Nothing fancy. Good food. Good service & really friendly people. They remember your order if you eat there at least once per month...amazing! One issue...there is a channel blown on their stereo so the music sounds like garbage. I really wish they would fix it. Drives me nuts!

I couldn't stop eating the food. I was super full but it taste so good. I ordered online and it got here in 30 minutes. I had chicken fried rice (qt) enough to feed 2 grown men. QT of sweet and sour chicken which came with rice and honey seared chicken (pt) with lo mein. It was delicious. I am a satisfied customer. It fed 4 people and could feed 5 more with all these leftovers.

I recommend you order to go for two reasons: 1. The Food is actually very Good 3. The restaurant smells like a Wet Fart I'm not sure why, and was thinking the food would be mediocre at best, but it was good.

Absolutely awful service awful food and awful presentation I will never recommend this place to anyone looking for great Chinese food I was disappointed with my food and a refund was refused this place is no where as good as it was years ago. If there was a zero stars option I would be all over it.

Best chinese food I've had in a long time. Every time I order for delivery my food is so hot and cooked to perfection. The delivery wait time is kinda long which sucks, but honestly I would wait hours just so I could have China Star's food.

My wife and I had lunch today at the China Star. We have lived in Stuart for over 10 years and decided to check it out. Overall it was one of the worst Chinese meals I have had. I ordered hot and sour soup and crispy duck. The soup was boring but passable. The duck was uneatable. When I told the waiter the duck was overcooked she said yes they overcooked it. No inquiry if they could correct the problem and provide a substitute or take it off the bill. My wife ordered wonton soup and shrimp, pork and chicken with wood ear mushrooms. (she loves wild mushrooms) Her meal came with no mushrooms. Our inquiry was met with "we don't put mushrooms in the dish anymore". Even the fried rice was mediocre. I found one pea and no green onion or other vegetable. Once is enough. Will not return. PS skip the bathroom.

Good solid local Chinese joint. Food was fresh, tasty and hot. Soups were good. Appetizers as well. Entries were solid. Attentive service. We will return to explore more of their menu. Moderately priced.

Americanized Chinese food sucks. It is not for Chinese. Don't like it. Nearly eat nothing there. Just back hotel and feel hungry again.

China Star is a hidden gem in Stuart, and I'm really surprised there aren't many reviews, especially since this place has been around for a long time. This place serves some of the best Americanized Chinese food I've ever had, which is saying something since I live in NYC. Another great aspect to China Star is the value... Their prices are so low, it's almost like you're stealing the food. Best of all, they were not stingy with the portions! Service is fantastic, too!

China Star in Stuart, FL has been around for decades but it maintains consistency. I went there again this past Saturday for a late lunch and had a excellent meal. Ordering off the lunch special menu, we had wonton soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, General Tao's Chicken, Pork Lo Mein, hot tea and two soft drinks and the bill was less than $15 before tip. It was so tasty and enjoyable, but the value was outstanding. The service was great. I kinda wish they would play that authentic Chinese music that's neat to hear when you're dining in a place like this. I look forward to returning again and again to China Star, my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Stuart, FL area.

Totally unassuming in the outside and in but the food was first rate. I had a combo with orange chicken. The sauce was done with strips of orange peal that gave the dish a fine complex flavor and aroma. Service was fine. Will defiantly come back to explore the rest of the menu. Oh, and prices are great.

I walked in 10 minutes before closing and was still offered service. It was my first time, but my beautiful girlfriend was a regular customer there. I am familiar with Chinese food from up north and had yet to find a decent location for Chinese in Florida. I was blown away by how delicious this food was. I had the General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice. My girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken. From start to finish, (noodles, tea, wonton soup, etc) everything was great. Despite the fact that they were about to close, the food was still impeccable. The staff was beyond courteous and so friendly. We didn't feel rushed at all, and felt incredibly welcome. I will be back to this location frequently. Our bill was 18 dollars for two meals. We were both stuffed and my girlfriend took some of her meal home. For what you pay, you get more than your monies worth. Staff was beyond friendly and extremely accommodating. They are an excellent source for Chinese food, worth every cent you pay, and they have take out options, so I don't know why this wouldn't be everyone in Stuart's preference for great Chinese food. I'm going back this week!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
