Best bagels in town! Perfect bagels and cream cheese. My favorites: salmon on an everything bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese or Leonardo de Veggie on an everything bagel. If you prefer sweet flavors, the strawberry or honey cream cheese are awesome. Awesome friendly staff.

I am used to my NY/NJ bagels so the bagel itself was just okay but great customer service. The location is also a bit of a pain because there is no private lot, only street parking available.

I enjoyed my Herby Turkey that I ordered on a jalapeno bagel but it didn't knock my socks off. It was definitely a nice size sandwich for the price. They also handled the lunch rush well. The line moved pretty fast for starting out the door. I also really enjoyed my coffee. My friend however ordered the Thai peanut chicken bagel and it looked downright gross. It had like 2 solid inches of cream cheese and the chicken looked like frozen tofu. I'm always that person at the table that likes to try a bite of everyone's food (especially when it's my first visit) but I wanted nothing to do with that sandwich. She ate it but not sure she really liked it. She did however really enjoy the tomato soup. I'll definitely give this place another try, especially for a breakfast bagel.

Far and away the best bagels in Tampa, period. The staff knows how to do it right. Everything is done your way with fresh ingredients. I recommend the lox sandwich on an everything bagel with bacon/scallion cream cheese and pickled onions.

For Florida bagels, this place isn't bad. Haven't found any other bagel shops in Tampa, so I'll probably be back when I'm in the mood. Don't expect the same quality as a New York/New Jersey Bagel.

3.5 stars really. I'm rounding down though because I can't bring myself to give them a 4 any more than I can bring myself to give Einstein's or Panera or any other place that says they sell bagels but really just sell round bread with a hole in the middle. Was here the morning of Gasparilla to try to get some food in my system before the festival began (it didn't help). Had an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and a hot tea - also got a salt bagel to munch on when II got hungry later. The bagels were good. Problems were two-fold; first, as usual, they were only seeded on one side. Pathetic. I hate throwing this out there, but I worked in a bagel store on Long Island for 4 years in high school. You boil the bagels, then you lay them on a rack and seed them, you flip them over, and seed the other side, and bake. Yes, when you flip them in the oven, you lose some seeds, but the bottom should not be bare. I do not want to buy an everything bagel that's 1/2 everything and half plain. I am not splitting a pizza here. Second problem is they weren't good thick bagels like you expect of a NY bagel. They were kind of thin. So, bagels are 3 stars at best. Good. But far from great. I give them 1/2 a star more because they use quality hot teas. I don't remember the brand, but the tea was really good. Thankfully, they don't use garbage. Not included in my rating (it would be lower if I did) because my girlfriend got it, not me, is the fact they microwave their eggs. You have a kitchen - why don't you have a griddle for fresh cooking eggs? If I want a microwaved egg sandwich, I'll go to dunkin donuts. A 4 or 5 star breakfast sandwich would be cooked fresh to order in a skillet or on a griddle. Not nuked. A reasonable place for breakfast in downtown Tampa, but don't go in looking for NY quality.

3.5 but I have to round down instead of up because they microwave their eggs for the egg sandwiches here. They have a good assortment of the usual suspect bagels. They also have an assortment of different flavors of coffee. I really like that they have a comfortable sized cafe area with several tables and booths, for sitting down and reading a paper or playing/working on your computer. you dont feel like youre sitting on top of people. Lots of windows makes this cafe a bright way to start of the morning. So as great as the setup is, I just find it unacceptable to have a bagel place microwave their eggs. I can imagine that this place is slammed with people from the nearby businesses during the morning hours, but even the smallest places in NYC and Atlanta cook the eggs on the grill. Maybe Im expecting too much from Tampa though. Service was prompt and friendly. It is a better option than going fast food for breakfast.

Good location and a large selection of breakfast options. Only stopped in here once to grab something to go, so can't say much. But service was friendly and quick, just what I needed. I got a classic wrap that contained two eggs, cheese, and sausage. It was good but not amazing, but then I did order something on the plain side. I like that there is an ample seating area as well. Would come here again if I'm in the area, but I'm trying my best to avoid returning to Tampa.

I loved my smoked salmon cream cheese, capers on a jalapeño cheddar bagel... Thank you for a salivating breakfast !

Pluses: quick, convenient, friendly disposition of staff, fresh ingredients, make it your way, PASTRIES, decent sized sandwiches, day old-bagel offerings, soul, reliable, call ahead ordering, self-aware (not pretentious) for a downtown establishment, and just overall what's needed in local fresh sandwich/wrap fare. Minuses: closes too early, gets crowded by 1130, I can't have everyday (my fault I don't live downtown), No delivery, no bulk deals, and no good combo deals (which is why no 5-star rating). Also, took away my 3-for cookie deal (they know what I'm talking about). Other than that, go check them out! What are you waiting for?!

No one on here is talking about how good their salad is for $5.29. A great, freshly made salad, with really good dressing! A price that cannot be beat for a Downtown Tampa location!!! Their soups are great also. This is one of my "go-to" lunch places. I am so grateful it is here downtown. Little known and underestimated. I highly recommend.

Always been my favorite bagel place since I discovered it in college. I'm obsessed with their rosemary and olive oils bagels. I even buy the day old ones to take home. I have never found this bagel anywhere else.

This is by far the best bagel shop in Florida !! I moved from New York to Florida for 5 years ago and have not found anything close to NY bagels until I found this place !!

Great bagels. Great enough to deal with the hassle of parking downtown. Bakers dozen is $7.99. Can't really best that price for the quality of the bagels. I recommend the jalapeño cheddar bagel or the asiago bagel. Both are great

Awesome to find a good soup sammie or bagel downtown. This is a sure spot to visit but the lines can get long around the lunchtime rush, so plan ahead. Seating is comfortable and wraps around onto the Jackson St side. It was nice to find a bagel and lox with a soup. They make it to order, so think of it like Panera with some more tailored fixin's.

Friendly manager always working hard and making customers happy! They have great soup for rainy days and punkin coffee oh yeah! What more could it ask for. Plus they have bagel specials when you order half a dozen or full dozen around lunch time on Wednesday!

Had never seen this name before as I got off the bus along the Marion Transit Center in Downtown Tampa yesterday morning. They are right on the corner with a handicap ramp. This is the Subway assembly line adapted to breakfast bagels served all day. A pleasant order-taker and preparer was patient with me as I scrutinized the menu, settling for a ham and swiss cheese garlic bagel. These are $3.99 no matter what you load them with. Served in a small basket, wrapped and sliced in half. Came to $6.18 with a small decaf. The coffee condiment station is a Starbucks clone, with jugs of milk including skim. Among lunch items offered are soups, salads and wraps. There are several plush seats behind a divider along the order area, offering a panoramic view of the downtown ambiance, plus three outdoor tables with seats. No parking here, pedestrians only. Another attendant wished me a nice day as I was leaving, an always appreciated customer service plus.

Stayed in a hotel downtown for a night and walked around downtown on a beautiful Saturday morning. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a blueberry bagel. Definitely an amazing breakfast. Very fresh bagels all around.

Consistent franchise bagel place. I stopped in on my way to work and picked up the same exact breakfast bagel sandwich that I ate 100s of times while in college at Arizona St. If you've been to a Bruegger's before you know what you're in for, and if not it's comparable to an Einstien's, and if you haven't been to either bagel place.....CONGRATULATIONS you are super hip because you've avoided chain restaurants all costs.
