I should have known not to come here when sonny's is right down the road. It's a new place and looked ok so I decided to try it, big mistake! The bbq is extremely dry and I had to drown it in sauce. The meats that came with the sampler combo were very fatty and tasted like they were cooked in an oven not a smoker. Also very overpriced for bbq. We sat outside on the porch and it was nice because it had mysters to cool you down I guess that's why I gave two stars instead of one.

BBQ standards brought to a new low. "Slow" fairly represents their service and "low" is quite indicative of the quality. People in this area are so desperate for decent bbq, they'll try anything. But, seriously, keep looking. Such a disappointment. The favorable reviews must be friends of the owners. I tried the cocoa beach and viera restaurants and they were both incredibly disappointing. Take a whiff outside. Where's there no smoke, there's no BBQ! If you like warmed up mediocre bbq served slowly, this place is for you. If you are picky about quality bbq, suggest you look elsewhere.

Outstanding food, and very energetic staff. They're still going through some growing pains (both times I've visited, the servers had trouble because the tablet-based ordering system had crashed), but the food is worth the trouble. Much like the original location, the new site can be counted on for tender ribs (the St. Louis ribs fall off the bone like you only expect with baby backs) and exceptional pulled pork. The fish-dip appetizer is tasty, though the smoke drives out most other flavored.

The food was really good but the portions for lunch were small especially for the price. The baked beans were the best I've had... Our server was very nice. I'll definitely be back!

Worst service I have ever gotten. Plenty of people just everyone running around in circles. There for 15 minutes and had about 8 girls pass by our table but no one said anything. We finally got up and walked out. Still no one said anything. I wrote the company and their response was the same as the service... NONE. About 3 weeks later decided I would not ever eat in but thought maybe I would try the take out. I called up and over an hour wait for take out... I will never bother with this restaurant again....

Went to lunch with my girlfriend we were dying to try the new slow an low. We love bbq. But the service was way off! She kept forgetting everything we asked her she seemed lost and didn't seem to know what she was doing. The fresh squeezed lemonade was amazing and the food wasn't to bad. The bbq sauce wasn't very good but the whole experience I'd say was average.

This place sucks! Food was cold and extremely bland - no flavor! Service was ok. Great to have a beer I guess. Don't recommend it.

Food was OK. Service - Cynthia interrupted us several times while placing our order. Place was dead and it still took forever for our check! All in all - Not impressed. We won't be back.

I love Slow and Low BBQ. Been going to the Cocoa Beach location for years now. Now that they have a location closer I was thrilled to give it a try. The pulled pork and sliced beef was moist and had a nice smokey taste. I really enjoyed the mac n cheese but the potato salad had way to much onion and made it somewhat unenjoyable. I was hoping the food would be as good as the original location, but no dice. Also the service here was a little off too and our server seemed very confused. When we arrived it seemed nobody knew who should seat us. Our server delivered plain tea instead of sweet. Forgot the garlic toast until the end of the meal. No butter for the sweet potato was ever delivered even after asking twice. I know that newly opened locations have obstacles. At least the food was good. I'll give it a try again after a few months. Hopefully much would have improved by then.

I have probably been here over 20 times since my last review. My family and I are regulars. We're there at LEAST once/twice a week. We LOVE the staff...they are like family especially Cynthia, Heath, and Wendy...We enjoy the atmosphere, and we love those CHICKEN WINGS!!! Actually we enjoy all of their food but I dream of the chicken wings. I said it in my last review but I have no problem repeating myself... THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN BREVARD COUNTY... They might even be the best chicken wings I've ever had. They always have great craft beer on draft and their cocktails are unique(I forget the bartender's name but he makes delicious drinks and has a great personality as well) Unfortunaly I can't give any more than 5 stars because yelp doesn't give you an option higher than 5...but if I could... I would undoubtedly give Slow n Low a 10. I not only look forward to the food but I look forward to seeing the staff as well.

3 stars but there's a silver lining. I'm not a picky or pretentious diner. But having recently moved here from Alabama and with family in Texas, I do enjoy good BBQ. You won't find it here. The wings are lame. Despite its good color with charred edges and pink interior, The pulled pork is dry and flavorless and needs to be bathed in sauce to become edible. The sides are numerous but unremarkable. Bread is dry and not buttery enough garlic toast. Despite all of that, I will return. The one reason: damn good ribs. Seriously good ribs. Like second only to ones I've had in Austin good. Both the baby back and spare ribs I've tried and both are stellar. Prices are comparable to most other BBQ houses both locally and nationally. The restaurant itself is very nice with a great patio and very clean. Service is unremarkable and slow but adequate. In summary, go at least once and support a local business. Get the ribs. Get a beer and enjoy the patio. Just don't expect much from the rest!

Great new restaurant in Viera. The BBQ is delicious but this place has a sizable menu. Pulled pork and the beef brisket are great, but the burgers are also tasty. Surprising to me was the housemade brats which rival some Chicago brats (no kidding). Also worth noting that the cobbler is awesome, if you still have room. Draft beer selection is better than average and there is a full bar. This is probably a great place to tailgate prior to baseball game. Lastly, this place is locally owned and operated.

I had the combo meal: BBQ a rib, pulled pork, smoked turkey, beef and a 1/4 chicken with two sides and corn bread for $16. Delish!! Plenty of food to fill up on. Kids meal was $4.25 and has plenty for my 10 year old. My mom had the brisket platter for $11 and was very pleased. Server (Allie) was friendly and helpful with menu choices. Attentive but not overbearing. Live music started around 3 and was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

We have eaten at the one beachside many times. Looked forward to enjoying the same food much closer to home. Had our usual bbq nachos. But where is the meat? And what was that sweet stuff on what little meat there was? Guess it is back to driving to the beach!

We were dismally disappointed by the food and the service here. The pulled pork had absolutely no flavor. One had no choice but to use sauce for it. The corn muffins were dry and the Turnip greens were bland. At least the baked beams and fried Pickles were good. The service wasn't much better. One of my pet peeves is to be served my salad at the same time as my dinner entrée. When I asked if the salad was coming first, the waitress replied that she forgot and that the food would be right out. So much for a hot meal. We left feeling frustrated and stuffed with a mediocre dinner. We have no intentions of going back.

The food! Omg! I had The Hog and baked beans. Delicious! My girl LET me try two of her ribs and they were fall of the bone and flavorful. I honestly never ate so fast in my life. It may be a stretch but I'm going to say it...I've had my share of barbecue and this was probably the best barbecue I ever had. Not giving it the last star was because it had a wet mop smell and the temperature inside was warm. So the smell and low a/c did not make sense to me. But the food quickly made me forget.

We have been going to the cocoa beach one for many years and was thrilled when we saw this was just down the road. My mother and I went for lunch during the week at about 1:30ish and we were seated right away. Our waitress took our orders but I can definitely say it is not as good as beachside. Service was off and along with the food. I think they might still be trying to find their groove. I will try back in a few months.

To be honest, the food is fairly okay, but the service is poor. Husband and I ate here on a Sunday, arriving at around 6:10 pm. We were told there would be a wait, but it turned out to be sat almost immediately. Strangely, there were many seats around the restaurant open; perhaps they are understaffed. Within minutes of sitting, our waitress split two large drinks on my husband. The server gave us towels to wipe off, but it took us almost fifteen minutes after getting the area cleaned up for the waitress to return to take our drink orders. We told her we wanted to catch a movie at 7:25 after dinner. She got my husband's drink wrong (he ordered a specialty cocktail, the green apple sidecar, but the waitress gave him a shot of the green apple Crown instead). I can't really complain because she comped our drinks, but his drink was not what he ordered despite pointing at it on the drink menu. So, service aside, the food is just okay. The sweet potato chips are good. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich which he reported wasn't warm. I ordered the pork sandwich which was good. It was traditional St. Louis style BBQ. We received our food around 6:50 and asked for her to deliver the check so that we could pay and leave so we could make our movie. We wolfed down our food but had to ask two more times for our check. Now the thing that kinda ticked me off the most was the fact that in the almost hour we were in there, no manager stopped by to see how we were doing. My husband was lucky enough to only get the water and tea split on him on his pants and sweater and that he could take off his sweater so that he could just wear his undershirt. Within the time we were dining at this location, another guest was soaked by a server's tray. I did not see a manager go visit their table either, and let me tell you, that guy was pissed. He did an angry walk outside of the patio bar while his family waited at the table. Are the managers absent, or do they not care about their guests? I don't know if I'll be back for a while. Obviously, the service and managerial staff needs some help if they are having issues on a Sunday night. I'm not very impressed, which is sad because I was hopping for a good BBQ place close by other than Sonny's. I'll give it another six months before I return so they can get their act together. I know they're a new location of a local business, but I really just want a nice experience when I go out for a meal. But we did make it to the movie on time, so two stars!

Had the 20 mild buffalo wings, curly fries, and corn fritters with a sprinkle of white powdered sugar. The wings were smoked then fried. However, the wings were fried too hard and didn't have enough of the buffalo sauce. Everything else including the service was great. But I've been to the Cocoa Beach location and I'm familiar with how the wings usually are.

I cannot get enough of this beautiful store, everything is clean and neat and the servers and bussers don't let anything stay dirty for long! The service is fast and friendly, with a new store there are always kinks but they have definitely sorted it all out. The fries pickles were to die for with the dill horseradish sauce, the lunch special pork and beef plate filled up my plate and it was nice and hot. The food was overall very good, the sweet potato chips were okay, wish they have sweet potato fries! Our server was very busy with tables around us but she still made sure we were attended to and was able to answer any questions we had. I know they have a Cocoa Beach store and I would love to stop there after a day on the beach.

Freshest BBQ in town! Pretty much everything is made on the premises, and you can tell. The food is high-quality and not loaded with salt and fat like other BBQ restaurants. Service is always friendly. Cynthia provided outstanding service- friendly, efficient, & knowledgeable. Our favorite menu items: grilled shrimp, baked beans, pulled pork, brisket, and fried pickles. They're food is hickory-smoked, which adds delicious flavor! They also have a good selection of craft beers! Plus early bird menu before 6pm and happy hour 2-4-1 drinks! We'll be returning often and requesting Cynthia!
