The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly! I order from here all the time and they never fail to impress! My favorite dish is the bruschetta chicken. Their brownies are seriously addicting and go great with their cafe con leche. Whether you're having a working lunch, stopping in for a quick bite or ordering for an entire office, I highly recommend Angelo's!

Nice to have another quailty deli in my lunch rotation that is conveniently located for me. When I told the pretty young lady at the counter that I had literally driven by this deli 2,000 times before Yelp convinced me to stop and check it out, she wasn't suprised and simply said, "People drive by too fast!" Well, it is Dale Mabry and none of us want to be on that road any longer than necessary. I enjoyed a very tasty Cuban sandwich (although they do lose points for making it with mayo since that is NOT authentic) on high-quality bread, served with a smile and for only $5.99. There are a plethora of other enticing breakfast and lunch sandwiches to choose from and apparently that hot counter of goodness just left of the cashier starts around 11am. I saw chicken parm, lasagna, empanadas, stuffed potato balls and it all looked hot and fresh. Comfortable interior that is exceptionally clean, no parking issues at all and the menu selection is rather impressive. I'm also guessing Angelo's is an unbelievable caterer...so keep that in mind as well.

Great service and always full of regulars. I come here for lunch about once a week with some work friends for the Cubans (we have even pronounced Wednesdays as Sandwich Day). They have a regular size (which is huge) and a large (which is GIGANTIC). I've never had anything other than a Cuban sandwich, but they also have a hot buffet of rice, beans, meats, and veggies that always looks tempting. The atmosphere is just really inviting and everyone seems happy here. There are usually several tables full of adorable old Cuban men, too. Makes it feel all the more authentic. :)

Everything at this place is amazing. Can't go wrong, with anything they make. The Black Beams and rice are the best I have ever had, and Arlenes at the front counter provides great customer service. Try the flan.

Update to my original review..... Angelo, the owner of Angelo's Deli Café, sent me a note after my initial review, thanking me for my comments and inviting me to stop in and try his version of a Cuban sandwich. Since I drive by his deli a few times each week, it was easy to stop in for lunch and taste this legendary Cuban sandwich. Angelo's is truly a family-run business with his wife and Mom working the front counter, while he's in the back preparing the meals. The place fills up very quickly at lunchtime with the local crowd from area businesses stopping in to see what the specials are on the steam table, or to place their order for a sandwich. I noticed that the Cuban was a preferred choice for many of his customers and so I placed an order for a fully-dressed Cuban to try one for myself. The first thing you notice with this sandwich is that it is pressed with the bread being perfectly crunchy on the outside, yet still warm and soft on the inside. The combination of pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and mustard is delicious. You get a satisfying crunch from the first bite, followed by the blending of all of these incredible flavors. Unlike a lot of places, Angel has chosen to use shredded pork, so the meat is very tender and juicy, and that adds another dimension to the party in your mouth. I really liked his sandwich right down to the very last finger-licking bite! Since I obviously looked underfed, Angelo brought over a slice of his homemade tres leches cake and insisted that I enjoy some dessert. Tres leches cake is basically a sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk: evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream, and then topped with whipped cream. The cake was surprisingly light and very delicious. If you love Cuban sandwiches then I recommend that you stop in one day and give them a try. Angelo's is only open Mon - Fri from 7am - 3pm, so please plan accordingly!

Went there for a quick lunch, so I tried the lunch special for $6.99. Great price. I had the Tuscan chicken with rice, broccoli. The only thing good I had was Angelo's special sauce which was a very good red hot sauce which I layered over everything. Tuscan chicken and rice was awful with no taste and with uncle Bens type rice...that is sad for a Latin diner. The broccoli was burned and again, no flavor. I threw the sauce on everything to compensate. No service and counter staff had a stoic uncaring attitude. Never again. The sliver of bread was already buttered and....rubbery. Btw, one star was for the hot sauce.

This place is seriously good. I used to order in breakfast and/or lunch 2-3 times a week when I worked nearby. A place that will deliver breakfast? I love it! All the food is great-omelets, burgers, wraps, Cubans, etc., and the portions are plentiful. Fast & friendly delivery.

Loved my chicken quesadilla. Super filling and tasty, couldn't finish it all. I think this place is a pretty affordable, convenient, and great lunch stop. It's not much to look at on the inside but their menu is stock full of possibilities and I need to get back to try some other items they have on the menu!

I haven't been here in years. I ordered the Philly cheese steak with grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms. Hate to say I was really disappointed! The Cuban bread it was served on was delish, but the sandwich had very little meat and no real flavor. Westshore is only a block away and their cheese steak is Great. The Deli was clean, obviously many regulars sitting around and the lady at the counter was very personable. They had the biggest fresh baked muffins (3 varrities), I believe I have ever seen! I bought one and brought it home for breakfast tomorrow. That is when we will reveal the muffin taste test (is bigger better?). As far as the sandwich, which was recommended by the woman behind the counter along with the Cuban. The price for the small Philly was the same as Westshore's and much smaller and way less taste. I am sorry to write this review. I want to give it a try for breakfast and even their Cuban, maybe then I can give them a star or 2 more. What's a girl to do? I just taste the food I order and let you know the results!

For the last 6 years I have gone to Angelo's Deli Cafe as often as possible. I have ALWAYS been delighted, happy and more than pleased. The food is GREAT, the people are KIND and the owners, Angelo and his wife, GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to make each and every customer happy, even though you can't make everyone happy. I recommend them to everyone going that way. Service, good food and great prices will bring you back time and time again. Keep up the AWESOME work guys, you deserve your kudos. Renee

So...I haven't been here in a while, but it was horrible. I just ordered a fish sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. They always had the best Cuban sandwiches. Today, the Cuban had no flavor at all and my daughter said her fish was rubbery! How disappointing!

I've been here a couple times since it's close to my work and a convenient option that isn't fast food. My experiences before today have just been meh. Today I was very disappointed with the service, quality of food, and price for the quantity. Only the plantains were edible. Now I'm stuck at work, hungry, and out over $7 for garbage. I won't be back.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Tampa. What a gem. Friendly staff and a clean comfortable atmosphere. The Cuban sandwich: oh my goodness. Crunchy Cuban bread, tender pork and crunchy pickles. Did I mention the plantains and black beans and rice? The sandwiches are huge! The cafe con leche is smooth and inviting as we'll. Check it out.

Went here after months of my family raving about the place. Had one of the best cubans in a long time here, the place was clean and the staff was real friendly. I think it might have been the owner that waited on us. I wish they had a deli in Atlanta, i would go here all the time and I cant wait to go back.

Second time here, want to eat here everyday! The cobb salad with chicken is the best I've ever had. It was so good the first time that not only did I have it again the second time, but my boyfriend had to have it as well. I added a side of homemade redskin mashed potatoes, which were so fresh. The women at the counter are so friendly too! Love this place.

The folks that run this place are great. This is probably the friendliest service you can get. Our office orders lunch from this place all the time, and even when we are placing these large lunch orders and paying separately for each one they are patient and do everything with a smile. The service alone makes it for me, but on top of that they have *excellent* home made food! My favorite is the Cuban sandwich, it's probably the best I've had in a long time. This is certainly not your regular everything-out-of-the-can cafe.

Great, friendly service in a nice, clean establishment. I ordered the Angelo's Ultimate with some modifications to taste and grabbed a bag of chips. It came out quickly on 9 inches of yummy Cuban bread, not too thick. Since it was so big and was full of three meats (ham, turkey, and roast beed) and cheese (provolone), I saved half of my chips and half of my sandwich for lunch the next day. So I got 2 lunches for $6 and change!
