I went here for my first visit today and was very pleased with the atmosphere as soon as you walk in! The man at the counter who id imagine to be the owner was awesome and made me feel so welcome! He knew right away i was a new face that had never been there before and welcomed me to his store, then made me the best green apple bubble tea i have ever tasted! The price was extremely reasonable for the area we are in and their menu was exciting, i cant wait to come back and try more!

I eat and drink here so often, the employees know "my regular" order!!! I am in love with the snake in the grass frappé and the turkey burger for lunch! The shop is always busy, but they have great, fast service and even though I'm often in a rush when I'm there I never have a bad experience!!! I will continue to go as long as I'm in this area for sure!

This gets five stars in its class for the following: 1- respectfully perpetuating a tradition started in 1921 (yep -the building dates to 1910 - but the sweet shop moniker has been affixed since Warren G. Harding was inaugurated as our 29th president!) 2 - offers great indoor AND outdoor ambiance. The outdoor terrace is PERFECT. Eight two-top, under covered awning - looking over the FSU south gate @ W Jefferson & Gray. 3 - music/poetry/etc venue with great stage area. 4. Comfortable sofas and lounge chairs as great alternatives to the booths lining the walls and the tables and chairs throughout. 5 - great and diverse menu offering. An overall sampling of the FSU of yore and lore! ( with solid wifi coverage too boot)!

Boba tea! And an FSU landmark. Why wouldn't you stop by? Lots of people studying and hanging out. Like the rest of FSU though, parking is near impossible to find. Great big menu with sandwiches and teas and coffees.

Seems like a nice place for study/read/hang out or whatever. But worst tea ever! They add lots of sugar in the drinks. If u like sugar, this is the place for u to add more some rolls on ur stomach.

This was my go to place to study because it's so calm and it isn't as crazy packed as Strozier It's also a great place grab a coffee between classes since it is so close to campus. The staff is very friendly and the service is top notch! One day while in there I spilled my coffee as soon as i sat down. I asked the cashier who i assumed is either the manager or owner if I could get a paper towel, he asked if i spilled something I said yes. Someone cleaned it up and he gave me a free replacement coffee!! It is a little pricey for the drinks but the coffee and the food is awesome!! They also have a little stage with a piano which i saw a girl playing one night some calm piano music. Summary: Great and quiet place to study, or to grab a coffee when you're waiting for your next class.

My favorite coffee shop/study space in all of Tallahassee. They have a broad selection of amazing lattés, and the food is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is perfect for study/hang time between classes, and the location is convenient for students (especially for English majors ;)). I'm going to miss it here.

I ordered a whole wheat bagel and the guy comes out with a plain. My friend orders a all the way bagel with sausage and the guy comes out with a plain and steak. Right when we saw it we told him and he did not even offer to switch the bagels out.

The Sweet Shop is a fantastic place to study and enjoy talking with friends. The owner, Nedal, is a great guy who is always looking to please his customers. The coffee is some of the best I've ever heard (and I drink a lot of coffee). The wraps and desserts are out of this world. I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good place to relax and get some work done. It is convenienly located on the FSU campus so parking is a little difficult but after 4:30pm on weekdays, FSU stops ticketing and the faculty spots open up so parking is a bit easier.
