The owners and staff are amazing! They were extremely accommodating and attentive to our large party. The food was also great- the sweet potato waffle fries were unreal...everything was delicious!

I visited Flying Bear for the first time today. I had no idea what I was missing. Huge portions, friendly service, and delicious food - wow! The server, after discovering two members of our lunch party were Flying Bear newbies, not only made recommendations but also brought a complimentary sampling of baked macaroni and cheese to our table. Our group ordered the spinach artichoke dip. This dish is really more like spinach artichoke nachos. The small order was gargantuan. Five people noshed on this generous plate! I split a burger with one of my table mates. The burger halves came out pre-halved and individually plated with a generous order of the salty, honey-drizzled sweet potato fries. The salad one of our party ordered looked delicious. I had salad envy. I have to return so I can eat my way through this menu!

A very slow Tuesday night, hubs and I decided to come here after an early movie. The appetizer chili was delicious with a little kick and full of grass fed beef. Hubs and I split a Linden Burger and it was very good. The star was the honey drizzled sweet potato fries. The service was inattentive to say the least. At 8:30, it must be close to closing time but I don't have my check and the place is loud with the kitchen personnel having a good time. I just wish they wouldn't swear while they are taking care of business. Fifteen minutes is too long to wait for the check. No manager walked around tonight! This is about my 5th visit here and glad it wasn't the first or I wouldn't be back. However the food is solid.

Consistently great food. EXCELLENT service! We have really enjoyed everything we've tried here. We are addicted to their cheese fries. They're so good it ought to be illegal. Have never had a bad experience here and we eat here all the time. Again, the staff here is excellent!! Attentive, helpful, quick... They run like a well oiled (and friendly) ship!

Visited with a group of four on a Saturday night. No real wait to be seated, and prompt drink service as soon as we got to the table. Our group had a variety of dishes and every dish was excellent- we had mac and cheese, pizza, burger, gumbo, and sandwiches. They were all delicious. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was upbeat without being too loud to comfortably talk. Overall, a great experience and we will be adding this to our rotation of regular spots.

Finally found a gem in Tallahassee!!! Great Food; huge portions; phenomenal service. I recommend the white gumbo and meat loaf. I hear the mac and cheese is great as well, but I didn't have anywhere to put it after this meal. I will be back!!!
