If you're in the area and looking for a delicious Sub sandwich I recommend coming here. The customer service is always pleasant. When you walk in your welcomed by a friendly staff. The meat and cheese are sliced right in front of you and the bread is baked fresh everyday. The sub's are always made fresh right in front of you and very filling. You can also call in your order before pick up or order online. MY FAVS: #43 Chipotle Cheese steak Sub: steak, grilled onions, peppers, and chipotle mayo. I add jalapeños for some heat. #9 Club Supreme Roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese, bacon, mayo and of course "Mike's way." I also add banana peppers and jalapeños for some heat. *Mike's Way: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, oil blend and spices.

This location is very convenient for USF students and healthcare staff at the local hospitals. It is also nice to have a USF discount, where you can save money by buying a sandwich, chips, and a drink. While the menu is not too extensive, what they have is very good. The bread always seems fresh, as do the ingredients. I like to order either the tuna, or the turkey breast and provolone. I like to get it "Mike's Way", which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions, spices, and oil and vinegar. My boyfriend really likes the #99, which is a cheese steak with roast beef, cheese, peppers, jalapenos, and chipotle mayo. The #99 is actually not on the menu, but we overheard an employee order it, and inquired as to what it was. Also, the staff is always very friendly and talkative.

Once you eat here, you'll never need to go to another sub shop again. With veggies sliced fresh daily, and meats and cheeses that are sliced right in front of you, you can know that the subs are as fresh as they come! Working there has made me realize how fresh everything actually is. We prep all of our onions, lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, etc. fresh and prep only the meats and cheeses that we will need for the day so that they are ready to use. We bake all of our breads and cookies the day that they are to be used, as well as make tuna and chicken salads fresh. Love the attention to detail, it makes me proud to work at a place like this. Several deals that are offered: Mondays: Medical Monday - $5.99 for a regular sub, with a chip and drink combo for all medical personnel All day, every day: USF students, staff and faculty with USF ID - $6.99 for a regular sub, chip and drink combo, or $9.99 for a giant sub, chip and drink combo. Military discount (current and veteran) - 20% USAA employees - 10% Non-USF students - 10% Plaza employees - 10%

I used to work here for four years. Everything from bread to lettuce to roast beef is prepared fresh daily. The tuna is so good, especially if you add bacon! The Cancro Special #12 is one of the best items (not on the menu). It's a featured sub with roast beef and pepperoni. A lot of the customers are regulars and the crew there gets to know them on a first name basis and will remember your order. It's pretty cool. The chipotle mayo and cherry pepper relish are so good on the cheese steaks too!

I love coming here. The workers are always friendly and want to strike up a sincere conversation with you. It's a plus that the food is fresh and delicious. I always get the giant club sub for a cold sub or the giant big kahuna cheese steak for a hot sub.

Like my Mother always said: "take big bites and swallow everything." Oh, wait - maybe those weren't Mother's words, still decent advice. Comes in handy, especially in a situation where there's a large meaty sandwich or crunchy veggie involved. - The Number 12: roast beef, pepperoni, and provolone ***Not on the typical menu, but too good not to ask for it*** - The Number 14: swiss, provolone, green bell peppers. I love adding the pepper spread in the mayo. Just the right amount of heat. All the meat is sliced when you order it. The bread is fresh. Toppings are simple and classic. I've heard from several hardcore cheese-steak lovers that theirs is phenomenal. ***Bulls Country, so get your discount with your ID.***

I'm glad I live within walking distance of Jersey Mike's, because parking in that clusterfluff of a parking lot on a Friday night is not worth the trouble. You know there's a parking problem when a strip mall has a valet service. But this Jersey Mike's has the misfortune to be sandwiched (yeah, I said it) between a sushi joint and a biergarten, with a popular Greek restaurant on the other end of the strip mall. Did I mention that this strip mall with three popular restaurants and a sub shop is only about 400 feet long? Perhaps I left out the part where it's within walking distance of the USF campus shuttle and within a mile of a thousand students or more. I choose to be vegetarian, so there's really only one thing I ever get here: a sub with lots of grilled veggies with melted cheese and some cold veggies too. And, yes, it can get a little bit soggy. But you know what? That's some fancy-ass Provencal French victuals right there. It's called pan bagnat. You schlep your Giant sub home, or what's left of it after you sacrifice half of it to your hunger, and you wrap it tightly in its aluminum foil, and you stick it in the fridge overnight -- preferably under a gallon of milk or something else heavy. In the morning, it will have metamorphosed into a new substance, an amalgam of cheese and bread and vegetables and all of it marinated in the juices. I'm thinking of getting hung over tomorrow morning just to cure it with this stuff. Whew, that's good.

It's a chain, but I think it's pretty close to actual Jersey subs. #7 is the turkey & provolone. It's my go to.

I had a great sandwich shop that closed awhile back and the italian was to die for!!! Jersey Mikes has the closest sandwich that compares to it. I always asked for spicy mustard on it and it makes a huge difference in an italian sandwich. When i go to jersey mikes the staff is always friendly and giving me tips on sandwiches and I love the fact that these sandwiches are cut to order and the bread is always fresh. They open at 10am and sometimes I find my self getting there right when they open just for the freshest bread available. This is by far my favorite sandwich shop around town and I'm sure will be a long life customer.

Good fresh subs at resonable price. I've eaten here for a long time and I have always enjoyed their food and service. Unfortunatly they were recently on dirty dining for live roaches seen in and around prep areas and coolers. I will be taking a break from them for a bit. But jersey miles as a whole is a great franchise.

Jersey Mike's Sub is my favorite sandwich store. Because they are the only one that carry hot ham (cappacuolo). I have looking for many places and try to buy and slice myself but was not successful. The cappacuolo here is bit spicy and is in good taste. I always orders my sandwich just cappacuolo, lettuce, tomato, and the secret ingredient - bacon!!! I like to order them in wheat bread and spice up my sandwich Mike's way - oil, red vinaigrette, salt, pepper, and mike secret spice. No other thing added such as mayo. This is YUM. The sub menu also has the club supreme, original Italian, roast beef and provolone, the super sub. Other than the sub I like above, I like the super sub which is No. 5 sub. Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo and I alway add bacon. This is the restaurant after I have greasy food the night before and I come here to redeem myself. Interesting to said I am redeem with two strip of bacons. Other than the cold sub, they also have hot sub such as Steak Philly, big kahuna cheese steak, meat ball, chicken Parmesan, Reuben , chipotle. Lake many sub store start adding the frito chip to create crunchy feeling. I think this direction has ruined many year of tradition.

I'm not sure why I haven't stopped by this little sandwich shop before. Perhaps because it's got Jersey in the name and nothing with the word Jersey in it has been appealing to me thus far. But boy was I mistaken. Their cheesesteak is DELICIOUS and it was prepared super fast- like Jimmy Johns fast. The employee who made my sandwich asked me if I was a college student, and though I fear I'm passed college age, he gets points for making me feel young again lol. Great food, friendly staff, right price. No complaints!

Best subs around hands down!!! The service is always super friendly and you can really tell that the associates/owners care about your experience. I would highly recommend... The only bad thing about them is that they serve Pepsi :( but it's due to corporate so we will forgive them :)

First off, I am not a "typical" sub person. I don't get into all the lunch meats like ham, or salami etc. I do like a good steak sub which is why I agreed to escort my wife here. It came suggested by my sister in law who swears by it. Staff was friendly. When we walked in, I right away announced it was my first time being there. I was assured that I was going to love it. Sadly, he was wrong! I decided to get the "giant" size sub. I knew I could have some for dinner and then finish it off the next day as a nice lunch. The giant subs are 15' long and cost around $11. Right away they messed up my order. The cook only made me a small sub even though the ticket clearly said giant. OK, no big deal. I always get BBQ sauce on my steak sandwich. They use Cattleman's. Not my first choice but hey - sauce is sauce. The biggest problem I had was that they do not toast the bread. So, when you ad the BBQ sauce and cheese, mixed with steak cooked on a grill - the bread get's VERY SOGGY, VERY FAST. Also, I got banana peppers as well as onions on my sub. They cooked all of that in with the meat. Not how I would have wanted it but I wasn't asked one way or the other. After all of that, the flavor was less than OK. The sogginess of the bread I think took away from having a good experience. Especially after spending over $11. I shall not be going back. I will stick to Firehouse or Philly Phlava. Never a bad experience their. I just thought I would try something new. I was very sorry I did.

Don't let the "Jersey" in the name dissuade you, no fake tans or tight tees here. This is an in & out sub shop. While it is a chain, it's a damn good one. They don't offer $5 footlongs because these sandwiches don't suck. Fresh shaved meats (sorry) & cheeses to order, every single sandwich is to your specifications for a pretty decent price. Do yourself a favor & give this location a shot, the staff is the nicest i've ever encountered.

Why are people who don't like "typical sandwiches" even reviewing this place? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they offer hot subs, but they're certainly not their forte. They ate known for their freshly sliced in front of you deli meats and cheeses. My favorite is really anything with their roast beef (but I'm known for getting a 9 with provolone). My boyfriend's sub of choice is the Italian. Friendly staff who gets to know you, super fresh ingredients, and a really great price for USF students!

Best Italian I've had in a long time! Seriously good sandwiches here! Friendly staff, clean environment (you watch them make your sub right in front of you), and a good selection of chips and drinks to go with your sub too! Discount deal for USF students! Great place for lunch!
