Delicious gluten free pizza crust. I got the vegan pizza with daiya cheese and arugula on top. It's not listed online but they have it and it's good!

Who the hell puts Cannoli filling in Zeppoles? If you don't know how to make them and don't sell them say it from the beginning don't just make it how ever you think it should be and then tell me that's how we do it here all the time. Don't say I know what it is I can make it for you if you know know the simples of desserts.

I love their pizza. The taste is basically the best I've had in Sarasota. It is tough to find good pizza out here, but this one is definitely worth going to. Also, the salads are very good and large. The decor is slightly outdated, but I don't care. Just keep shoveling the delicious food toward me. Lastly, you have got to try the sausage pizza and the grilled chicken pizza. If you are fans of those two, you'll love them.

Worst pizza...jarred garlic, fried eggplant with no eggplant, tasteless ricotta...Greek salad called Greek salad because they threw on feta...with balsamic dressing...horrible waste of money...

Great Lunch special two cheese slices of pizza and a canned soda for $5.99. Dine in so tipping needs to be added but a great deal. Pizza is crusty and tasty. Place is jammed with blue collar mechanics from neighboring car dealers. Some friends and local single diners like myself. Good spot for lunch.

Great stuff. But you guys can't take a delivery order at 8:15 pm? A little early to stop.

It's worthy of a bookmark! Come here for the home style comfort food and friendly service. Pizza and pasta are winners, while salad is "meh". Clean, consistent and truly a family business run wit love. Limited beer and wine selections, but who needs fancy with pizza THIS good?

This place was awful. Delivery took forever, food was cold, no flavor, not fresh, it all seemed canned, no silverware (in a hotel and they obviously knew that). I'd rather have dominos pizza, and I hate dominos.

So we found ourself in the area, in the mood for pizza, and starving. As a result, we decided to give this place another try. Look, besides Goodfellas, this is some of the best pizza in town (we prefer this crust, the way God intended pizza - do NOT get me started as to how awful Chicago deep dish "pizza" is. Well, for the record, Chicago pizza looks like someone vomited in a shallow dish, but I digress). However, the last time we were there the service was incredibly slow. Anyhoo, we drove by, saw how empty the place was and thought, "how bad can the service be? Let's give it another chance." So we sat down at 5:45, ordered shortly thereafter, and waited. And waited. And waited. Long story short, from sitting down to getting the check took almost 2 hours. As for drink refills, forget it. It was like waiting for Gunga Din. This place still gets two stars because the pizza is really good (the eggplant appetizer, however, is another story), but the service, while friendly, still sucks. Bottom line, get Rico's for takeout, or if you don't have 2 hours to kill, go to Goodfellas instead.

Its a good pizza for the money, last time we came the crust tasted a little soapy and I was put off, but this time it was much better.

Alright, horrible review time. I don't like doing this but it's absolutely necessary. Sitting outside waiting for my goddamn pizza, the hostess brings me out a pitcher and a glass. The glass was dirty so I asked her for another one. The second glass was just as dirty. Since I have a fear of complaining to the people making my food (thanks to the movie waiting), I decided to clean the glass myself with my paper towel. Content with my half clean glass I poured my beer. At this moment I feel a real shit coming on. I'm not afraid of shitting in public restrooms so I venture off to the restroom and lock the door behind me. The door opens and I yell "I'm trying to take a shit here!" The man pays no attention and washes his hands. I was just standing there because I was lining the toilet. When he left I closed the door again and locked it. Finally, I pull my pants down and take a seat. A boy walks in and I yelled "someone's in here!" He doesn't listen and I hurry and pull my pants up so I don't get some charges brought up against me in court. I'm kinda pissed at this point because I really needed to poop. I'm now sitting at the table drinking my beer and waiting for my pizza. The pizza might be good but I'm never going to come here again.

We have ordered Rico's several times over the years, at first because we heard it was good, and then over time just because of convenience. We are ending that trend, as we realized just how terrible the food is. We ordered chicken piccata recently, and it was so disgusting it was pretty much inedible. It was absolutely *drowning* in butter and oil, the artichokes were canned and tough, and the mushrooms were chewy and too large. The "spaghetti" was bloated and way over-cooked. The sauce for mozzarella sticks must be canned, as it was acidic, sharp and ulcer-inducing. We've had to send pizzas back in the past because their oven's were burning an inedible tasting cinge on the bottom of the crust. They also greatly need to work on their phone friendliness and customer service skills, though we have noticed a small improvement on that over time. We give it two stars and not one because their desserts are fine and their meatball subs are tolerable. I wish this family-owned business would start investing in the quality of their food and preparation more. I'd much rather support an establishment like this over a chain. It's sad, really, but frankly, a rip-off.

Bewere!!! We ordered a meal for delivery. After the driver brought our food to us we noticed something missing from our front foyer. There was no one but the driver that passed through. We strongly believe the driver is a thief and stole from my house. We will never order from Rico's ever again.

I'll say that the delivery time was faster than anticipated, but this is about the best thing I can say. We ordered a margarita pizza. It was the most mediocre pizza I've had in a long time. Very little flavor. I mean, I was almost tempted to put salt on it (but that would be gross, too). I have no idea how they made it so flavorless, but they did. And the fresh mozz was rubbery (leading me to believe that it wasn't actually fresh, but rather pre-packaged "fresh" mozzarella. There was barely any basil and the tomatoes were lifeless and...again...flavorless. Sorry, but I thought the public should know about this in case you were hoping for amazing (or even average) pizza.

After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting for delivery, I called to see what the status was. The person I spoke with then told me your fax ribbon wasn't changed and you never received the fax. I was offered a discount on the order, but having already waiting 80 minutes, my family did not want to wait possibly 30 - 60 mins for the food to arrive. Needless to say I'm disappointed with your online ordering capabilities. Checking the fax to see if it is prepared for orders would be a daily task I'd assume. My family was looking forward to eating Rico's Pizza, however now almost two hours later, I'm rushing them out the door for some fast food before their after school activities. I'll think twice about ordering from here again

Found this place while on vacation. Delicious pizza. Great service. The wait was a little long, but the pizza was worth the wait.

Their Pizza is pretty good! I Like it. The staff stinks. They are unorganized, mismanaged, untrained and have a bad attitude. I came in at 8:50 last Thursday night to get a "quick " bite to eat. I sat at the bar for a good 15 minutes and no one took my order or acknowledged me. There was a kid breaking down boxes right in front of me while staring at the TV, there were two cooks standing 10 feet ahead of me, a muscular guy (manager) playing with his cell phone by the oven and 4 girls running around the place. At this time, Rico's was pretty empty. There were 4 people at two different tables and one other guy at the bar. So, more staff than customers. Only a few couples came in to pick up a phone-in order while I was there. After sitting there for 15 minutes, a stocky girl behind the counter asked me what i wanted to drink. I actually found my own menu! I ordered a beer and she never came back. Finally a nicer girl apologized and got me the beer. She eventually helped me, even though she was covering the floor. When she brought my beer, I asked for two slices and a salad. She brought my salad quickly and said, "we don't have any cheese slices right now!" Isn't that like a Chinese restaurant without rice? A few minutes later, after I had the beer, the stocky girl came back and asked me with an attitude what the problem was. I said, "don't worry about it, I have someone else helping me!" She stood there looking at me with that attitude. I told her she could go back to sleep if she wanted too. She did not like that. Finally, after being there for 35 minutes i had a personal pizza, that ended up costing me a lot more than I wanted to spend and was more food than I needed. I had been there a week before when it was a little busies for a Pizza Birthday party with my family. Again, the food was fine, but we had to ask for refills on drinks, we had to ask for napkins, silverware and dishes. Nothing was organized and the staff poorly trained. At the end of the day folks, you can get Pizza so many places and get much better service a smile and a "thank you for your business"!

I regularly order here when I'm at work. I do love the calzones Customer Service: I am rating this one lower This time because I didn't get any food this time. I work less than a quarter mile from the location, and I can not leave work to get food. My orders for myself have always been under their $15 minimum for delivery, but since I'm so close, they always accommodate. Tonight I called and got quite the attitude when I asked for my order. The woman said they have a minimum order $ for delivery, and I said I'm a regular, close, and you always accommodate. She then became very rude, saying she highly doubts that, and then asked me to tell her what the total cost my normal order comes to, if I really am a regular I'd know it. I said about 10 or 11, I'm guessing, and she basically said nope. Inspector clouseau got me there! Caught me, making it up I guess? Because I supposed people call up, try and order less than the minimum, and then pretend to be regulars? Oh, and she said, and I quote: You know this is saturday, right? ( No, I didn't. Thanks for the heads up) And we are way too busy to be making an accommodation for your smaller order. So buy more food or we can't help you. I google mapped it, b/c I'm stuck at work and hungry, it would take 6 minutes to walk the distance! Sweet! I was looking forward to that darn calzone all day too!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
