Highly, highly recommend Kiev Deli to prepare your party platters for your next event. Your guests will be wowed. The meat and cheese selections are all imported, and as spoiled as we are locally with the availability of Boars Head, we truly haven't savored artisanship like Kiev Deli prepares. Olga will ask your prefernces, but trust her judgement as well. For our office Christmas party for 15, she suggested dry salami, ham, and cheese platters, each with a condiment/salad compliment. Talk about a hit! We have teammates from Poland and Hungary, and they, as well as us "locals" knew we experienced a culinary treat. To round out your spread, they offer pastries and desserts from European local bakeries (Italian, Greek, france). They also sell European breads from Bavarian Bakery in Sarasota, so that saves you another trip. Just tell them ahead of time what you want so they accomodate your specific needs. Can't say enough about Olga and Marc...they know their customers and truly delight in pleasing them. P.S. They also offer grocery items from Eastern Europe, Italy, and the rest of the Mediterranean. Inventory is fresh, well rotated, and their place of business, as well as equipment, is spotless! Order now for New Years, and no, I'm not a family member, just a very excited new client.

The widest selection of authentic Eastern European food in Sarasota County. Friendly service. We always feel welcomed, well served. This store makes a huge difference for us living in Sarasota. We moved from San Francisco and didn't expect to find such a good European food store, which would meet all our needs and more. Highly recommend you visit. It might change your experience of the whole city. The owners, Olga and Mark, are always willing to listen to your needs and find whatever would make you happy. We can't live without this store.

Great selection of dry sausages, meats, cheeses, smoked fishes, candies, canned food, cakes for those who crave for European food. The owners are knowlegable and helpful, will let you try sausages - just ask. Prices are great too. Products are fresh - what sets them apart from other European stores. Love this place!

A hidden jewel in Sarasota! Eastern European delicacies and imported products from all over Russia, Ukrain, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic...Lituania...ALL OVER. Polish food, Greek food, Slovak food. Sandwiches!!!!! You MUST TRY A SANDWICH!!!

Awesome. Very nice staff, good selection of European products. Bought some Georgian wine. Wonderful stuff you can't find anywhere else. Prune butter, smoked fish, sausages, pastries, yum! Couldn't help spending a lot for amazing stuff! Will go again.

I love the husband and wife team that operate this deli. So nice and so friendly. My bf and I always come in and stock up on European goodies. Love their meat and cheese selection, very delicious and fresh. They also have a wide variety of sweets, drinks, teas, pickled goods, pâtés, and caviars. Just wish they had a little more variety on bread, but what they do have is also great.
