I'm not a big fan of fried chicken but my husband is so he convinced me to try Lee's. I ordered the 3 jumbo chicken strips meal with corn and macaroni and cheese. It was delicious! The chicken strips were huge. I only managed to eat one with my sides and took the other two home with my biscuit. I could tell that this was the real deal. Actual chicken breast. By far, the best chicken strips I've ever tasted.

I usually don't write reviews for chains or fast food joints but this place has me in their grasp! I LOVE LEES FRIED CHICKEN. Hands down the best fried chicken I have ever had (and I have had quite a few). They also have amazing sides. Best soul food/fast food restaurant I've been to in Orlando. If you dine in you get served on styrofoam plates which made me feel like I was eating at a home bbq party, loved it. I would definitely recommend the mac and cheese!

Awesome tasting chicken. Compared to KFC, Popeyes, and Bojangles, this place beats them all. They have the Wednesday special which consists of 3 piece chicken, 2 sides, and a biscuit for around 6 bucks. I always get the spicy version (they have baked and regular as well). I've also gotten the gizzards and livers platter in the past which is also great. Can get busy at times during lunch hour so plan accordingly.

Holy Molly "Old Fashioned Southern Style Fried Chicken" at its finest! I don't know if I hit this place on a great night or what, but I got the 16 piece family meal with 4 sides, 8 biscuits and a gallon of sweet tea. Not only does the chicken blow their competition out of the water, but the sides were AMAZEBALLS! I was so excited when they handed me the gallon of sweet tea through the drive-thru window because it was literally still hot from being fresh brewed! SCHWEET! I'm ashamed to say this is my first time trying their chicken, even though I live right down the road. I can tell you one thing--- it definitely won't be the last time. They are now my families all time favorite place to get fried chicken. We will certainly be back. I hope they keep giving everyone the same great service and food that we experienced tonight. More people need to be giving this long-time local biz positive reviews. Delicious! I feel like all I'm missing is the picnic table and checkered tablecloth. Yum!

This is the worst fried chicken I have eaten in Orlando. It had absolutely no flavor. Yes, the chicken is juicy (not overcooked) and the excessive breading is crispy. But obviously no one ever mentioned herbs and spices to these people. Bland, bland, bland. I was looking for a good local alternative to KFC and Popeyes, but the chicken here doesn't cut it. And it certainly doesn't compete with Old Dixie Chicken in Orlando.

Typical rustic southern fried chicken joint. Chicken is really good, close to how KFC actually used to taste; which stands to reason, since the same family that built up KFC, moved on with this brand after selling the KFC name and recipe. Would rather eat here than KFC.

These places are always run down and dated, but they have a constant flow of traffic, which shows that their quality and their customer's loyalty. While I will go to various Lee's simply because it reminds me of my childhood, and I actually like the chicken, I really think this one does a good job on overall quality.

This place has pretty good fried chicken. Lots of breading, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The sides are so-so. Just don't eat this very often because you will perish.

Eat the gizzards, best you will find! Usually use the drive thru. Staff is great and helpful. Sometimes they are out of the roasted chicken, I dont know whether they just sell alot or dont make enough. Usually there is a wait for it. Did I say how good the gizzards are...

Odd enough... They are a worthy competitor to Popeyes! The chicken here is excellent! It is what KFC would like to be. For a podunk little chain in the heart of Sanford, this place rocks. When you have family or friends in from Europe, this is the place to take them for a proper American fried chicken experience. I would have hoped for a closer location, but dammit all, I don't want this place to change. Keep doing what you're doing Lee!

I love the sweet tea, I buy a gallon for my house all the time :-) their steamed cabbage is some of the best with great seasoning. The roasted chicken is my favorite with such good seasoning and flavor! Especially good for the waist line haha its roasted instead of fried.
