I was in a big hurry and decided to take a chance on this place. I should have known better. I got the gyro combo - gyro, side of fries (salad for me) and a drink for $6.99. The good: Greek dressing was great Friendly Service Subbed the fries for a salad without hesitation or up-charge Cheap The bad: Yellow onions (Should be red) Hard tomatoes Iceberg lettuce Rock hard pita Employee who called it a GY-row Interior reminded me of an old Wendy's from the 80s.

I only had takeout here, I did not eat at the restaurant. With that said, The steak sandwich reminded me of steak-um and the yellow rice and black beans were not good at all. I'm afraid I won't be back to try anything else.

Gyros were perfect. Philly cheese steak was also very good but it did have a lot of black pepper. The restaurant was very clean. Good value.

I am a big fan of a good Gyro. I have tried most places is Sarasota and they don't come close. Remember this is a fast food restaurant, not fine dining. We have gotten take out at least 30 times since they opened and have always been happy. My kids have sometimes wanted a burger and strayed off the gyro path, but always go back!! I have tried the seafood, but was not a big fan. It is what it is. This is not a fresh seafood restaurant. Employees are always polite and the inside is clean. Oh also, the onion rings are the BOMB!!!

If you think of it as a fast food restaurant then it's actually decent food. Be warned that the last 20 minutes they're open they only cook with the deep fryers. So don't show up late night and expect anything but fries, chicken fingers, hush puppies, Ect...

My wife and I went here on at least half a dozen occasions when we lived in South Florida and took several family members there on occasion and each time the food was awesome when you consider it is a quick service restaurant. Every time we ordered there the food was cooked in fresh oil and had a fresh taste to it. The seafood was always good tasting and my wife loved it, my chicken tenders were fresh and hot, and there was always enough left over for me to take to work the next day for lunch. The other review I left for it was on another review site, first word starts with trip, that's as much as I will reference another site here and the owner was always responding to reviews. As a side to the review whenever we ate there the staff was always attentive to us and we always enjoyed eating there. I will be back in South Florida in late Sept 2014 and plan on stopping back there for lunch.

I'm a frequent flyer in this place. I absolutely love their wings. very reasonably priced, and their sauce is to die for. I always get catering orders from them for Sunday Football. I've also had their seafood, the freshness is amazing, and they spice mixture, makes it for a really tasty meal.

Yes, it's true. I am writing a review for a fast food place. Is that totally ridiculous? No! Not when it's fast food that's actually real food! Not when it's fast food that doesn't mean greasy burgers and soggy fries! I met my dad here for a quick lunch after he had told me what a great option it was and I'm very glad I did. For $6, you can have a grilled fish sandwich (I had basa, which I'd never heard of but liked), a drink (which, in my case was a 1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade- one of my favs) and a side salad (just iceberg, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions- nothing special, but not bad). You get your fish on a fresh roll (and a pretty good sized piece of fish at that), and 10 minutes later, you have finished your relatively healthy meal, and are satisfied without feeling that typical post-fast-food feeling. If you're in a rush and starving, this is a great choice at a great price. I'm sure I'll be back and will probably try the tilapia, the grouper, or the shrimp next time. I also found out they are planning to open a branch in Bradenton which will definitely come in handy for me since I live near there. Thanks G & S!

This place is absolutely disgusting. Took 25 minutes @the drive thru and they still got order wrong. Took it back, took another 10 minutes and didn't even get a "sorry about that" from the ghetto staff. Like I owed them something. Whomever wrote the dazzling reviews are obviously owners or staff. The Gyro "Yiro" was actually ok. And, yes the staff says Jy-ro. The fries are actually "ok" The "Tilapia" disgusting... soaked in disgusting oil. Wouldn't go back there for free! Please see the pics of the inedible soggy oil soaked "Tilapia"

Terrific little casual food place, with a surprisingly broad menu. Not sure whether you want fish or burgers or fried chicken or gyros or wings or salad? Go here, then decide; they're all good. Very reasonable prices, large portions, flexible service, and particularly good fries.

The best honey BBQ boneless wings I've ever had. Chicken tenders are not heavily breaded, but still have a wonderful crunch to them. The fries are crispy and not greasy with a light all-purpose seasoning. As far as "express" is concerned, this is an exquisite establishment.

A local favorite. Many patrons here. Outside patio nice to sit and eat. I tried a gyro meal and my friend had a fish sandwich meal deal. The gyro was piled high, full of great thin sliced meat of lamb and beef combination. On a toasted pita bread, dressed with onions, tomatoes and flavored nicely with tzatziki sauce. The fish is a fresh cut and a large portion of cod fish, larger than the bun! Also topped with tartar sauce for extra mouth watering flavor. We both had fries as the extra, clean oil and crispy! I recommend this place. Service is good, restaurant is clean.

I am giving 1 star because this site won't allow negative stars! I just left there and left my so called grouper on the table. I ordered the large scampie style grouper and my wife had the Mahi salad. The order came to us with my grouper fried so we sent it back. My wife's salad had three pieces of Mahi on top of a decent looking salad. The Mahi was some nasty and old fish smelling. She took off the Mahi and ate a bit of salad while we waited for my scampi grouper. A guy brought out a plate and apologized for the mistake on the fried grouper. The scampi grouper was fish on this small styro plate but I seriously doubt it was grouper! I took one bite and was done. It had some type of Cajun seasoning but that did not help. It tasted like some frozen, thawed and refrozen fish and it was gross. This was not grouper, I am not sure what kind of fish it was but we live here and know what grouper should look and taste like. Even the beans and yellow rice had zero flavor to them. It was a huge portion of rice and beams but no flavor. We just walked out and never to return. $20 wasted on this place. Most people were eating fried foods and seemed fine their food but if you don't like fried food stay far away from here, STAY FAR AWAY!
