We had our Destination wedding here September 2012. Everything was perfect. Michelle did a wonderful job coordinating and setting everything up. And the sweet lady who cooked our meals was sooo nice! Beautiful and peaceful We even rented one of their beach houses a mile or so down the road for family. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast, so it was a little weird getting used to the fact that we had a room (A very nice room with a great view on the balcony) but we were concerned about noise... Lol! We definitely want to go back for a visit!
This place hit the spot - casual atmosphere but great food without the $$$$!! So many favorites from the night ranging from from the duck crepes to the fried artichokes as the starters. We ended up going with the lamb and the seafood medley - both were superb with the lamb perfectly cooked to order. If you have a chance, go on Wednesday- happy hour goes until 7 and the small plates are half price along with the usual drink specials!
Came for an anniversary meal and it was perfectly casual yet delightfully tasty! Will definitely be back because the service was excellent and the food was the best we had on our trip! Definitely a new favorite. They are doing it right!

We've been coming to Santa Rosa for several years but this is the first time we tried Christiano's, which just became my new favorite restaurant in the area. Great food and great service! Highly recommend it!
We were a party of eight and each of us ordered something different--from appetizers to pizza to pasta to red snapper. The portions were quite generous and everyone loved their food. Our waitress was very friendly and both owners visited our table and made us feel welcomed. Half of us saved enough room for desserts and they were delicious as well. If you like key lime pie, be sure to save room for a piece!
Thank you Yelp! We loved the service, the food and the atmosphere Destin needs more resturants like this one. Our friends from Pittsburg were with us and enjoyed the fact that the chef is a huge Steelers Fan! The food was wonderful and the deserts we loved! We will definitely be back!

This place is wonderful! I had the most delicious black bean soup! It was the best black bean soup I've ever had and I have had a lot of black bean soup! The service was amazing! So friendly!
By far the best coffee on the beach. Love this spot and seating out side. Wonderful flavorful fresh ingredients for great healthy breakfasts, they tailor to you needs. The couple who own it are very friendly and make some delicious deserts.
Great place to start your day. Pleasant staff. Very helpful. Our food was fresh and delicious. My husband and I had the ham and cheese croissant. Sandwiches were flaky and fresh. Our son had French toAst. Cooked to order and was so delicious. Would definitely come back!

Found this little gem on yelp and we all loved it - even our picky eater! Food was yum and staff was nice. Portions were perfect and we all left stuffed. Only reason for 4 stars is because it was not real warm or cozy inside, kind of stark. Love all of the rooster paintings. We will be back.
Great place. Excellent service. I recommend the pork chops, ribeye steak and chocolate cake
The jambalaya was the best I have ever eaten! My husband had the club sandwich . It too was awesome! Love the bread!

Brought my husband here for his birthday and we had an amazing experience and meal!! Staff was super friendly and extremely accommodating. Brie appetizer is wonderful!! Habanero honey mustard dressing was amazing, I wanted to dip everything in it!! I had lobster ravioli and my husband had the lamb, we would have licked our plates if we weren't in public!! :) Dessert was rich and satisfying!! We have found our new favorite place to dine while we are here!! They said they are opening another restaurant so we will definitely be trying it when we come back! Thanks for making my husbands birthday so special and delicious!!
AWESOME!! Hands down, this is the best restaurant we've tried in Destin! The experience is similar to dining at one of the smaller, top notch, local restaurants in NOLA - like Brigsten's, Patois, Clancy's, Boucherie, Bistro Daisy or Dante's Kitchen. The restaurant is in a converted bungalow and the entire dining experience is first class all the way. Service, food, atmosphere, ambiance. I would have given them 5 stars except we happened to have our meal on a very chilly evening (40 degrees) and we were seated in their converted porch area and it was quite cold out there (note: it did improve after we asked our server to kick up the heat). The restaurant is quite small - 9 tables - so GET RESERVATIONS! And finally, they only serve wine and beer - no liquor license. Cheers!
Always rate high as is our favorite spot year after year!!

Cute little bakery owned by a retired couple. All homemade baked goodies, ready to go and preordered. We pre-ordered a two layer vanilla cake ($55) for my grandmother's birthday. They were able to fulfill our order even though we only called in the morning and asked for it to be done by the evening. We were very grateful they were able to make our cake in time. The cake was a little too thick for our taste, but overall good. We also grabbed a carrot or chocolate cake slice already baked (I believe $8-9,) which were fairly big, we sliced one slice into 3 portions. The carrot cake was our favorite!
Spinach cheese tomato pie was delicious. Kids didn't care for cookies cause I think they don't use a lot of sugar but I liked them. Cinnamon roll was ok. Really mushy and frosting had a hint of orange or something. A lot of cinnamon so you have to be a fan. Go early. Not a lot of choices so I can see how they sell out.
Best bakery on earth!! Great selection of gluten free baked goods and the veggie burritos are excellent. Love it!

If your looking for great food that is inexpensive- this is the place! One of the best Bbq me and my fiance have ever had! You can't go wrong with anything, but I do think their pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket and 1/2 chicken are the best! Sides are large and cheap to add. Apps are also large (corn nuggets are amazing). Side salads are great size and come with more than enough dressing which they provide on the side. Service is also very good. Same lady we see every time we are there... Very helpful, but doesn't hover. Must try for sure!
Hubby and I vacationed in Destin last week. We frequent the area most summers, but we had never seen 98 before. We got in after driving 17 hours and just wanted food! Being a two minute drive from our rental, we stopped in. There was only one other couple there, on a Saturday night which originally had me worried. But we were served immediately. We both had the brisket sandwich, mine with corn nuggets and hubby had the fries. It didn't look like much but dang, was it tasty. The brisket was moist and their spicy sauce complimented well. But the corn nuggets....oh the corn nuggets. So good! Sweet and fried, what's not to like? Even on vacation, we still keep a budget and this meal was definitely wallet friendly. Everything and drinks for $25. We will definitely be back next year!
We catered 98 BBQ to do a party we hosted while on vacation in Seaside. Jon and team were great to work with, even lowering my first request based on the numbers of people I gave him. We had some of almost every meat, and most of the sides and deserts. All were delicious, my favorites being the pulled pork and the beef brisket. Our party all commented on how good everything was, plus we had left overs for half of our vacation. Delivery was on time and well taken care of. Much appreciated and I would recommend them again.

Reviews:
This little Airstream hidden at the back of a stretch of food trucks, was probably the best out of all of them. They offer some very good Asian Fusion dishes, that'll knock your socks off. I opted for the Bonh Mini Pork Sliders with Papaya Salad, and it was incredible! My wife opted for a HotDog stand down the road, and she regretted it, not that that they were bad HotDogs, but because mine was so good! So, I shared some with her. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch.
First, to the other reviewer who said now that she tried Song she feels she missed out never before having tried Asian street food - guess what? You STILL haven't tried Asian street food. So, for my review: Pro's: fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, pretty healthy fare, and unique - a nice variation from what's offered at the other food trucks. Cons: not authentic and some items, like the spring rolls and sauces, just not that tasty, even though ingredients seem nice & fresh. Spring rolls overstuffed & not wrapped correctly, but then wrapped tightly in plastic wrap if you get them to go, which almost guarantees they'll be torn apart getting to them, at which point you're then eating cole slaw with rice noodles. Also, like the other Seaside food trucks, a bit pricey. Pro: My companions did seem to enjoy the Korean taco and the pork sliders.
This is an awesome food truck in the heart of seaside. Everything I tried was great and I wish I could have sampled more because I doubt I would ever be disappointed. The pork tacos were full of flavor and the fresh cabbage really brought a great texture to the dish. I love the idea of an Asian food truck and always try to sample one if I have the opportunity. Even though this may not be the most authentic asain food it is still very good. The prices were a bit high which is the reason for the four stars. Everything is pricey in the area but 4.50 for a taco and 9 bucks for a mango salad is a bit much. The food itself is not expensive to make so I'm sure they are making a killing. Although truck rental space in the area, I'm sure isn't cheap.... Regardless it's a beautiful food truck scene and song is a nice addition

Borago Restaurant

80 E County Hwy 30A
Santa Rosa Beach, 32459
Reviews:
This was our final meal of a vacation full of wonderful meals and Borago kept the string going. We got the Calamari appetizer and it was cooked perfectly vs. the overcooked rubber you often get at other places. Also, there was a yummy lemon aioli drizzled on it and good marinara on the side. This creamy/acidic combo was a winner! My wife had spaghetti and marinara and I had Veal Francese. We were both happy with my only minor complaint being that there could have been perhaps one more medallion of veal on the plate. This was our first visit and Borago will be on the list for future Seaside trips.
Was a perfect meal. 4 of us in our party. 4 different meals and all good to the max. I had the sausage penne. It was spicy goodness. Prices were fair but typical for Italian. Would/will go back.
The food here was better than most places on 30a, but the service was terrible. The experience was nowhere close to being worth the $40 per person cost for 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 baby. We arrived at 7:30pm and were seated immediately. The server took our drink order and returned quickly with our beverages. He took our meal order and made some good recommendations. That's where the good experience ended. 20 minutes later, I had finished my beer, but we hadn't seen our server once in that time. After waiting 10 more minutes, I stopped the server working the neighboring section and asked her to place my drink order. Our server delivered my beer, making no mention of being MIA for half an hour. He also made no mention of our exceptionally-delayed appetizers. After another 15 minutes, he brought my wife & kids apps, but not mine. 5 minutes later our main courses showed up, followed promptly by my appetizer. The server offered no explanation for the poor timing of courses. By the time we finished our apps, our main courses were cold. We sat there for 10 more minutes with appetizer plates and empty glasses scattered across the table with our stale main courses wedged on the corner. We couldn't move on to our main courses, even if we had wanted to, because this place apparently doesn't believe in bussing tables. This server finally meandered back to his section. We asked to have our food boxed up and wanted the check. The server had the nerve to try to sell us dessert (we said no). When the check came, there was no attempt to apologize for the horrid service experience. After over 90 minutes, we were finally getting out of this terrible place where food service is a forgotten art. To sum it up, food was good but service really blew it. I would only recommend this place for takeout, but you should just drive a few more miles and go to Cafe 30a.
