We were heading over the the blue dolphin but the wait of 10 min was too long for my inpatient other 1/2. Our driver told us if the blue dolphin was too busy go to The Terrace on the Circle. Good choice we sat down right away on the terrace over looking the circle. Service was good very friendly staff. Good was served quickly and hot. Great coffee and yummy corned beef hash nice and homemade.the grits and whole wheat toast were also yummy. Everything was good Hard to get. Would go again and would suggest to others

As we left the restaurant I told my wife that I was going to join yelp to share our experience with any other unsuspecting guests. The review by danielle p. on 10/13/2011 sums it up pretty well but we would have said: Really slow service an mediocre food. The lasagna was mushy and tasteless and the chicken shawarma was a build your own with dried out bits of chicken and dry pita to wrap it in. With all the other options on the Circle this place won't even get a second try.

I made it a point to join yelp just is I could write this review. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely! I gave it 4/5 stars only because they made a mistake and put the wrong cheese in my omelette. I didn't complain and, honestly...I'm glad they left it the way it was described in the menu! Visit this place if you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, prompt and courteous service!

The most disgusting place I have ever eaten at! The service is beyond slow and the food unbelievably gross. I feel ill while typing this.

We really enjoyed our omelettes at the circle. We also splurged and had mimosas that were delightful. The fresh fruit was like eating a piece of the sun and the service was very attentive. The host and hostess were the owners, a wonderful married couple. We plan on making this a traditional spot to grab brunch on our days off!

Hidden on top of Coconuts restaurant-Use the elevator to the right to get to the second floor and walk right in. We ate here on Labor Day Weekend, Monday morning. I read through some of the YELP reviews and was hesitant, but decided that we would try it anyway. The food was diner style and diner quality. Reminded me of my college days and our 3am trips to diners after a night out in NYC. Service was delightful and quick. The views were lovely. Menu: Yes, the menu did offer a medley of pastas, sandwiches and some falafel tossed in for good measure. Typical diner style fare at diner prices. Food: Typical diner quality. Was not under- nor overimpressed. We ordered: - pasta with red sauce for the kids - chicken parm with marinara pasta - chicken shwarma - beef shwarma - Breakfast Omelette - Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice Pasta with red sauce: was a hit with the kids! They gobbled it down like they hadn't eaten for days. (Highly unusual since our little epicures are quite picky and prefer salmon and capers or crepes to diner food). Chicken Parm with Marinara Pasta: The Chicken Parm was a bit salted for my taste, but typical for diner style food. Chicken Shwarma: Chunky chicken blocks served with pita and hummus. More of a platter then a ready to go pita wrap. Beef Shwarma: Literally slices of steak tossed in some seasoning. Nothing memorable, but fine for a diner. Breakfast Omelette: Very good for an omelette. The Freshly Squeezed Orange was DELICIOUS!! Very Fresh! Service was fantastic. The hosts were kindhearted and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and on pointe. Completely contrary to the other reviews here, but they were FANTASTIC!! The view overlooked the center of St. Armand's Circle. Very pretty morning. Enjoyed the view. The kids LOVED watching the cars and the people go by. Overall, this restaurant was good. Go in expecting a diner and diner style food and you won't be disappointed.

I was not happy with place. The service was extremely slow and they were not busy. Our drinks tasted like cooking oil. I ordered a Reuben. I will give it to them on the sandwich. It was very tasty. The fries were cold. We were waiting so long for our bill that we finally just went in and asked for it. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Yuck. If you head back toward the dirty bathrooms you can see for yourself how filthy the kitchen is. There is just layer upon layer of grime on the counters, floor and walls. Then head back down the elevator and find yourself somewhere to eat that wont have long hair in your food. In addition to the grossness, an employee spoke very rudely to me (loudly "to herself" so I would hear) and then got nasty when I spoke up to defend myself. We were our waiter's only table, but we waited (with small children) so long for our bill that I eventually wandered inside to try to pay my. Gave the waiter my credit card without seeing the bill and waited another ten minutes for my receipt to sign.

SKIP IT !!!!! GROSS!! A combo Lebanese, Italian, American???? WTF?? The Middle Eastern: EPIC FAIL Very poor attempt. (believe me, I know my Middle Eastern Food!!) Perhaps the mid-western tourist will not notice?? Admission by snagged-toothed waitress: " But I make the Kibbe myself" (explains a lot) Breakfast Omelette: FAIL, Spinach and feta, Overworked eggs, no feta Good Rye bread, server disappeared, no coffee refill, had to get up and go find her. asked for coffee 3 times.. Good spot on the circle.. on a terrace not worth climbing the stairs for!

The people there were so welcoming. The food came quick and there was no lag time between the serving of the drinks and the breakfast, which was fabulous by the way.

We were looking for a breakfast place during our stay in Lido Key and this place was pointed out by someone. We took an elevator to the second floor and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a nice view. Very reasonable prices and great service. Very friendly staff. We had breakfast at the place everyday during our stay.
