Shrimpers is one of those places I will continue to frequent because of the memories rather than the quality of the current experience. It's great if you have a boat and want to dine dockside, but honestly without the beautiful ride if you come by water, I can't say it's worth the trip. Signature menu items include anything made with "crunchy grouper," a secret breading that uses potato flakes to achieve, well, a very crunchy grouper. Stick with one of those and you should be fine, but don't venture to the healthy side of the menu. The prices nearly double if you want any sort of seafood grilled instead of fried, and the vegetable of the day is usually something that was once very frozen. Thankfully, fries are hard to screw up. Service is good and the ambiance is very Florida, but there are other places I would rather spend $60 for dinner for three.

Four of us ate. Three of us happy with our meals. Sterling merlot was ordered. What came was turning to vinegar. They agreed and opened a new bottle. Was better but still not good quality. Suspect mis-handling of the product. Salad arrived and the croutons were rancid. Service was OK, but it was getting busy. Prices good. Typical bar atmosphere. Might be better at lunch time. Good for bar-rats.

On the pricey side but the atmosphere is Awesome and the food is good. However when we arrived with company we ask for an outside table they said fine in about 20 mins. So we waited ,anyway another lady decided to have us all sit in a booth away from the outside. After deliberation we sat in the booth after explaining their were empty tables but she was not wavering. Our waiter was good but think waiting 15 mins for a 20 min table should have been ok .

Two stars because it wasn't horrible it wasn't great, it just was. To begin the hostess wasn't inviting or friendly, the fact we asked to sit on the patio seemed more like a chore as opposed to it just being something offered. After that we were left sitting for a while, other tables were getting served but we were left without much for a while there. Server came by after about 10 minutes of waiting, and while they weren't horrifically busy there was no excuse. Waitress was friendly and prompt once she did arrive and that was about it. As for the food it was alright. I've had better conch, it was under seasoned and bland, but it wasn't inedible it was cooked really well. The seating on the patio was nice and the view was nice. Like I said, I've had better seafood and I have had worse seafood this place was just eh. All in all it was an alright experience, the view made for it in that at least the water was nice and the breeze was nice. It's not one of my check it out places, there's way better out there.

Ordered an off the menu salad...swapped the tuna for grouper. Blackened Grouoer was tasty. There could have been more greens on the salad. Service was great! Location is right on the water. Pretty nice spot for a Sunday afternoon late lunch.

We come here every year, mostly for the atmosphere and Fritter. Fritter is an adorable yellow-crowned night-heron that frequents the outside seating area for handouts. The outside seating is nice and worth the wait (which can be long). I don't think I've ever been disappointed with a meal here, and have had some great ones. All in all a good, fun place for the whole family.

I love the location of this place. Fried seafood goodness is as expected. Fried and tasty. Drinks come quick and service is friendly.

This restaurant is hard to find. We even called for directions, and still had trouble. But once we were there, our seafood was good. One of our group had dolphin, and he said it was tasty. 2 of us had fried shrimp, and they were yummy. Prices were average and included a salad, bread and your choice of potato or rice pilaf. Service was OK. Atmosphere was cute for a marina restaurant.

Service was terrible, me and the wife had our retired in-laws with us, and Im not sure if the server thought he had us 'figured out' as Im sure he deals with a lot of older customers, but from on set he acted like we were more of a bother than anything. The saving grace of this restaurant was the food, which was good to above average. My wife ordered the Jambalaya which was amazing, and I think single handedly got Shrimpers its second star in my review. I believe our servers name was Ryan or Bryan, but either way he barely checked on us, and couldnt seem more interested to get rid of us. Even when my father in law tried to strike up some conversation. I can only assume the server was having a bad day, but cardinal rule in customer service should always be to suppress that somehow. Overall, the menu lacks imagination, and everything seems to be a little over priced in my humble opinion.

The atmosphere and view are the big winners for Shrimpers. The early bird specials before 6:30 are a plus as well. While I have to say most of the food is slightly better than average the Clam Chowder these people serve is probaby the best around, we love it. My last meal was the shrimp trio with conch chowder and salad with dill ranch dressing. I enjoyed it. They also have dockage for boats.

Despite buying more than what we actually ordered - as the server got out orders wrong, the appetizers were okay but the mains were bad. Also, I know its an open aired restaurant, but the size of the roach that crawled across the table next to me was kindof nasty. I loved you as a child shrimpers, but as an adult I've got to say my tastes have become a little more discerning and I would not recommend going here again.

Although I'm officially a Florida resident, at heart I'll always be an Upstate New York girl. Which means that any time I encounter a restaurant with a huge patio and a beachy feel, I become a fan by default. The outdoor environment of Shrimper's is fantastic. And I have to say that our server was fabulous. He made sure we were well taken care of despite how busy they were. For the most part the food was delicious.. I sampled a little bit of what everyone else had because I found an unpleasant "item" in my meal. I really don't want to bash them because it was something that could have happened at home. And they were very gracious about making up for the mishap. But it was enough to make me a bit queasy about ordering that dish again. The desserts were satisfying but not amazing and overall, the prices seemed to be reasonable.

Had lunch at Shrimpers with our friends It has a nice location and the drinks were decent. Had Mahi Mahi and it was OK, nothing special. Our waitress was a delight and made the lunch more enjoyable. But, we love eating at the waterfront so we might stop there again. Mal D.

Love Shrimpers! The first place we go when we go to Stuart. Nice atmosphere, great service, good food. Never had a bad experience or bad food.

Well, seems to me, that this is just another of those on-the-water places that attract tourists and locals in south Florida. A nice place to hang out for a drink and socializing, but the food is definitely mediocre. Very good service with a nice waterfront setting is the best I can say about it. This place is about atmosphere, not good food. If you're out to eat good seafood, there's lot's of better places in the area.

Great Key West style restaurant on the water and one of our favorite places to eat when we snowbird in Port St Lucie. My fav is the raw oysters.

  • Tim D.

This is a great little place right on the water in Stuart - boats welcome! The bartenders pour generous drinks, and the food comes in equally generous portions. It's a casual atmosphere at the bar or at a covered "outdoor" table, a great place to relax with friends. The smoked fish dip appetizer is a must, and the crunchy grouper is always a good bet for seafood lovers. Shrimpers also offers fare for the landlubbers, with good steaks and a variety of sandwiches and salads on the menu.

Wonderful Venue, my daughter loves to feed the fish from the dock. Nice and lively, the food is good pub grub, nothing special but good pub grub. The venue is one of the better in the area. We do go back regularly.

If you are wanting shrimp this is the place to go. Can get them just about any way you want them. They even broke out heaters when it was cold in early January.

  • David N.

Great location and sitting at one of the two inside bars is your best bet. I love this place for one reason--Negra Modelo on tap. Have been here twice. Not my favorite food in the area, most of it fried making the seafood obscure to the taste. Service was a bit in-experienced. My suggestion, sit at the bar, have a few drinks and some light things to snack on.

  • Vania L.

Left much to be desired. The location and atmosphere are fantastic but the food was bland. I had the bait box pasta. Calamari was over cooked and there was to much sauce and not enough flavor. It was a group of 10 and all the food came out together and without any errors, a plus. I would return but would probably order some deep fried fish.

    (2)
  • Alex S.

We didn't like the calamari at all! Don't get it, it's all rings... And I've read some bad things about those. However the waitress was awesome! She took them off our bill after noticing we didn't eat them. We would have paid for them :)

3 star is about right. Another spot with great drinks and to watch the boats go by. Skip the food, even the appetizers. Friendly staff! Great atmosphere!

This is my mom's favorite restaurant and I decided to take her here for her birthday. We've been here before and I've always enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed with the broiled scallops, but I thought that the Bait Box my mom got was delicious. She in turn wished she had gotten the lobster like she usually did. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Either way, the service was prompt and the portions good.

I thought this place would be yet another restaurant which makes money off of its view while everything else sucks. But I was wrong. Our server was awesome. Beer was cold. Menu was pretty boring/ but as I looked around at the mostly senior crowd I figured they were mostly catering to a plain Jane crowd. There are few times at a restaurant where I look at a menu and struggle to find something interesting enough to order. This was one of those times. So, I went with the stuffed cod that was alright. Unmemorable for sure. It came with crisp, perfectly cooked green beans, and I ordered the tomato based conch chowder which tasted like Manhattan clam chowder and was light on conch. But it was good. So was the fresh bread which was definitely home made. Overall it was probably a 3.5 star experience but our server was fantastic and they had above average high chairs for our baby. :)

This used to be my favorite place to go. I don't know what happened over the past year but its not the same. The food has become subpar, when asked what happened, the waitress replied new cook and he does it his way, which is not good- I will NOT be back as I have given it 2 more chances. To my understanding, the cook came from Cowboys BBQ, he was decent there but not at Shrimpers

Boat landing that I did when I drove here, B+ Beer, A- Food quality, C+ (I had a fish sandwich and fries... neither very good) Getting the boat underway and away from the dock, A- 2.5 stars. End of report.

  • Raechel C.

I'm going to have it give it a 3. Service and food were okay and the area we were sitting in, was super hot abs didn't have a lot of ventilation. I ordered the sesame ahi tuna and it tasted overcooked. It was a holiday weekend when we came so maybe coming another time would be better.

    (3)
  • Jessica S.

Excellent atmosphere on the water. Our server Tyler was very friendly and attentive. It's a casual place that's good for all ages and groups. We ordered many appetizers that were all very good: peel and eat shrimp, beer battered onion rings, buffalo shrimp, fish tacos, and chicken fingers. I'd definitely go back.

  • Ben D.

I guess the only reason this place stays in business is the location. You would think a place that has been around as long as Shrimpers has it would have at least decent food. Every time I eat here it's worse than the time before I would not recommend eating here unless you want the entertainment of feeding your seafood to the resident heron Fritter.

I really wanted to find a reason to give this place a good review, but there wasn't much going for it this visit. The place was moderately busy for a Sunday afternoon, but not overcrowded or rushed. There were a lot of servers walking around, but still the service was subpar, and although our server was friendly, we hardly saw her and we had to wait at least 5 minutes after sitting down to place our drink orders. Overall the general speed of service seemed hit or miss. The food was bland to say the least. I ordered the fried grouper reuben, and the only redeeming thing about it was the tartar sauce I ordered after my food already came out. Now I'm not saying the food was bad, it was just not anything to write home about. However, the atmosphere and the waterfront location were nice! I've previously come here on my boat and docked it there, and people were getting served on their boats. Just a stereotypical South Florida waterfront restaurant. Besides that, though, I wasn't very impressed this time around.

  • Christina T.

This is a nice outdoor eating area right on the water. However, the food was nothing spectacular. I had the raw oysters and grouper Reuben. Grouper Reuben was not the best I've had but decent. Raw oysters were good. I also had a Key West beer. With so many waterfront restaurants in Stuart, this one didn't jump out from any other the other ones. Service was great-4stars.

  • Chris A.

The waitress was amazing! As soon as my drink was low it was replaced. We ordered the wings, coconut shrimp both delicious. The cod sandwich...fresh! Fresh! Fresh! It's a little expensive but worth it. If your lucky to sit on the outside the view is wonderful!

  • Andrea E.

The ambience of this place is excellent - you can eat outside and drink your tropical drink while watching the pelicans and boats cruise on the water. The food was not so great - the calamari was rubbery and flavorless and my chicken sandwich's bun was ridiculously soggy. The fries weren't very good either. The cole slaw was super bland too. Also, they wouldn't let us pay the bill with more than three credit cards so we had to make some adjustments... Kinda inconvenient.

  • Lindsay B.

Great view, service is decent, food is good but the drinks weren't great. Conch fritters are delicious, seafood is very fresh. I really loved the conch soup it was yummy. Oysters are pretty small. Overall, worth checking out but not on a frequent basis.

    (3)
  • Matt C.

Came here on a recommendation, got the conch bisque...terrible...tasted like canned soup that they added canned conch to...incredibly salty. Also got the blackened grouper. No flavor..no seasoning. Overall nice place for a drink....that's it.

  • LJ B.

My husband and I ate here today and food was OK. If it is really hot you may want to avoid this place because it is all open air......no air conditioning.....but it does have a nice waterfront location. I had the Chowder which was a bit thick and overloaded with thyme flavor, but otherwise palatable. I also ordered the clam strips which I sent back ......rubbery and no flavor and obviously from a frozen package. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp in place of the clams which were much better although light on the coconut flavor. My husband had the crispy grouper sandwich which was good, but not great. Overall service was a bit lax, but OK. Prices were average. Atmosphere was really enjoyable.

  • Debby Q.

Had a great experience! I was surprised figured it might be a tourist trap, waitress was very friendly! The hot bread was so delicious! We had coconut shrimp - yum the raspberry horseradish was good! Ordered shrimp scampi and crunchy grouper parmesan and would order again! Recommend this place!!

We travelled here in a boat with 11 people on a Saturday for lunch. There were all different meals, one waitress and it was excellent. Server was good, food good, drinks good, no issues here for us.

    (4)
  • Anna V.

Nice location on the water but nothing amazing about the food. Food seemed to be of decent quality but lacked flavor. I got the coconut shrimp- they were ok, but slightly over cooked. Came with a strawberry horseradish dipping sauce which was terrible. I didn't even taste the potatoes that came with it but they looked ok. We went to meet with some family that was in from out of town and were staying in that area that wanted something kid friendly, it definitely was. Nice, pleasant, helpful staff.

    (2)
  • Ronn S.

Food was good but service was not up to par. no water offered, not all of the sides dishes were delivered. When you have a packed house in season the manager should have enough wait staff to handle their guests. Ronn the hole in the wall food guy.

  • Tom C.

Great waterfront dining. Fresh fish, good service, and (since it's next to a boat storage dock) it feels very "Florida". Worth a visit.

  • Walt O.

Always great food with a view. Classic waterside Old Florida joint. Large portions, go hungry. Bloody Mary's all in with Shrimp garnish, almost a meal. Have Three!

Great spot right on the water! The Crunchy Grouper Reuben sandwich was delicious and the service was excellent! The seating right on the dock with an excellent view of the water can't be topped in Stuart.

Headed to the water for lunch today and the experience was pretty flawless. I would rate the overall experience and food at a 4.5, but rounded up to 5 because I couldn't think of a valid reason to drop it to a 4. The atmosphere was perfect. I sat outside on the patio by the water. Temperature in the 70's. Ample shade. The staff was more than welcoming as well as friendly, quick and attentive. The food was equally great. I had the grouper fish sandwich which is a specialty. The breading was unique and had a crisp that really was perfect. The fish inside was light, flaky and extremely moist. I couldn't have done it any better myself. I like craft beers. The selection of typical cheap beers was disappointing, however, they had the local Key West Ale on tap. That worked out perfect. The only negative criticism of my lunch would be the sweet potato fries. They were pretty generic and did not stand out. Again, they were not supposed to be the star of the meal so I can easily forgive them for that. A really great seafood lunch, on the water, in a relaxing environment. I will more than likely stop back for lunch while I'm in Stuart this week as I'm eager to try a few other items on the menu.

    (5)
  • Kim N.

The two stars were for the view and service. The seafood was old and fishy. We told our waitress and she immediately apologized and the manager came over and apologized as well. Handled professionally and removed it from our bill. It they could get fresh seafood and and a chef to properly prepare they would have the trifecta.

  • Nick A.

Great place on the water for sandwiches. Entrees aren't the greatest, but it's not that type of place. They serve great bread before the meals, too. Cracked conch sandwich is incredible. Tender, crispy, fried chunks of conch overflowing from the sandwich. A must try. My wife always get the Philly Cheesesteak and says it's the best she's had

  • Richard N.

Visited the area for a week to work, and was told this was 'the place' for shrimp lovers. I couldn't chew the things. They were as tough as an old shoe. Won't be back anytime soon for sure. Hope they find someone who really knows how to prepare shrimp though.

    (2)

Nice place on the water in Stuart. Had the Grouper Sandwich which was great, a Ceaser salad, and blackened shrimp. Beer was ice cold. If you're in the area I recommend you stop in.

  • Clare D.

The conch fritters were seriously good, better than my partner Robyn's lobster tail tempura and my jerk dolphin dishes, both of which were fine dishes. On a sunny day, the deck out back is the best place to eat and enjoy the marina scenery. The drinks were a little watered-down, the worst of which is their "special" Cool-ossal Toxic Pocket Punch, a fruity neon green concoction with a gummy shark floating among the ice cubes, no doubt a play on Florida's toxic algae problem.

It'll do. I had the crunchy shrimp for lunch. It wasn't bad. Great view and has that wharf bar and grill aesthetic. Atmosphere over quality.

Disgraceful in every way . First and foremost in my alarm, I wanted to immediately contact the Sheriff's Dept. to report a decomposing human corpse within the surrounding area of this establishment until my husband pointed out the stomach turning stench was coming from rotting oyster shells strewn about the outside of the property. I certainly hope this place is disposing of un-eaten leftovers properly and not trying to "recycle" them for some strange purpose. I going to urge the health dept., to at least look into this. The stench, rodents, roaches, and flys, no thank you. I should have insisted we not go in but husband was really hungry. Upon entry some manager "Paul" I think, I overheard was belittling an employee in such an embarrassing and cruel manner my husband then said lets go. No body should be treated like this, inexcusable. My husband wanted to confront him however at this point he couldn't bear the previously mentioned stink of the place. We ultimately ended up at a place called Crabby across the street and had a delightful meal. I'm sure everyone is going to read about the filth at Shrimpers if not see it on the news first.

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday at sat outside at the river. It's a great view and it was enjoyable sitting outside and watching the boats and stand-up paddle boarders. The service and the food were both excellent. I had the sesame ginger seared tuna salad. The tuna was seared perfectly and the ginger dressing was tasty. My husband had the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer and the coconut shrimp for his entree. He enjoyed every bite. My niece had the Portabello mushroom salad and loved it. We left nothing on our plates! The atmosphere is relaxed and the musician playing the kettle drums added to that. We will be back on our next visit to Stuart. Lots of other interesting choices on their menu to try!

Years ago this used to be a pretty good place but either my taste has refined or their quality has dropped. Their chowder is still good but everything else tastes like fried from frozen bulk shipped fish. Not bad to meet for drinks or appies (don't order the calamari) but not so much for lunch or dinner.

  • Joyce L.

Really good food, I don't deny that. Atmosphere is great and location is nice. But the service - holy cow! Here's the thing: tonight our server made me feel like an unworthy patron because he couldn't understand the way I pronounce 'tuna salad', then refused to take the mistaken order back and insisting I order the shrimp + fruit salad. He continued to refuse to take it back until I almost got up and walked out. Let me back up here by saying I have an English/ Australian accent. I have lived in the US long enough to know when to speak slower, and use analogies where needed to get my point across. So yeah, I have gotten fed in restaurants anywhere from Central California (farm country), to the biggest cities. Heck I can even modify my speech enough to hold long, meaningful conversations with the bf's elderly (American) grandparents. It's been hours and it is still baffling to me how the waiter got 'shrimp' from 'tuna'. It seems him, and his fellow workmates, are more concerned about giving fellow workmates winks, nudges and back rubs (just friendly? Flirting? I don't know). This place have so much potential but tonight I didn't get their A-game. Is the food that much better for me to look pass the service? I don't think so.

The view...incredible. Service was also good. Food...so so. I had the grouper (special). I thought it could have been better. Fried Calamari and Tempura Shrimp...not impressive. Limited Flavor. The Conch chowder - that was tasty. Had a nice bit. Overall, I would recommend this place for drinks overlooking the water. Other than that, I will not be going back.

I have been to this restaurant now several times and it is a hit or miss. This time I ordered the cracked conch and it was way overcooked and extremely chewy :-( my girlfriend got the scallops broiled in some kind of lemon butter sauce which came out very good and was cooking perfect. The appetizer that we got was the fried calamari and it was extremely greasy and way overcooked nothing special at all. The stuff seemed a bit agitated but Dont know why. Our server was slow and forgot drinks and must have forgotten to put our order in because it took forever for the fried food to come out and fried food does not take long at all

Went for lunch on the boat and was in a little bit if a hurry. The waitress was amazing! 3 dozen oysters, 2 orders if steamed mussels, cracked conch, blackened dolphin sandwich, chicken salad platter and a fried clam platter. All very good and reasonably priced. Beers and all for around $150. Will be back.

With a name like "Shrimpers" you'd think ordering shrimp would be a good choice. You'd be wrong. Absolutely the worst shrimp I have ever, ever tried to eat. The breading was so bad that I scraped it off. It was not only tasteless but so crunchy it made it difficult to eat. Not sure if it was overcooked or what. Waitstaff was OK, but when we were waiting for our menu's I wandered out and asked the hostess what was the special(I'd seen a sign outside regarding shrimp) and she replied...."I wouldn't have a clue", and believe me, she didn't. When we left, I observed it was a stationery sign advertising the "sunset shrimp" which is unfortunately what I had ordered. We've recently moved here, enjoy trying out new places and we can cross this one off our list.

Other than being on the water there is no reason to go to this restaurant. The food is very ordinary at best. There are many better choices both on the water and inland. I gave it 2 stars only because of its locatio.

Shrimper's Grill is the happening place in Stuart. The bar and grill hosted a huge crowd on friday night. It is located right on the waterfront - and is a supurb open air bar and restaurant. The bar is hopping and happening .... With every table in the place occupied we got super, friendly service. We got there in the evening, before reservations become mandatory and come at a premium, and experienced a wonderful time. The drinks were cool and the shrimp platters were excellent. We tasted and shared the "Sunset Shrimp Specials." Starting with BBQ shrimp, and Coconut shrimp - then moving on to Teriaki shrimp and the "house favorite" - crunchy fried shrimp. I much prefered the savory taste of the two grilled shrimp platters. The sunset special comes witha cup of chowder, so I tried the Conch chowder and found it to be spicey and supurbly flavorful. The bar has an excellent selection of "tropical " drinks, so I decided on a Rum Runner.... found it to be very sweet and had to wash it down with a Landshark beer from Margaritaville brewing co. Excellent seafood on the water. An excellent view of the harbor. The ocean at sunset ..... What more can you ask ???

I don't get it, this place is fun and lively, but the last few times there is seemed dirty and smelled like a frat basement with stale beer (maybe that's cool for some). Overall most food was fried, which may account for my lack of appreciation and understanding.

Lots of fun. Crowded. Good drinks. Appetizers and mixed seafood platter are good choices. I like Oysters Romanoff(caviar, etc), Bahama lobster bites, Conch chowder.

Looking for a waterfront restaurant we found this on yelp and Tripadvisor. We arrived at 5:45 on Sunday and were immediately seated. Clean and busy bar and grill. They offered earlybird specials and we had the crunchy shrimp, coconut shrimp specials for 9.95 and one order of the crunch grouper. Sides were large and meal was served hot and were good sized servings. Our waitress was attentive and was even able to give us directions to the beach - Thanks Sarah! Steel drum musician was playing when we left. Would recommend for casual, good meal. Clam chowder was very good.

Best conch chowder in the Stuart area. Also, nice place to go by boat because it has protected dockage. Very good fresh fish dishes as well.

I agree with the good reviews above, but they left out an important aspect that makes this restaurant even better; it is one of the few in the area that has protected dockage for your boat!

Ordered an off the menu salad...swapped the tuna for grouper. Blackened Grouoer was tasty. There could have been more greens on the salad. Service was great! Location is right on the water. Pretty nice spot for a Sunday afternoon late lunch.

3 star is about right. Another spot with great drinks and to watch the boats go by. Skip the food, even the appetizers. Friendly staff! Great atmosphere!

I'm going to have it give it a 3. Service and food were okay and the area we were sitting in, was super hot abs didn't have a lot of ventilation. I ordered the sesame ahi tuna and it tasted overcooked. It was a holiday weekend when we came so maybe coming another time would be better.

I guess the only reason this place stays in business is the location. You would think a place that has been around as long as Shrimpers has it would have at least decent food. Every time I eat here it's worse than the time before I would not recommend eating here unless you want the entertainment of feeding your seafood to the resident heron Fritter.

  • Matt C.

Came here on a recommendation, got the conch bisque...terrible...tasted like canned soup that they added canned conch to...incredibly salty. Also got the blackened grouper. No flavor..no seasoning. Overall nice place for a drink....that's it.

Years ago this used to be a pretty good place but either my taste has refined or their quality has dropped. Their chowder is still good but everything else tastes like fried from frozen bulk shipped fish. Not bad to meet for drinks or appies (don't order the calamari) but not so much for lunch or dinner.

  • Ronn S.

Food was good but service was not up to par. no water offered, not all of the sides dishes were delivered. When you have a packed house in season the manager should have enough wait staff to handle their guests. Ronn the hole in the wall food guy.

Great waterfront dining. Fresh fish, good service, and (since it's next to a boat storage dock) it feels very "Florida". Worth a visit.

The two stars were for the view and service. The seafood was old and fishy. We told our waitress and she immediately apologized and the manager came over and apologized as well. Handled professionally and removed it from our bill. It they could get fresh seafood and and a chef to properly prepare they would have the trifecta.

Visited the area for a week to work, and was told this was 'the place' for shrimp lovers. I couldn't chew the things. They were as tough as an old shoe. Won't be back anytime soon for sure. Hope they find someone who really knows how to prepare shrimp though.

Nice place on the water in Stuart. Had the Grouper Sandwich which was great, a Ceaser salad, and blackened shrimp. Beer was ice cold. If you're in the area I recommend you stop in.

Other than being on the water there is no reason to go to this restaurant. The food is very ordinary at best. There are many better choices both on the water and inland. I gave it 2 stars only because of its locatio.

  • Ryan D.

  • Aimee E.

Mal D.
