Four of us went for lunch and it was an instant hit! The Tom Ka Gai soup was very good for starters and enough to share. I had the Panang Curry ( my regular for any Thai place) and it was very flavorful with nice fresh veggies. Hubby had his regular for Thai - pad Thai chicken. Very good stuff. Probably the best anywhere in town! The Volcano Roll was a-frikin'-maZing! And the Thai Steak Salad was very flavorful. For lunch this was great! I can't wait to go back!

Service: Very Slowwwwwwwww Order: Veggie roll was made with crab meat. Food quality: below average. I wouldn't recommend.

Came here once when I flew to Tally for apartment hunting. I wasn't particularly impressed with either the sushi or the Thai offerings. I actually tried both and thought they were just OK. Service was on point. Nothing to complaint there. The restaurant is located in an area where lots of college kids live. So I can see why it's popular. Overall, nothing stood out to me. I'm not sure if/when I'll be back because there are definitely better places to get Thai and sushi in this town!

Here's the thing. Tally Thai's food is amazing. The service is wonderful. The sushi chef is friendly and always talks to me from behind the counter when I order take out. I come here frequently and will continue to. Only thing is that they've messed up my friend's order several times. Twice in one night and on other occasions. The great service almost makes up for it, but they should at least offer a percentage off the check if the kitchen makes your order incorrectly, especially twice. You can't go wrong with the Paradise Roll. I get it with cucumber instead of the cream cheese. And you've got to get eel sauce! Love you Tally Thai!

Tally Thai and Sushi is one of the premier sushi restaurants in Tallahassee with their famous 'Trust Me' that never seems to disappoint. Located on W Pensacola Street just west of Ocala, Tally Thai is a small yet cozy restaurant that delivers on all levels. With a wonderful staff and a seasoned Chef, Tally Thai provides their customers with neat perfect service. They often have long wait times for pick up due to their popularity, but other than that they are great. My go-to roll is the Gator Roll (Sorry, Noles) - Spicy Tuna and Salmon, Avocado, and cilantro topped off with Yellowtail, Jalapeños, and special sauce. Unless I'm feeling adventurous, I'll usually stick to the Gator. Other great rolls are the Miami Heat Roll and, of course, the Trust Me roll. Now with the Trust Me roll, you're essentially allowing the chef to create a unique roll made just for you with whatever he has at his disposal. While this is always a good idea, it comes with an $18 price tag. I definitely recommend Tally Thai to anyone with a hankering for Sushi. Chiyo!

I thought this place was just okay. I love trying different curries from restaurants around town and came here to try their take on green curry out. The place was popping and full of people when I walked in, but fortunately there was a table open and I was able to grab a seat right away. The service was pretty quick though not overly friendly. I ordered the green curry and it was alright. I still think Thai Place has the best curry in town, but Tally Thai's wasn't bad -- it's better than Siam's. I ordered my curry with extra vegetables and they were plentiful. Not my first choice for Thai around town, but it is a viable option if you're looking to try some sushi or Thai around town.

When I try a Thai place for the first time, I usually like to try the Pad Thai and compare the flavor and quality. I ordered it to-go and it was just ok. I ordered it with shrimp, and it was very fresh. The rest was just alright. I would return to try something else in hopes that I would find something with more flavor.

I came here a couple weeks ago looking forward to trying it out. I came with a friend and we both ordered pad Thai, and I ordered crab Rangoon and she ordered a California roll. The crab Rangoon came out first and it was great. Our pad Thai came out next and it was above average. It had a nice flavor. My friend asked about her sushi, and the waitress said it would be out shortly. We ended up finishing our pad Thai and the sushi still never came out. She asked again and they said the chef was about to make it. It appeared as though they were short on staff, but I felt as though it took entirely too long for a simple sushi roll to be brought out to our table. The food was great as well as the service, so maybe it was just an off day. I would give it a try again, and hopefully I can update my review!

Tally Thai has my heart and lunchtime love. Restaurant is small but you can get in and out on your lunch hour with a deeeeelicious meal. I usually go for sushi. Lunch special gets you soup or salad with two rolls for $10. The rolls are on the skinny side, but tasty and fresh. Miso isn't overly salty. If you're coming with an appetite, you HAVE to start with the Tom Ka soup. Seriously life changing and so delicious. Their dishes are a much heftier meal than sushi. The pad Thai could definitely be two meals and they offer the option of mild, medium or hot when you order. It's not uncommon to see two people splitting a dish and a sushi roll, or a dish and soup to start. Parking can be a bit annoying, but I've never had an issue parking at the gas station and walking. Your best bet for sushi near FSU and always delicious.

I really like this place! Their plates are large and taste fresh and their thai tea is my favorite in town. It is in proximity to two other sushi places, BUT the sushi here is not too expensive and is a MUCH better quality! Their service is nice and attentive, without being invasive. Our waitress really knew the plates and answered our menu questions. I love their thai places. I've had their Panang Curry and their Pad See Ew, Pad Woon Sen... are very good and you will be fully satisfied. I usually end up sharing it with someone because I cannot finish it even though I want to because it is delicious. I ordered a Trust Me Roll, they are $18 for 10 pieces and the roll can be literally ANYTHING. The waitress did ask me what I did not like and did not want on it and we specifically requested for it to have nothing spicy at all. We were delivered a beautiful roll, but unfortunately it HAD tons of spicy stuff on it. We finished it, but it is hard for me to 'trust you' again (lol) Tally Thai! All in all, is usually a reliable experience that will leave you full.

We came with skepticism today after seeing a full five-star average given 25 yelp reviews to date. I figured that was unusual, since there's usually one or two hater reviews that manage to sneak in and pull the plug on the five-star party. This is absolutely a five-stars in class experience. Service was perfect - presentation was perfect - high quality ingredients were skillfully prepared. I ordered the duck curry and was very pleased. Also, I ordered The Tom Kha Gai which was rich and flavorful. In advance of it all was a great Uni & quail egg nigiri. Just having uni in stock sets this place apart - in a smaller subset of sushi outlets. (Kiku is the only other place in town that always has it when I've ordered it). Wife had what she characterized as an A+ veg pad Thai. It looked very good! One peculiarity stood out (peculiar, to us, that is) which was the pop R&B that was seeping out of the audio system. The music was a smidge loud (and, no, I'm not THAT old) and didn't line up with the fare.

Tonight we were looking for a good place to eat. A group of us from the job site. We ended up choosing Tally Thai n Sushi.now this is a small place kind of cool the way they decorated the place with sheet metal siding stuff. They menu was all over the place with some Thai and some sushi and some kind of American gone Asian dishes. I went with a hangout roll which had some salmon, habenaro, Avacado spicy tuna. The main course was a glass noodles with shrimp and a mixture of vegetables. It all was quite yummy but I would have liked to have more heat. When you order it hot I would like some spice. Another table mate ordered the native way which was supposed to be Thai hot. This should have been fire hot but it was just spicy he said. In all I do see why this place is one of two 5 star restaurants in Tally. Pretty darn good and with some great service. We will be back soon enough.

Awesome awesome food!! The rolls and food are totally delicious. We had curry, pad Thai noodles and cashew chicken. All was so good!! The service was also amazing and attentive

The service was pretty good, as was the Tom Ka Gai soup, but my sushi was warm and just not that tasty.

I've been to Tally Thai and Sushi a plethora of times, but now it's time to document my most recent experience. Last Friday night, my friends and I indulged like kings. I felt obligated to impress the out-of-towners, because they are sushi aficionados. And yet again, Tally Thai and Sushi, Tallahassee's sushi emporium, delivered a knockout meal. For starters we ordered veggie rolls and ginger salads, staple dishes in Asian cuisine, but the bar is elevated at Tally Thai and Sushi. The rolls were crisp, a perfect balance of veggie filling, with an incredible sweet Thai chili sauce that I could plainly dip my finger in and would still taste amazing. The salads were refreshing, but the kicker (of course) was the ginger dressing; tart and tangy with a hint of garlic made for a tasty compliment on crunchy romaine. And now for the star of the show. There were six of us in total and I believe there were at least 10 rolls spread across the table... For your sake I'll just describe mine, the Gator Roll. Filled with spicy tuna, spicy crab and avocado, while topped with white tuna, JALEPENOS, and an array of beautifully crafted sauces. My mouth was hit with fire, succulence and sweetness. It was the most perfectly complex bite and I'm foaming at the mouth as I type. On previous occasions, I've ordered Pad Thai, Curry dishes and even hot sake. Every dish is made with an undeniable attention to detail, a creative sense of direction, and the uniqueness to keep customers lining up out the door. At Tally Thai, you get the highest quality cuisine without breaking the bank. I might start a petition to change their name to "Tally Thai and Probably the Best Damn Sushi in Town."

I just want to say not only did my family enjoy the fresh sushi , Tally Thai food is great and not only do I frequently go to Thai restaurants and my best friends wife is from Thailand. The breath of fresh air for my dinner was the beautiful, blond , friendly server Shannon she was a huge plus !!!

  • Mae C.

Friendly staff, but the food was just mediocre. The Thai selection was acceptable, but the sushi was not. I am a huge sushi fan and I couldn't bring myself to finish my sushi rolls. The fish looked questionable. Considering the poor quality, the sushi was massively overpriced with no happy hour option. The venue was decently clean although he not aesthetically pleasing. I will not return.

I have been now a few times and I am so happy that I do not have to drive all the way to sakura to get yummy sushi. I have gotten the trust me roll and shrimp tempura rolls, a roll that was a cross between a spring roll and sushi roll, and tom ka soup once with chicken and once with shrimp. The soup is really good. I am not an aficionado and haven't have a lot of good asian in big cities but it is the best I have had in Tallahassee. A great balance of sweet and spicy. The chicken add on was a generous portion. The shrimp less so for more money. I crave this soup and it is big and hearty enough for lunch if you order it with chicken. The rolls for the most part have been great. The trust me rolls are amazing and you get a little plate of sunomo salad to start. The rolls are pricey but there is value with the salad and portion. The crab rangoon were really great as well as the chicken and shrimp dumplings. Obviously homemade. Great portion, super crispy, very full. I haven't had just sashimi here as the rolls have always caught my eye. I did once have a mushy shrimp tempura roll when I got take out. It was the shrimp in the kitchen not being cooked crisp and not the rice or roll construction. Actually come to think of it, the simpler the roll the less stellar it is. For some this is really important as simple preparation in the traditional style is what makes good sushi. For me I like the Asian flavors and something different. For the basic and traditional stuff there is another in town I might visit but for their soup, appetizers and special rolls, Tally Thai is really great.

Last night was a "treat night". Just needed to get out and be good to myself after the week I had. Kristin was my waitress and she was ALL of that. She was genuine, helpful and I couldn't have asked for better service the whole evening. This was my second visit. I hadn't returned sooner due to constraints and I was positive I was going to not have as good an experience as I did on my first visit. Something was going to slip; the quality of the food, the service, something. I was wrong. Started with some Pearl sake, then the seared tuna for an appetizer, with the other folks that raved about the Crispy duck in panang curry sauce, I had to try it. Add one more "rave review" for it. Seriously I don't think they make anything that is less than stellar. Since I love to try stuff I've never had before, I topped the meal off with their red bean ice cream. Kudos, folks.

This place was one of the few places in Tallahassee that had a five star review. So I immediately wanted to see what the hype was. Got my group all to agree! This place is super small and parking can be difficult if it's busy. We passed this place at least once. It's in the middle of a strip. However, those are the only negatives. Place seemed clean and our waitress was super friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu.My husband and I were starving so in addition to our actual meals we split the Tom Ka Gai with chicken. It was so delicious. I ordered the trustful pad thai and my husband ordered Pad Kee Mao. Both were spectacular. We were with a group and and everyone else at the table was loving what they ordered. I can see why it's a five star place!

Tally Thai and Sushi is hidden in plain sight and I'm ashamed to say it took me 4 years of being in Tallahassee to find it because I was pleased on every level. The Thai Tea was unlike any tea I've tried before: cool, creamy, and sweet, but not too rich. The consistency reminded me of milk and it played well with the sushi and appetizer my table ordered. I was also able to try one of the Japanese beers, Sapporo, which was light and pleasant. Tuna Tartaki in Sesame Ponzu sauce was a nice start to the meal. It was served cold and I personally felt like the sauce made for the majority of the flavor. It was served over julienned carrots and arugula. The variety of sushi available was unbelievable. It was difficult to choose one because of how great everything sounded, but after it was all said and done I was able to try the Miami Heat Roll (the table's personal favorite), the Red Wolf Roll, the FSU Roll, and the basic Tuna Roll. We closed out with a dessert of tempura ice cream that was breaded perfectly and had wonderful presentation. Frankly, the presentation of every plate we received was beautiful and you could tell that much care was taken in the creation. The server, Nathan, was fast and friendly. He did an excellent job of making us feel totally comfortable. The kitchen staff was also very quick despite the care that was taken in making our lovely plates. The establishment itself is very small (maybe enough for 30 people when full), but well decorated. The high ceilings and minimalist style make up in charm what the place lacks in space.

I know Duck. I've had the best in the world. So i consider it a strong/solid: 8/10 here. Panang curry was very strong too. Avocado roll also good. Wasabi was smooth & mellow while sufficiently fire-filled in my nostrils. The rice on the side was good & plenty. Water tastes good, which isn't a given in these days when every other place tastes like crap! So don't let the tattoo place next door scare you away! This place is a great hole in the wall. Service was outstanding. None of that young self-entitled generation snuffiness, these ladies served us with attentiveness & professionalism. Saturday night close was actually an hour earlier than advertised in Yelp.

I cannot believe the amount of sushi I have managed to keep eating after leaving Hawaii. Tallahassee actually has quite a few places, but Tally Thai and Sushi is a good mixture of Thai cuisine and Sushi. I have tried some of their curries and also some of their rolls. They have nice combos with specialty rolls, plain rolls, and sashimi. Their fish tastes fresh and the sashimi I have had wanted to melt in my mouth. The prices may be a bit pricey, but the quality is there. The location of the restaurant may seem a bit out of place, but do not shy away from it. Good quality sushi here for sure. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well.

Friendly and attentive staff for night service. Party of 3 at 8:30PM on a Thursday and we found ourselves in a relatively packed restaurant. Only two servers and only 1 empty table once we were seated. Sushi bar is fun to watch and the kitchen is nearby but the noise and smells don't get overpowering (until you leave the restaurant and realize all your clothes smell like Pad Thai). Happy hour from 4-6 M-Thursday on beer, not a full bar. There's a TV inside and it is a quick turn around time from placing the order to getting your food (major plus when you are starving). I had the Pad Thai with chicken. Pad Thai is $9 (like most noodle dishes) but to add chicken or other protein they add $1+. Same goes for other dishes like Curry. Pad Thai quality was OK, I was not impressed but if you're in a pinch to satisfy a craving...it'll do. I do not see myself going out of my way to come here for Pad Thai but if it is a 5 minute drive/walk/bike ride away...go for it!

The food was really good but the service was lacking. The waitress got my order wrong twice and barely came to the table. She was also not very knowledgable on the food at all.

I did the Tally and it came up quite positive. On the plus side of the ledger: They had Thai sticky rice! Not the dessert with mango, but plain as a side. Everything tasted fresh. I was with a party of 5 for our first visit and everyone was happy. I had the red curry with tofu, Thai hot. It was just right for me, just below the point where you feel like having your lips surgically removed. There was a generous amount of tofu and the vegetables were fresh. I also really enjoyed the fresh spring rolls. Others in the party had green curries or the fried rice. We were temped by the sushi that looked great from what we saw around us. On the negative side of the ledger: Only minor complaints. The place is small and so we had to wait even though we were there late on a Wednesday night. The beer selection was lame. Throw me a bone and at least put in a Sierra Nevada or a Florida craft beer.

Once you are able to find a parking spot and get inside the restaurant, the food is delish! I had two rolls- the Manhattan roll and then a roll which was custom made for me based on what I like. We called it the Sweetheart roll. Order it if you love tuna! The sushi chef is great! They are moving to a bigger space in 6 months, so that will solve the parking issue and long waits to get seated. The ONLY reason I gave the restaurant 4 stars and not 5 was the bar stools at the sushi bar. So uncomfortable and made of slippery metal, so I was fighting during my whole meal to stay in my seat and not slide out. Come eat here!

Took a day trip to Tallahassee and the family wanted Thai and Sushi. What a great place. It's a bit small (room wise) and don't let the appearance of the front store throw you off (it's 2 doors down from a tattoo parlor). The food was great and so was the service. I had the Tom Yum soup and Cali Roll, Myles had the the Thai Beef salad, Jerohn had the Pad Thai :)

  • Marcos P.

My girlfriend and I love eating here. I've been wanting to order more of their thai food but the sushi is just too good; probably the best we've ever had. Our usuals are the hangover roll, the rattler roll (both are specials that i dont think are on the menu) the fsu roll, gator roll and the sashimi deluxe. Everything is incredibly tasty and fresh. Best thai and sushi in town.

We got appetizers, sushi, and entrées and everything was good. The waitstaff was polite and attentive without hovering. The place is small, but the food more than makes up for it.

Easily one of the best sushi restaurants in tally. Don't be turned off by the exterior. The small location offers a intimate experience with one of the most talented sushi chefs in the country

The food was great and came highly recommended. This place is well worth the stop. I ordered the pad Thai. This is my stand by when I go to a new restaurant like this. I thought it was awesome. Great flavor and appearance. I ordered it hot. You can order mild, medium, or hot. I think the waiter to the cook made an error and it was medium at best. However my wife order the green curry. She ordered it medium and it was hot!! So we switched dishes. No big deal. The curry was also outstanding. I enjoyed it even hot. The flavor profile was right on the mark. When in Tallahassee I will make it a point to stop here.

Great food, great atmosphere. Two waitresses working that night and they were realllyyyyyy slow. We had to wait like 10 minutes just for them to bus a table to sit at.

  • Charles B.

Read reviews and thought we could give the restaurant a try. Small dining area. Was greeted by a hostess. Able to pick your own seating. The food is really good and they have a kids menu. There is not much to the kids menu though. That wasn't a problem for us since my son will eat veges and was willing to try the sushi. However, be prepared to wait this is not a fast food restaurant even though the atmosphere leans toward fast food, cue pop music, the food is prepared fresh. So there's a bit of a trade, either you want it fast or you want it good. Now the staff is nice but like I said, slow.

Best thai food in tallahassee! I've been coming here since they opened and I refuse to go anywhere else. They have the best pad Thai I've ever had. They're pineapple fried rice and mango stick rice is also amazing! The waiters and sushi chef are so nice! The only thing is parking is so limited. But other than that it's my favorite restaurant in tallahassee!

  • Giova V.

"Trust me" is not just a sushi roll, it is a piece of art. The food in this place is exquisite. The mixture of flavors in your mouth are unique. Highly recommended even if you don't like sushi there are many options. Avoid peak hours since demand for tables is high.

  • Lori S.

Despite an interior badly in need of an upgrade (ripped seats, dirty floor) the food is amazing! Fresh fish, crisp spring rolls, and although everyone says it....the TRUST ME roll is maybe the best sushi roll I've ever had. Definitely one of the top ten rolls ever. Interestingly we ate at Masa the night before, run by a relative of the Tally sushi chef accordingly to our waitress. Masa gets a solid 8 for atmosphere, but a 6 for food. Tally gets a 1.5 for atmosphere and a 10 for food.

Very flavorful and service was great. Most restaurants are scared of heavy seasoning in hopes to not upset customers, but not this one. They make you leave with flavors still lingering just to go back and order more. By popular demand, I ordered the "Trust Me" roll and they now have my trust. My friend ordered the Pad See Ew & I thought I was in Thailand after my first bite. This establishment gave me no reason to give them anything less than 5 stars. It was nice, quiet, clean, and intimate.

Stopped here on a return trip from Tampa. Ordered the Tom Yum soup as an app. Let my wife have a taste and almost didn't get it back. Great flavor and perfect temperature. For entrees we ordered the chicken pad Thai & mussaman curry. Both were excellent. The Thai tea was also a treat as it wasn't over sweetened as many other Thai restaurants tend to make. Environment is a little loud and the lighting could be more subdued, but the service was excellent and the environment well maintained.

I was very pleased with the service I received, and the food was amazing. This is the best sushi in town, hands down; I requested a "trust-me" roll from the head chef, i've never had such a good roll. Its a mom n pop place, the husband is the sushi chef, and the wife is the head chef in the kitchen. She makes some mean thai food, I had the hot red curry, solid.

Tally Thai and Sushi is easily the best Sushi place in town. I have lived in Tallahassee for 4 years and have tried every sushi place in town. I used to love Siam Sushi until I tried out Tally Thai and Sushi...turns out that the Sushi Chef at Tally Thai and Sushi used to be the sushi chef at Siam (but this menu and the prices are WAY better)...Go figure. The location isn't very great (being that it's in a run down strip mall) but when you get inside, the restaurant itself is very inviting and the staff is very sweet, and very attentive. My boyfriend and I have become a bit regular. We usually order the Tuna Tartar which I definitely recommend. We always get the Tom Kha Soup...and ALWAYS order the TRUST ME roll. (it isn't on the menu BUT, order it anyway...TRUST ME!) Everything is fresh and always tastes AMAZING. If you love Saki get the Pearl Saki! :)

I travel a lot for work and anytime I'm in a city I try to find the best sushi spot as I'm a bit addicted. That said Tally Thai and Sushi is that place in Tallahassee, quite a hidden gem. Their head sushi chef Kresna has put together a fine menu and knows the secret to good sushi is fresh product and creativity. Try a trust me roll for a unique experience or relax with a traditional plate of fresh shashimi and/or nigiri with a bottle of hot sake. While I rarely venture away from the spectacular sushi portion of the menu I can also vouch for the incredible and very authentic Thai food any of the curries are great and my personal favorite pineapple fried rice is an experience to be had in of itself. If in Tallahassee for any reason do yourself a favor and give Tally Thai a shot. Don't be disuaded by the outside appearance in a older strip mall or busy location.

I'll probably end up a regular here... If you're a fan of curry, then you will be too. Both the panang & massaman curry were phenomenal! Top that off with a Thai tea & you're living the dream. Props to Adam as well, his service & recommendations were spot on. I'll definitely be back soon to try their sushi, let's just hope it tastes as amazing as it looks.

I'm a huge curry fan and usually prefer Curry Pot to anywhere else in town, but was extremely pleased with my experience at Tally Thai. Tally Thai goes to great lengths to satisfy your cravings, and the staff should have really good suggestions if you aren't sure what you want. Extremely convenient. You can go for a quick meal or stay for a while to chat and hang. Guarantee you'll leave wanting more. You get more than what you pay for, as the food is extremely delicious and reasonably priced.

The chicken dumpling appetizer is a little wired. The duck curry is awesome!!!!! The sashimi is better than Sakura. I have to say this place is much much better than it looks like. The sushi roll is also very good!

This restaurant may appear average from the outside, but the food is far from average. All of the sushi and sashimi are very fresh and delicious. The rice dishes are outstanding and the fried spring rolls are the bomb! You cannot go wrong with the food here. I highly recommend Tally Thai and Sushi!

Tally Thai succeeds at providing flavorful and affordable Thai food. I've tried several Thai restaurants in the Tallahassee area and while I was pleased with a few of them, I found myself paying $15-17 for an entree. Tally Thai a very small restaurant tucked away in a small plaza. Because of it's size, there are normally 1-2 servers working at a time which calls for slow service during busy hours. However, they were both helpful and polite. I tried the Miami Heat Roll since it seemed to be the most popular and was really excited to find sushi that wasn't bland or fake tasting. Best sushi in town. The Miso soup was the only average part of my meal. I would highly recommend the Pad Thai or any of the Curry plates ($9-12) because I've never not been completely satisfied. They offer heat levels of regular, medium, spicy, and native so you can enjoy it however you'd like. Tally Thai has captured me as a regular customer, and I am happy to say there is no competition when it comes to flavor, portion, or price.

Best quality sushi in Tallahassee (and I have to admit I am very picky when it comes to raw fish). Definitely give this place a try

Saw a ton of reviews about the trust me roll and chicken panang so me and my friend and I split both of them. The trust me roll was AMAZING except for the tempura, it was a weird type of tempura. But besides that I was really sad the roll was gone. My friend and I didn't like the panang chicken that much it was too spicy for us and it just didn't taste that great. I kinda wish it had onions too. My miso soup wasn't good and my friends thai soup had such delicious dumplings. The green tea ice cream was amazing!! Besides that the waiter was really nice.

Though quite out of the way from where I live in Tallahassee, it was worth the drive. The location is a strip mall, and the interior small, with basic tables in the main dining area. Decorations are basic, but gets the job done. Service was okay, we had to ask for refills and our check several times, but nothing too atrocious. The food was very good - on par with my favorite Thai place in Tallahassee. I saw some of staff working here that used to be at the other Thai place, so that may explain some of the similarities.

The food was good. We ordered Trust me roll, Panang curry with chicken, and Basil sauce with chicken. Trust me roll changes every day and it's $18, but there was definitely more than fair amount of raw fish in it. I did like my curry sauce tad bit thicker, but it was very flavorful, packed with meat and veggies, and clean spice finish. I did ask for mild for the Basil dish ,surprisingly it was not spicy at all, if I knew I would go medium. I would maybe give it 5 stars for good food versus good price ratio. I am taking 1 star down for speed of service. We came there 2:00 and our food got there 3:06, so yeah, little slow even for me. My husband's water didn't get refilled till we were already eating and manager came by. There was a party of 8 before us and they all had separate checks which definitely consumed a lot of their only server's time. He was very nice though.

Our party of three enjoyed everything (Tom Kha soup, Crunchy Roll, two different Trust Me Rolls, and Green Curry) we ordered on our first of what will surely be many visits to Tally Thai and Sushi. Atmosphere is nothing fancy, parking and seating is limited, but prices are reasonable, food is yummy and, given the proximity to the FSU campus, we were satisfied. We had recently been disappointed in Tallahassee sushi options; now we have a new favorite. Our curry lover has a new affair going here and looks forward to trying other hot menu options. Ask for your preferred level of spicy heat on any dish.

The best Thai in Tallahassee. We are so glad we finally found an authentic and delicious Thai Resturant. From the atmosphere, to the staff and especially the food a true gem! A must to taste and experience. This Thai Resturant will not disappoint.
