delicious, healthy food options!! I used to live a block from this place and was thankful for living so close to a health-conscious store. I do, however, wish they were healthier (mostly organic options/ingredients)... My only dislike is in regards to the staff. There is always a woman there - presumably the owner - who is incredibly unfriendly. She always looks and seems absolutely miserable and has no "people skills" whatsoever and therefore (I feel) should not be in a position or field where she comes in contact with customers.

The wraps were really good, however the customer service was HORRIBLE. The cashier was extremely rude and short, lacing everything with a bit of attitude. We weren't complicated customers, just two wraps without any special directions and a drink. I understand people have bad days- leave it at home.

"A-OK". Great place for a quick stop if you are hungry for light wraps, sandwiches, rice bowls, salads or smoothies. The quality of food are decent but nothing to accompany a fanfare. I had the Thai Rice Bowl with grilled chicken ( shredded lettuce, white rice, sprinkling of shredded carrot, grilled chicken, and a slight spicy sauce ). The rice was a bit too mushy for a typical rice bowl, but the overall tate and penetration was decent. I also had the Mango Mama smoothie which I will skip the next time. They do have a wide variety of items in the each category mentioned above. Despite they being busy they kept the assembly line going efficiently ( many items are made to order ). They are courteous and seem to take pride in their offerings. If I'm in the area and need to quickly stop and grab a light lunch, I'll certainly stop here again.

I was excited to eat here because of the name of the restaurant and figured they'd have some healthy vegetarian options. They did actually offer quite a few veg items so I decided to give it a shot. The service was very slow. There were only two people ahead of me and it took me almost 10 minutes just get my order. I decided to get the vegetarian rice bowl and was really disappointed. I figured topping the bowl with their vegetarian chili would add plenty of flavor. Unfortunately it was all just very blah and bland. Luckily I got a bag of chips on the side to help fill me up since I only ended up eating a few bites of my $8 meal. While there were other veg options on their menu, my thought is that I will likely be avoiding another visit. I gave them two stars since they do have a decent amount of veg options, which I like, and while slow--the staff was very nice.

I have gone here 2-3 times when visiting FITniche in Hyde Park. The first time I ate there I loved it. The 2nd time It was good, but not as good as the first. Both times I ordered the same item (Baja Turkey Jack Panini) but the 2nd time was just not as amazing as the first. Maybe I was really hungry the first time. My GF got the Tuna Melt both times. This was also very tasty both time an she loved it. The location is close to the Hyde Park parking garage, but if you are not parked there its not convenient. I'd like to go back and try something different, but overall a good little place this is great for lunch or a snack.

Just had yogurt.. It was creamier and I imagine it may have had more calories than its competition.. But it was affordable and tasty.
