McDonald's forfeits $300,000 to Offer Horrible Service! I am a very healthy eater, and always have been. My one vice has been McDonald's. Specifically, a Big Mac. Being a fellow Italian, I even have picture/magnet on my fridge of Jim Delligati - the creator of the Big Mac. As a child growing up in poverty, the one thing I looked forward to every Wednesday after school, was meeting my Nana outside of a Toronto McDonald's, with Big Mac in hand for me to take home and enjoy. The store located at: 117070 56th St. Temple Terrace FL (YES! The one that once served broken glass in their food!) Is the store specifically pointed in this scenario, although, poor service has been experienced at MANY of the Tampa area McDonald's. This is the closest store to my home, and is still a 15 minute drive away. 3 out of 4 visits at this location have been disgusting. NO exaggeration! They do not say 'Please', or 'Thank You', and rarely even get the order correct. Regardless of how sweet and pleasant I treat their employees! Well I've had enough! Today's complicated order was a Filet O' Fish (not fish filet as the employees call it), and a large fries. Complicated? They give me the fish sandwich, not just WITHOUT the extra sauce, but it was slopped together so poorly, that NOTHING on the sandwich lined up. Not even close! The cheese was 50% off the bun and stuck to the side container, the fish was in the opposite direction falling off, and the top bun barely touched any of it! Really?! How difficult is it? So I drove back the 15 minutes and went inside to get the proper order. NOT ONCE, DID ANYONE MUTTER THE WORDS; "SORRY ABOUT THAT!" I get an "oh" and the cashier went over to the manager to authorize the correction.. This was at 2pm on Sunday May 11th by the way. Yeah, Mother's day. My special treat! :( In addition, I requested another order of fries, as my previous order is obviously going to be ice cold after 45 minutes of my time AND GAS! They really should have apologized and asked, "..Is there anything else we can do for you?" The manager wanders right in front of me, and doesn't even look me in the eye. No apologies, NOTHING! 2 minutes later they hand me a bag with JUST the fries, and no sandwich! When I mention this to the manager, again, she does not say a single word to me, but turns to the cashier and blames her for not mentioning the sandwich! I stand there for two more minutes and take notice that NO ONE watched the cooks to make sure the order was correct this time. They didn't even check in the bag! NEVER AGAIN! When I have contacted head office 3 times in the past regarding the disgrace of this store (email read receipt for confirmation). Not once have I EVER been contacted back. I will NEVER go to another McDonald's, anywhere, ever! Over the next 60 years of my life, this equates to approximately $60,000! So far I have counted 4 of my friends that feel the same way, and will never return. This equals OVER $300,000! I won't stop spreading the word about this. What has this world come to? SHAME ON YOU DONALD THOMPSON! My MCD shares are now SOLD! CC: Fox Tampa, Tampa Tribune, Yelp By the way...at the bottom of their contact form I can only choose ONE option..."What would you have done instead"...well I did MOST of them, several time!

I would avoid this place during morning rush hour, afternoon rush hour, and late night weekends. Actually... I would just avoid this place in general. I shouldn't be eating this garbage anyway and the ridiculous wait at EVERY hour of the day makes me ponder why I am doing it even more. Service is hit or miss. I wish people at McD's would realize that being polite actually makes a difference sometimes. On occasion, they have been friendly but usually not really. The end.

I have been going through this McDonald's every workday morning between 7:00-7:45AM for about 4 months now. They consistently get my breakfast order correct, they always include the napkins, flatware, condiments etc. & there's that sweet Jamaican lady at the first window who always acknowledges you with her accented "Good mornin' dear!" I'm not sure how this place works during other times of the day, but during breakfast time, it cranks out food like a well-oiled machine.

Best McDonald's in the state of Florida if not the best in the United States. Yes they mess up orders, yes the restrooms look like a third world port a john, yes the workers may be rude but what do you expect they are underpaid and get harassed all day by people who put way to much care in a 1 dollar fish sandwich. Let's face it all McDonald's are gross, nasty and staffed by some less than Mensa level teen. You want to know why this McDonald's rocks? They still serve the original fried apple pies!! Yep, that's right deep fried apple pies!! Not sure why this is the only one I've ever found, but common McDonald's we are consuming a whole days worth of fat and calories in one meal you really think we want a lame ass baked apple pie? We can eat that anywhere and your baked apple pies taste like cardboard.

Considering its McDonald's and I try to avoid this place like the plague, I can't argue with the 24-hour drive thru and $1 large coke. When I have to go into work excessively early, they're pretty good about getting people through the line and on their way, because I'm assuming most of us are going to our jobs... Or so drunk that they probably shouldn't be driving anyway... Stay classy, USF. I did visit once and instead of coke they gave me Dr. pepper. Rude awakening if you're not expecting it! But I've not had any other issues.

After a night of beer, this seemed right. Did drive-thru. Ordered 3 cheese burgers and a 6 piece chicken nugget w/BBQ. Order went through fine and was ready relatively quickly considering the late night rush. Overall, for McDonald's this was decent. Everyone was really pleasant for a late night fast food drive-thru too!

So I came here one night before the drive home from USF and was really hungry so I stopped at this McDonald's and ordered some food. The order went through and when I got to the window they had my food ready they passed it to me and then I handed them my debit card and they THEN told me that it was cash only...with the food already in my hands, I could already smell my meal and was ready to eat it. The lady asked for the food back and I handed it back to her pissed and still hungry. While I was in line before I saw someone angrily speed off and I imagine it was for the same reason.

Conveniently placed McDonald's close to the highway and largely sized in & outside. We used the drive-thru and were served in ample time and our breakfast.sandwiches and iced coffees were nicely prepared. Only problem we found was that we had asked for ketchup and didn't find any in our take-out bags, so we had to drive around and walk in to get some...no packets available at the condiment/utensil area, had to wait behind ordering customers for an available employee to reach below the counter and hand me some.

  • Richard J.

The closest location to me that offers several burgers and sandwiches for $1. While the food is your typical McDonalds fare, the service tends to be on the poor side at times. Too often the cashiers are in the drive-thru window area yacking with each other while lines form waiting for service.
