Excellent meal last night. I had a house salad, and breaded shrimp dish with sides of Spinach and Broccoli Rob. My wife had a salad with sautéed chicken. First, the bread that they brought was warm and delicious. Crust was crunchy and inside Fresh. Olive Oil dipping was full of pleasant spices. Salad was fresh and crisp. Dressing is homemade and was light and tasty. My wife's salad with chicken was perfectly arranged and cooked. My shrimp dish was served in a light broth with mushrooms. Unusual, but the combo worked. Wait staff was attentive and well informed. Meal arrived hot, perfectly timed. We will be going back soon!

Fantastic find in downtown Stuart. Food was top notch and service was great as well. Our entrees were fantastic. We have been back twice, and each time the food is superb. My husband loves the fruita de mar. Will definitely go back for truly delicious food... My compliments to the Chef!!

Awesome place to eat! Great service and great atmosphere. Our waiter suggested the alfredo which was not on the regular menu. It was out of this world. Great place to eat in downtown Stuart.

Nice, intimate setting, but way over-priced. Just average food. Definitely nothing special. And someone in our party got food poisoning after eating a seafood dish. So that didn't help.

Great little place.Service very attentive. We were seated in what is called the wine room.Suppose to be just 4 tables.Well this being Valentine Day/Night we thought this would be a great place for a quiet dinner for just the two of us. Surprise, three tables put together for a rowdy party of 8.Luckily they were just finishing up.We could not have been given enough apologies from our server.Onto the food.My wife had the veal, and had the chef ad 3 jumbo shrimp.Alittle to salty, but very fresh. I had the stuffed eggplant. Awesome. Portions were good. Prices very reasonable. Will return to try other items off their limited menu.

Ok the food on my first visits was ok. But they have it down now. The seafood pasta is my go to dish. So fresh and flavorful. But to big. I enjoyed it for lunch the next day Love the intimate setting and great service The only issue is the wine, I've become a little demanding on my wine but they have a reasonable corkage fee so I brought my own

One of my true favorites! I always order the 18 Seminole salad. It's not always on the menu but it's excellent and interesting with a spring mix, chopped mint, cranberries, Mandarin oranges, walnuts and more. I usually have their fish selection (hog snapper or sea bass) on top. I can't choose between their house dressing or Wasabi cucumber dressing so I get both! Absolutely mouth watering!

Charming place with very attentive staff. Good food with very fresh ingredients. The warm bread and butter could be meal in itself when paired with the wine. Seafood Di Mare was delicious with plenty of calamari and shrimp. The special of the evening was their Seminole pasta and had a delicious array of fresh veggies in a wonderful light garlic sauce. One of the best parts of the meal was the chefs special Limoncello. It really was fantastic! A great treat was chatting with the chef at the end of the meal. He, like his restaurant is charming and inviting and down to earth.

Wonderful setting - love the old FL house charm. I was impressed with the fish special - very fresh. My husband was not as impressed with the red sauce in his italian selection. Overall - nice. Give it a try.

This place is too easy to miss! I'm so glad my sister-in-law found it. First of all, it's quaint little appearance is irresistible. Then the quiet hospitality from greeter to hostess to server was excellent. Now to the food. I had the eggplant tower. In a word - wonderful. The tomatoes were home grown delicious and this appetizer was loaded with basil. These guys got it right. Can't wait to experience this lovely gem of a place again.

Friendly, charming setting. We ate in a quite room that only had 3 tables, which made it intimate and very comfortable. The food was very good to excellent. Excellent blends of flavors and textures. Homemade soups and desserts. We were all very pleased with our meal and the entire experience. We will DEFINITELY go back.

I spoke with the chef in December 2013-he had explained that he uses all organic, fresh ingredients and that he prep his food every three days. Absolutely terrible from start to finish!!!!! Service and food was not good at all. We sat down with our 18 month old daughter and started with Pellegrino (smallest bottle I've seen for $4.95!) We then decided to have the eggplant trio entrée as an appetizer to share with our daughter. A bottle of Pinot Grigio, I ordered the veal marsala and my husband ordered the shrimp scampi- we ordered based on the employee recommendations. The server came back and poured the wine and didn't show me the bottle (I didn't think anything of it, because I was busy entertaining our daughter) It tasted fine- and the after he poured the wine into our glasses- we saw the label and it was Chardonnay-we ordered Pinot Grigio! Sometime later we get our appetizer and it was a tomato mozzarella tower. Say what we ordered the eggplant?! we sent it back however that was a bad idea!!!- we receive the eggplant trio- it was not warm! it was salty! and it tasted like it was microwaved because the cheese was rubber! it looked liked something from Stouffer's frozen food! our daughter spit it out- we then knew why! the server came back and checked on us, but never cleared our salad plates. Then my husband was served one of the veal dishes along with the side of pasta and tomato sauce-we ordered shrimp scampi and veal marsala. turns out it was supposed to go to another table- and that's exactly what occurred, they took the food they served my husband and gave it to another table!!! It was like something from Gordan Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. my husband had his glass of Pellegrino half full, one of the servers came along and filled with ice water?! there were only 2 to 3 tables seated in the restaurant. we finally get our food-it looked like slop on a plate for $23 each. my husband's shrimp scampi looked like soup thickened with tons of cornstarch. the side of pasta and tomato sauce was garnished with the crappy grated Kraft Parm cheese- it looked like it should've been on a buffet at Piccadilly or Sizzler! The veal marsala tasted like thick beef bouillon cube water with sugar syrup. It was absolutely terrible!!! the veal was overcooked and garnished with steamed spinach with no seasoning!!! the mushrooms had no salt or flavor. I ate 1/2 piece of veal- the server never offered to help to make it better. my husband ate his shrimp but no pasta soup. the server came to offer dessert- We said no. she offered complimentary lemoncello to us- we said no. and she said "what no vodka for the adults to wake you up?!" We said no again. We will never go back!! How dare a chef tells customers that he uses fresh, local, organic produce and food and then makes a meal that was an embarrassment to the culinary/hospitality industry!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
