Really enjoyed my visit to this local Sarasota brewery. They had a cool vibe on the inside with a great variety of local craft beer to sample. Both bartenders were really easy to talk to and knowledgeable of all the beer. The tasting room also has long windows that let you observe the brewing area. Local food trucks sit outside to offer food. There were a few games to entertain/engage patrons hanging out. They also offer quizzo one evening during the week but I can't recall which night it was (sorry that's not super helpful but I'm sure you can call and they'll let you know). Overall, a great afternoon.

Beer- lots of options, unique beers, good price! Service- GREAT! Friendly, helpful, engaging and happy to answer questions. Food trucks very good and reasonable prices. We came from CA and were so happy and felt very welcomed and at home in this place.

Loved this small brew house tucked off I-75 in Sarasota. The beers are amazing and the staff is fun and knowledgeable. I would recommend this highly to any lover of beer or just looking for a fun place to kick back and have some laughs. I will be back!

What a neat place, I love the all the of pictures of circuses, the whole big top theme is very cool. They're not officially open but this was our first stop on our brew bus tour. Great way to start off the tour. They were very friendly, they place looked great. They even had a great merchandise section. The most important is that the beer was good!

Second time through. Wanted to get a run through a couple beers before I tossed a review. First, the tasting room is very well done. Small enough to keep it cozy, but large enough to accommodate a couple large groups of people. Both times I've been here there has also been really good live music and food truck service. Now for the good stuff, the beer. I've tried two of their staples, the key lime wheat and white sands wheat and both are light and full of flavor. Tonight I'm trying a new release, cracked pepper orange saison and it's spot on. Never been a fan of saisons but this one could change all that. Overall this is one of the better breweries I've visited and I'm lucky enough to have it 3 miles from my home.

Nice hidden gem! Great beer. I really enjoyed the Key Lime Brew. Refreshing. They have a dartboard and a small selection of food. But they're cool with you ordering food in. We had a pizza delivered and they let us use their paper plates which was very nice. Cool little spot.

Stopped in for a growler to-go and stayed for a flight. Sitting along side I-75 I've passed by here many times and today I had the time to stop. Tonya greeted me as I walked in and showed me what was on tap. I ordered a growler of their IPA. A side note is that they will fill any growler, not only their own. I decided to go with a flight IPA - Great after taste Ashley IPA - Amazing taste a must drink Honey Jalapeno - You could taste the honey and the jalapeno separately Black IPA - One of the best IPA's I've ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable, I left with a 32oz growler and a pint glass for less than $14.00

Good service and decent beers. I would definitely come back next time in town. They have a food cart outside and have menus for local food establishments. The beers are light allowing you to try a few of them. They also have trivia and live music.

Love having a good local brewery. Be sure to check out the limited production runs. They just won the bronze medal at the us open for beer. They are going to go far. Great craft beers laid back environment waiting for the back patio to open.

This place is remote, and doesn't have THAT much atmosphere, BUT they get big ups from me for having a daring and diverse beer menu. Way to go for trying things like licorice stout or peanut-butter chocolate stout and key lime lager... I don't like light beers, but this key lime one even rivals the one from Shorts Brewery in Michigan. Way to try something new. Get some food, a better sign out front, and a bit of art on the walls, a skylight, and you guys will be rollers! Thanks for a fun stop!

I loved this place. I love the retro circus decor and the cute beer names. The service was very good. I LOVE the key lime beer, it is ridiculously delicious. I took off one star at my husband's request, he had circus city IPA and wasn't impressed, he doesn't think it is hoppy enough for an IPA.

Great place, great people. Made us northerners feel at home. They had a great selection and all the beer we tasted was good. They do not serve food but are happy to help you get delivery. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

The tasting room is nice. Two tv's and love music on Saturday night. The beer is really good and fresh as it's brewed right there. The owner is a really cool guy and more than happy to show you the brewery. Had the Circus City IPA and the Raspberry IPA both are amazing.

The beer here is terrible. Also we used a group on to get a voucher for a tasting and free growler but only were able to get a few of their beers in a growler which was not mentioned in the group on.

Beer was good , but bartender had no personality. We were first ones in for the day and were not even greeted with a hello how are you doing. After we chose a flight proceeded to play on cell phone instead of engaging his customers . Won't be back

Big Top Brewing is opening their tasting room soon. (Hopefully in October, fingers crossed) So far, from what I've tried, the beers are phenomenal. The brew master there is doing something right and it seems what has been released so far has only scratched the surface of what their talents have in store. Complimenting the local cultures historic scene with the Ringling Circus nearby, their theme gives a subtle and rustic charm to what was once entertainment for the masses in our country. The tasting room is tastefully decorated with local Ringling college art. It's spacious, and a great place to kick a few back after work.

Big Top has a crew of guys that have pursued their true interest in bringing unique craft beer to the south FL. Just a few short years ago, the brews that sat on store shelves were mostly huge corporate beers like Sam Adams or Yuengling... After the micro craze started, we had to rely on bigger companies like Sierra Nevada to get an IPA or a stout. Big Top is a local micro with some solid beers - If you don't try their imperial IPA or stout, you're missing out!

Stopped by with a friend a couple of weeks ago. Pleasant environment and friendly staff. We each tried a Flight of their brews. Sorry to say that we decided none of BT's brews had character or body enough for our taste. We continued our craft brewery 'tour' to other locations and were much rewarded there. Good luck to them though; it's a tough business.
