Tried this place recently on account of a flyer in the mail. Once I called n placed my order I had a good feeling about this place, the guy who answered had an Italian accent like what I'm accustomed to back home. Ordered my usual ( Sicilian str8 up ) and opted to have it delivered which unfortunately took over an hour. However once I received my box of delicious looking eye candy the angst of waiting evaporated. Good crust light well balanced sauce with low acidity ( aka low agada occurrence) and a generous slathering of creamy moozaell with a touch of goodness that unfortunately only us Italians can provide. I was very impressed and elated to find another pizzeria that serves the pizza I grew up back on LI. Angelo and his staff very friendly and will treat you like famiglia.

Was looking for real NY style pizza and I think I've found it. The crust was crispy and thin. Great flavor but I would of liked to taste more sauce on my pizza. Hands down one of the best cannoli I've had in a long time. The owners where super nice. We will definitely be back. I do wish you could have a cold beer there with your meal. This might become a Friday night thing for us.

After your first slice you are sold. Trust me this is the best pizza place in this part of town. I'm not one to be big on franchise and chain pizzas. I like authentic and if you are in this part of town you shouldn't waste your time with any other place. Hand tossed, oven baked.

It was a rainy night and after being out and about, we opted to spend some time out of the rain. Pizza and a movie sounded good to me, while remaining dry on the couch. My friend had ordered from Anthony s before and was singing it's praises. Okay, I was in, I love a good pizza ( I really, really do). So we called and placed our order to have the pizza delivered. We settled in with a glass of vino and started the movie. About 40 minutes latter our tums were making audible hungry sounds. We smiled, tried to wait patiently and concentrate on the movie. Finally the door bell, YEAH PIZZA. It was warm, but not really hot, but at this point we didn't care. The pizza was full of fresh toppings, both meat and veggies, which tasted great. Their sauce has a nice hearty texture and taste, not too acidic. I prefer a thin and crispy crust and this was a thicker, hand tossed pie. Overall it really had a fabulous flavor, unfortunately the crust was not cooked all the way through, so it was a bit doughy and chewy. I think too many people had the same idea we did, to stay in out of the rain. We were hungry and even with the crust it satiated our hunger for pizza. I would have given it 4 stars, if the crust had been fully cooked. Back to the movie and wine. What's a girl to do? I am still in search of the perfect pizza pie.

I wish I had tried their pizza sooner! This is possibly the best pizza in the area, and even the best-ier garlic knots. Amazing, and it definitely blows the chains out of the water. So. Good.

Had pizza by the slice in several visits; exceeded expectations. Consistently good! Slices are extra large and Anthony uses good ingredients.

Recently moved to the Citrus Park area and have been trying the local pizza places. Being from the Northeast I'm usually skeptical when a place calls itself "New York Style". I ordered a large pie with pepperoni, sausage, onions and mushrooms. When I picked it up, I met the owner Vinny. Very friendly, the pizza was ready and piping hot. After the first slice, I can say that the pizza is the real thing. Sauce, perfect! Toppings, excellent (not the cheap stuff). Cheese, just the right amount. Overall, outstanding. No need to try any other places. I'll be back for more.

All New Yorkers who read the "New York Style" sign will squint. We've played this game before with chinese food, hot dogs, bagels and of course pizza. Most of the time we walk away disappointed and betrayed. The "New York Style" is a lot to live up to because New Yorkers are really spoiled with cheap, delicious food. We have a lot of strong memories tied to food and we know what tastes like home. Anthony's pizza tastes like home. It was nostalgic to eat a New York pizza again. Not the best from home, but New York has a large range of pizza quality. Regardless, Anthony's pizza is what you can expect from a pizzeria in a corner of New York. Another great thing is they tossed the pizza in front of me and made it fresh. Anthony is representing and I'm sure a lot of ex-New Yorkers are grateful. I, for one, will now be ordering from Anthony's instead of the nearby pizza chains. Be warned New York Style pizzas have a very thin crust, a layer of oil, and Anthony's serves it fresh and hot. Don't burn your leg or your tongue when you dive in.

Extremely tasty and very friendly service. They have a lot of loyal customers because it feels like your neighborhood pizza joint.

Wings weren't particularly tender- a bit chewy and dry. Decent pizza. Nothing special about the crust. Ok flavor.

Me and my Hubby absolutely love this place! So yummy! They have amazing pizza! He's super picky when it comes to pizza since he is from New York. So he was definitely impressed. We like to share a large pizza and sit outside and relax. The service was great.

Ordered from Anthony's for the first time and could not be more disappointed. Everything that I ordered had to be "Dr'd" up and recooked, except for the dessert, nothing could be done to save that. Both Stromboli's that I ordered were completely undercooked on the inside and falling apart. The Ricotta Bruschetta bread had only 2 pieces that had Ricotta cheese on them, and all of them had soggy tomato pieces falling off. For dessert, I ordered the carrot cake, well I was told it was carrot cake, to me it tasted like play dough. I'm not sure where they get their dessert sent in from, but they should check out other options. I think it's safe to assume I will not be ordering from here again.

Tried this place for lunch. It was quick, friendly, tasty, and a good price. I definitely will return. The staff was informative and approachable. The slices were a good size for the price. The dining area was clan and looks nice. The lunch specials had a good variety.

My husband and I love this pizzeria. We are from up north and everything up north taste so much better. Therefore here in Tampa we searched for a good pizza place. We tried this place a few months back and have been hooked it's the best pizza here in this area. It reminds us so much of home. I would recommend this place to anyone in search of a real New York style pizza!! Best place friendly staff love it!

We read the reviews and figured we would try the pizza since we love NY pizza. The slices are huge and the pizza is great. Highly recommend trying this place if you like pizza. One slice was plenty for each of us. We WILL be back. Yum!!

This place has DELICIOUS pizza but I gave it 3 stars because there delivery time is ridiculous. Over an hour to get a pizza delivered and I live 5 minutes away.

Thank God I found this place!! Great slices, good hand tossed crust, good ingredients used. The 18" pizza is what I think of when I think of a pie. I'm from Philly and love my Northeast Pizza (Jersey, NY, Philly) and this is as close as I have found to home. Good people and great garlic knots! I don't think I'll order chain pizza again.

We were craving a change from our usual pizza night and had driven past Anthony's numerous times. We decided to try them out but were discouraged by the difficulty in finding a menu. I would have been much quicker to select them if they had their menu posted online. Needless to say, my husband drove to the shop and picked up a menu so we could look it over before ordering. Once we got our pizza we were not disappointed. It is your typical pizzeria pizza which is harder to come by than you may think. I look forward to trying their sandwiches and/or calzones in the future. Anthony's is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. :)

Have you tried the Slice? It's Gigantic...I went there today for Lunch and the owners were very friendly. I ordered two slices but was advised to order just one by the owners. They weren't kidding...it's real authentic taste...i love that I was able to fold my pizza like its suppose too....The best $3.00 w/tax for a Slice of Pizza I have ever spent......I would definitely recommend this place. Please support your local businesses and keep good food in our neighborhood...
