Went for the first time this morning for a to go order. Service sucked they seated three couples that came in after me. Hash browns where nasty and they forgot part of me food. Call back to complain and the lady comment was what do you want me to do about it. Will never go back. The rye toast was good.

Felt like some biscuits and gravy so I when here, 3 biscuits split and potatoes $8.95 Side of sausage, 2 links fat ones, good $3.50 and a soda $2. Total with tax was $14.+ It was good, not the best I have had but IMO way over priced, I just had a much better breakfast out of town for $7.95 that included the sausage and 2 eggs without the potatoes and $1.50 for drink. Out the door for $10ish. So food is good prices are high,

Key West is one of the most underrated restaurants of Stuart. As you walk in it feels like a retiree enclave; hard to see anyone below 60 years (I bear no prejudice) barring the staff. But once the menu and specials come in front, it's tough to make a pick with the variety. The food is tasty, good prices, perfect portions and best of all actually make most of their food. And if you have Bill as server then he's one of the best I've seen; gives great recommendations according to your taste or mood as he knows his menu well apart from being prompt in his service. My favorites are many but the Basa Francais with Rice is my #1 and the Sausage Pepper Pasta would be my # 2 out here!

I'm bummed with this review but was once a regular stop for me has gone bad. Gave them 2 stars for previous experience but when I sit at the counter near the owner and get no service, 2 is generous. Waitresses won't help each other out, so even though they knew I was there they ignored me. Followed up with bad, I mean stale/rotten, turkey. Like I said I'm bummed I used to love this place but they won't get another penny of mine.

Well here I am again for my last time writing a review of this diner. I must say the food was always good when we ate there. Unfortunately the incident with my Service Dog went too far. In my last review I wrote about how the owner/manager was very rude to me and questioned me about my Service Dog which is against the law to ask for certification. I made copies of the laws according to the ADA which I brought with me when I wanted to speak with the owner after this incident. I was not out to cause trouble but to inform him of why he was in the wrong so hopefully another patron will not be humiliated. I stopped by 5 different times, today being the last, and was told each time he was out or busy. Today I was told he had nothing to say to me. I find his attitude not only rude but condescending. He told the waitress it was his place, he could make the rules for it and I could now do whatever I want to do. It is difficult enough being disabled and this man has no compassion or let alone the intelligence to understand the laws. People eating here be forewarned. I hope nothing ever goes wrong with your meal and you need to speak with this man because he is very one sided and single minded. How he keeps his customers let alone his staff with this attitude is a mystery to me.

Every Saturday and sometimes Sunday we would come here for breakfast. It's simple, delicious and the staff is always nice. Love the bright colors!

I have been to this establishment multiple times since it opened years ago. Not once have I had a bad experience, and the service is always great. The food is just normal diner food, but also delicious at the same time. They also have large portion sizes, but not too large to make you feel like you're being overfed. The owner of Key West Diner also has another location in South Stuart off of Salerno Road, which I have yet to dine at. I love this diner and I highly recommend it to anyone of all age groups!

Came here on a Sunday. Very crowded when church gets out. One main point.....food is consistently good. The servers are very friendly and service is usually fast. Chicken salad is yummy. I usually order the veggie egg white omelette. Very good. Owner is usually around but I have never seen the man smile. This is my go to place for breakfast on a Sunday. Will definitely be back.

Made a quick 6am breakfast stop, clean colorful Key West decor, friendly & prompt server, offered sliced tomatoes instead of home fries, darker wheat toast was great, clean restrooms, overall great spot & will return when passing through Stuart on US-1.

We were looking for a local place for lunch, not a chain, and found that this place had quite a few cars in the parking lot. Always a good sign. We pulled in and were seated immediately. We noticed that it was really clean in the dining area. The menu was really big, which you could think would present average food. I was surprised and greeted with great flavor and quality! I had the Philly Cheesesteak and my husband had the Gyro. We both had sweet potato fries. Everything was excellent!

We stopped today, after furniture shopping, on another chance. We do this when we get tired of all of our standard eateries. The place is colorful.....like a box of crayons. It is clean and spacious. We ate a Grouper Reuben and a Patty Melt both with, made to order, crispy fries. Delicious! I have to give them credit, they did well. We decided to eat dessert. The waitress convinced me to try their, made on the premises, Cheese Cake. Oh My GOD! She was without a doubt correct it was some of THE best Cheese Cake I have ever eaten. The only other Cheese Cake that equals this was from Peterson's Sunset Cabin in Lakewood, N. J. when it was open many years ago. This place is a must try in my book.

We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Key West diner dozens of times. It is always perfect. When I say perfect I mean, when u order corned beef hash and eggs, you receive perfectly cooked and tasting corned beef hash and eggs. Everything tastes exactly how it is supposed to taste, perfectly. Perfect, 5 stars is not enough.

Friendly staff, nice home feel, and cute decor. I ordered the Sausage Gravy and my friend ordered the Corned Beef Hash. Rib Sticking and Delicious... I'm a Sausage Gravy Freak and this satisfied! Chef approved and recommended...

Went for a Sunday morning breakfast and ordered tea. Waitress brought a decaff tea bag and when I noticed it she that was all they had, I told her I didn't want it and she said it tastes the same as regular tea. I said that she must not be a tea drinker to say that. She said she was and that the decaff was delicious. How does a diner run out of tea bags at 9:30 am? For me its like not having coffee. Ruined my breakfast which was only average anyway. Eggs over easy, home fries and bacon. I had a better breakfast at Perkins and they give you two tea bags with a pitcher of hot water. We won't be back for breakfast.

This place is definitely somewhere I would come back to. They had a HUGE menu. I dont quite understand why it was so big because it really made it hard to order. I was so split between sever items that I asked the server what his favorite was. He said the grouper sandwhich. I was very impressed. The grouper was very fresh and it was accompanied by some nice crspy fries. My server was very attentive and wouldnt let my glass go below half empty. This was quite a feat because he was serving 9 tables at the same time! The decor was very tacky, but I guess thats what I should expect out of a key west themed diner.

What a find! We were staying at a resort nearby, and this place was outstanding. Our waitress Joan was very, very accomodating, checked on us often, and even reccomended some beaches to visit. And the food was fresh and clean, which you don't always get at a diner. For example, I had one of the best Greek salads of my life, and a nice light homemade chicken orzo soup. We will probably go again in the next couple of days!

Restaurant is very clean. Staff is friendly, I was greeted right away by a smiling host and promptly seated. Waiter was friendly and quick but food was eh. I'll give the plan another shot. Maybe I just had an off "special," which is kinda surprising considering I got an Italian sausage sub.... Fries were great though.

Nice comfortable little diner. Good sized menu with a page full of specials, including some Greek options. Beef stew was tasty, moussaka was good and the side salads fresh. Fairly priced, clean and attentive service. Will go back to try breakfast. Beer and wine only. Nice experience for a relatively late dinner.

We have been going to the Key West Diner since it opened. The past 4 times we have been there we have gotten undercooked food and had to send it back. Our latest encounter was just yesterday for breakfast and yes...it was undercooke...raw pancakes!! We asked to speak to the manager/owner (George) twice....and he never came out from the kitchen!! Our waitress was VERY embarrased! We will NEVER go back after this insult!!

We had breakfast here and it was good. We all left happy. Good diner style breakfast food. Corned beef hash was good and the family enjoyed the pancakes. They also serve breakfast all day. Waitress and staff were nice. Beer, wine and mimosas available. Will be back.

Good Filling Breakfast. Recommended by this Polish dude named Tommy, I just met, so we decided to try this diner. I ordered some coffee, a side of bacon, corn-beef and hash, plain bagel, and a cup of grits. Everything was good. The order of bacon was a good portion and I made a bagel bacon creamed cheese sandwich with it. The corn beef and hash was tasty and the coffee was spot on. The service was excellent. The decor was a little kitschy with all its splashes of color and the mix mash of items hanging on the walls. I definitely like the place and I recommend that you stop by. Remember to tell them that Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!
