With frozen yogurt joints becoming as ubiquitous as Starbucks (and there just happens to be one next door), it's nice to see one where the little bit of extra effort is so obvious. Menchies is just a little bit cleaner, the selection is just a little bit better, and the staff is just a little bit friendlier. It seems more kid friendly than say, Yogurtology. Great selection of flavors and toppings. Highly recommended.

Been to Menchie's in the past and this one by far has the best service. Went in with a Yelp check-in special and even though they were unsure of whether their store was running it, they honored it. The girl at the register was extremely sweet. Also good to note that it was one of the cleanest froyo places I've been to and I came at a fairly busy hour. All the tables were wiped clean and the chairs were all in place.

I've been here at least ten times in the past year. I only eat the original frozen yogurt flavor. They are not consistent though as twice the yogurt was watery.

Great yogurt as usual with menchies. So happy to see there is one in Sarasota now! Great variety of yogurt and toppings were all fresh and full. I just felt the fresh fruit topping selection was lacking. I would have liked to see more variety of fresh fruit. Clean restaurant and bathrooms and the customer service was excellent!

I've been to many a Menchies and this one was one of best kept. The toppings were all full and they had a great variety of flavours. If they have the cookie butter flavour: get it! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your sugar rush :)

Although, I had heard of Menchie's via the television show "Undercover Boss"; I've never been because I'm really not into frozen yogurt. So when I was trolling Instagram I saw that they were offering free yogurt, I decided to try it. And boy and I happy I did. Because it was free I thought it was going to be a madhouse and had prepared to go to Culver's for custard. Contrarily, I was able to walk right in to be greeted by a pleasure worker who explained that the first 6oz were free. So I got my toddlers yogurt first, let him eat then I went back for my own (which he ended up eating). To my surprise the yogurt was delicious and they have an array of toppings. My co-worker met me there (my son are half of her yogurt, also...LOL) and she has a Menchie's card because had frequently eats there. Great yogurt and great atmosphere! I enjoyed sitting out on the patio.

We've been living overseas and since we are back we went to Menchies again and it was wonderful as usual! Friendly cashier as we walked in greeted us and lots of new flavors to try. Wonderfully clean store and lots and lots of toppings! Better then the Menchies near Boston for sure! Great service here!

Menchie's is C-U-T-E !!! There is really no other way to describe it. I was in kawaii heaven. Everything is just adorable... from the logos, music, to the apparel for sale*, giveaways, cups, and even the people that work there**. With the traffic congestion and raised speed limit on University Parkway, I always just flew on past Menchie's ~ never even noticing the place. After dining at a restaurant in the area that has really bad desserts (not going to name names), I was searching for some ice cream / froyo -like substances in the area on my phone. Menchie's was the closest, and by far the best discovery I have made in the locale. The quality of the yogurt is smooth and creamy with substance, for once. It does not melt and become some sort of separated water concoction. I highly recommend any of their chocolate combinations and toppings. *Yes, they have clothing for sale, and it is cute. **The doe-eyed, dark haired boys and girls that work there. Not hot, just cute.

I will go in for frozen yogurt at least twice a week, originally I was waiting for them to bring out their key lime pie flavor but now I am just addicted. They have a great selection of yummy flavors and toppings.

5 stars only because the yogurt is delicious. The employees however not 5 star. Never once have I been in an establishment where it is ok to kick paying customers out just because you want to go home. Did not appreciate being kicked out while trying to enjoy my dessert. Don't know if I would come back.

We love Menchies. How delightful to find one here in Sarasota while visiting. We took our family there and the children really enjoyed picking out the flavor of yogurt and then adding their favorite toppings. It is a great place for children's birthday parties . ..after golf treats ..I can think of hundreds of reasons to go. Point is , you won.t be disappointed . You pay by the pound and it is easy to get too much which of course, you will eat.

Whats not to love about this place! Everything was very good and the service (cashier) was friendly too. I just dont see why they would ask for tips when they do absolutely nothing other than ring you up and say thank you? Anyone know? Other than that 5 stars all the way. NO TIP!!! Anyone tip the Wal Mart cashier???

There is absolutely NO better Frozen Yogurt shop in our area than Menchies. This is high praise from a self confessed Fro-Yo addict. The staff is always beyond friendly, helpful and just contribute to a fun atmosphere. The frozen yogurt speaks for itself. Creamy, just the right amount of sweet and flavor. There are always a plethora of toppings and they are fresh to boot!

This is much like the other FROYO joints around, but they seem to do it a little bit better than the rest. Good stuff, clean store, friendly staff. Oh and one thing that I liked was the fact that they had sugar free hot fudge! I recommend!

I have been a fan of froyo since back in the days TCBY being the ONLY froyo. Oh how times have changed. Now you have all the power of the mixing and matching of flavors and the, frankly, overwhelming assortment of toppings. This is NOT the type of joint I'd take the indecisive. A) it will either take FOREVER or B) the person will end up with a strange muddled dairy concoction that involves both passion fruit poppers, peanuts, and Captain Crunch, but to each their own. Moving right along, the selection of yogurt is impressive and of good quality (how do you screw that kind of stuff up?) and the toppings bar is, as mentioned above, overwhelming, but fun.Be careful as this place charges by the ounce so your heaping mounds of fresh blackberries can push you over the $8 mark if you don't keep yourself and your love of fresh fruit in check. Depending on your maturity level this can also become somewhat of a competition, as it has with my fiance and I. We make bets as we stroll up to the register as to whom is more glutinous. My one point of issue is the staff who has been whipped into corporate shape at the tender age of 16. They are frighteningly upbeat....that is until you sample a topping. They have tiny little sample cups so you may sample the FLAVORS of yogurt, but be prepared to be vilified publicly, like shouting across the store to PLEASE NOT EAT ANY OF THE TOPPINGS PRIOR TO CHECK OUT, kind of vilification. I kid you not, dear yogurt fans, my fiance tried A (note singular) mango popper and this happened.. Go, enjoy all the samples of froyo you can indulge in before you give yourself a brain freeze, but for the love of God, don't eat the toppings before you pay.

Yummy!!! But i miss the GINGERBREAD flavor :(. i guess is only for "Christmas" season...sigh. Other than that. its a yummy experience.
