Walk in . It's hotter inside the place than outside. The ice cream looks like it's melting. We ask: is the air conditioning working? No says the sole employee. Its been broken all day. She agrees with our assessment that the ice cream looks melted. We tell her that they should have closed. We walked out. Man, someone is making very bad decisions at this place.

Ice cream was melted when I got it and the order was wrong. Also, the spoons they gave us were the size of a toothpick. Will not go back.

I just went in, looking for something sweet after I just had pizza. The line was almost out the door and when I got up to place my order they were out of half of the ice cream's half of the toppings and everything was dirty a mess and no one seems to know what they were doing. There was no manager just too young high school girls looking like they were having fun on a Friday night. It's not the girls fault there was just no management. They were trying their best to keep everyone calm and doing a good job at it. I will never go back there and I don't recommend anybody else trying it

This is the most disgusting Cold Stone location I have ever visited! Why? 1. the AC was not on or working--- it was sweltering hot! 2. barely any seating 3. people begging for money in front of the store and even coming inside to beg. 4. only one employee working. We waited 30 minutes and gave up. 5. the floors, counters, everything was filthy. 6. the ice cream was melted in the cooler and they were still serving it! Next time you are in the mood for ice cream and sweets in downtown Sarasota, even late at night--- go to the Jolly for some gelato and pastries. The Jolly is cheaper and clean!

i have to say this: every Cold stone that i visit is consistent as far as the ICE CREAM goes. The ice cream is soooo good!! I love the Cookie Doughnt You Want Some...with extra cookie dough (ahem). Now with that being said, depending on the location, you may encounter nonchalant teenagers, or dirty floors/bathrooms. But i came here for the ice cream, not a five-star DINING experience. So!, if the teenager is attentive and courteous, then he/she gets a tip, which then means that i get serenaded. :)

Good spot after a movie. Chain store keeps the consistency across all stores. If it's your first time go easy some of the creations are intense. Most are good but quantity is large and sometimes hard to eat the whole serving.
