Great pizza, cool building with high ceilings and exposed brick, they don't seem to mind if you sit around a while (then again it's a weekday at 3). A slice is a little pricey (3-4$), but cheaper than most of the strip-esque eateries round here. I saw an ad for $2.50 cans of beer but found only bottles within. Overall, good. Excellent, if you only care about the taste of the pizza.

This is the kind of pizza you order for your employees ... for a Friday "pizza party" that you don't tell them about.. leaving them to happen upon the boxes in the break room...and If they are ravenous enough.. They'll eat it... And hopefully quit the next day... Because you hate them. The crust is paper thin. The cheese is non-existent and at $32 for two large pies... This is a costly dinner mistake! There is nothing remotely Italian about this pie. Do yourself a favor and go to Costco, their slices are way better fare than this..

Only regret is that I can't give it ZERO stars! Total waste of time and effort. Rude service from operator on the phone as well as the driver. Took almost 2 freaking hours for the food to arrive at my hotel. When the idiot driver finally called me, I told him that my wife and I already ordered from another place 45 minutes ago (NY NY Pizza by the way) He goes "you want to cancel the order?" DUH!!! I have not the time nor patience for incompetence. All the time, I called the store so many times that they stopped answering my calls. When I told my wife to call on her phone, they answered right away. Hmmmm..... Do yourself a favor and stay FARRRRR away from this disaster. Oh, their prices were almost DOUBLED what we paid for at NY NY. The pizza from NY NY was good and it was hot. The Calzone was almost half the cost and was oooey gooey with cheese. 4 stars for NY NY Pizza. If Mama Rosa was alive, she would be ashamed of this place!!

I ordered the Jalapeno poppers, 10 BBQ wings, and 1 large cheese Pizza. the Jalapeno Poppers had bread crust on it that was soft and mushy. The wings did not have any kind of taste to them, they were very bland. The pizza looked like it had been sitting for a while, and the taste was very bland as well. I would not recommend this place.

Monday night delivery to Paddywagon's in downtown. Open till 3 a.m. So good we are ordering another. Parker and Tim introduced me to banana peppers and pepperoni pizza. Who knew? Such a good combo. It was a tasty New York style much better than chain. Check it out. The second pizza we got was a Hawaiian with pepperoni instead of ham and add jalepeno. Jenn didn't share any with me so it must have been good. They opened in August in what used to be Manhattan Pizza.

A little soggy, but not shabby. They delivered to my hotel is record time, and the price was just about right for what you get. I ordered the Hawaiian and thought the toppings were sufficient, the sauce was good, and the cheese just right. Again, my only problem was the crust was a bit more oiled than I'm used to (since I stopped ordering Pizza Hut years ago).

GROSS!! We have tried all the pizza places in Ybor and this is by far the worst! The dough is paper thin and flimsy with a sweet tasting sauce. The toppings were also scarce. 2 large pizzas cost $32 and was not worth the money.

I had a terrible delivery experience from Mama Rosa's, it took more than an hour to get delivered. Upon delivery, the pizza was completely soggy. I also ordered buffalo wings which didn't have any buffalo sauce on them. I was displeased with this pizza place in general.

For people who are planning to get food from Mama Rosa's and are looking at these reviews, pay attention to where the reviews come from. There are apparently several locations for restaurants with this same name and they quite obviously vary in quality! Last night I ordered from the one in Tampa and it was a little on the pricy side but really awesome. My husband and I ordered the meat calzone and the bianca calzone, respectively. Our calzones were big and hot and the cheese was melty and awesome. It was probably the best calzone I've ever had, not gonna lie. The marinara sauce that it came with was awesome too. I could tell that it was homemade. The costs are a bit higher than average (probably to subsidize their late hours of operation/delivery), but so is the quality of their food, so don't be afraid to order here.

Mama Rosa must be rolling over in her grave. This place makes pizza with a conveyor belt. Any pizza place with a conveyor belt does not deserve to be in business. In fact, Mayor Bob Buckhorn should propose a city ordinance outlawing being within six feet of a conveyor belt pizza place. So many New Yorkers down here, I find it hard to believe a pizza place on 7th Ave in Ybor wouldn't use a real pizza oven. I think it demonstrates how much they really value their business; pizza ovens are an expensive, but necessary, investment. Anyway, to the pizza. It was cold. It was actually cold. He did heat it up, but the inside was still cold. And it was floppy. Good pizza has a slightly crispy crust. Just crispy enough to maintain its integrity. Just crispy enough there's a little crunch when you bite in. This pizza had none of that. It was a big ball of sloppy grease. Furthermore, the slices were expensive. Try New York New York instead down the street instead.

Would give zero stars if I could. Pizza was delivered cold. And I mean cold. An hour later, at that. Had to do down stairs to meet delivery driver. I just paid you $2 to deliver. Making it a $23 order, you can at least bring it to my door. Phone operator didn't really know much. Just all around terrible. Don't waste your money, or effort trying to explain your order to someone who has no idea she even works in a pizza place.

If you want bad food from rude people this is a great place. I however would recommend eating the floor mat out of an 87 Honda Civic before you waste your time here. The best part is the condescending attitude you get when you ask why your order is wrong. If they slide a menu under your hotel door when you stay in Tampa do yourself a favor and slide it right back out into the hall.

Had a delicious pizza made by Jason. Loved the crust! Management was there and made sure we were well taken care of. Service was super friendly . Will definitely go back!!

If i could give this place negative stars i would. I TRIED to order pasta with a garden salad for delivery on a rainy Sunday. The order taker (who i assume was also the manager or owner) gave me the heads up that it would probably take an hour or so, which i said was no problem. it was about an hour and 15 minutes later that the delivery driver called me in the most rude and incoherent manner to the point all i could make out was that he was asking for the address again, which i provided. I tried to tell him the name of the apartment complex but he wouldn't listen. 10 minutes later he called again asking for the name of the apartment complex, I re-explained where to go and he said he was in the building and i said i would meet him downstairs in an effort to make it easier on him. 5 minutes go by; can't find him. I call him. He yells at me that he is in the elevator. I explain that's impossible as i just came down the elevator and he might be in the wrong building; i try to tell him that i will meet him and he keeps talking over me and not listening so i tell him he just needs to get to building 3 and hang up. 5 minutes go by he is not here. i call him. he is no longer taking my calls and won't pick up. I call the restaurant and i explain to the manager/owner that the driver can't find me but won't answer his phone and i placed this order 1 and a half hours ago. He yells at me that if i want to cancel then cancel and he hangs up on me. I try to call back to at least confirm a refund of the more than $25 order for pasta (which is ridiculous) and he will not answer my phone calls (he has caller ID and can see it is me). I get in my car and drive to Eddie and Sam's downtown and get the consistent good service that i am used to and delicious food and wonder why i didn't just do that to begin with. in Sum, this place is terrible and i will obviously never order from them again. I can only assume that i was saved from what was probably going to also be terrible food.

So if you late night order, this place is bastardized version of a clown college graduation ceremony. Don't think, for the love of ever being able to eat, that these suck wheels can figure out how to get an order to someone within 1:30. I would love to review the food, but it never goddam showed up. Absolute buffoonery.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever !!! I called and order a pizza for my hotel room. After 60 min , driver calls and asks " Are you gonna come get your pizza " Turns out HE went to the wrong hotel and then just drove back to the business. No follow up call , no " I am sorry , I am headed to your hotel right now " I even verified the address when I placed the order. Just rotten service

Sounds good, from the other reviews. They left a flyer under my door just TODAY promising late night food - open until 3am. It's not even close to 3 and there is no answer, with over an hour left until they "close" when I started calling. I'm so hungry, and this sounds good, but no answer. I would leave 1 star, but the other people mention the food is good - all I can value is my own experience. Sorry.

Cold food & the driver tried to add money to the bill to pocket. Didn't take being confronted on it very well either. Check your bill before paying

Ordered a pizza to be delivered to our hotel on hotel's recommendation. First mistake. Pizza arrived almost an hour later (was told 45 min tops) and was obviously cold. Our order was incorrect, they forgot (?) to put sauce on our pizza and apparently were running low on cheese. Who makes a pizza without barely any cheese, didn't want the vegan experience tonight!! Never again.

Pizza was incredible! Fresh ingredients and a fantasic crust. Owner; management and all of the staff were very attentive so nice. Great Ybor location and they deliver! Will definitely go back often.
