Came in early evening, and it was very slow. I ordered a draft miller lite and it was EXTREMELY cold! Perfect for the Florida heat. I ordered a southwestern burger which had grilled onions, barbecue sauce and cheese. The bread was amazingly fresh and toasted. Overall the burger was probably one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were not that great and you only get a small amount. Overall this is a really nice place to have a drink and some good food. Atmosphere is not that great if your wanting to meet new people and some lady had her small mutt dog in the restaurant which is not good for a restaurant atmosphere.

Popped in last night because I just moved to within walking distance of this place. Awesome atmosphere, super friendly staff, and good beers. Although I did not have anything to eat, the menu was creative and I am looking forward to trying it next time, which will be soon..

The baked Brie was delicious! Hubby also liked his burger. Skip the beer cheese, it had zero flavor. The staff was very friendly but the service was unusually slow to have only had one other table and a couple of people at the bar (who only appeared to be drinking). There are seats outside where you are allowed to bring your pets and they will give them treats but the way the patio faces it gets really hot in the afternoon/evening they could use a couple of those misting chillers out there, the ceiling fans don't quite cut it. All in all a nice new addition to the neighborhood that I hope continues to improve with time.

The servers are super friendly and the food is great! I have been a few times since they opened about a month ago and we have been very happy every single time. They've got football on the tv's and a pool table which is great for happy hour, but we've also gone for a relaxing dinner which is just as nice and cozy. They've got tables outside, too, for those of us that want to bring the pups! I highly recommend!

Finally a cool laid back bar in the town & country area! This place has alot of potential to be a pretty cool neighborhood bar as the atmosphere inside is very welcoming along with a very friendly staff. The main theme of this place are those cool looking Dachshund hot dogs which gives it a unique touch. passing by i saw people with their pups hanging out in the outside patio & enjoying beers which just proves that this place can be a sweet place to hangout and relax! We walked in on a lazy sunday afternoon and were stoked when we discovered they had $3 flat tire beers & $3 well drinks ... a steal of a deal! I ordered the burger with sweet potato fires which was ok but Holy Cow their pulled pork nachos are amazing!!! I love it when you get multicolored nacho chips which adds to the fun of the meal. By far this was the highlight of our order. Here they also specialize in hot dogs as they have a multitude of different hot dog options on the menu served with different various types of dressings. They even serve up a Chicago style hot dog served with the poppy seed bun that i will try next time. I loved the fact that they were playing beachy calypso music which gave it a key west relaxing type of vibe to the place. They also have TV screens behind the bar which helps makes for a great place to watch a local game! FYi - awesome hangout for dog lovers: "come bring your pet with you we offer seating outside as well as ice water bowls and homemade dog treats for your 4 legged friends!"

This place is tucked away in the corner of a southern country strip mall, is that a thing? Well they have hotdogs... And it is a bar... The wife and I had beer cheese and pork rinds for and apitizer. OMG that was good. I had the Chicago Shepard dog, whuchbis a traditional Chicago dog with the popi seed bun and sport peppers. Way good BTW. The wife had a build your own dog... She had just ketchup on it. You can get several different types of dogs. The menu has mor than dogs so check it out. This is the first trip here for us we we will check out more of the menu in future reviews.

Hubs and I stopped in tonight for a quick dinner. I was craving some good bar food and thought Dachshund's might hit the spot. The restaurant is huge and super clean....one of the cleanest bars we have seen. Our server was great...super friendly and served us quickly. We started with chicken fingers and each had a dog. I had the shih-tzu and hubs had the Chicago dog. The chicken fingers were great...although it's not terribly hard to cook chicken fingers, these were great! The shih-tzu was ok but the flavor combo was a bit weird. The Chicago dog was tasty. I wish they still had those waffle fries people posted pictures of! But the sweet potato fries were tasty. I would definitely go back to try the different dogs or some other items on the menu.

This place is fantastic. Everytime I come here they treat me like family. The food has always been great as well as having an awesome selection of beer. They have the best sweet potato waffle fries. Come visit with your pet and ask for Bruno, the resident dachshund!

I purchased a Groupon for this place. I also appreciate and support local businesses, but with that, I expect hot food and good service. Dachshunds fell short on both of these expectations. I will give it another shot, just because I understand they had just opened a new business and working out the kinks. But for now, I will wait.
