I don't particularly care to write bad reviews but this place is just not that good anymore. I moved to Sanford in early 2014 & I really liked this place but it is sadly not that good anymore. The prices are too high and the quality has consistently gone downhill. The last few times I ordered carryout, the place was empty. My biggest complaints is that they charge extra for a little extra sauce and the quality is poor....not fresh tasting like other NY style pizza places in the area. In addition, lately it seems like the place is operated by teenagers as the last few times I ordered and picked up, there was no adult in sight. Judge for yourself / buyer beware.

I finally decided to try this establishment after being recommend by a few friends. The food was good and the ingredients seemed pretty fresh. The service was a little slow, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing to rave over, but we did seem to go on a very busy night so I'll definitely try Sanford's Little Italy again when it's less crowded.

I really want to give this place a good review but every time I go there I have a different experience. My first two times where great. They let me add two flavors to the chicken wings and the pizza was decent (not a big fan of New York style). The next several times I went they forgot to add the sauce to the hot wings and they ran out of their delicious cheese cake with chocolate and caramel toppings twice. What I did notice is that when the young manager is there the food is great but when he's not, the food is sloppy and forgetful.

Have ordered pizza from here about 4 times. First time was great , 2nd time was ok. 3rd time was ok and this time it just wasn't good at all. Soggy , greasy, meat was very salty and not at all like past orders. Unfortunately we won't be back, we like to support small buisnesses but the food has declined with each order. We get take out and have noticed the resturant dosent seem very clean.

I've been coming here since it was Vivona's quite a long time ago. This is no Vivona's! I don't tend to expect life altering meals from a regular old "red sauce" place but I do expect to be satisfied at a certain level. This latest incarnation has seemingly changed hands a number of times over the last few years and none of the changes appear to be improving what is a substandard neighborhood place. I've spent the last couple of months working on a vacant property and they were close by so I worked through some of the items. The pizza is forgettable and the toppings are sparse. The wings were greasy. I know it's hard to make non-greasy wings but these weren't properly drained. The baked ziti had very little effort put in it and really a trip to Winn Dixie would of been a better option. The most disappointing was the meatball sub. I bought one in September and one in October and neither was very good. The meatballs were tough and bland and the bread was both over toasted and soggy. I could almost walk to this place but I find myself going to Riverwalk or skipping Italian carryout altogether. It's not a fortune but I don't like bad values and weak food is a bad value at any price.

Great pizza! We always opt for this place as it's truly the best in my area. I gave it a 4 because delivery is never as good as pick-up. We gave it two tries and yup, delivery comes cold.

Great place to stop on the way home for a quick family carry out dinner. They have a family special, large pizza, 10 wings and garlic knots or salad (I usually get the salad with the house dressing) for $22.25. My kids love the thin crust pizza and I usually order my wings crispy. I have had the pasta before and the portion was big.

Went there after reading reviews, had mixed emotions about trying but did not want to drive to Papa Joe's in Lake Mary. Should have driven to Lake Mary. Pizza was SATURATED in oil to the point of being inedible. It is not New York pizza, in fact it's not even on the level of Pizza Hut...Complete waste of time and money

Great Place. Pizza is well done. Friend spoke highly of the calzone. These folks know what they're doing. Considering how limited the options are out this way (north of Sanford / Orlando Airport) it's great to have a place that will actually deliver!

I had a parmesan sub and it didn't taste too bad but the appearance could've been better. Price wasn't too bad.

This place is awesome. Had the wings, they were good. The deluxe pie was great. The staff is really friendly. The owner came out to meet us. Family feel. Free delivery up to 5 miles. Good stuff, if you don't try this place you are missing out. Take it from a foodie it is work it.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
