Lived in Stuart from 2003 always ate here. I moved away a couple of years ago when I'm back I beeline for this cafe. The food is always good no matter what. Try the pastrami sandwich The deserts are great also

Staff was very friendly. Food was mediocre at best, and definitely not worth what they were charging. My father had the French toast which was unimpressive both by taste and appearance. $9.50 for a BLT is a bit steep.

Went at lunchtime and for us it was just so so. We got a sandwich special and the soup and sandwich special and they were just so so. My sandwich was missing a few of the ingredients and it just wasn't that tasty...I feel we paid a lot for sandwiches that were just average, will not go back.

My friends and I were all meeting up for a brunch after an awesome wedding the previous night here in downtown Stuart. We called ahead at 9am with seating for 12 and waited for about 2+ hours to only be told that it would be impossible for us al to sit together, when clearly there were tables and room to put them together. No one even tried to help us and we tried being very patient, but had to leave to go to another restaurant. Very unpleasant and unhelpful!

Called ahead for an 11 person party...1.5hrs ahead. Arrived and patiently waited for the table seating that never came. Customer service goes a long way and Osceola Street Cafe is seriously lacking in that department. I would give zero stars if I could but my app won't let me post a review without a star.

Breakfast / lunch cafe in the center of downtown Stuart. Nice change of pace from the chains and snooty restaurants throughout the area. Service was friendly and the menu offered a good range of options w/o overreaching. Good amt of indoor/outdoor seating. Beer & wine available.

Love going here for breakfast (brunch). We recently took out-of-town visitors there for breakfast, sat outside and had a great time. Serve your own coffee which is great because you can blend their selections and refill anytime you want. The daily special is usually good. They vary their daily potato selection and the roasted ones were very good, seasoned just right.. Out-of-season lets you go to the counter to place your order so you can order when you're ready, not when the busy staff can get to you. They do bring the food to your table. Great experience.

Spiced Chai was great, limited menu but a couple really good items, potato pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs benny and shrimp and grits are all really good, nice atmosphere however it's hard to get around inside due to the table set up.

This place must hate making money. I can't imagine why else they'd have the hostess they have. I've had trouble with this woman before, but on my last visit I was really impressed with her incompetence. I was forced to wait while several other parties were sat before me. In fact, I ended up leaving because she wouldn't seat us. I normally like the food here, but eating here just isn't worth the hassle. I guess they aren't concerned with local/repeat business, which is fine by me. There are plenty of breakfast places that will actually treat me well. I'll never make the mistake of trying to eat here again.

For the second time now, I've tried to eat at Osceola Street Cafe based on a friend's recommendation. While I'm sure the food and service are fine once you get passed the hostess (an older blonde lady), the hostess herself was so inept BOTH times that I simply had to leave for fear of causing a scene. On my first attempt, multiple parties the same size as ours that arrived after ours with no reservation were sat before us. We put our name and party size in correctly, but when I questioned her on it, she became rude and defensive rather than own her mistake and simply seat us next. We left. My second experience has left me so disgusted that I find myself unable to put it into words without growing angry and writing obscenities/being offensive. I downloaded the Yelp app just to write this! Suffice to say, the older blonde hostess is not good at her job. I will never go back to Osceola Street Cafe.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Food was delicious - definitely try to the shrimp & crab + risotto cake. Service was great for the most part, however, we had an 8pm reservation, and by 8:45pm they had started to clean up/close down around us. I felt for the people who came in at 8:30pm - they hadn't even had their entrees and the broom was out! I understand wanting to be efficient with time, but it it didn't make for a pleasant atmosphere as we ate, and we definitely didn't want to stay for coffee and dessert. If you eat here, come early,

Went here on a recommendation. The service was excellent. The vegetarian melt was outstanding. Most vegetarian sandwiches are neglected but this has avocado spread, banana peppers, sprouts, and plenty of other veg to give it flavor. The soups were great and everyone enjoyed their food. My coffee was really high quality.

Fantastic! We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The last time we ate there was for dinner with an out of town guest. Superb. My snapper du jour was wonderful, and my husband's scallops were beautiful. I have had the quiche for breakfast, and their salads for lunch. All very well made. Highly recommend this downtown cafe.

Stopped here for the first time yesterday ~ had a fabulous veggie sandwich on delicious toast grain bread! Already for another one! The salads brought to the table were rich and lush, loaded with fresh fresh lettuces and a scoop of homemade hummus; the dressings were extremely tasty!!! Everyone loved their dishes and the wait staff was charming and quick to answer all of our "1st timer" questions!!! We will be back!!!

Being a local I've been going to this cafe on and off for a few years. I decided to go to breakfast and am sad to say I won't make that mistake again. The cafe wasn't busy and everyone that came in after me had already received their food. The food was okay but the service was awful, my order was clearly forgotten and I had an employee approach me asking if I was there for lunch when I replied with saying that I was there for breakfast he informed me breakfast was over. When I told him I already ordered breakfast he told me he would check on my order for me. Finally I received my meal over half an hour late. I guess yogurt parfait is hard to make.

We had lunch here and I ordered the JD chicken Pannini...it was delicious and beautiful. We split that and the pastrami Reuben that was also good, but we both did enjoy the chicken pannini the most. We will definitely come back!

Another great lunch at the Osceola Cafe. Consistently good food and service. This place has never let us down with fresh bread, good soups and salad. Perfect spot for a glass of wine or cup of coffee with lunch or breakfast. Excellent desserts, too.

This is purely for the breakfast menu! Nothing special, but we were hungry which made things taste better. We had the bacon, egg and cheddar muffin and bacon, egg and cheddar croissant sandwich. Nothing extraordinary but is a local breakfast/lunch hotspot. They do have an assortment of coffee beans but didn't try. We might go back for lunch/dinner to test their full menu.

Tables take up a nice fenced in 2 parking spots out front! Simple good food. Order at the counter, get your coffee or beverage and find a table - there are tables outside - taking up a nice little fenced in area. We split and omelete and roasted potatoes, a coffee and a coke - all under $15. Happy staff. Nice place, I'd visit again. Its near the riverwalk sp take a nice stroll and walk off your meal!

Let me take this place down off the pedestal I put them on. Our office just ordered a few items for breakfast and also received a complimentary ass pounding. They charge separate for each item. So, a sausage/egg/cheese on a croissant raped us as follows (from the receipt): Scrambled egg 3.00 Add sausage 1.25 Add cheddar .85 Add croissant .75 Add tax Got charged $6.20 for a simple egg sandwich. Same thing across the street at Bagel Brothers is less than $4.00 I'll remember that for next time.

Service for this place was great. Even on a busy brunch sunday everything was good to go and we were seated immediately. I love the cafe atmosphere. I was really hoping the food would be a lot better than the service. The sausage biscuits were really bland and boring. The grits were not soupy and more like a big piece of cornbread. We were not impressed with this brunch at all.

Hubs and I ate here with the in-laws, and we all loved it. The weather was gorgeous, and we got to eat outside and enjoy a pleasant spring evening together. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. The food was tasty. I would go here again and recommend it to friends.

I drove up to Stuart to meet my mom for lunch today. I chose Osceola Street Cafe based on Yelp reviews, as they usually don't fail me. Today they did. I started off by standing awkwardly at a small table at the front door with a hand written sign that said, "Please wait to be seated." And wait I did.. for at least 5 minutes before a guy who looked like management even glanced at me. As he breezed by, he said "I'll be with you in a minute." 5 minutes later he finally comes back and asks my name. Doesn't say a wait time, doesn't say anything else.. just walks away. Feeling a little agitated, I waited outside for my mom to arrive. About another 5 minutes, the same man who took my name calls me in. He doesn't walk me to my table, no no.. he walks PAST me and says under his breath "your seat is inside to the left." Seriously?! I sit down.. then wait some more. About 8 minutes later a waitress finally decides to come my way to say hello and ask me what I want to drink. My water and cappuccino come out pretty quickly... but not too quick to where a hair wouldn't be in my cappuccino. Yum. =/ My mom eventually shows up (she would get lost inside of a paper bag), and then we wait some more. Our waitress finally notices that my mom arrived and gets her drink order in. The pattern of waiting continues throughout this whole ordering, eating, and getting the bill process. It was utterly ridiculous. My mom did enjoy her veggie melt, and my Mediterranean salad was good (albeit very small for the price for having no meat in it). I will not meet my mom for lunch here ever again. The little strip this place is on is cute with enough restaurants for me to choose from for me to pay someone to pretend I don't exist.

The food was very good, and the coffee was REALLY good. (Believe me, that is saying something coming from a Northwesterner in South Florida). However, the service was lethargic at best. Unattentive, with poor attention to detail. When asked if we wanted water we said sure and our server "turned-and-burned" before we could say "...and two coffee's as well". So we waited...10 minutes later we got our water, then ordered coffee, which took 10 more minutes...then ordered food...which took (no kidding) AN HOUR, with no follow-up, apologies or even so much as a coffee refill. Then when I finally asked where our food was and if I could get more coffee, I got a little but of attitude. My coffee still beat our food to the table and it was cold/gone before the food arrived. Then we got the bill. We each had black coffee...and I got charged for a refill. Not pleased. Too bad since the food and coffee were good. Two stars...because the food was actually good. Bad service is NOT acceptable. Management needs to get involved on the front line and lay down some expectations to their servers.

We are snow birds and are constantly looking for a new place to enjoy ourselves. We stumbled on this restaurant accidentally. We enjoyed the outdoor ambience of this restaurant so much, we ate here twice. The setting, the food, and the service are all wonderful. For what you get in terms of innovation and food quality, the restaurant is very reasonably priced. The coffee flows freely. The hostess is warm. This was overall a great find and a delightful dining experience.

You'll find this place on the very walkable, low scale Osceola Street. Eat inside or outside on a nice day on their deck that annexed some parking spaces. On a recent visit to Stuart, wife and I stopped in for lunch. It was a good sign that all the tables were taken and we had to wait a few minutes. Why is that good? The locals like it, but it's not been trendified yet so it wasn't overly crowded. My California Ceasar Salad with chicken was delicious. It had an abundance of grilled chicken pieces, avocados, chopped tomatoes and the dressing was light and tangy. Wife had some kind of a chicken Panini, which I sampled. It was also delicious. Our waitress was only OK. She couldn't keep up with the empty water glasses and dropped off the check in a hurry without picking up the dishes off our table. Another waitress came by and got them, somewhat apologetically. I know, I'm being picky. On the plus side, she was very nice.

Got seats at the bar on a busy weekend night. Food was great along with friendly and knowledgable service. My wife, son and I all loved our meals. We all ordered the fish dishes. Music entertainment was a single but very talented guitarist and singer. She played and sang standards and new hits. We will make this a regular favorite.

cool neighborhood cafe where everyone practically knows each other. if you are sitting in a table by yourself, it most likely means you're a newbie. got a soy latte (ehh) and belgium waffle wednesday with strawberry, bananas, walnut, and powdered sugar ($5). nice comfy seats and table to meet up with friends or to read. good ambiance and noise level. walk around the neighborhood afterwards; its small and cute.

Food was delicious! I have the chicken panini wrap and it was so good! The waitress was so friendly and so polite! (Something a New Yorker like me is not used to at all!) They were fast with bringing out the food and made sure everything was great as we ate. Family members in the area say this is a real hot spot in the morning for breakfast but I surely enjoyed lunch!

The food is always well prepared with the freshest of ingredients.... But along with the great food is the outstanding service every single day .... It starts with a welcome by Todd who takes you to your table and continues with hall the staff .... It's my favorite place in Stuart by far !

What a surprise to find such a great little place in Stuart. It's treacherous ground around here, I think this town has every chain restaurant in creation serving up Vegas food. So I am new to town and, thanks to the yelps out there I found my go to place for a nice dinner out. Ambitious creative dinner menu. I had Shrimp Scampi in roasted garlic butter with a mozzarella risotto cake. Oh man. That was absolute food heaven. T got the salmon with five onion cream and could not have been happier. This place made us miss our San Francisco home where great food was always in abundance. But it is turning out to be fun times finding the gems. Osceola Street Cafe is one of them. I can't wait to run through the menu.

We love this restaurant! Wonderful food and atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunate piece of news, however. Last week we had dinner, and our friend ordered scallops. Next day she was terribly sick. Called the manager to let them know - that's the polite thing to do. Manager was very defensive; did not apologize. Suggested that it was probably something that our friend ate earlier in the day. I will still go to this restaurant, but I just have to say I was disappointed with the customer relations.

The outside patio furniture was wet but it was sunny out so we asked if someone could come wipe the furniture off. Rather than come out and wipe it themselves, the girl behind the counter threw my friend a towel. Then, when we were wiping the furniture off ourselves a male worker came out and told us the furniture was wet and we could wipe it down if we wanted to sit there (as he saw us wiping it down). Never did he stop, even though he was standing at the table, to wipe it down himself. The staff here is completely worthless.

Eggs Benedict gets 5 stars! The wait is just usually really long and brunch and breakfast hours are in a short window. Had a sandwich for lunch another time and wasn't anything to write home about. Server wasn't great the last time but was average the other couple times. Took a few minutes to be greeted when walked in. Self serve coffee was nice!

We stopped in for lunch for the first time. They were pretty busy for a weekday lunch. I ordered a special they had... It was a steak salad. I should have asked what else was on it... I admit, that was my mistake. It came with a huge amount of blue cheese and black olives. I don't like either. The dressing was sun-dried tomato... ehh.... The steak was more like cheap cheesesteak steak. I was not impressed. However, my husband ordered a spinach salad and a sandwich. He loved both of them. I liked the atmosphere as a little cafe with outdoor seating. The service was attentive, especially since they were really busy. I will go back again, and just ask what I'm ordering before I decide!

We were wandering up back to Vero Beach from Palm Beach and found some great reviews about this place on yelp. I wanted to try out something interesting so we made our way over from 95. It's not too far from the interstate (about 6 miles) and easy to find once you find some parking on the street. We must have arrived at the right time (Saturday @ 5:30) because there was no one around and we were seated immediately (even though the hostess had asked if we had a reservation). Throughout our meal many people started arriving! Make Reservations! The place filled up by the time we left. We sat outside on the deck and it was very nice! Service was prompt and food came out quickly and was REALLY delicious. We had the Pear & Gorgonzola salad, crab cakes (to die for), Black Grouper with Bananas Foster (YUM), Shrimp and Crab Scampi in Garlic Butter (Delish!) and Artichoke Flatbread. For dessert we had FRESH Key Lime Pie, Creme Brulee, and Fresh Berry Pie... Try the house wines here! Good value! Overall, EXCELLENT. We will be coming back here very soon and bringing friends! If you get over to Stuart or are coming North from visiting down South. You need to stop here! Plus the area of Stuart is really nice!

We had an awesome dining experience at the Osceola Street Cafe. We arrived at about 5:30 on a Saturday without a reservation. We were seated immediately even though the restaurant appeared crowded. Wam bread with oil arrived as we were seated. Josh was an excellent waiter, but the whole staff was attentive without being intrusive getting refills or taking dishes out of the way. The lighting, music, sound were conducive to an intimate meal. The salad was very tasty with fresh avocado and vinagrette dressing on the side. The gorgonzola was flavorful as well. The brocolini flat bread was crisp and an excellent blending of seasonings. We were wonderfully surprised with the swordfish. The portion was enough for the two of us. Buttery and tender with modest searing made for a perfect entree. My wife had a chocolate brownie with chocolate icing and chocolate drizzle garnished with strawberries this was to die for in her words. I had the key lime pie which was awesome! Loved the crispy gaze on top and custard consistency. The crust was also moist and held together well. The Willamette variety pinot noir was a great complement to my meal. We look forward to our next trip to downtown Stuart to feast again at the Osceola Street Cafe!

We are locals and we strive to support our local merchants. So, we have eaten here on numerous occasions for years. While the food can be good, creative and fresh, the wait is now unbearable. Last night we arrived at 5:30pm in order to make a 7pm Lyric show. Two people. 2 salads with grilled shrimp. Only 3 other equally small parties in restaurant when we Ordered. An hour later and multiple requests for our dinner was met with a dismissive response. After seeing many other patrons receive their dinner, whom had arrived long after us, we walked out. With only 23 minutes to our show, we grabbed a frozen yogurt down the street. Pitiful service. Will never return.

Food is absolutely delicious, but portions are small and prices are high for dinner. Went there for a double date; we are young professionals. Ambiance was nice: low candlelight and soft music. Nothing too loud or too quiet. Service was fine. We ordered ahi tuna tacos, which were super delicious. We split the scallops and risotto. Pricing for entrees (as I remember) ranged from $20-40. Our scallops were in the mid-$20 range, and the serving size was no more than a cup size of food. All the was delicious, but still more than I prefer to pay for small portions.

What a great little place this turned out to be. We stopped in for Sunday breakfast. I was immediately impressed with the selection of coffee's. I love choices when it comes to my morning joe. They had a bold coffee that hit the spot for me and something lighter that my wife enjoyed. The coffee is as good or better than anything at Starbucks or Barnie's. Sunday morning is counter order and waitress serve. Ordering at the counter is the worst kind of good, your faced with an array of great looking pastries and muffins. I caved and took a blueberry muffin to go. Several hours later the blueberry muffin did it's job and provided a great pre-lunch snack. Our server (meighan) was very nice, and didn't let our food sit in the window. I had sweet potato pancakes(the daily special) and a slice of quiche, both were excellent. My wife had the eggs Benedict, that too was very good. I don't live in the treasure coast area anymore but when i visit i have a new favorite

"A-OK"...that about sums it up! Now, this review is solely based on our lunch visit, so I can't comment on their more creative/upscale dinner menu. Cute place- typical sandwich cafe kind of vibe with a decent sized bar. For some reason, anything located in downtown Stuart is automatically that much more charming. I ordered the Veggie Melt on this visit, and my fiancee ordered the J.D. Grilled Chicken Panini. My veggie melt was fine- nothing more, nothing less. It definitely tasted like something I could easily make at home. I ordered it on sourdough, and the sourdough wasn't great. Veggies were reasonably fresh, if greasy. The Chicken panini is really not a panini at all; It's a wrap. The only thing panini-like about it is that they grill the wrap a bit. Despite the misnomer, it was pretty good. The chicken was tasty, and the other ingredients in the wrap tasted fresh. We were each given the choice of fruit, chips, or cole slaw with our meal. I asked our server what kind of chips they have, and he responded, "They are kettle cooked". Sweet, I thought. We both opted for the chips...and we were each served a bag of "Miss Vickie's" potato chips. Lame! I would have opted for the fruit, as I was expecting house cooked chips. In conclusion, I wasn't overly impressed with my lunch here- it wasn't BAD, but nothing memorable about it. I known breakfast and/or dinner might be a completely different story, but I wouldn't get too excited about a return visit for lunch.

Had a very good experience at Osceola Cafe lastnight. Service was great. The salmon was thick and grilled perfectly. My wife had the ahi tuna, equally delicious. I am really hoping we hit an off night, but we had a really disappointing meal. Really disappointing. We have eaten here before, and it was good, so we met friends here, coming from Vero Beach. We drove up from Palm Beach. We love Stuart. Charming place. My husband and I each had the shrimp scampi with crabmeat, and the shrimp was waterlogged. Embarrassingly so. My husband's linguine which came with it was overcooked. He also tried the shrimp appetizer with a firey asian type sauce, and he said those were pathetic. Overcooked, not crispy; a disaster. Our friends said nothing about their meals, and no one ordered dessert. Maybe this place is best served as a breakfast and lunch place. Reviews for both seem to be stellar. Sorry. Really bad night.

This is a cute little place that can get a bit noisy when busy. Coffee is quite good but breakfast offerings just don't come up to standards. Breakfast is self service so you wait on yourself after paying at the counter. Just a small inconvenience but something that we didn't need to endure at those prices! Dinner is much better with tasty appetizers and entrees. Portions are small so be warned.

For Stuart (and most of Florida food I've had so far) this is about as good as it gets if you are Vegetarian. They actually know how to season the vegetarian options! I usually get the Veggie "Melt" but you can choose your bread, your cheese (when I was eating cheese I would get the fresh mozz.), and whatever "extras" you would like. Sometimes I would even get it cold instead of "melted" so the options are endless with this. They usually have a vegetarian soup. Even their "specials" can sometimes be tweaked without the meat. The portions are very generous and you can choose fresh fruit as a side. I've only tried their cookies and they were pretty decent. Took a few to the beach as a snack. The only thing I will say (it was annoying) is that I had never been here for breakfast and did not know that you ordered at the counter and then sat down and they brought your food to you...we sat and waited for a good twenty minutes before someone told us. Amazing coffee (with a soymilk option) and I will support them because it's not a chain. *If they read this I would love to see them get a veggie sausage or veggie bacon option on the menu to go with the breakfast!

Had dinner on Mothers Day evening for the first time here. I had the chilean sea bass and it was awesome. Perfectly cooked. The dish came with green beans and I asked could it be changed for the spinach and it was not a problem. The fish was over the spinach and also had a side of cous cous. It had a very good, tangy tasting sauce over it. My husband had the ribeye with a side of spinach and the potato gratin. We both opted for the side 1/2 salads. I had the pear walnut salad and he has the caesar salad. Both were really delicious. After dinner the hub had a cappuccino which I tasted and I have to say it was not the best I have ever had. It was very weak, almost watery. My one and only real complaint about this place are the chairs. They are the hardest, worst sitting chairs I have ever sat in at a restaurant. When I stood up, my lower back ached. I knew halfway through the meal that they would be a problem. We will be back for dinner and will very likely give Osceola a try for breakfast or lunch next time we are downtown on the weekend. Excellent service.

I was really excited to try the pistachio muffin when I walked in, that was about the best thing from this place. It is very pretentious, and there wasn't very many food options. They only serve breakfast until 11. Our server really never checked in on us and we waited an hour for our food, because somehow the order got misplaced....no one even checked on us that whole time. After they messed up they finally were coming around to refill my coffee. The food wasn't that great, and the prices were high for what you were getting. My suggestion would be to get a pastry and go, don't actually sit down!

Great Lunch Spot. My Favorite Lunch in Martin County. Get ready for a wait, or grab a leftover newspaper and belly up to the bar. Good pastries and good coffee often don't mix with healthy choices, but they pull the combo off with ease. Also try the Monday Night Open Mic Night. Wine and Beer only though :(

I had lunch here and was very disappointed. I had a roastbeef sandwich which contained very little meat and way too much sauce, as if it was a horseradish sauce sandwich with roastbeef as a condiment. Worse than that was the service. Our server was clearly not enthusiastic about being there. It took a very long time for her to even greet us. We gave her our drink and food order, which we clearly had plenty of time to have already decided upon. She dropped our drinks, someone else delivered our food and we didn't see her again until we had been finished eating for over 10 minutes. Our check then took her another 10 minutes to process. And the restaurant wasn't even busy. Not a great experience. Luckily I had good company!

I've always liked Osceola. For breakfast I go for the egg sandwich. You can order at the bar if you're in a rush. I think its a cute place for a date in the evening. Their open mic night is fun too. It seems to come and go although, never sure when it's on.

Very nice place for lunch! Pleasant server. Enjoyed walking around downtown Stuart afterwards.

This is my absolute favorite lunch spot. Everything is so fresh, and the daily specials are always a good bet. Their dill egg salad is delish and so is the pear and bleu cheese salad. For breakfast, the huge egg and cheese croissant is big enough to share and tbe coffee rivals Starbucks.

Surprisingly delicious considering that this part of Florida is packed with with lackluster chain restaurants that are better known for saturated fat than saturated taste buds. The carpaccio, blue cheese and pear salad, shrimp scampi with mozzarella risotto cake and wasabi crusted swordfish were outstanding. We also enjoyed a delicious ice-cold key lime pie. All this plus a great bottle of sauvignon blanc came to less than $100. Great service and outdoor dining, too. I highly recommend this for a night out in Stuart.

Osceola Street Cafe in downtown Stuart is a great place for Breakfast and Brunch. There's always a special menu each day. Beth and Marlene know how to pay special attention to service and quality!

This place was really great. Firstly, we came in without a reservation on a Saturday evening. They were busy, but they were very welcoming and found us a table. The music from the band was very nice, but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't conduct a normal conversation. My wife and I each started with the green salad with the vinaigrette dressing, which was very good. I had the Ahi tuna lo mein, which was wonderful. The waitress, who was very nice, warned me in advance that it was really not a hot dish because the tuna was just slightly seared; it was, in my opinion, perfect. My wife ordered one of the specials, haddock wrapped in prosciutto and served in lobster sauce, which I would like to order if they have it on the menu the next time we go there (unless they tempt me with something else). I had a very nice glass of pinot noir with the meal. For dessert, my wife had creme brulee, which she said was very tasty, but could have been a little lighter. I just had a cup of cappuccino, which was made the way it is supposed to be made, with fat free milk so that the steamed milk is light and fluffy in the cup. The total bill, including tip came to about $90..00, which I rate a very good buy.

Fido (my dog a chinese crested powder puff, Rachel G. (privately known as Ms. Money bags, oh I mean Big Bags)), and I have been having breakfast at Osceola Street Cafe for years and we love it. We have lunch there every chance we get as well. Dinner there is superb, and the art presently gracing the walls makes for the greatest view. We eat, watch people, and chat to our hearts content.

This is my favorite restaurant in Downtown Stuart. Great menu, excellent fresh food, and awesome service. I generally head to Osceola for lunch with friends, although dinner is also a good time. Get there at least a few before noon if you don't want to wait, 'cause any day you're going to find at least a small line for lunch.

For this part of FL, this is as good as it gets. Food: very good in both quality and selection Service: very nice and accomodating Atmosphere: very nice. This is in the cute town of Stuart and most things around the treasure coast are in malls. This cafe has a nice feeling and I have always had really decent lunches here. The dinner menu also looks good.

A great local restaurant that offers food for all tastes. I'm a vegetarian and not all places offer soy milk, herbal tea, great fruit bowls and menu choices to die for. Definitely a great place to bring visitors to when in old downtown Stuart. I also love the local art displayed and live music nights. That's how we discovered Wolff a few years ago from their first shop downtown - he does such interesting paintings and is such a nice guy! This place definitely has a unique local flavor and well worth the visit.

yippee skippy this place is great! rolled in super early before sunrise and ordered coffee and a bag o pastries to go. pastries weren't mind blowing but they were pretty good. the key lime cookie was probably the winner of the bunch. think toll house cookies with a ton of lime flavor instead of the chips. ate it while driving and could not figure out if the chewy things were lime zest or shredded coconut. i think this place gets my vote for the best coffee in jensen/stuart. they had a ton of different airpots that you help yourself to. i tried the kona and it was pretty tasty. the woman working the counter was super nice in a way that's not over bearing. i just really liked this place.

I usually go here for a power lunch or to grab a coffee in the a.m., but it's good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Delicious salads. The JD Wrap is so good, too (thanks, JD for creating that one). Family/locally owned. It's a classic.

Osceola Cafe is a hidden gem-- placed in a prime location, it makes it easy for the shopper in you to walk around, shop, and dine. It is a beautiful quaint place where local artwork is posted on the walls (which you can purchase) and tables and spread throughout the inside and the out. There is one small room towards the back if you do have a party (seats about as much as your average dining room table). Along with the pleasant atmosphere, the servers have a very down to earth "family-like" vibe to them. Soda is a a great price (as it is from a can). The food is presented in a pleasant manner with good sized portions. It's a very down to earth place and I truly enjoy going there. The only thing that prevents me from giving this a 5 star rating is the wait time. As it is such a lovely place, it does most usually take a while to be seated but it is well worth the wait--once you go enough times you will realize when their peak hours are. At night, the place practically transforms into an elegant atmosphere and the menu does change. I have only been there once at night so I can't speak much for it but the daytime meals are splendid.

I wanted a place that was low-key and relaxed for birthday dinner party and we ended up going to Osceola which turned out to be a fantastic choice. One of the things that backed up my choice to choose Osceola was reading William R.'s review in 2012 (thank you). Including me, it was a party of four and by closing time, it felt as if we had the restaurant all to ourselves and I love that kind of privacy and setting. When I thought sleepy town Stuart didn't have any kindness left, there were these two beautiful ladies who worked at this restaurant that evening and they were extremely accommodating to my guests and me, great personalities AND HUMOR (many servers lack this but not here), knew the menu very well and even shared their opinions about which dish/drink were their favorites and recommendations. A server who has tried food on the menu and is willing to be honest telling us about it is a plus in my books. For a few of us, it was our first time dining at this casual cafe. Their menu is one page and you don't feel the sense that you're overwhelmed. It is simple and easy to read. One of my flaws that I do when looking at a food menu is always looking at foods that I cannot eat (self-torture? yes lol). This place gets much better. Their food was hands down phenomenal ad memorable. We started out with 3-4 appetizers, mostly seafood but also land food. Performance blew me away. The fish were fresh and perfectly seasoned, not too much and not too little. You could tell when biting into the foods that they had plenty of time being soaked into the seasoning and sauces, and the choice of the seasonings were a savory combination. We had the Ahi tuna roll, eggplant, shrimp scampi, and chicken flat bread. Everything was good. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about any of them. There wasn't a sauce or seasoning that was overwhelming to my senses. Everything was well balanced and left a smile on my guests and my faces. We were very happy to be in a happy restaurant with happy servers and amazing tasting food. The way your servers dress and their attitude should be able to tell you if the food is worth it and with Osceola, it sure was. For my entree, I had the winter salad and it was interesting. I had never tasted the dressing before and it really caught me off guard, in a good way. The flavor was not too thick or overpowering in your mouth like those generic salad dressings you get from franchise and chain restaurants. The salad portion seemed small but I think it's because of portion control, since when has someone ever said they feel full after eating a salad? No one, and you shouldn't overeat either. For my supper, I had the soy flank steak with siracha mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Heavenly! Oh wait, no, that was my wine concoction. The meal was just as heavenly though, every bite, every taste. I was half drooling in my mouth and half trying to keep the food to stay in my mouth. The steak was cooked rare and with the sauce marinated in the meat, it reminded me of almost a chewy beef jerky only it was softer, fresh, and not pre-packaged wrapped and terribly salty. I am Asian and I had never thought of putting Siracha sauce and mashed potatoes together. I did but I reluctantly shared this piece of awesome information that I discovered with my table of guests. They, too, were fascinated by this side dish. After our meals, our sweet server brought out a sample of 3 desserts and it was to make up for my birthday cake because when she had asked me if I wanted desserts, I had politely declined. Not a fan of Key Lime pie and chocolate on top of chocolate but my guests loved it and they made sure not to leave any crumbs behind. I was pretty content with the creme brulee which had my birthday candle in it. These desserts are supposed to be super sweet and sugar, and evil (and they are) but like our appetizers and meals, they consistency were very well balanced and they tasted like what they were supposed to be. After eating all of these foods, I didn't feel bloated or sick. I mean, they don't carry organic foods or gluten free but their chef here knows how to balance just the right amount of seasoning and oil with the foods here and that is a skill to master. I didn't get the chance to meet the chef but I want him/her to know that I am a fan of their food. As I mentioned earlier about having the restaurant all to myself and my guests, we lost track of time and didn't realize that the restaurant had already closed but the ladies were very sweet and didn't bother telling us or kicking us out. They let us take our time and enjoy finishing our meals. They also offered to change the music playlist to what we preferred, and guess what we chose: Metallica, lol. After a wonderful dinner experience, I am very tempted to try their breakfast/brunch menu now.

Cute little Cafe is Stuart. Came here while passing through. No table service. You goto the counter and order your food and they'll bring it to you. They had a nice selection of health foods which made me happy enough to stop in. I enjoyed the spinach egg white omelette

A great spot for dinner! In town visiting family and love to go to downtown Stuart for the shops, being near the water and just overall atmosphere. We called to make a reservation and were welcomed as if we were regulars (I was visiting and counterpart hadn't been in a while) We tried the strawberry salad, the chicken and the salmon. ALL were fantastic. Beyond average and quite unique without being pretentious or over the top. Comfort food elevated. Atmosphere was also quite comfortable (live music was good) and nice. Definitely will be back!

This place is really adorable, with insanely friendly staff and very good food. Be prepared to wait a bit for a seat on a Sunday for breakfast or brunch, but it's worth a wait. Free coffee while you wait - you heard me right! And brewed special from beans ground on premises. Very good - I actually don't usually drink coffee anymore but I did love the coconut blend. My husband had the egg white omelette with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes and loved it. I had pancakes with fruit (wish the fruit was more pancake friendly - I paid an extra $2 for a few grapes and 3 pieces of honeydew). I also got a cafe au lait which was very good but was heavy on the frothed milk without a real taste of steamed milk (like a true cafe au lait). I also had the grits with cheddar and scallions - highlight of the meal, amazingly made. I really enjoyed this place and would like to come back here next time I'm in town.

After a few friends recommended this place to me, I decided to try it for brunch today. The food looked delicious, but unfortunately I'll never know. The customer service is atrocious and unapologetic, which is extremely disappointing to a local who Would have provided future business. Despite waiting for an hour (and calling 2 hours ahead), the cafe was unable to accommodate a "large" party (...of 9...). While the wait is understandable, they continued to seat small parties instead of pushing 2 tables together for us. When asked why, they said those people had reservations... Which is interesting because when we called at 9am they were "unable to make reservations." Finally, after much questioning as to why we were still waiting 1 hour after our party had arrived, they were ready to seat us. At two different tables!! Like, what? Every time we asked about our table, the staff pointed fingers. The lack of planning and accountability by the staff and management is appalling. As a customer service rep I do not understand the business sense in their strategy. Apparently they don't like to create new business- fine by me!!! We'll go to Maria's down the street for hassle free dining and smiling faces. I recommend you do the same.
