Great customer service!! I love Mediterranean food. I found this place through a friend's referral. The owner takes care of the customers: he presented the meals very well, he served and he entertained. I went three times to this place and it was pretty consistent and clean. The food was delicious! I remember kibbeh from my childhood :) More people need to know about this restaurant.

Found a a new Lebanese restaurant, grocery store and bakery that has been around for only 5 months. ~ Everything is made fresh daily by Executive Chef Wissam Tarhini. (see photo) Today we stopped by and tried the Baklava! ~ All house made: pistachio, walnut, and cashew ~ and Warbat. Chef Wissam brought us some Falafel and pickled turnips to try. Hot, fresh, crisp and well seasoned!! We will definitely stop back and try his other menus items ~ (see photo) Everything looked so good, and the Owner was so pleasant! They also cater! Cheers!

Have to say the food is excellent! We had appetizers of falfalel, hummus; both of which were of very good quality and taste. We split a dinner of the Special Mixed Grill - 2 shish Tawook, 2 Kefta, and 2 Kabobs. Amazing! Come hungry, you won't leave dissapointed!

I found this place by accident (I was looking for Israeli food but it was a holiday and the restaurants were closed). I was so glad because this food is fantastic. It was lunchtime and I just wanted something light - I had a babaganush with salad wrap, and couldn't wait to go back. Last night, I went back and brought my parents. We all loved our food - falafel wrap, vegetarian plate, and lamb plate. The food is great, portions are enormous, the restaurant is lovely - but possibly the most endearing thing about Al Amir Restaurant is Chef Wissam is so friendly and engaging. To say the service is fantastic is an understatement. If you like Middle Eastern Cuisine, you will love Al Amir. I checked "moderate" for pricing but there is a wide range. It depends on what you are looking for. It is definitely not expensive, and as I said, the portions are enormous.

The food was great but the service really sucked. First they brought two bottles of water, which they didn't ask if we wanted it. The serving of food was fine but when I had to pay, the server was asking me how much the tip needed to be. It should be up to me what to give not her. Also, when we checked over the bill, they were charging us for the two bottles of water. That left a bad taste for us. Never again.

Great quality. Super fresh! Baba ganoush and baklava were the best we ever had. Also the spinach pie was notably delicious. Very clean and the owner/chef was extremely friendly and welcoming. They have a nice selection of vegetarian options. We will definitely be returning and look forward to trying more on their menu!

I was looking for a Nova & Bagel and Bamm, there is a Lebanese Resteraunt and never saw it and I ran inside. To my surprise I was greeted by the real deal Lebanese Owner and we ordered & neXT time I will do it correctly.......order for 4 and share and try many of the Authentic Dishes. I ordered the Vegetarian sampler and it was good, but the Kabab and the many other dishes are some of my favorites.

I was excited to try this restaurant after reading mostly positive Yelp reviews. My friend drove up from Miami, too. Unfortunately, our dinner experience was not what we hoped for. The hummus was excellent, yet the pita was cold and dry. We both ordered the Mixed Grill entrees with lamb and chicken kebobs and kefta. The chicken and lamb while seasoned wonderfully were dry. The kefta was good.The grilled vegetables were too spicy, and we couldn't eat them. The restaurant was empty, and it took about 30 minutes for us to get our entrees. Maybe it was just an "off" Monday evening, but we would not go back.

I found this place by accident while looking for a quick bite to eat and I'm glad I did! I was greeted by the owner and ordered a falafel pita. While waiting I browsed through the small grocery section and noticed they also had a nice selection of Lebanese pastries and desserts. When the food came it food was super fresh and delicious! The prices were very reasonable and I will be coming back with my family for dinner very soon!

Al Amir is nestled in an older looking shopping plaza on NW 44 St between Pine Island and University. The interior was decorated decently but I was strictly here for takeout. Service was friendly which is a plus. I chose the lamb kebab pita ($6.99) which had chunks of lamb, onion, parsley, pickles (think Middle Eastern pickled pickles), and hummus. I'm used to round pitas that get sliced open and stuffed, but this one was rolled up like a burrito. The lamb was juicy and the onions and tomato were definitely fresh and crisp. I think there could've been a little more hummus inside and the pita itself was a little colder than the lamb. With the price of most appetizers and pitas being under $6, I would definitely go back and try everything (literally).

We had our office Christmas dinner here. Chef Wissam worked with our budget and delivered a magnificent dinner which included beautiful hors d'oeuvres, five types of delicious appetizers, two types of salads, soup, three types of entree, desserts, and whole fruits. The tables were set beautifully with fresh flowers and candles. Some of the pictures are posted. We had an amazing time. Thank you Chef Wissam. You are a very talented Chef. We are very lucky to have you in our community.

Finally an excellent and authentic Lebanese food in West Broward. You have to try Wissam's wrap which is a Lebanese Shawarma grilled in a wrap. it is very juicy and served with pickles. The menu is very rich, and there is a lot to choose from. At the end, every menu item is a must try.
