Honestly, this place is very good! Food is delicious, view of the golf course is great. I have been here many many times over the past 4 years. One thing I've learned, you can't be in a rush, and skip the early bird times (it can be very loud). There are many inconsiderate people who show up with groups of 6-7 or more who do not phone ahead to let a business know they are coming. At chilis that's ok. At a small local restaurant where there maybe only 2 servers on, it's just rude. Great food! Great drink specials! Come for a late lunch or early dinner. Or after the dinner rush. Just sit back and relax and enjoy a couple drinks :)

I am so disappointed! My family was in town (from Melbourne), and we decided to go for dinner. There were seven of us, so it was a good-sized group, although certainly not an untenable number of us. When we walked in, towards the end of the early-bird service, the first server took one look at us, rushed past and said "be right with you", and hurried to a serving station to talk with a colleague (no problem, athough she was brusque). We couldn't hear eactly what she said, but the inference was that we were going to be more work than she wanted to do; she called a second server over, and her attitude was worse than the first--mind you, the restaurant area was only about half-full, and the "bar area" (with tables) which is separated by a half-wall and in between the restaurant and serving stations, had NO ONE in it. In other words, we could have been accomodated easily! So they handed us off to a bus-boy (!), who explained to us that there would be a wait and it would "be a while". I said that was fine, but about how long is "a while"; he had to ask the second server, who was strolling by, not making eye contact with us and with a disgusted look on her face. They whispered and he turned to us and said, about 30 minutes. Yeah, okay, why don't you just tell us that we need to leave? LOL So we walked out, and found Basil Ristorante and experienced one of the best meals AND best service any of us have had in a long time...I highly recommend Basil (see my review), and I won't go back to Eagle's Nest! I wish I could give them -1 star. Too bad.

We stopped in here for dinner yesterday and it was excellent! I had the prime rib, baked potato and zucchini. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavor. The baked potato was moist and the zucchini was sautéed and was seasoned just right. My husband had the lemon pepper chicken, mashed potatoes, zucchini and a dinner salad and was equally happy with his meal. The waitress brought warm dinner rolls and soft butter to the table with our drinks, my husband loves bread and quickly finished three rolls. The dining room is very nice and overlooks the Sebastian Golf Course. It's a nice quiet place with a very relaxing vibe. It's nice to finally find a local restaurant that has more than seafood on the menu. The waitress said they are adding more home style meals like a turkey dinner to the menu that I think will be excellent. We will be going again.

A group of 14 went for Easter dinner. They stuffed us into 3 small tables pushed together. We asked is we could have another table and were refused. A party of 9 behind us got the same amount of tables. My dinner was cold and to salty. Would not recommend

Horrible! My fish was dry, asparagus was cold. The server was so bad. Rude. i will never go back. I would only give this restaurant a half of star but you can't.
