It's in an office building, but it is AWESOME! Sava and Fili make amazing food. Our table ordered the Swissroom burger, patymelt, Reuben, and parmesan crusted grilled cheese with Bacon. Sandwiches come with fries or onion rings, both are tasty. And the guys are super nice. You have to get their homemade spicy catsup !!! We were scraping the containers to be sure we got it all!

You rarely get credit for being kind but Viva Cafe gets yelp love from me for just that. But. I digress, let's start from the beginning. Here in Tallahassee for a couple of days I refer to my Yelpies to find good local food. The reviews for Viva Cafe caught my eye. We sought them out. Located in a business complex you have to keep your eye out for the window with big red letters. We were greeted immediately and given a menu and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered the new bbq chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich had caramelized onions, peppers, cheese and my favorite bacon. Smothered in a delicious BBQ sauce on a fresh roll. My side was crinkle cut fries nice and crispy. My sidekick had the Fili cheese steak wrap with the onion rings. The meals are made fresh to order so if you are on a lunch break call ahead to place your order as I saw one patron do. The food was so good we literally argued about who's was better. If you locals haven't added this to you eat out rotation you are missing out. I would give it five stars for the food alone. The owner who waited on us and was head chef went above and beyond customer service. When we told him we were passing through he handed us two cold bottled waters for the road. Kindness can be rare so thank you Viva Cafe. My heart and tummy runneth over.

This place is such a gem. Both the recommended reviews and non - recommended are on point. First, the location of this is a little hard to find. You are expecting to find the front of a regular restaurant but this restaurant is inside a building. Don't let this discourage you -this place is worth the effort. It is located on the first floor. Inside a white building- and its building L in Woodcrest office park. If you put it on our GPS it will lead you next to the white building it has a flashing neon OPEN sign on the window! Just go inside the building and they are right on the left. I promise its easier than what I make it sound! Once inside its a a cafe, the owners are a Indonesian and Persian couple ( If I remember correctly) and they incorporate their flavors into their dishes, which yields delicious food. The prices are very fair - things are around 6 o 7 and if you have seen the pictures the portions are generous. They also offer lunch specials that include a drink and a meal for an even better price. THE HAVE NUGGET ICE! The menu is varies and delicious, I had a 'Fili' cheesesteak, (Named after their daughter Fili, apparently HOW CUTE IS THAT?!) Anyway, it was DELICIOUS, warm, cheesy, with plenty of peppers/mushroms and cooked to order so all we had was just made and not refried. Yummy! What I love is that the meat was grass-fed, antibiotic free, AND hormone free. That is even better! Freshly made quality food, at great prices, and in great portions. The onion rings were great, everything was tasty. The service was wonderful!!They are beyond nice!This is a great local business, and I hope they keep the same quality in ingredients/cooking service because it really sets them apart! They are a great breakfast/lunch alternative. I hope they are very successful and they can expand and bring in more clientele.

I travel for work and use Yelp to help me find local gems. I drove around the complex a little and then called, but got the answering machine. I hung up and they called me right back. They had closed already, but opened up to make me something quick. The brothers who own this place were beyond nice! They suggested the burger and then added all the bells and whistles. They suggested grilled pineapple add on, which I normally would not have chosen, but it was definitely a great idea. The service was top notch. And the burger was great. I saw many other things on the menu that I plan on coming back to try. I really appreciated the special service.

We walked in and realized this was a family run eatery. Brother had stepped out, so brother left tried his very best to serve us in the best way possible. Yes, it is homespun. Ok, now you know, but if you let it stop you screwed up!! The food was terrific. It was traditional, it was filling, it was absolutely worth returning. A lot!!!

Excellent fresh food, super friendly people. Prices are so reasonable. Try the Indonesian Chicken Curry or the quesadilla. The onion rings put other restaurants to shame - crispy coating and tender, flavorful onions inside. Their breakfast omelets are huge and they 'get' crispy hash browns.

This is an amazing upstart for a small restaurant. The owners are so anxious to make you happy. I ordered a salad, and was amazed at the presentation as well as the taste. They really need to advertise. The food s fantastic!
