I visited this Chili's recently for a work lunch. The restaurant didn't seem busy at all, yet somehow the server shorted us a water and just couldn't manage to remember to bring it. I think we asked three times. The food did come out pretty quickly and everyone seemed happy with their meals. The California Grilled Chicken Flatbread was good.

Chili's took the Chicken Fried Steak off the menu! When I complained about it and ask the manager, Maggie, to forward my complaint, she said "They won't listen to me, I'm just an employee... if you want to complain about it, you'll have to call the corporate hotline".... YES she really said that. Please don't visit this or any Chili's restaurant, attitude towards customers is awful.

It all boils down to the service guys. You know Chilli's food, it's the same food as everywhere else with a different name. I just really like the service.

Where do I start? How about with Terrible service while sitting at the bar waiting. Here's a tip for the bartender - your freaking customers pay your salary. You aren't doing me a favor by waiting on me if that's what you call it - I'm doing you one by choosing to dine there. Had a coupon for free cheese dip for chips. Waited a long time for this to arrive - normally it happens immediately. And it was cold! I thought I should not eat this as there was beef in it. Hold that thought. Ordered takeout. Got a chicken salad and fajitas. The chicken on the salad and the chicken and shrimp were cold as well as looked like garbage. We couldn't eat it. Called the manager who assured me she would credit me back for the good yet credit card company said the entire bill is still showing in their system but full resolution might take 15 business days! Then the cherry on the top - at one AM I got awaken from a sound sleep to puke my guts out!!!! EPIC FAIL! And to think I used to like this faux Tex Mex spot. I'll remember the porcelain goddess experience if the thought ever creeps in to give them another try. And I'm sure my stomach will protest as well.

I live nearby and go here a lot. It's the best Chili's around! It really is. We've been to other locations and they just weren't as good. These guys have great food, drinks, food, and service consistently. I know it's a chain and people like to badmouth chains for some reason. I mean, if a restaurant is so good you can open another one in a different location it must mean you are doing something right, right? But again this particular location is a cut above the rest. It's very clean, usually busy and the service is really outstanding. We go here a lot for happy hour and get the homemade chips and salsa, combined with the drinks, aw forget it I'm going there right now!

This place is the pits. And I would give it a fat zero if I could. I decided to take a chance and use grubhub.com to place an order for delivery. I waited 1 hour and a half for food that was not only stone cold but wrong. I ordered the salmon dinner and the half rack ribs. I have never tasted more bland rice and broccoli, never had salmon so dry! I could have made a paste and spackled my walls with it! And I didn't get my mash side at all. The ribs were tough as tractor tires and dry. The loaded mash potatoes were as bland as anything could be and I am dubious that was even bacon, just a ground up pile of suspicious bits. And I did not even order the loaded mash. The ONLY shining star in the whole meal was the southwestern roasted chicken soup. With the exception of a rotting side of cilantro (or should I say a side of rampant ecoli?) and stale multi colored rectangles of elementary school construction paper looking strips that I presume was tortillas, the soup was quite flavorful. Must have been the cook from the previous shift who made that. When I called about my order I got a gum smacking rude teeny bopper who was about as knowledgeable as a rock. So my suggestion; do NOT go to this location. Unless you want to remix your entire meal to make it palatable. And the sierra mist was hot enough to steep a brisk cup of tea in. But at least it wasn't flat.

Love chili's but tonight worse experience ever. The service was awful and when the food finally came it was cold. Had to ask for everything. Really? what has happened to customer service? Tired of trying to treat my family to a nice meal without a hassle

A typical Chili's..Nothing really unique about it. Pretty good deals on drinks and food during NFL games. Usually it's the service that can be lacking in these chain restaurants, but I've never had an issue. In fact, my server has always been pretty friendly and attentive. Their iPad table check out system could certainly use some work. It seems have issues every other visit for me ( although technology always seems to blow up on me so it's probably just me. ). I could see myself coming back for a quick bite to eat during a game.

I visit here occasionally, but this is the first time that I've remember to Yelp it. I was surprised to see that they've remodeled the inside, it looks really nice. They also have these interactive tablets on the table: You can play games, you can pay your bill, you can even re-order your drinks, heck! You can even read the USA Today headlines. The menu is also sort of new with new sandwiches, new salads and what have you being added. I ordered my new favorite salad: The quesadilla salad. in essence a chicken salad with corn salsa & a 3 cheese quesadilla. It's very tasty. And by checking in with 4 square (Yes I use it too) i was able to get a free order of chips & salsa. The service was Ok. Not fast, not slow. And no one told me what the tablet was for or how to use it, I just figured it out on my own. It would have been nice if someone had shown me how to use it. Over all, I'd come back.

Had lunch with coworkers on Friday, not impressed and will not come back, actually non of us will. Service wasn't too bad but the food took over 1 hour and they weren't even busy for lunch time. Once the food came out it was wrong and had to be corrected was like $50 for all four of us and just don't understand why they were so slow, I guess should of noticed since they were dead its for a reason. Most places at 12pm are packed and reading some of the reviews on here indicate there not doing well. Same yourself not being late back to work and go some place else.

They've totally remodeled & now you're served in partners. They also have they new "tablets" on the tables to pay your check with a credit card or reorder drinks. I understand why they aren't setup to order food but I think it would be better if you could also order a side of "honey mustard" or more napkins or let them know you're food is cold. I'm always a fan of their chips & salsa and their atmosphere.

Tonight we decided to dine at Chilis for a birthday celebration. Our server was fantastic, however, our experience at Chilis was far from good. We ordered chips with salsa and queso. It took an hour to receive our queso. Our sliders meal was missing bacon. We've been here for an hour and a half and not once have we seen the manager. Our server let us know that the manager would be taking our queso off our bill along with giving us one free dessert. We will not be returning to this Chili's.

"Where's my veggieburger? - I don't know. - I don't know. Was that a veggieburger? The sh*t tastes just like meat. You greedy bastard. You ate it! Which one of you f@cks ate my veggieburger? That sh*t's not funny! I am the vegetarian!" GRIDLOCK'D I have had a few of my veggieburgers stolen here! Technically a black bean burger, this is a pretty good vegetarian option. As far as veggie burgers go, Chili's has probably one of the better ones in the chain restaurant world. The patty holds up well against the toppings, and Chili's has a good selection to choose from. All of there regular burgers can be made with a black bean burger. Had a chance to visit this location and had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, black bean burger served with sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, mayo, shredded lettuce, tomato and pickle. Sat at the bar for a quick bite on the way out of town, service was great. Two for one Happy Hour made it better! Quit stealing veggie burgers, that sh*ts really not funny!

What do you really need to say about another mediocre chain restaurant that hasn't been said. They have the obligatory deals, but the service and food here leave something to be desired. My last (and last ever) visit here, I sat down at the bar, and after a few minutes the bartender got me a drink, and I asked for a menu. Got the menu, and couldn't decide, but finally figured a pizza would hit the spot. I ordered it, and the response was - oh yeah, we're out of all of those, you need to pick something else, and walked away with no apology. Granted its Chili's, but when you are working for tips, you should at least give average service.

I don't know why I went here, I absolutely hate corporate restaurants like this. This experience further proved that. For appetizers we ordered Queso and Chips and Salsa. Some of the chips were stale and all of them were over salted. The salsa was cheap and flavorless and the Queso was a horrible color and poorly spiced. For lunch I had the Chicken Tacos with rice and black beans. The tacos were OK but nothing great. The rice and beans were inedible, stale, and clearly had been sitting in the steam table for quite some time. My brother got the same thing and agreed it was gross. My uncle ordered a Cobb Salad with Grilled chicken and had to send it back. The chicken was so over cooked it was dried all the way through and black on the outside. As for service it was no better. The waitress took forever to bring drinks and whenever we needed something it seemed like she was purposely waiting in the back before returning. The place was not busy at all so there truly could be no excuse. This lunch reassured me that corporate is another name for crap.

How many servings of silverware does it take to get 1 clean fork?? We were at this Chilis where the silverware is wrapped two forks and a knife in a napkin. It took at least 6 sets (that's 12 forks) to find one clean fork.

Chili's is a corporate type chain, but the at Memorial and Hillsborough Ave has a GREAT staff. They are always very friendly. I normally always sit at the bar, since the bar serves free chips and salsa. Two for one draft beers, and house margaritas are a bonus as well. However, I'd definitely go for the Presidente Margarita which is their specialty. You can get it flavored with a variety of fruit juices such as strawberry. You can't go wrong with their Fajitas either. In fact, I'd say that's one of the things they do better than just about anyone else. It's very consistent, and very tasty. I can't say I've had a bad fajita there from Texas to Tennessee to Florida. I'd add a side of salsa to layer on my fajita if I were you, but then again, that's my taste. For lighter fare, if you want fajitas, but without the bulk, ask for a Fajita Pita. It's not on the menu anymore, but they'll still make it if you ask. Perfect for a lunch-sized portion. For dessert, I recommend the Molten Lava Cake. It's about 1200 calories of heated chocolate cake and ice cream heaven covered with a Magic Shell type chocolate. Mmm.

I usually really like Chili's but I was a little disappointed when I recently stopped for dinner at this location. Being from Texas, I was excited to order a real southern style chicken fried steak. I know Chili's does not use the frozen processed patties like many of the other places do here in Tampa. When my partner and I got them they were raw in the middle. I normally would send it back but ironically just had a conversation at work about the things that happen at restaurants when people complain about the cook and send their meals back for that extra special ingredient. Instead, I decided to voice my complaint when the waitress came to clear the 2 plates with sections of bloody steak still on them.

Will never eat here again! My daughter and I went to dinner and her meal came out after I had eaten mine. The manager was suppose to come to our table and never did. Very poor service and management!

Went to chilis for lunch, it was busy but not overly packed. The staff was attentive, matter of fact they went out if their way to make sure we were comfortable, food was what you'd expect for chilis so just ok. I got the mango tea which was just plain weird, switched it up for blackberry and that was better!! Overall a good experience.

What happened to Chili's !!!??? I used to love Chili's up in New York. Their food was always good and consistent and their service was great too. Everything changed since I moved down to Florida. This is the second Chili's location I tried in Florida. The first one in Clearwater was really really bad. This place was not as bad as the one in Clearwater but still not good at all. The mango iced tea the waiter recommended me was so light...couldn't taste anything. The beef fajita I used to love came out with such a small portion and it was just miserable looking at it. All I can say is that even the same chain restaurants can be totally different depending on their management and quality control.

I had a gift card for here so free food is well, free food. I went here for lunch two separate times. I got the California club and it was alright. Not the best sandwich in the world but it could be a lot worse. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and that was much better. Onion strings weren't good but it was free. Wait staff was very nice but I'll go when I get a gift card.
