It is no Pink Flamingo for breakfast! Had Eggs Benedict and Biscuits n Gravy...the Hollandaise Sauce on the Benedict was WAY too "lemony"...gravy was something with cut-up sausage links...biscuits were as hard as the pucks used in the previous night's NHL final (maybe the were the actual pucks!) On a better note...relatives enjoyed dinner a couple of nights before. Please consider using the same chef for breakfast...The Islands need you!

We visited Molly Malone's last week during their "soft opening" week. I felt the indoor area has too much open space for an "Irish pub", but we ate on the little patio and enjoyed it very much. The Guiness Stew was on the spicy side, but very tasty. We also liked the Fish & Chips kids meal (it came with really good quality orange juice, which I assume they use for their breakfast too). The blackberry vinaigrette that we had with our salad was awesome. Overall a nice casual place to have dinner or just a drink. We'll definitely be back.

I was able to experience this pub since it was one of our stops with the Florida bike tour. The place was well air conditioned and a nice relief from the heat. Considering we were a large crowd service was on point. We had a delicious Shepards Pie that was really meaty and flavorful. It's a good local hangout with ample parking and a good atmosphere.

Unbelievable worst service ever! 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee!! Yes, it is a Sunday, we got here at 10:27, got coffee at 10:48! It is NOW 11:12am and very crowded- so happy for them- but not to be prepared- if you want to stay a viable business - it is simply inexcusable AND unacceptable...this is real time and we already said something twice... 11:17am SO, question: when is it appropriate to be so disgusted, BUT u r quite hungry...too just walk out and leave????? TBC...

Zero ambiance and atmosphere, but good beer choices and not bad food. I had the corned beef and cabbage. Well above average.

Generally pretty lacking in flavor. Potato leak soup was bland and contained I think collard greens. Maybe they were trying to put a southern twist to this standard soup. Didn't work :-( Shepard's pie was bland and probably fresh out of the microwave (as evidenced by the temperature being roughly equivalent to lava). Wings were good but they are hard to mess up wings. Good service but we won't be back :-( sorry.

The best pint of Guinness in Tampa. Roasted chicken and potatoes is amazing. Really good pub.

Every time I visit this bar, I fall more and more in love with it. And, it is located on Davis Island, which is also an added bonus. The atmosphere is very laid back and casual. Yes, it is an Irish bar, but one of those that are not over the top and in your face. The owner, John Nolan, used to work at Four Green Fields and has done a great job making this bar his own. My friend's band was playing there tonight and it was fairly packed. Krissi, our server, did a great job of handling the crowd. She also was very sweet and was always smiling. I thought I had drank too much when I looked at my bill. My Magners Cider was only $3.50!! My friends' beer prices were just as low. When I was here last month, I ordered the Blue Salad and added chicken. It was made with Romaine lettuce, topped with apple, dried cranberries, blueberries, candied walnuts, and tossed in a homemade Vinaigrette. I am usually skeptical about ordering chicken when I dine out because it normally comes out too dry for my taste. Surprisingly, the chicken was very moist and the salad was very good. The serving portion was enormous and I was able to take some home and get two meals out of my leftovers. The Irish flag was a cute little touch too! Tonight I ordered the Pear and Arugula Salad and added chicken. This salad was a simple salad tossed in a homemade blackberry vinaigrette dressing topped with candied walnuts and shaved Parmesan cheese. I thought that surely they couldn't get it right with the chicken again, but it was perfect! The salad was delicious and I was excited to have leftovers again but the bestie's husband ate it when I was socializing and not paying attention! The bestie ordered the Guinness Onion Rings. I only had a small bite, but wow. They were delicious, as well! First downside to Molly Malone's is that it is located in a small plaza with limited parking (ergo, the four stars). The second is that there only one restroom for women and one for men. But, don't let that stop you from going, go because of the great vibe and the food is actually enjoyable here. Also, great place to watch sports with huge TVs!

Came here for breakfast when it first opened. We used to come here for breakfast back when it was the pink Flamingo and WOW we prefer it now. They retained a lot of the original staff. Dinner food here is good (Shepard's Pie, beef stew, Fish & Chips are all great but don't overlook the salads such as the Blu w/ Salmon), the atmosphere is super. One of the owners, John, is very personable & is all about talking to customers, although our party heard him yelling & talking down to the waiters & staff in the kitchen. Suppose it's part of an owner's job but it seemed unnecessary. After dinner, we moved to the bar where a nice young man named Broc took fantastic care of us, serving a great guinness. It is only beer & wine right now but we were told they would get their liquor licence soon. A+

Fantastic food, great live music and a warm and friendly atmosphere. John Nolan, the owner, rocks! We've been here for breakfast and dinner and both times had great service and food! We'll definitely be back...you should try it, too!

Refreshingly not dark stereotypical American idea of an Irish pub. This is clearly a place that locals frequent for good beer and decent food at a reasonable price. They do have 2 flat screen TVs in the bar area so we were able to catch the Seattle/SF NFC final while the usual Sunday evening musicians played traditional Irish music around a table in the dining area. This turned out to be perfect for our purposes-wanted to catch the game but not be caught up in a loud football-centric sports bar. If we lived in the neighborhood we'd probably pop in frequently. Solidly good and worth a try if you find yourself hungry or thirsty on Davis Island.

Good place to stop and watch the game or grab a beer or 4. Food was good bar food, but if you're a foodie looking for more than just a meal to tie you over for the game, I recommend eating beforehand and drinking here instead. I sat at the bar while what seemed to be an Irish band practiced and it was a great atmosphere. Seemed very local and fun. I must say the goat cheese appetizer was pretty good though!

Surprisingly great brunch for an Irish Pub... Good beer selection and a nice pub feel. There is a patio that is nice during the day or at night. Staff is always nice and attentive.

My first visit was as part of the urban restaurant bike tour. We were a large group. Wasn't sure what to expect and I was surprised. Great little Irish pub, cool hang out place. Tried the Shepherd's Pie I'm not usually a fan of but was blown away at how delicious it was. Fresh, flavorful, awesome. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

A refreshing take on the "traditional Irish pub" scene. Molly Malone's pours a perfect pint of Guinness, serves some great pub grub and there are plenty of real Irish accents around the place. On top of that, though, the place is spotless and feels brand new. They've got a big breakfast and lunch following I hear, and a great outside deck for these nice fall evenings. The beer selection is nice, with Cigar City on tap, as well as New Belgium. The smoked salmon spread, goat cheese starter and corned beef sliders are all great -- especially late in the evening! Toss in some great live rock and roll, played at a volume low enough to allow some conversation and you've got a Davis Islands winner. Don't miss this one next time you're in the area!

In Response To Anna, 2 Mths Ago.Entry, GOOD MEMORIES FROM THE UK THE PARKING IS AUTHENTIC. LIKE THE BREW AND CIDER. MUST TRY YOUR BREAKFAST.Cheers! Thanks For The Parking info. Been to the UK 6 times in the last eight years, my husband was born in England. He says, you Cannot Throw A Stone Without Hitting Pub. There's always the possibility, the Engineer/contractor who designed the parking lot, may have had a little too many? While sitting at the drafting counter, sorry... Meant to say, Drafting Table:-) honestly, when you're in the UK everything is"Pint Size", No Pun intended. You probably know this already but, just in case, some of your readers may not know. I was quite Amazed. Specially, growing up in South Florida, I our transit system is terrible the further south you go. Pretty much none existent. Even in Miami where it's so crowded you would think? The Metro Rail is a joke and the buses forget it. They'll find you melted on the pavement before the next bus. However, the transit system in the UK is really, really good. I was told by the locals, that's why they Drive, what they call "The Bubble Cars". True statement, and actually speed limits are pretty nonexistent, they do pretty good :-) :-)

The breakfast and lunch menu are identical to the old Pink Flamingo. John Nolan, the owner, has hired the cook from the Flamingo and a few of the servers too. Dinner is Irish fare and a bit more. The goat cheese appetizer should not be missed at dinner time. The interior is not styled as a traditional Irish pub entirely. It definitely retains a Davis Islands feel being open and bright as it is not only a pub, but a family eating place too. I enjoy the food, service and dedication to all things Davis Islands.

Great breakfast! Visit here twice a week and always consistent. Super omelets and one of the few places in town that can actually poach an egg properly. Very friendly faces.

Came here after a visit to the dog beach. I'm impressed. Four Green Fields is a special place for me, but this is now my close second for my Irish soda bread and fish n chips fix. Great service too. Also, I love a dog friendly patio!

From the moment I heard about Davis Islands getting an Irish pub, I was excited. As it turns out, the owner and a few of the staff are former Four Green Fields alumni, and are well-versed on traditional Irish brews and bites. They have a good lineup of beers, not too many, but a good selection (including Kilkenny, a new personal favorite). They also are skilled Guinness pourers - among the best in town. I tried their breakfast a few weeks ago; had the eggs benedict, and was very pleased with their product. Last time I was there, it was still just beer/wine, but their mimosa's were fantastic (and reasonably priced). The place itself is at the end of a non-descript strip mall, but they have a lovely (and shaded) outdoor patio and tons of parking. Inside, pictures taken by the owner flank the walls and restrooms (and are some very cool pictures). No TV's in this place, but they often have live music. They also host a traditional irish music session a few times a month - which if it's your thing, can be a lot of fun to watch. Slainte!

I Was visiting Davis Island and saw an outdoor Irish pub so took a chance and glad i did! The owners are from Dublin and could not be more friendly, genuine and great Irish accents to go along with it! Took a chance on the food and was extremely happy with it. Had the goat cheese appetizers and it was absolutely outstanding! The arugula salad was also amazing and reminded me of the salads I get at home in California. We went back for the breakfast and was blown away with the pumpkin pancakes...don't even need syrup! Never thought that a pancake could taste so incredible! My friend had the fruit salad and I was shocked at the artwork on the plate. The fruit presentation was spectacular but more importantly very flavorful! I Would highly recommend this place for the warm atmosphere, outstanding drinks and food. I was very impressed with the owners willingness to make sure that you are very satisfied with everything! I will be back!!
