Excellent service! Food is delicious. I tried the new summer salad with strawberries, it is so good! Buffalo Barclay is my favorite chicken salad.

This place is located next to Moziaks in Market Square. It is very clean and has great service. There are several different types of chicken salad to choose from, which are all delicious. Sweet tea is awesome and has different coke products for soda lovers. Gotta try it.

The staff is super friendly but sometimes slow. That said, the southern charm of this place and the wait staff adds to the experience. The chicken salad can't be beat. Try the Olivia's Old South for a classic take on a southern favorite.

My family and I ate here for the first time today. I tried the original recipe with onions (Dixie) on wheat bread combo, which came with one side (I chose fruit cup), a pickle, and one cookie. My husband and son ordered the trio so they could try several different versions. They chose the buffalo, the Jazzy Jane, and the Jalapeno. We were all very impressed. I usually do not like any chicken salad that I haven't prepared, as I never seem to like the flavors, the mayo, or their seasonings (or lack thereof); however, this chicken salad's seasoning was wonderfully flavorful with just the right amount of mayonnaise. I was given a generous amount of chicken salad on my bread, and after eating the fruit cup, pickle, and cookie, I was stuffed! My husband and son were stuffed, as well, but they did end up going back to the counter to buy two croissants to put the remainder of the chicken salad. They said it was all very good but a bit much without the bread. i cannot wait to tell my mom and mother-in-law about this place! I loved the decor and atmosphere, and the staff at the counter were above and beyond helpful in explaining the menu and helping with selections. Strangely enough, there was a bad odor that kept wafting around the restaurant at intermittent times - a bathroom BM smell. They could be having problems with plumbing or an ornery toilet. It would wax and wane, so it wasn't constant and it wasn't anything worrisome or bad enough to make me not want return to the restaurant.

This cafe has the best gourmet chicken salad. Love the Cranberry Kelly Chicken Salad. It's so addictive that I buy it by the pound. Nut Nana is full of cashews and pecans. I plan to try other varieties and I'm sure I won't be disappoint.

Chicken Salad Chick is one of the newer restaurants that has appeared recently in the Tallahassee area but it could see some improvement already. Now don't get me wrong, they have some pretty decent chicken salad and in lots of variety to choose from but you barely get any chicken salad on your sandwich. My croissant sandwich was made up of Kickin' Kay Lynne (buffalo sauce, ranch, cheese, bacon, and jalapeno) chicken salad, tomato, and lettuce. The croissant, tomato, and lettuce made up most of the sandwich with a meager and depressing looking half-inch of chicken salad smeared in the middle. Accompanying your bread sandwich, you have several choices of a side (fruit, broccoli salad, pasta salad, chips) which were alright. You also get a cookie which looked and tasted like someone just slid it out of the Keebler Cookie Bag. When one goes into a place called Chicken Salad Chick, you would imagine the emphasis would be on the chicken salad which should be thick, chunky, and nearly spilling out of your sandwich. Sadly, once you chomp down on a mouth full of bread you realize that this isn't the case here.

Marvelous selection of chicken salads. I tried 3 of them and couldn't decide which one I liked best. A MUST visit if you're in Tallahassee.

My guy and I had driven past this place several times after a trip to Momo's for pizza. We decided to give it a try after a recommendation from my parents. WOW. I like a good chicken salad, and I am picky about chicken salad. The first visit I tried their original recipe. Very good, moist and tasty. I had my on a crescent roll with chips and a drink. My guy had his on wheat in a similar combo. We loved it. Our second trip, I decided on a scoop of the Nutty Nana. It was fantastic, and I tried the fresh fruit salad and water instead of chips and soda. A third trip and I tried Fruity Fran. By then, the guy had settled on the Dixie Chick as his favorite, and I was hooked on Nutty Nana. We stop by for late lunch every so often and enjoy it. The staff is pleasant and well trained, and the owner is often in the store carrying out orders, checking with customers for satisfaction, or taking orders up front. The premises are pleasant and clean with a nice décor for a relaxed lunch or early dinner.

Today, I visited Chicken Salad Chick for the first time. I was excited to try it, and I had heard a couple decent things so I was willing to give them a shot. When I first entered the restaurant it had a smell of dirty diapers...not very appetizing to say the least. I decided to proceed anyways which was a mistake. I approached the counter and all of the two employees standing in front of the registers had their backs turned to me, and didn't greet me. I told them this was my first time eating here, and all the guy said was, "For here or to go?" I was looking for some sort of assistance with their menu, but ya know how that goes... I chose a Gourmet Chick. I got a scoop of Fancy Nancy (apples, pecans, and grapes) a side of fresh fruit, and a side of broccoli salad), a pickle spear, and a cookie. It took forever to get my food, and when I got it I was highly disappointed. My scoop of Fancy Nancy was kind of warm, and had only one grape and two small pieces of apple in it. It wasn't even stirred in together right. My fresh fruit wasn't so fresh. The strawberries were kind of mealy and mushy. Not to mention that my bowl was barley filled with seven pieces of "not-so-fresh-fruit." My broccoli salad tasted good, but yet again the portion size was a joke. Also it was topped with soggy bacon. The cookie was good, and the pickle looked like it was half eaten off of... After I managed to eat my extremely overpriced meal, I was happy to leave that ill-managed, poor executed, sorry excuse for a franchise. I am never going to give my money to that establishment again and neither should you!! P.S. Just go to Hopkins Eatery across the street...they have chicken salad,..and it's wayyyyyy better. -Angry ex-customer
