I heard about this place on the radio. Then I saw it on Yelp and it sounded a lot better then it ended up being. The place is going though some renovations expanding I think. But they have community tables so you get to meet your neighbors unlike me. My neighbors were a little uptight let's say. I wasn't even wearing my UF Gators shirts. I heard that they have the best wings in Tally. Not to this Gator. My wings were super small and swimming. Really they were in a lake of not at all Spicy. Spicy hot caribbean wings 10 of them that could not swim home. I mean Dick's Wing would have sent these things back. On top of that the celery and carrots were old. You could see how dried up they were and even rubbery too. So in all you can keep your best in tally wings I'm going home.

There's no doubt these are some of the best wings AND one of the better deals in Tallahassee... 45 cent wings on Sunday! However they tend to get PACKED on game day, usually to the point of being overwhelmed and understaffed. My to-go order the other day took forever to come out and the line was really long. Otherwise their wings are great. The hot buffalo as well as the BBQ are really good (the BBQ ones come with a lot of sauce) and my roommate really enjoyed Carolina Gold. Definitely worth trying but don't expect to breeze in and out or get decent service.

The food was pretty good and a pretty good price. The service was wonderful. We called to see if they offered delivery, they do not. There are a few delivery services in Tallahassee that the restaurant use, but the services jack up the prices. For example, the Cuban sandwich (with french fries) is $8.89 straight from the restaurant, through the delivery service Doorstep Delivery, the same sandwich was $11.56, plus you have to pay a processing fee (2.5% of order total), tax (roughly 7.5% for some reason, though state tax is 6%), and a processing fee of $3.99. The lady who answered the phone told me we'd be better off to just order at the restaurant for takeout, that we'd save money, and we'd get the wing day discount (only on bone-in wings, and only when ordered through the restaurant). She was very nice and courteous when I told her I'd call back once we made up our mind. When I called back a few minute later, it was the same lady I had spoken to previously, and she was just as nice and courteous when taking my order. She even saved me a little more money when I wanted to add coleslaw (along with fries) to my Cuban sandwich, she rang it in as a side to wings so I'd save a few cents. Very courteous and very nice. I'd give that particular server 5 stars! Anyway, on to the food. We got some boneless Sweet Teriyaki wings, bone-in Hot wings, the Texan Philly Melt, the Cuban sandwich, and the Hot N' Dilly appetizer (battered and fried pickle slices, and battered and fried jalapeno slices). The total was about $50. The wings were good enough, nothing special. The sandwiches were both really good. Far better than I had expected. I don't know if we'd come again if we were in town, just because there are so many other places to eat. It was good though, I'd recommend the food, especially the Cuban sandwich.

This is mostly a local favorite for the area college students, fans of FSU football..basketball..etc. The food is really good..The wings, burgers, fries are out of this world. Service is great..My only complaint is that the temperature inside was cold to me. It was actually cold in Tallahassee, but the locals just don't believe in turning on a little heat? lol...but really that is my only complaint about this establishment. Next visit I'm going to try a burger. Not sure why I didn't take a pics of the food that everyone in my party orderd. My spicy jerk wings were cooked perfectly. I asked for celery and I received a massive amount, but that's ok! It was fresh and the ranch tasted as if it was made in-house and not heavy on the mayo taste, which is great in my book because I detest mayo!

WIngs. Wings. Wings. Yes they have a great reuben, cheese steak and buffalo chicken sandwich, but this place is about wings. So how are the wings? They are f***ing great. They have a great sauce selection where everything is good. Buffalo Wild Wings has more options, but some of the flavors are gross, Hobbit doesn't bother with nasty flavors. It sticks to the classics Mild to Extra Hot, three versions of traditional BBQ, with a few local variations, then all the other good stuff like teriyaki and lemon pepper. I like my wings naked and fired thoroughly, meaning no slimey half cooked skin. Drums and flaps are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Just perfect. They are also quick on pick-up. Right after an FSU Football win they had our wings ready in 15 minutes. If you are looking for a good local sports bar with tasty wings, eat at Hobbit's.

There are TV's everywhere and they play sports all day, every day! If I was into more sports than just Basketball, i'm pretty sure this is what heaven would look like. LOL But really now, Hobbit's is a really fun place to go to for all of your sports watching in the Tallahassee area. They have beer specials all the time basically and really good fried food to complement all the yelling and the shouting you have to do in there to have a conversation and the sports being played. Recently I have been going a lot because of sports, so these are the things that I recommend if you do not have a large party: 1) Sit at the bar. The bartenders are really nice, especially Adam though and you can eat right at the bar, which makes is quicker for you to have access to alcohol later, especially when the place gets swarmed for important sports games. 2) Get the Hobbit Toast to share. If you have more than three people in your party it is going to get demolished in like 2 minutes. It is soooooooo good, just the right amount of salt and pepper on fried pita bread (at least i'm pretty sure that's what it is). Just listen to me and get it. 3) Go outside after you have eaten. I generally like being able to hear the television, which is really hard inside because it does get packed, so if you can, grab a seat outside. Be weary of the smoke though, everyone comes out to smoke. The only other tip I can say is if you get cold easily, bring a sweater because sometimes it can get chilly.

I come here a lot. The servers are awesome (especially LJ). I go for the wings and beer of course. The last few times I have been the wings were small and not that great. Also the carrots were VERY dried out. I was very disappointed!! Also they don't accept my 10% yelp coupon unless it is printed out. I can't figure out how to print it. They wouldn't give the couple dollars off. I guess I have to find another place to go from now on.

Well first i do have to say that i called in for pick up. I read reviews that the service wasnt so great but the food was completely worth it. I orderes 20 wings on sunday which is when they have specials on wings. They were awesome. They were done in the said time (i believe 20 min) and it was so good!! Def a must in tally. Hobbit Hoagie's hands down has the best wins in town. I called in my order of 20 wings while finishing some last minute Christmas Shopping. (This is a must because they are normally extremely busy - but that day he said they would be done in 15mins). When I entered I was greeted warmly by a cute guy at the register by name and quickly given my receipt and hot Carolyn Gold (best flavor) wings. Best days to go are Thursday and Sunday because of the wing specials - but this is also the most packed. So if you choose to dine in you may be forced to wait on a table and have extra long wait on the wings.

Stopped in for some wings, and wow they did not disappoint. Our waitress was helpful with explaining the sauces to us and gave us Superior Service. The place is a typical wing, hoagie bar, TVs throughout, comfy dining area with high tops and benches. Great place to watch some games. We did order some mushrooms for a starter and they were good but way to much batter on them. Very thick, and just way to much. Now unto the wings, oh my they had like twenty different sauces to choose from. Our waitress told us we could get half and half which worked out great. I decided on medium and Carolina BBQ, I believe that was the name. It had honey mustard mixed with BBQ, great flavor. The wings were hot, fresh, naked with just the sauce and plenty of meat on them. Heck have you ever gone to Hooters for their wings? Shoot it's like where is the meat or chicken? Now Hobbit gives you great tasting wings, with such a variety of awesomeness sauces. Fries were awesome with great seasoning on them and they have specials on draft beers. Can not wait to go back and have some fabulous wings. Prices are very reasonable. Service was great, fun cool place!!

Exactly what could be expected from this place. I received a 10% discount because I checked in here so here's to that. The food was okay - nothing great but nothing bad. The waitress was wonderful but the drinks were expensive. While it's not going to be my go-to place it's certainly now on the radar.

This place is a regular food stop for both of my FSU college sons, who live in the neighborhood. It is a strip mall place that offers casual food and beer and is located in the middle of a huge student population. We went there on a previous visit, and yesterday on a football game Saturday. I wasn't happy with the food the first time. The second time we limited our selections to wings, and the wings were great! But seriously, how can you screw up wings? The service was really fast considering how packed with football fans it was. Our server was efficient but needs to smile once in a while.

typical college bar/grill, nothing outstanding, food is blan, sticky floor and smells of stale beer. Needs a better clean up crew!

We stopped in for a sandwich after an outing nearby. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday, but was not very busy. This is likely due to being summer and no school in session. The food was OK. I had a burger and others at the table had a greek salad, philly cheesesteak, wings, and chicken. Everyone commented that the food was good, not great. The service was not good though. We had to wait a very long time to order and also get drink refills. The food came out at a good time, and proper temperature, but the rest was slow. This was puzzling as we saw almost every server just talking with each other and not paying attention to their customers. The restroom was not up to par, but not filthy. Prices were on the high side I thought. My burger with chili cheese fries, water and a kids meal came to $16, plus tax and tip.

Such yummy wings!!! Their blue cheese dressing is probably the BEST I have ever had in my life, I am not even joking. The corn nuggets are good too! The boneless definitely aren't as tasty as the regular ones and the good ol fashioned buffalo sauce is their best (their medium garlic is good too though). On Sundays, you can't bea the price for the wings!

Cool college hangout. Food was good and the service was great.

Best wings ever. They're crispy and hot and served with delicious sauces. Bear in mind this place is a sports bar so they have yet to cater to the vegetarians of the world. They concentrate on a few simple things and do those things well. Hoagies are inexpensive and come with a side depending on whether you get a hot or cold hoagie. Inexpensive and informal atmosphere. Good drink specials and quarter wings on certain days. This is a local Tallahassee business and there is another location on Capital Circle NE. This place usually is packed as locals know they have the best wings around. Come here and stay away from Buffalo Wild Wings, which features gross overpriced chain food.
