A+++ My parents turned me onto this place after they moved to Rocky Pt. While Kaishin & Kazu will always be my favs in-town, FujiYama is simply closer, thus more convenient. It's a busy place w/ the hibachi side of the house, and the sushi bar is open with plenty of seating. They treat us like royalty, and the sushi/sashimi is always delish. They have the biggest & most creative rolls around...and the grilled 'Hamachi rib cage' is a must. Their Sake prices are higher than others but the Sushi/Sashimi is less, so price-wise its a wash. Cant wait to do the Habachi Grill soon :))

After having food dumped on me (which ended up staining my blouse), the manager/owner never came to apologize. The server never asked anyone if they would care for dessert even though they KNEW a birthday was being celebrated. We asked for 2 more beverages after we finished eating and the server was obviously annoyed by this. After all of this, nothing was done to rectify the poor service. Food was good quality but the service was absolutely horrible.

If you enjoy the Vero location - sorry, you aren't going to like this one. Firstly - they are understaffed - one poor guy making drinks. When we got there earlier than our reservation we understood we would wait for our time. Five minutes after our reserved time, the hostess told us she didn't know how much longer we would have to wait because people weren't leaving. Well, if your chefs keep squirting sake in everyone's mouthes, why would they leave? Rice was al dente - I mean hard. They have back to back grills always burning with little ventilation. I lost more weight from sweating than I did from eating. They have taken in a bit of the Benihana commercialization. Portions were ok, prices were avg of what most Hibachi grills are - food is drenched in soy sauce. The fried rice was very bland. I believe if there were less grills and better ventilation, the food may taste better because there is a comfort level that is missing. It was like eating Japanese on a crowded "L" Train local. Until there are changes made - we will go elsewhere local or to there location in Vero.

We went there for my 30th birthday and had a great time! The place is gorgeous! Staff was very friendly and food was great! We got seated right away but it took a while for any food to come out which is the reason why I didn't give them 5 stars.

There soup, salad, chicken, and NY strip were really good. The rice was a little over cooked but still good. The place is absolutely beautiful and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The waitress wasn't friendly and when she gave me a soda it didn't taste right and she got a little annoyed when I asked her for a new one. There were some employees that were interrupting and talking over some customers which I don't think is professional.

Last night was my friend and my first experience at Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse. I had a very bad experience there and will never return. First of all, it is not a place to go if you want to have a quiet conversation. There was a lot of noise from loud Happy Birthday singing (at least 3 times in the span of an hour) plus the usual squeals of laughter when the chefs did their tricks at the hibachi tables. However we were seated in a booth and expected to have a pleasant meal. Our waiter was extremely hyper and exuberant and very good about explaining how the "happy hour" menu for both food and drink work. My problem was my main meal. My California roll was fine, the drinks were fine. But my Teriyaki Steak dinner was unacceptable. The meat was so tough I could barely chew it. I even had my friend try it to see if it was just me but they agreed the meat was very tough and chewy. Their own meal was filet mignon and was melt in your mouth tender but mine was I think he said a strip steak. Regardless of what it was I certainly would not have ordered it if I thought it was going to be tough. I complained to the waiter and he said he would take $10 off my bill but when it came time to pay my bill he said that he said 10% off, not $10 off. I asked to speak to the manager who pretty much accused me of eating too much of my meal before complaining which is ridiculous as my plate was covered with food, mostly unedible steak and cucumber slices as opposed to other vegetables I would have preferred. They simply were not interested in making me happy. I left there with a $28 bill and left behind a plateful of food. I even told them I was planning on leaving a review but they did not seem to be concerned one bit. It was business as usual. I will never ever return there again. It was a huge disappointment. Bad business all the way around. I work hard for my money and to waste it in a restaurant is just plain ridiculous.

Sushi was really fresh and decently priced. Service was quick and drinks were good. Like the ambiance, dark and romantic feeling.

I went last night for my birthday (apparently everyone else in town had a birthday too) and we got hibachi. The chefs were awesome! We all had a great time. They put on a good show and the food was impressive. My parents ordered sushi and they seemed to enjoy it, the presentation was very nice. They had a lot of staff come sing happy birthday to me, they even brought out percussion and seemed very enthusiastic. Overall it was a nice night, I am excited to go back and get their sushi.

Looking for something different on a Sunday night, we found it. Decor, service & food was amazing. Sushi was excellent & very fresh, steak & veggy hibachi extremely fresh and perfectly prepared. Hibachi tables are traditionally loud with entertainment so my husband & I chose a quiet booth. We will definetly come back 5 stars (Benihana Sewell Pt - 2 stars (food typical, hibachi chef boring)

I'm very impressed. I wasn't expecting much, and was quickly hit with the nice decor, hibachi grills, booths and sushi bar. The food, most importantly, was also impressive. I had the Angel roll which had nice cuts of tuna on top, finished with a sweet spicy mayo. Looks like it would be a really fun place with friends on the weekend. I'm in!

Very disappointing. Noise level terrible. Cannot carry on a conversation. Chairs at hibachi table packed together. Service poor. Asked waiter 3 times for water. He brought soup, then salad, finally water. Waiter brought wrong wine. Food very mediocre. Overcooked tuna, tough shrimp. You are much better off going to Benihana on East Ocean Blvd. in Sewalls Point.

Alert Alert!! all you foodies out there that are always looking for a new place to experience something new in the dining world WOW!! If you're ever in the Stuart area you need to stop by! Especially if you love Sushi HotSake & Hibachi. They truly put on a show for you. We had the premier chef Martin cook our food right in front of us with a spectacle of fire and tricks that you won't believe. You have to experience it to believe it. All I have to say. Now GO!

Everything was great. Entering the establishment I immediately noticed how clean and nice this restaurant is. The waitress was very friendly. She kept refilling our drinks without making us wait. The chef that came over to the habachi was amusing. He engaged with us and put on a great performance. The food was excellent! We had the chicken and shrimp habachi dinners and we will be back again! 11am-3pm they have great lunch specials. Their happy hour starts at 5-7 and sounds pretty good. If your into the habachi experience I would highly recommend coming here!

This was our first time at Fujiyama. We went because of the reviews. We were not impressed. We ordered an appetizer of crunchy tuna we got spicy tuna Our cook left off half of the presentation(show). After we got done eating we were rushed to pay and leave so they could sit a new party Needless to say we would have liked to have stayed and ordered another drink but no We won't be back
