Always great service and great food. If you're in the mood for sushi rolls, I can recommend the Tasty Asian Roll. Their menu is so large that they probably have something for everyone. Not many places in town offer Tom yum soup, so I can't wait to try theirs next time! Plus, portions are large and prices are not bad!

It is unusual to find both Japanese, Thai and Singapore dishes in a Chinese restaurant, but this place doesn't disappoint. I keep ordering the coconut milk soup with vegetables. It's a generous one quart of vegetables, sprouts and protein. The Tom Yum has an herbal flavor with lemon grass. The premium sushi dishes are imaginative. There are noodle dishes of several types, all of rice. The dining room is simple and attractive. There is still a language barrier with the family, but they are learning English, and the menu items have s letter and number code. The enjoyment of tasty food is universal and doesn't require words.

This past Friday, I happened to be on this side of town and wanted to try this establishment. I looked at some menu selections posted on the windows. What caught my eye was a Japanese hibachi entrée offering steak and shrimp. There was no price listed. I went into the establishment; I was the only customer. I decided to order two of the mentioned items plus a large hot & sour soup (to take home to eat for spouse and I). The entrée was cooked to order; the soup was typical fare from a Chinese restaurant - i.e. not made in the restaurant. When I arrived at home, I let my wife eat first. Later I decided to eat; and discovered that they only gave me one entrée. I called the restaurant. It seemed there was only one prepared. The price for that one item was $16.95; they added $4.00 for the extra meat (steak or shrimp, it seems). The pictured item I saw was for steak and shrimp. Regardless, for the item I got there were only 4-6 small shrimp and about a dozen to eighteen 1/4th inch squares of cheap beef. There was fat and gristle in most of the pieces. This was served with the standard white steamed rice, by the way. By far this was one of the worst experiences I have had with a Chinese/Oriental establishment in Tallahassee. I would advise all to totally avoid this place.

I love this place for a quick lunch or to-go meal. Fresh ingredients, big portions, and very friendly staff. I've never been disappointed. Solid.

I love their food. Their menu offers a huge variety of chinese, japanese and thai dishes. It's fresh and tastes delicious. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. My personal favorite is their Thai Coconut Shrimp Soup. The shrimps are huge!!!

Tasty Asian is small, but very clean inside. The food is tasty and lives up to its name. The selection of Chinese, Japanese and Thai makes for a little something for everyone. It might be nice to see some more steamed items on the menu. Like many similar establishments, it takes some thought to find lower calorie items. So, while I'm still shedding some pounds, I won't be too much of a regular. The bottom line is that hot items are served hot and cold items are kept cold. Everything tastes as it should and its very convenient to anyone in the Midtown area.

Hands down the chines food in the mall is better than what they have over here... Charged me $21 for a dish and said it's enough for 3 people and when the order came in it was enough for me... Not coming back to this place again.

Wife and I ate their last Sunday. Typical Chinese Restaurant take-out motif with walk up order counter at back. However decor is more upscale than usual. Now about the food: Wow! First, the portions are huge. Second and more importantly, the Green Curry Chicken was the best prepared I have ever eaten, much better than formal upscale restaurants. (I've eaten all around the world) The vege's were fresh. The Chicken was tender and very fresh. The Flavor of the sauce was amazing, flavorful and spicy. I wanted to lick the bowl and can't believe I ate the whole thing. My wife had shrimp broccoli. The shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection. I don't know who the Chef is, but this place is lucky to have this guy. We'll be regulars. Yummmmm. Best Chinese food in Tallahassee.
