Found this place based on other's good reviews. Did not dissapoint, it's our new go to place for Chinese take out food in Palmer Ranch. Friendly service and staff. I really love they completely have opened the kitchen so you can actually see the food being cooked, you can also see the cleanliness of the kitchen which goes along way for me. We really like their General Tso's chicken and sweet & sour chicken. It's seems like it's always busy so make sure you put in your order with plenty of time especially on the weekends.

My wife and I love New York Chinese. Delivery is fast which is great for last minute meals or laziness. Anyone we have ordered with loves it and now drives across town to pick it up. It's all good, but my favorite is the Mongolian beef as spicy as they can make it. Delicious food at good prices at your doorstep, what more can you ask for?

Since I moved to Sarasota in 2010 I've been hurting for good Chinese food. The hurt is over! After try a few different places this is it. I had my favorite General Tso's chicken and it had great flavor and spice, I especially like the green peppers in it. Good job, NY Chinese!!! Only one negative the Wonton soup needs a little work. It's a bit bland and the Wonton's fell apart and needs more flavor in the stuffing. I plan to got back to try the orange beef and egg drop soup.

We ordered the Family Dinner for 3, and fed six and had some left over. The food was very good (S&S Chicken, Beef Broccoli and Cashew Chicken). The food was prepared quickly, packaged well for my 10 minute drive home and quite tasty. The wonton soup was fairly bland, but not enough to lower my overall rating. I printed out a coupon from their website for 2 extra egg rolls. We will order from NY Chinese again the next time we are in SRQ.

Good food, fast delivery. Food is always served piping hot, huge portions and fast, and friendly delivery drivers. I would give them 4 stars, but if you look at the picture I posted, the egg roll they sent was so nasty and freezer burnt.

A little pricey for Chinese but worth it. One of the better take out places in the area. Nice and clean! Call ahead and pick up. Great for those nights after the beach when you just don't feel like cooking. I love the General Tso chicken and the house lo-mein and definitely get the crab Rangoon!

PPL this place is awful, food is really bad. They say NY Chinese food NOT is just the name but not the food. If I could give half a star or less I would. For the person who post a pic of the egg roll, dam I had the same nasty burned egg roll identical to the pic. Bad , awful , nasty

Excellent Chinese food in Palmer Ranch! Tucked away in the shopping center this little gem was a great find. Steamed dumplings, Beef Satay, BBQ Ribs, Pork Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Chicken are delish! *This place can get quite busy both for delivery and take out so give yourself some time when placing an order as they tend to take longer than your average Chinese restaurant.....It's worth it because the food is always fresh and cooked just right!

Pleasant surprise in a strip mall. It was a bit hard to find at first as it is in the Publix strip mall off the main road. Had the family dinner for four. Fantastic value - included egg roll and soup and you could pick four additional dishes from a list of approximately 10 dishes. This was a first for me where usually the dishes are preselected for you. Food was hot and impressive for a take out place. You can eat inside as there are three tables but the majority of their business seems to be take out. Thought the food would be more American Chinese but it was actually relatively authentic Chinese (except for the egg roll) Will definitely come again if in town.

This was the second chance for them. And the failed. Not one of of dishes we had delivered was good. Everything tastes of Chinese all spice. Nothing had character. The dumplings I am sure are the ones you but frozen. We are not going back

My favorite Chinese takeout in Sarasota. Hot and sour soup is amazingly good. Their steamed dumplings are not too doughy and the filling is tasty.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
