LOVE the hot wings here, we go every year when we visit family!

Great bar and resturant. The service was excellent, 5 starts. I had the red fish and shrimp, grilled, not blackened. The seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned as were the fries. The grilled vegetables were cooked well but had too much of a smokey taste for me.

So I blew in here on a Sunday afternoon looking for someplace COLD and DARK with CHEAP drinks and preferably CUTE bartenders. Check, check, check and check! COLD- let's face it, it's Central Florida and it was 92 outside. Cold is required and this place was chilled nicely. DARK- Oh yeah it was dark. In keeping with the name there was lots of blue neon but you still needed your phone's flashlight to read the menu. BTW, the menu is huge with lots of seafood and plenty of fried stuff to soak up the alcohol. I had some Corn Nuggets with ranch dressing and they hit the spot just fine. CHEAP- Well drinks were about $4 and mixed drinks were similar so this requirement was filled with no problems. CUTE- It turns out this place has an all-girl staff with your standard cutoff shorts outfits. My very personable bartender said she liked Central FL because the living was cheap and she could make some money especially on Lingerie Nights. What, Lingerie Nights! Don't you love dive bars! It turns out that once a month the bartenders wear lingerie to please the customers. As the night progresses, dancing on the bar is part of the act. I was just in town for a few days and I missed it but you best believe I'll be checking the calendar the next time I visit! With or without lingerie this is a solid dive bar for the area and worthy of four stars!

I eat hear all the time for the past 5 years I have reviewed them before and said they have the best wings But I was there recently and everyone's wings sucked Some had boneless I had breaded and they were dry and over cooked and nasty I told the punky tattooed waitress and she basically said tuff My girlfriend and I each had a few drinks and wings and my bill was $40 and guess what no tip and I am not sure Ill go back

Eat there all the time, usually very good. last time was terrible. You almost had to beg to get service. We had a thin tattooed server who was extremely rude. Asked for a beer and brought a bucket. Said that was what we ordered. We ordered another round , not a bucket. We did pay for the bucket, but left with the beer still in the bucket.. Will go again, but if we get the same server, we will just leave.. won't be back.. And I hate that, because it is usually a good place to go.

Blue Lagoon is a local dive bar that I really enjoy going to on a night out. The food is pretty good and prices are fairly reasonable. Blue Lagoon is pretty small and can get quite crowded in the evenings and on weekends. It can get quite loud especially during those previously mentioned peak hours. My wife prefers other restaurants in town but I like the atmosphere and food at Blue Lagoon. One of the only places in town to get gator, which I enjoy a lot.

Usually a wonderful experience, but today not so good. Burger had charcoal lighter fluid taste. All the fried food had a very fishy taste. Very disappointing.

We've been here when the snowbirds have flooded the place and during the slow summer months and the service is always excellent and the food tasty.

Checked this place out with a friend who made the recommendation. We ordered a few different drinks, some potatoe skins, fish tacos, and a dozen of their specialty jumbo wings. The mixed drinks (Cosmo and Bahama Mama) were bland and tasted off. I had a Magic Hat beer and their tap seemed fine. The potatoe skins were good but basically the same as anywhere. The fish tacos were really good and the fish was flavorful and in the form of full chunks of dense white meat. The fish tacos also came with chips and salsa which were delicious with the salsa standing out as a high light. The wings on the other hand were severely under cooked with portions of raw meat and spots of raw blood. Needless to say we stopped eating, alerted the wait staff, and made a complaint. We received a very sincere apology as well as a comp to our bill which basically took off the drinks, the wings, and an additional percentage just because they took responsibility as a stand up business. Despite the poorly mixed drinks and the undercooked chicken wings, I was content with the rest of the food and the atmosphere. However, I would have to say that this spot is a bar first and a restaurant second so be prepared for that despite their full menu. Hang out, drink, share some appetizers, and enjoy!

Good fried food, beer & mixed drinks, reasonable prices, sports and a friendly staff... Need I say more? Stop by and enjoy!

If you're looking for fried food, cold beer and local "ahem" flavor, then this is your place. Sebring falls quite a few rungs short on the culinary ladder. But if you find yourself stuck looking for a meal in Central Florida, you could do much worse than this.

This is a favorite spot to go to when I'm in town. The garlic shrimp is delicious. My Dad swears they have the best fried oysters around. I don't do oysters so I'll take his word for it.

  • Dean P.

Cold beer, great seafood menu items for a small bar in the middle of the state. Raw oysters, fried calamari, huge chicken wings, Guinness on tap, blackened mahi-mahi sandwich, and black and tan onion rings. All female wait staff, and the owners are pretty cool and will have a beer with you. Multiple HDTVs/projectors for sports games. Hands down the best bar in Sebring.

  • Ian B.

Decent drought beer selection, several Florida craft breweries. Reasonable food, although I doubt the kitchen was ever designed to do as much food sales as they do, so don't be in a rush. Waitresses are usually pretty decent at making sure there is cold beer in your cup; don't expect to be able use the TouchTunes jukebox like and hour or so before any sports event--even the employees don't understand this management decision.

  • Judy R.

LOVE the cheese Burger soup! Can NEVER get enough!

  • John P.

Nice beer selection foe a sports bar, they had Magic Hat, DFH 60 min, a few Sam Adams... The wings were just ok not crispy like I like them I ate 7 of the dozen I ordered. The best thing about this place is the service, the ladies behind the bar are friendly (not in a sleazy way) and are quick with a drink as well. Worth a drop by but not outstanding

Traveling for business in Sebring and needed a place to eat. Based on the yelp reviews we checked out this place. It is a great place. The food was good and the drinks were very reasonably priced. There aren't many non-chain restaurants for dinner in this area and this one sticks out as local and unique. I would definitely go here again!

Best place in town. I always get great service. Consistently good food. Nice selection of beers and cocktails. Been known to see a few old friends there or meet a new one. Buffalo shrimp is the best item on the menu.

So good food, great service for a beer and wine bar. Let alone Lingere night on Wednesday night. Thank you, Ashley, Jessie and Tammi, Sabrina, Alison, BJ, Megan! I enjoyed my time in Sebring thanks to you!

This is the place the locals go for a laid back, fun atmosphere with amazing food! The smothered fries appetizer is the best, and they by far have the best chicken quesadilla I've had anywhere across the U.S. Their know for their chicken wings, and they deliver in that category, too. The girls that work there are always friendly and make you feel like you're part of the family. The owners treat you like family, too. Can't go wrong at "The Blue".

    (5)
  • Steve C.

Food was great. Place was nice and clean. Waitresses were bad and ignored you to go to the back and talk with each other. The only time they stopped is when you flagged one down.

I've never been one to write reviews but, I'm going to because of my experience here tonight. I've been a fequent customer here coming about once a month. Tonight I've just been through utter unprofessionalism. The "lead bartender" in the patriots Jersey was literally talking bad about other patrons just a few feet away and wasn't being discrete. Her and a few other bartenders and waitresses were talking about times they had gone out and gotten wasted. Meanwhile I had been waiting 12 minutes on a refill, mind you it wasn't busy. Our waitresses never came to check on us the whole time we needed refills and in fact another waitresses came and took care of our refills. There was a gentleman who obviously didn't work here that was going in and out of the kitchen with a beer and appeared to be severely intoxicated. The one bartender I mentioned earlier that had been talking crap about other patrons was fooling around and kissing on I'm guessing her boyfriend. There appears to be no clear manager who is keeping things in check. It will probably be a while before I return.

  • Chad G.

They do have good food, but the time it takes to get it to the table takes for ever. The owner knows he has a good thing going there and seems to care less at improving things. Staff comes and goes. The kitchen needs to be updated or enlarged to get the food out to the customers. Their happy hour on wings is great - but really? nickeling and diming people over celery and carrots? Clearly this owner has a take it or leave it attitude, we choose to leave it, there are other places in town now. So we avoid it being a local.

Found and tried this based on nothing more than Yelp reviews and it is a winner! Great seafood and always packed. Sat at a booth in the back and service was fast and friendly. Will be back for sure!

Great stop after golfing! Cold beer, big sandwich, plenty of menu choices. Large bar, darts, music. Everyone is welcome. Ate around 5pm, but it seemed the atmosphere may change later in the evening. Less eating, more drinking.
