Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Fantastic! Super fresh and authentic tasting mexican. I gobbled down on a massive burrito for lunch nothing i couldnt handle with my skill set. Prices were around 10 bucks for big ole tubular protien rich burrito but you are good a full after. Service was kind and friendly.

Great fast Mexican food! First you choose what you want: tacos, nachos, burrito, burrito bowl, salad ect. They have a lot of options for the meat that you put inside they even have a couple different types of chicken with different seasonings. I always choose the shredded chicken it has a little bit of spice but nothing too crazy. I switch off of what type of meal I get but I usually go for the burrito bowl because I feel like it comes with the most food. Once you choose what you want you go down a line and tell them what you want in it. I usually get rice, black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, chipotle sour cream, and queso (additional cost for queso). If you like chipotle flavor definitely try the chipotle sour cream, it adds a bit of a kick and a little extra flavor to the bowl or whatever you may get. Burrito Border also gives free chips with all the meals which is a plus. Tip: I use the chips to kind of make some nachos with my burrito bowl. In my opinion Burrito Border beats chipotle for Mexican fast food. They use very fresh ingredients, have large portions, queso!! and free chips! Can't get better than that!

A nice alternative to chipotle. They differentiate themselves by offering different types of tortillas, a wider range of salsas, and adding tortilla chips on the side. They also have $1 taco Tuesday's and a full bar. The price is just slightly higher than chipotle or qdoba. With that said, I wasn't the biggest fan of their salad bowl because of the quality of lettuce, but that doesn't make them different from your usual burrito joints that I mention earlier. Everything else we ordered was great and I have 0 complaints!

Burrito Boarder is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Tallahassee. The food is always super fresh and quick. The only thing that I would advise staying away from is their grind beef. It was tasteless and nothing like the other protein choices. I usually order through Grubhub.com because there are deals (JRKT012115B3O8R will get you 7$ off of 15$. You don't need to make an account, just say you don't want one). Dollar tacos on Tuesdays are also the BEST. You do need to purchase a drink in order to get the deal. *Updated coupon code because it ran out before

We stopped in for a late lunch. As it was our first time eating at Burrito Boarder the staff helped us navigate our way through the menu answering questions and offering suggestions. I had a Veg Out wet burrito. It was so big I brought half home for dinner. Tasty fresh food, great service, good prices.

Too expensive. Food is ok. I would not go out of my way to go here. Bar is small and the times i have been there there was no bartender. Had to get somebodies attention from food line..

I really wanted to like Burrito Boarder. In the end, I was just pissed off and hungry. When the parking lot is empty a month after opening, I should have known there was a problem. First of all the staff are really nice and the place looked very clean. I like the decor and the location can't be better. Now on to the food. We had three things: Queso and "cheeps", a bowl and a burrito. The queso was pretty tasty BUT it's so small I was wondering why I paid $3.99 for it. Seriously, it's like as big as a ketchup cup. There's no way a chip can fit in there, so dipping it out. The bowl was ordered with carnitas, pulled pork. My girlfriend loves the carnitas from Chipotle, so we wanted to compare. The staff dug around in the pork looking for "good pieces" for seriously 2-3 minutes. While I appreciate the staff digging out the good pieces, WHY does the staff have to dig out "good pieces"? It looked like it hadn't been stirred or touched since the last person ordered..hours ago. After seeing him dig around in the pork I decided to be safe and get the chicken because that's what everyone else was ordering. I did take a look at the ground beef and it also looked like it had been sitting for hours. Hard and crusty on top. The tortilla wasn't heated up and came from what looked like a store bought bag. Still more bad signs. I was happy because they have "fresh" onions and cilantro, one of the things I feel Chipotle is lacking. I used quotes around fresh because it wasn't at all fresh. The onions had been chopped up so long ago they were translucent and watery. Had I known that I would have passed. Gross. The staff kind of rolls your burrito around before they roll it up in order to mix the stuff. Well..the nasty watery onions basically ruined the entire thing. They tasted sour and I couldn't take a bite without getting a mouthful. Despite that this place is right by my house I just can't justify spending my hard earned money on old food. Sad.

Possibly the most underrated restaurant on this side of town. The food is always fresh, crunchy, and how it's supposed to taste. I've been there a few times and try to go as often as I can as I'd hate for this place to go out of business.

Burrito Boarder has some work to do in order to keep up with Tallahassee standards. I have always ordered their burrito bowls (which is rice, beans, your choice of meat and sides). I always feel that my dish could be warmer. The portion is a great size. Their queso and chips needs to improved. It taste great but Either lower the price or provide more cheese for their $3.99 price. They currently $1 taco tuesday after 2 pm. So if you haven't tried this place yet, I suggest to go that day. Its not a terrible place, just needs some work done

Like chipolte but waaay better. Prices are great. Drink choices are awesome. Music and atmosphere is perfect for a florida college spot. Food is bomb. Will return definitely.

The food here is not as tasty as chipotles in my opinion, but it's cheaper, there are never any lines, and the staff is friendlier. They have more veggies and they have queso! I only wish they'd get tofu like chipotle does now.

I really enjoy burrito boarder, they have delicious toppings and the meats are above franchise standards. Also, they mix up all the toppings in your burrito which for me is a huge plus over the competitors (moes, chipotle).

The dollar taco special is really good. The food is fresh and they have draft corona light, which I always get with the dollar taco special on Tuesdays.
