Amazing quality sandwiches without the high price! This place is perfect for those who work or live downtown. The staff is friendly and attentive, the sandwiches always taste great. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and sat outside on the terrace. Beautiful location with the perfect amount of shade for a warm Florida day. Highly recommend!

Great food. Price great. They lost my order but made my sandwich in like 2 minutes after discovering order was lost. Small place would not normally stop at a place that looks like this, however I would have missed out in a great sandwich

Found another place to get a quick sandwich. It's so cute! It is owned by the church next door and all profits go to the church. The preacher makes homemade meatballs, cole slaw and macaroni salad. I had a rueben that was filled with fresh corned beef. I could only eat half the sandwich. It was tasty. The little side of macaroni salad hit the spot too. It's a little bitty place with seating for about 20 people maybe. It reminds me of an old sandwich shop from the 50's and 60's.

There a little place with 4 blue walls, a menu board and a whole lotta sandwich goodness going on. Angers deli has been around since 1978 but the real deal besides darn good fresh sandwiches made with local ingredients is their mission..."saving children one sandwich at a time" - all profits go to build beds in orphanages in third world countries. The photos show the good work and the truth is in the French dip. And meatball sandwich. The Minor family puts out fresh squeezed lemonade and the au Gus for the French dip is real French onion soup. I had them cater a graduation party and the profits build six bunks for children. And the salads and sandwiches were great too. Good Reuben, roast beef with lettuce tomatoes and mayo a fave too.

Sarasota's well known mom and pop sandwich joint. The Anger's Garden Deli. It may have had a couple of "new ownerships" but the menu remains the same. It is a small place with only five or six tables inside, along with two outdoor tables to grab your grub and enjoy the freshness of the sandwich and the sun. This place always has fresh cold cut meats and salads. I ordered the Chef Salad with Italian dressing. I found it to be plenty enough for a lunch special with a drink. You can see the thin sliced tomatoes and eggs. Croutons were crispy and tasty. The lettuce itself was fresh and crunchy. I enjoyed it. On a previous time I ordered a doubled fist-ed Italian Sub, comes with a few Italian cuts (domestic), and fresh shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it. Saved the rest for the next day. This place is not a romantic nor a place to gather. But it shows the short order quality of goodness. Just remember Folks, it's a mom and pop place, not the Ritz.

I saw Judy G comments and was intrigued, so I jumped over there and was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to go back, by the way we had a Cuban and a pastrami, both were excellent!!!

Great sandwich. Quick service. It's nice to find a place that puts a little substance in their sandwiches. Had an I Italian. Should have split it into two meals but ate it all in one sitting. Will definitely be back.

Very small but popular sandwich shop. Good selection of sandwiches and salads of large proportions and reasnable prices. Have run into the Sheriff and other local notables there, as well as a steady stream of working-class regular customers. Tasty cookies as a treat.
