My favorite bbq in South Tampa. The sauce is rich and spicy. The ribs are fall off the bone tender and so flavorful, they don't need sauce. The sides are always delicious. Love this place.

I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and it was just ok. It was chopped up into small bits and was kind of dry and I was picking out cartilage and bone as I was chewing. The sauce was pretty good, but it is a basic place.

this place is good as fuck. their ribs are out of this world. tender, flavorful, and HUGE. the pulled pork melts in your mouth. it comes mixed with sauce, which i'm into. employees were nice and prices weren't bad at all, especially considering the amount of meat you're given (a lot!)

This place is hit and miss. The BBQ ribs can be good if you get them fresh, but these guys aren't above giving you the dry, stiff slabs that have been hanging around too long. The BBQ beef is dry and flavorless, only edible if swimming in sauce.

Finally Oh my God FINALLY! Growing up in the South one is privileged to mouth watering BBQ. So I moved to Phoenix for a couple years and drove all over town for some good cue - never found it. Everyone who wants lame bbq go anywhere that smokes it. Smoked BBQ is not even worth the drive - if you want real BBQ find an open pit where the cue is kissed by the flame, where they slop sauce on it with a mop (Dreamland -Tuscaloosa/Atlanta) (Big John's Alabama BBQ - Tampa) and then and only then will you have found real cue. Not sure if Big John's uses a mop or not but finally I have found great tasting barbecue. I had the 3 meat combo, chopped outside pork, ribs, sausage. (I mean I had to try everything, well almost everything) The greens were awesome, great sweet tea, but not a fan of the beans (too sweet) - will get the reco mac and cheese next time - which might just be today :) Again this place is not the cleanest, no wait service, you order at the counter, wait for your meal to be prepared and then eat off of styrofoam plates - I didn't like this part but whatever I finally found some great pit fired bbq. The sauce is def different than I've had before. Tangy - can't stand sweet sauce - but a diff tangy, just a kiss of bite. Cash only here. Update - no longer cash only.

Get ready for some good ol southern BBQ. My partner loves the collards. Definetly try it, this place beats most BBQ in town.
