Great food! I had pork sandwich ( not a normal one)and husband had Spicy Beef Soup. Both were delicious. Very clean and fresh. Place wasn't the most appealing, but clean and fast. Can't wait to go again!!

I love this place! Finally, a decent Vietnamese place in Tally! The pho has good flavor here, and although I've had better in bigger cities, it's good enough for here! The service is also good, friendly, and helpful. My only gripe (and it's not enough to make me not come here) is that the vegetable plate doesn't always seem super fresh (the bean sprouts are a little brown sometimes). However, I know how quickly those bean sprouts go bad, so I get it and I don't think it's enough to take away more stars. I'll be back!

I can not claim to be an expert of pho, or of Vietnamese cuisine in general, as when I came here it was my first experience with either. I will, however, stand behind my above average opinion of Pho Me. I had the Meat Lover's Pho, eager to try tendon and tripe for the first time. The tripe, as I'm sure anyone familiar with it knows, is not for everyone and was not for me (although I am glad I tried it). The tendon, however! The tendon was amazing. It literally melted in my mouth. Part of the reason I have given this place only four stars is because there was simply not enough tendon in my bowl at all. What was in my bowl, though, was a generous amount of warm, delicious broth that I will now always crave on a cold night. My friend had the roasted chicken pho which was also very yummy. The biggest reason I can give Pho Me only four stars is that my friend also ordered the curry sliders, and to be frank, they just were not good. They were bland and dry...but alas, this is a pho place, and the pho does not disappoint.

I am vietnamese and I have had my share of pho in my 35 years of life. I must say that this pho experience was less than ideal, especially considering a bowl of pho was $12. Where to begin... 1) Thought it was strange that ordering occurred at a counter and not after being seated. Definitely gave the "fast food" feeling rather than sitting down for an authentic vietnamese dinner at a restaurant. 2) As people know, the broth of the pho will make or break the meal. It wasn't the worse broth I had ever experienced, but it wasn't something to recommend to others. It was oily and lacked the authentic flavor. 3) Missed key ingredient such as bean sprouts. When I asked for bean sprouts, the staff told me that their shipment didn't come in today. My advice to the owner is that less than 2 miles away are supermarkets with bean sprouts. 4) Size of bowl and amount of meat not worth the $12 price tag. I've been to many other pho restaurants from California to Atlanta and a $12 bowl would consists of enough food to feed two adults. Not so much at this establishment. I send this review to not only provide my opinion, but to hopefully make the owner realize a few areas to improve. I have eaten at their previous location at railroad road and the quality was much better. I'm concerned that now that you have a larger and nicer building, you are having to cut corners on the quality of the meal and raise the price just to make enough for the lease of the new building. I wish u the best of luck.

A little pricey, but great food. I'm a pho fan, and while I've had better, this place is way up there. The real gem are the Nutella donuts. They aren't really donuts, just weird, fried bread things with Nutella in them and raspberry sauce on it. They are incredible.

Pho indeed! The broths are the star of the show: complex, fragrant and flavorful So far I've had the traditional pho, mi quang, banh mi with grilled beef and traditional sandwich with roasted pork. Everything has been spot on, and I can't wait to try more things on the menu.

Very good Pho, had the meat lovers, loaded with all the goodies. I've eaten pho at many places, and this one is in the top ten. Very surprising, since it's in Tally. Bookmarking this place, I'll be back!

Updating my review after quite a few trips back to Pho Me and the quality had gotten better! My previous complaints about packaging have been remedied, though the beef in the pho still leaves a lot to be desired. Veggies have been a lot better in my past few visits as well. I've found eating in lends you a larger portion, although the take out portion is more than enough.

Don't try new pho places when you're really craving pho. I'll just be straight forward, the rare beef was terrible quality, the bean sprouts aren't fresh at all, because I definitely want brown veggies in my soup. I can't believe they serve the food out like this. If they can serve dried out pork and brown veggies, that's saying a lot. Shame on this place, I was so excited to try it! Bummer. Nobody checked to see how everything was either and their dishes had obvious stains whaaaat

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Ingredients were fresh and portions were generous, and the people seem to take pride in what they do. The only odd thing about the visit was that they were out of a few staple ingredients, so members of my party were told that they couldn't order certain menu items. Odd but overall a really enjoyable experience. I'll be back with my family (and others)!

I don't like doing this, but I've got to take one of the stars back. (Remember, 4 stars is "Yay! I'm a fan" so this isn't the sky falling...) This is a great concept. having the variety of soups is unique in town, and creating your own adds a certain adventure. Today, and several times previously, It appears that the accompanying crudites have either been thin on the cilantro and I've never seen culantro here. Also, I've ordered tendon in my BYOB but I infrequently get more than two pieces. Finally, the portion seems to be on the short side, especially for lunch. I do understand the difference between the sizes, but when it's served in the same bowl - it just looks like someone filled it 1/2 only. Still flavorful - and I still frequent Pho Me. Staff and owner are very nice.

I've been to "Pho Me" on a few occasions now and they are up at the top as far as Vietnamese style places go in Tallahassee. The only one I would put at their level or above is Far East Cuisine, but that is because their menu is more eclectic and wide-ranging than Pho Me is, In my opinion. Anyways, I have had the Pho here and it is pretty good, but what I really enjoy are the Bahn Mi sandwiches here. I usually get the BBQ Pork or the Shrimp and they come with the standard Bahn Mi fixin's which include pickled veggies and some mayo all on a baguette. My pork and shrimp Bahn Mi's were both very well cooked and the flavors pop out at you from the first bite to the last. You can also add a little sriracha to your Bahn Mi if you want more of a kick. Also, a must try if you are having your cheat day are the Nutella Donuts. They are really good and I love the raspberry sauce they drizzle on top of them. A nice touch to break up the thickness of the breading. Parking shouldn't be an issue here as there are several spaces to get a spot. Pho me is definitely a place worth seeking out if you're in the mood for something different in Tallahassee.

Pho is one of my favorite foods so when Pho Me was slated to open, I was ecstatic. I have given this place a try twice now and now am disappointed that I got my hopes so high up. First problem: Portion sizes - The broth wasn't enough to cover the noodles in the bowl. This wasn't because there was an overabundance of noodles. I was upset that I couldn't even get my veggies in there. The meat was also lacking. There were exactly 5 pieces the one time I counted. :(. Second problem: Price - For the portion, it is very overpriced. I would actually be okay with a pho place that had a smaller portion for a scaled down price. The price is slightly higher than the competing areas (although this week, I saw that Pho 7 had raised their prices to Pho Me's. Isn't capitalism supposed to work the opposite way?!) Third problem: Broth - Everyone who eats pho knows that the broth is key. This broth (both times) were too salty for my taste. It makes it harder to make out the other components of the broth. I hope they kick it up with their portion prices and their broth. I used to go when they were in Railroad square and it was better than. I think its the same family so I am hoping that they are just working out the kinks in their new kitchen. Maybe I will give them a try in a few months, but until then, blech

This was my first experience with Pho(pronounced fuh). This place is new and very clean with a simple and easy to understand menu. I can't compare their pho to any other place but I enjoyed it. The broth was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. I took a star away because I finished the bowl, which is a rather large portion, and I was still hungry. I'm a weightlifter and I have a pretty big appetite but for $10 I expect to be full when I leave a short order place(it's one of my criteria). I brought my girlfriend there a few weeks ago for her first Pho experience and she couldn't finish her bowl. She really liked the place and her pho.

I hate to be a meanie or one to write a bad review, but I was very disappointed with my experience here. On a chilly night my friend and I were down to try this new place and see if it was any good. With a catchy name like Pho Me we were intrigued. This is not like your typical Pho place. Once you enter you order at the register and pay right away. The menu lists a bunch of types of soups with different noodles and broths to choose from. There are a few salads or sandwiches here, but to me it is strictly for Pho. I ordered the Build Your Own Soup Bowl, with Pho noodles, Spicy Broth, Rare Beef, Well Done Flank, Tripe, and Spicy Tofu. I was excited to try this and hoped for the best. There were a few disappointments that occurred. For one, the broth was so minimal and pathetic that all the meat and veggies just sat dry at the top. It needs to flow high up so everything can soak and get warmed up. Which brings me to flaw number 2 of the room temperature broth. The meat never cooked and looked pink the whole time. It was cold that the bean sprouts tasted raw and hard. I tried to compensate by adding fish oil, sriracha, and hoisin but it did not succeed. Oh and they do not sell Vietnamese iced coffee....what a sin. Maybe I came at a bad time of the night, but I really have experienced better elsewhere. pho me....

Probably the best pho I've ever had. I absolutely LOVE coming here! The staff is friendly, the place is minimally decorated, but always clean. I always get the roasted chicken Pho and my wife and I split an order of the summer rolls. They are VERY knowledgable about their food, because it's authentic and made from scratch, so it's safe to eat here if you have Celiacs disease. There aren't many places in town that make it easy on you if you can't have gluten, but it's never an issue here. We will definitely keep coming back. If they keep making the Pho, we will keep eating it! :) Highly recommend!

Clean establishment. Friendly staff. The food has always been very good. Taste exceeds and trumps other pho places around town. Only problems i have come across are that sometimes the bowls feel "light" on the amount of ingredients that are in them (as in amount of protein and/or noodles) and I went to grab a late lunch recently and found that they were closed. I went around 2 PM but the sign said they were supposed to be open till 3 PM and then reopen at 5 PM.

So happy there were numerous vegan options here. I'm giving it 4 stars because the broth was pretty bland, but they couldn't use the traditional recipe since it was vegan and pho is supposed to be kinda custom flavored at your table. Peanut sauce with spring rolls was VERY good. Food came out very fast and customer service was good too. They even warned us that the summer roll sauce had mayo, which was not vegan. First time here. Will be going back. Update: been back twice since the past review and tried other items. Truly DEElish and lightning fast service.

Pho is Pho is Pho is Pho which is to say, much like pizza, it's good. Jessica the extremely nice (did I say extremely?) nice person who waited on me made it better but it's solid Pho. I had the chicken with spring rolls. Short sweet and to the point, all good.

Best Pho in town, you won't be disappointed! I have tried Pho in other places in Tally but they were fair at best, Pho Me has a friendly staff and is extremely clean as well.

This place is my jam. I get the vegan pho (with bean curd), and my boyfriend gets the meat lovers. We both leave satisfied every time. Broth is yummy, sriracha added in gives just the right kick, people are friendly, and restaurant is clean. I like the vegan pho so much though, that I can't vouch for anything else - I get it every time!

Ugh. Not the best pho or banh mi (ever though I got their "authentic" version). Very sad. A bit over priced for what it is. I mean, the pho was okay, but you can get pretty decent pho in most Vietnamese places in Tally, in a pinch. I ordered extra meat, and would have been even more disappointed to see what "regular" meat was -- scent only?? The sandwich did not make me happy. The authentic tasted Americanized, less flavorful than I expected. Wonder what the non-authentic one tastes like, then. I feel a little bit tricked. Too trendy. Focused more on image than food, imo.

To me this is the best pho in town but still lacks the full flavor that I am used to. I came from Orlando where I could eat the pho for three meals a day. They are a little pricey but you're not going to go broke eating here.

This place has only been open a few weeks, but it's already become my new favorite restaurant! Everything is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the vegan pho with tofu as an entree, and their spring rolls are awesome if you're extra hungry.

I read an article on the newspaper about this newly opened location and decided to check it out. I love Vietnamese food. I was sorely disappointed by the bowl of Hu Tieu that I got. The broth was watered down and the shrimp was mushy (not fresh). Really? A Vietnamese restaurant with shrimp that's not fresh? I don't mind small portion if the broth is good. The broth is bland. I had to add three tablespoons of fish sauce to make it edible. My friend had to add fish sauce and sriracha sauce on her beef noodle soup. This restaurant is named Pho Me, one would think that their most important dish would be the soup and it must be spot on. Sigh. Two words - Big Disappointment. I informed the counter staff that the shrimp was not fresh but I did not get an apology. Unless changes are made, I won't be going back.
