Great outdoor area, great service, and pretty good food. I ordered the fish of the day, grouper and asked for it blackened. It has pretty good flavor but it was not a very thick cut of meat. I had a side of sweet potato fries which were pretty yummy. Would I come back again? Yes. Would I order that again? No. Again, the location was fun, the service was great, but I would advise ordering something else.

Overall, service was friendly, seating was quick for a Monday lunch and the ambiance was great. I had the Caribbean Salad, which comes topped with very tasty grilled sliced chicken breast. The salad underneath, however, and dressing was slightly bland and forgettable. The drink was the biggest disappointment. We both ordered the Top Don Margarita at $11 apiece. It was advertised to arrive in a traditional glass, but showed up in a water glass. While the drink didn't suffer from the choice in tequila (1942 Reserve Don Juilo Blanco) it did from lack of balance between the booze and the sweet and sour. It came off almost watered down with a twist of lime. Did I say these drinks were $11 apiece?

The food has gotten better but the biggest change is the service Erica our waitress was wonderful. The host was very attentive and friendly. As always the food is great.

Been here twice for drinks and appetizers and enjoyed it, Good Happy Hour prices. Very picturesque and comfortable.

I stumbled upon rover rocks late at night & because it had so many cars in the parking lot, decided to give it a try. Although packed, we were seated almost immediately. Our server, Ramses, was honest, incredible and hard working. We ordered the crab stack (fresh!), lobster bisque (very creamy), mahi mahi (not very flavorful/dry), and key lime pie (a little dense, but good flavor), The food service was timed perfectly, and we didn't have to wait too long for anything. The decoration of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful- and we are from Miami! If I were to visit again, I would dine at the dockside for a more casual atmosphere. The restaurant is divided into 2 different restaurants, each with separate menus. Choose wisely! If it weren't for the service, it would get a 3, but Ramses earns a star of his own :)

Absolutely horrible service! The food came out cold and not cooked to the right temperature. Would not recommend the quality has consistently gone downhill over the last two years. The musicians were also lousy and you couldn't even make out the words

They have probably the best covered deck view on the Indian River. I stopped in for a beer during happy hour, and a traffic acoustic guitar by the name of Billy Chapman was playing an easy sounding set of tunes. They had a Baker's Dozen of shrimp for $5 so I ordered two. Delicious and plenty! The bartenders were funny and personable.

Went there for lunch. Great location, looking out at the water. It was not super busy, but I went at 1130am. We were greeted quickly. Service was good. The food was excellent. Had the buffalo shrimp nachos appetizer and the fish special (Grouper) sandwich. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed dock dip, islamorada grouper and their coleslaw. Finished with the chocolate torte and it was sinfully good.

Favorite place for overlooking the water to eat or just have drinks. Your not going to pick someone up here, so bring a friend, lol

This place is just okay. The food is mediocre and not seasoned well; the drinks are weird (just order a Manhattan... it's served in a beer glass with a chunk of lemon and orange floating in the bottom); and the service is meh (I prefer a waitress with pep who shows some level of enthusiasm). River Rocks seems to pride itself on being "higher end," but, honestly, there are plenty of good restaurants around... and they serve baked potatoes!

I was in town visiting and we had dinner. The food was great and the service was just as good. Mike our waiter was really nice making us feel as if we had been visiting forever. We look forward to coming by again.

If you love to go to a restaurant with a rude and inconsiderate staff, this is your place! I almost thought that I had chosen a theme restaurant where the staff purposely acts in an inappropriate manner, like Dicks Last Resort. So, when dining at this restaurant last night, I made a very common request: to forego my 2 side dish choices in exchange for the side salad. The bartender informed me that this was a common request that he was unable to fulfill. He began to tell me tales of this salad's glory: it started with the crisp lettuce, the plump tomatoes, blah blah blah. Hey man, I don't need your side salad to cure Ebola or bring down ISIS, just throw some lettuce on a plate and keep your 2 sides. So, after I gave the bartender a lecture in food costs and comparable value, he brought over the manager. Great, math and logic may sink in for someone who has worked his way up to management in the restaurant industry. However, in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. The manager was sweaty, of poor shape, and appeared like he was rehabilitating from a serious butter addiction. To my surprise; logic and math did not work with the manager either. The moral of the story is: 1) if it's a common issue, address it with the policy maker and 2) do something, anything, knock off $.50 to at least appear to be on the side of the customer. A $3 salad is usually a matter of principal and not a matter of money. Don't eat here.

Looking forward to going here for months while I was back home up North. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the sun and food was my dream. Suffice it to say, I was more than disappointed. While it was a sunny day, only one table on the deck had sun at 2pm. Since it was in the low 70's I thought the shade would be ok bit was chilly. Wanted scallops, pricey, but had a taste for them - got them seared with rice and veggies on the side. My husband got a salad of fruit and nuts and fennel. His salad was tasty. My scallops were large but rather tasteless. The server brought mashed potatoes and when we told her I had ordered rice she brought a dish of it. Vegetables were tasteless and tasted cooked to death. What topped it off was the tabletops. They had mold all around the edges. Just disappointed in the whole meal. Probably will not be back.

The grilled fish plate was very good, but the up charges are crazy. For example, during happy hour we had dirty martinis -- there's an up charge. We wanted blue cheese stuffed olives with the martinis -- there's an up charge (25 cents each). We wanted sweet potato fries as one of the sides -- there's an up charge of $1. There were a couple of other up charges as well. It got to the point that we would ask how much more is that? The view is nice on the back deck and the service is okay. It has an inside menu -- pretty pricey considering -- and an outside menu that's okay (but keep the up charges in mind). I've been here twice -- once for lunch and once for dinner. Just OK both times. Restroom was pretty dirty.

We were here working during the Nationals spring break and would pass this place everyday. Sure, on the outside it looks pretty nice, on the water, but after we were finally lured here, we had a less than pleasant experience. Let me preface this with the fact that this poor review has nothing to do with the staff, as they were all super accommodating and super nice, but everything to do with the crowd of people that come here, oh and the food was pretty sub par, but based on the fact that it was Melbourne Florida, we learned to expect nothing as far as quality restaurant food. Also the atmosphere and cleanliness were pretty nice, nothing will blow your mind unless your from some hole in the wall in Ohio and never saw natural flowing water, but the area as a whole is not great. It's like God's waiting room to death mixed with red neck super Florida trailer park hell. Quite a dichotomy. I had the crab cakes, which were cold and just gross, and over priced for what they were. Thinking you can't go wrong with fries was my worst decision of the meal. They were cold and they were those fries that have a coating on them, but the insides were cold. I hate those. Anyway, like I said the food options in Melbourne completely suck, you have a bunch of garbage chain restaurants and a few other places and within an entire month we didn't have one good meal. Also, with all the cops in the area, you would think that they would crack down more on drunk driving. Every time I passed this place, which was several times a day, there were old buzzards pealing out swerving all over the place. Again, nothing about River Rocks, everything to do with this area, a brilliantly blinding mix of over alcohol soaked seniors and red necks.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner here tonight. House salad with grilled tuna, seafood platter with Cobia, crab cakes, key lime pie. Food was delicious and atmosphere was very beautiful. Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive. My picky boyfriend thought his fish wasn't cooked "perfectly" which is the only reason we aren't giving it a five star rating.

I regularly frequent River Rocks' Sunday brunch, that is awesome, however this review is for "the dock" portion of River Rocks since apparently they have different menus for inside vs. outside. My first ever visit to River Rocks was very odd. It was a gorgeous night and outside was the perfect place to be, so that was perfect, but the first faux-pas came when we ordered drinks. My fiance asked for a Mojito, and was strongly discouraged by the wait staff not to order the Mojito citing that "they aren't very good." That was weird. I ordered a burger (pretty hard to mess up) and my fiance ordered a Chicken entree that sounded delicious. My burger was pretty mediocre and her parmesan crusted chicken had absolutely no flavor. It was just like rubber. So bizarre. Another odd point was after our entrees we asked what they were serving for dessert; the waiter said that their dessert menu is "pretty limited" and "they're really trying to offer more" and never actually told us what was available. Lastly, they seem to, for some reason, add 3.5% on to every check as a "Service Fee" and cite on the menu to "Adjust tip accordingly." What does this mean? Am I short-changing my waiter because the owner wants to pocket a little more? Does it all go to the wait staff? A little bit of transparency on that front would go a long way, otherwise it just seems like a shady practice.

River Rocks has never managed to really knock my socks off, nor has it ever disappointed me, so I never quite got to writing a review of this place until now. It happened to pull up on my screen, and here I am. Here is the thing... Brevard County, Florida isn't full of countless options. If it were, I don't think this place would be on my go to list, but here we are, and I suppose it is. Not very inspiring, I know.... but this is the reality of this area. The front is understated. You wouldn't expect much. It is nice, but the kind of place that is really easy to pass without noticing. Once you get in, there a large, and rather nice patio area, with an indoor area for the rare cold weather. Again, it is very nice... and every time I am here, I wonder why I don't come more often. But I don't. The food is good, but I cannot think of a single menu item that has made me crave the place. The service is good, yet nothing that wows me. Finally, the ambiance is nice and very chill. A cool place to drop some stress. So in a nutshell, I would otherwise give the place a solid 3 stars in the purest "It's OK" that 3 stars represent, but I add a star because.. well.. hey, this is Brevard county, right?

Don't rely on Apple Map to bring you to this place...it is about a mile or so further South than where navigation brings you. Once you get there however, the food service and ambiance is great!!! Would go back.

  • Jessica B.

The food was just average and not seasoned well. Service was shitty. The waiter didn't even know anything about the menu. And to top it off, we seen a rat scatter across the inside while we were finishing up our meal. It isn't for children either. We will not go there again.

Enjoyed a nice lunch on the deck here a couple of weeks ago before it got colder. Great soup and pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendy. Looks like the inside dining is something I will try in the future.

It was a solid meal. Started with the coconut shrimp, 5 large butterflied shrimp lightly deep fried and perfectly coconutty with a sweet and sour sauce. Tried the fish of the day, went with seabass, grilled, DH had it blackened and both were tasty. A little greasier on the grilled but still good. Side of mixed veggies (no on the menu, but if you ask they'll oblige) which were decent and sweet potato fries which were well done. For dessert i highly recommend the marscapone cheesecake, served in a ball form, no crust and a large side of real whipped cream - decadent and delicious. Would definitely go back.

This restaurant is very nice but the service needs improvement and it takes forever to get your food. The food itself is just ok. The cocktails from the bar too were ok but they cant make a bloody mary to save their life. My folks like this place so I have to dine here every once in a while. That's unfortunate because there are better places to eat.

This place is WOW... just WOW. I didn't know about this restaurant, and didn't really look it up much on yelp, other than to see it had a relatively high rating. My mom was treating my grandma and I here. I ordered the Maytag Cheese appetizer with a glass of Erath Pinot Noir, and it was pretty amazing. Our server, Jason, had the knowledge of a sommeliar (he said his brother actually is one); I was also able to get a good Chardonnay with my Grouper, which was delish (and my first time eating grouper). The restaurant manager came to our table (and everyone else's) to ensure the food met our satisfaction; this is one thing that wins me over at restaurants, even if there was the slightest mistake. I couldn't find any mistakes at this establishment. I look forward to definitely coming here in the future. They also have free WiFi here.

Setting was great. Live music was good the drinks were on point the food was okay. We have been several times and always has been good. It looks like it's sliding a little the sweet potato fries were cold and the portobello mushroom sandwich came on a cheap bun rather than the great bread in the past. The other entrants were up to par Shrimp and chicken. It your going. Ask if it's the same.

Very nice place, with great views!!! The sun was setting on the other side of the building, but the light reflecting off of the water and few clouds in the sky still looked very nice. the food was filling and great. Totally forgot what I had, think it was either steak or salmon. But I remember having fun, and leaving full. they had music, a few people dancing, people getting up and walking along the dock as they waited for their food. it was very nice and peaceful!

Fresh seafood, fast service, and one of the best dockside views in the area? Yes please! My kumite partner and I ordered a whole bunch of seafood, and everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Best. Blackened. Grouper. Ever. Our server was very attentive, even though we were there near the end of the night. Despite us ordering a pretty awesome feast, it wasn't even all that expensive. I'll be sure to stop by again, whenever I'm in the area.

I was very disappointed in the Easter Brunch at River Rocks today ! Usually a favorite restaurant -their Brunch was over priced and under whelming. The lamb was way over cooked and was not served at a carving station as one might expect but rather floating in a chasing dish with some liquid trying to hide the dry and overdone slices. On the positive side-There was an abundance of peel and eat shrimp, several salads, and the usual omelet station as well as some nice hot dishes as one would expect at a brunch. But there was only one green vegetable - green beans- and the dessert table was just pitiful! Chocolate cake and store bought cookies- that was the majority of the dessert options- no cheese cake or pies or tarts or anything creative except the brownies. I will admit those were the best brownies I've had in a long time, mixed with candied walnuts they were delicious and creative. Also the fresh strawberries and fresh creme were a nice touch. But for the price - which was originally advertised at $ 22.50 but went to $28.95 a few weeks ago - this Brunch was overpriced and definitely a disappointment. For just a dollar more last year we went to the Disney Resort in Vero for their brunch. It was spectacular! Not only shrimp but so yummy blue crab claws on the seafood bar elsewhere 2 or 3 other types of cooked fish, including crab cakes. A wonderful pasta station, an omelet station, and a carving station with lamp and ham and beef. So many different types of salads, egg dishes, and breakfast items and sides you couldn't try them all! And the desserts were decedent and creative. Pies, tarts, many yummy full size cakes of various flavors. And mini Cheese cakes, For the price of 29.00 it was well worth the cost and the travel.this is how you do a holiday Brunch! I will not pay that price and eat at another RiverRocks brunch again. Disappointing!

I really wanted to like this restaurant. At River Rocks, you have the option to either eat outside under one menu, or eat indoors with another menu. Outside, the air was stale and warm, the fans simply just weren't getting the job done. The view was spectacular, looking out over the water, and our waitress was very polite and attentive. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. We started off an appetizer dip that combined crab, lobster, and scallions with toasted flat bread. The dip was very bland and flavorless, and the toasted flat bread may as well have been cardboard, because it felt like that is what you were biting in to. My fish entree tasted fresh, and was cooked properly, and its only saving grace was the side of lobster butter that melted over top of it. The grilled mahi had decent flavor, but the accompanying greens were under cooked, and the rice too, was bland. I opted to add a skewer of fire grilled shrimp, and I'd be surprised if they had even touched a grill, they had the taste, but definitely not the look. Over all pretty disappointing.

    (2)
  • David W.

You are paying for the location, plain and simple. They add a 3% "service charge" to your bill and tell you to adjust your tip accordingly should you feel the need to do so. The food is presented well, but has never been impressive. Best thing was peel and eat shrimp. Be warned this is actually two restaurants, DO NOT sit inside and expect to order from the more casual menu or vice versa, they will not accommodate this seemingly simple request.

  • Jack L.

This is the stupidest place I have ever to. Two menus, two kitchens. The Dock at river Rocks is primarily out door Dining with a very good menu. Inside is River Rockstar. If you want the lobster bisque you must go inside, can't get it outside. If you want the unconstructed cheese you must go outside. One would expect people dressed nicer inside with the pricy menu butShort shorts and dirty flip flops seem to be okay. Wife ordered Shrimp Portofino with parpadello. She got linguine instead. When mentioned to waiter he didn't apologize or get answer for us. No apology from the kitchen or manger. We should have sent it back. We were never offered water, bread or dinner salad. Waiter seemed to be the bartender doing double duty. So we went inside to get the bisque, had a mediocre meal and went outside for desert and coffee creating another check. I didn't even get to my meal which was the worst rack of lamb I EVER had. Stay outside, spend less money and get better good and service

I am a local resident and always wanted to try river rocks. I took some friends that came to visit from out of town and was very disappointed. We sat outside which was nice but the menu was completely different than inside. They would not let me order anything off the "inside" menu despite being the same kitchen. Service was poor, kids food was cold, and all food was just terrible. I had the manager check the temperature of my food and he agreed it was not sufficient. He did not offer an additional item but only asked if I wanted my food reheated. I said no thank you and passed on eating reheated food. The manager knew our experience was awful and asked us to give his restaurant another shot in the future. No discount, no food taken off the bill including my cold entree, nothing. Don't waste your time at this place. There are better options in melbourne.

I've been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better! On a recent evening we enjoyed the views from the large deck overlooking the Indian River lagoon while sipping on cocktails and enjoying appetizers. I recommend the mussels and a side of butternut squash risotto. ( just like my my Aunts from the old country Mamma Mia) I have also had the prime rib on recent visits, always tender and cooked perfectly. Its hard to find a restaurant in Brevard county that has both ambiance and sophisticated flavors. River Rocks is doing a good job with both

Food was great, view is nice. If you do not like the idea of smokers then dine indoors- problem solved :)

3% service charge added to your bill......seriously? I went to River Rock tonight to have a nice meal. I enjoyed the dinner special but it wasn't anything spectacular. The spinach had too much butter and wasn't washed (very grainy taste). The mushroom risotto was bland. The ribeye was cooked correct but the bone in was so small I bit into it. I received the bill and saw 3% service charge on it. Really? Who does just a 3% service charge. I'm sure it's a fee for something other than a grat but if you have to do this then increase your price to cover this charge. The bill also stated to adjust gratuity accordingly due to this service charge but in my opinion it's insulting to have it on the check. And I bet it affects the servers tip. We use to come here all the time but do not frequent is as much anymore. This is due to the lack of "wow" of their menu (it seems like they've had the same menu since they've opened) as well this 3% charge. We can go to many other places in town that have as good, if not better, food for the same price. Overall I'm disappointed

Went with the family today for a special lunch. The service was bad, the food was not cooked correctly and it was just a bad lunch all around. :(

First time on the deck for dinner and was NOT IMPRESSED. Bruschetta appetizer was terrible. All you could taste was garlic. I ordered the filet, my husband ordered the fish special. I could've had a better filet at Perkins. It was totally tasteless. The mahi mahi wasn't much better. Not at all happy with the service charge they tack on to your bill at the end either. Very disappointed!

  • Megan F.

The dock outside is the perfect lunch spot. The view is beautiful, and the breeze from the river is just so relaxing. My caribbean salad was just alright, but the grouper reuben and sweet potato fries were amazing. Inside, the decor is really beautiful. The food is a bit more upscale and solidly good, but there are better fine dining places on the Space Coast. Inside always seems a bit dead compared to the lively atmosphere on the deck. The brunch spread is definitely worth a stop by as well.

Read through the glowing reviews and thought this might be a nice place to meet my wife for lunch. Upon arrival, it was exciting to see the nice layout and beautiful river views. Too bad that didn't spill over into the food quality. Probably the poorest meal I've ever had at a restaurant. On top of that, it cost me a lot of money. The waitress acted like we were an inconvenience more than a customer. Meal was so bad that I've written this restaurant completely off my list for places to go. No, never again will I eat here....and don't believe all these glowing reviews like I did. Overall a very bad experience and one I won't repeat at this restaurant.

After hitting Rockledge Gardens we were driving north on US 1 and mulling lunch. Usually this means hitting one of our usual haunts in Cocoa Village, Ossorio's or Leah's Bistro. But then I said, "you know, River Rocks is just a bit south, and a lot of the reviews on YELP are pretty good." And the wife turned the car around. We had a great time. The view was perfect, the service was fast and attentive. I had the Grouper Ruben, and my wife had the fish tacos. The iced tea was fresh brewed and right on the money. Two things bring it up to five stars for us. One, it has a dock for visiting boats. Granted, it's a small dock on shallow water, but still, we love this. For bigger boats you'll have to anchor off and run your dink in, the shore to the south of the restaurant looks like you could land a dink, but a short distance directly south looks like a local park, so you might find good landing there too. The second thing is the attention given to the outdoor seating. Very cool, lots of tables and a LOOONG dock lined with chairs and a place to put your drink/food. Love the idea. We were there at noon on a Sunday, not crowded and they had a steel drum player. Lots of folks were eating the buffet, which looked really good. Another great waterside restaurant in Brevard County. A bit more 'upscale' than Squidlips, but that's cool. We will eat here again, and looking forward to seeing the nightlife.

We usually eat outside but decided to eat inside today- the food was amazing and service was prompt. Much better than the overrated NoPa in San Francisco. I was so excited they had a good selection of cheese- the manchego in particular was delicious. The figs complemented it well. The Pinot Noir Erath wine was not as good. It tasted like Robitissun. But my sister and brother in law thought it to be delicious. The pasta tasted so fresh and wasn't too salty- the flavor was perfeto. The prime rib was one of the best I've had in a while. Beats the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco. The seasoning and the crust was divine. When I bit into it, my mouth had an orgasm.

We were here the weekend that it rained (like hurricane rain) all weekend so we werent able to enjoy the outside bar. The inside bar however was great. Nice staff, great drink list, great food. My only complaint would be that they put way too much garlic sauce on the lobster ravioli. Otherwise it was delicious.

I love this place. The deck (outside dining area) is the best place to eat. Prices are more reasonable and the bartenders are really good-natured. I usually sit at the bar and order the Island Mango Chicken appetizer, it's a really good app, I highly recommend it. Also see if one of the bartenders will make you this (they did for my birthday): - a strawberry cut out (they make a divet in the strawberry so it will hold the liqueur) - pour Baileys in the strawberry - put whipped cream on top - add a dash of Hershey's chocolate eat in one bite. It's divine.

Easter Brunch: Terrible........ expected so much more from previous reviews. Over crowded, not enough dishware, food was marginal, they didnt have or couldnt keep enough food on the buffet bar. It was wayyyyy overcrowded from over booking. Probably the worst meal I have had in awhile. Service to the table was good...... waiter was on top of things all the time which was nice........ good service. We then had a drink at the bar to rescue the afternoon....... glasses for the wine had spots on them and were filthy. I will be back cause I really like the atmosphere but I hope this place doesnt fall victim to being a touristy place vice a quality place that happens to be on the river.

I took my mom and her boyfriend here for their birthdays. We ate inside (not Dockside). The restaurant was very nice, low lighting and quiet for a nice personal dinner. Everyone's food was excellent, we had the shrimp and grits appetizer which was my favorite thing we ordered. The waitress noticed that they were opening presents and without being prompted, brought us the dessert menu at the end of our meal and said that we could get a dessert on the house since we were obviously celebrating something. She then brought us the dessert we ordered as well as an additional piece all complimentary. Excellent service and food. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion. Just to point out the difference between dining inside/outside. The indoor restaurant has a different menu and a fancier atmosphere. If you are dining outdoors/dockside, there is a more causal and less expensive menu.

We have ate here several times and the food and wait staff are always great. The deck outside has a great view. We will definitely eat here again. It is a little pricey, so it is more of a special occasion place.

Wine - They'll let you taste a little bit before you commit, so we steered away from a Viognier and over to a very nice Riesling. Appetizers - We got a cheese plate (nice) and the kitchen made us calamari even tho that's only on their lunch menu and we were there for dinner. Very good. Entrees - As a table, we had bacon wrapped duck, a steak, and the soft shell crab with scallops. All were superb. Dessert - We were totally stuffed, but the belgian waffle sounded too good to pass up, so we gave it a try, and were delighted with the results. I really enjoyed this restaurant and definitely would go back again. It's at a beautiful location, on a wide river, it's convenient to the I-95, and the decor is cool and understated.

After a day of touring Cape Canaveral Wildlife Refuge to show the kids some alligators, we were ready for an early dinner. My in-laws had been here last year and knew of the $15 Chef's Specials (incl. dinner, salad, dessert), so off we went. We were definately underdressed, but at 4 PM we weren't too concerned. We were seated inside- a tad too cold to be outside- but we were seated along the windows, with great views of the river- which only becames more beautiful as the sun set. This place must be amazing in summer! The interior is decorated very classily, very modernly. Cool silverware, as far as silverware goes! The menu selections were good, but I opted to eat off the main dinner menu, which was much broader and had larger portions. The house salad ($6) was fantastic- it came in a tube of wrapped cucumbers! Great presentation. My meal was tuna ($22), with a delicious ginger sauce, rice, and some greens. All was cooked perfectly. My father in law, a fish connesseur, raved about the yellow tail snapper. Everyone gave great reviews of the food...top notch! My wife, who had the chef special, had a free dessert of key lime pie, thought the presentation was interesting...two little butter-seized balls, one of key lime, and the other of whipped cream.Again, great presentation, OK for the chef's specials, but I'd be annoyed if I'd paid $6 for that for dessert. I'd imagine the normal dessert is more traditionally sized and displayed. All in all, this was our best meal while visiting Cocoa Beach from Ephrata, PA. Great ambiance, fantastic, friendly service (heck, the hostess even stopped to chat about my son's pokemon cards), and tasty, artistic food that even Chef Ramsey MIGHT approve of! Well done, River Rocks.

I really enjoyed River Rocks. The food was pretty good, but felt a tad pricey for what it was (average entree was about $20). However, the ambiance is very nice here. Lots of outdoor seating on the waterfront and live music on the night we went. Staff is very friendly and our waiter was on the ball throughout the night. We came here for a business dinner on coworker's birthday and I had asked the hostess if they could do something special for her. She arranged to have our waiter wish her a happy birthday and the guitarist sing her an acoustic version of "The Happy Birthday song." I understand they also normally give the birthday guest a free dessert. Would gladly return.

Great location overlooking the intercoastal waterway. Good menu and some very nice wines. Gets busy so reservation recommended. Enjoyed a great meal. Service a little slow but it was very busy. One of the better restaurants in the area.... Worth checking out.

Great Sunday brunch. They have an amazing selection of favorites (crab legs, shrimp, omelettes) and $3 Mimosas and bloody Mary's. I've been several times and my only beef is that they never ad or change the menu items. A little variation wouldn't hurt.

Went here for the first time, sat on the dockside and ordered a bunch of appetiers. Their coconut shrimp is awesome!!! The appetizers were fairly reasonable. Though the dinner menu that was online seemed to be about $20 a plate. So definately more pricey than eating outside. Would definately go again!

I've heard so many good things about River Rocks, perhaps I built it up to be something that it's not. I recently went there, and was impressed with the overall look and feel of the indoor dinning area. We got a window table that faced East over the river, a prime table. Service was a bit slow, even though there weren't that many people yet. The martinis we had were horrible. The food was average and very pretentious in presentation. I probably wouldn't have minded the presentation if the taste followed suite. As an appetizer we ordered the Crab Stack. There was very little flavor in the crab meat, tasting as though it came straight from a can. The house salad (Rocks Salad) was wrapped like a pig-in-a-blanket by thinly sliced cucumber. I wasn't sure how to eat it, but will say the last few bites of it were very tasty once all the various flavors mixed together. The entree was their prime rib, and it was prepared well, no complaints. The indoor seating is very upscale feeling, almost elegant, and it has a great atmosphere. The outdoor area is very casual, and what it has to offer can be experienced at a myriad of other establishments. Take this review with a grain of salt, I might have just been there at the wrong time, as my companion was perfect. I might be talked into going at least one other time to try the outdoor menu and atmosphere.

Been here twice and our group has eaten outdoor on the covered patio and in the dining room. As expected, it is much nicer inside with a very nice wine selection, although the dates listed need to be updated. I ordered a 2007 Turnbull Cab, but was delivered a 2009. When I pointed that out I got the "I keep telling them that they need to update that list" hmmm. Nice meal though with a very good cheese plate selection.

The place looks nice, located at the water. The mojito I got was too sweet; the blackend grouper was good. Reasonable prices. Service was not great, I had to wait longer than I wanted to get served.

Great place! The service is excellent, and the food is really good and reasonably priced. Whenever my wife and I are in Florida this is one of the must stop at places. We visited this past Wednesday night. Cannot wait to come back.

WOW! Everything was great. Service was very good. Food was timed to the table very well. Allowed us to have a relaxing dinner with friends without feeling you were waiting. Atmosphere was a little loud but nice. Overall service and ambiance were above average. Now the food! Everything was prepared excellent. We had the Mussels/Tomato salad/Beef for starters. The beef was good (nothing special) however the Mussels and Tomato Salad were exceptional. For a Main coarse we had the seared Tuna and Lamb. Both were exceptional. If you have the opportunity a definite must try.

Portions fair to average,Wait staff is very good and friendly!!! Really sad could be a really nice place!!! Poor Management!!!

We went to the River Rocks for a going away dinner for a good friend. I had heard many great things about the restaurant, so I held out hope that my money would be well spent. First off, I would like to commend the staff on their excellent service. They were friendly, attentive and fairly quick. If that were all that mattered, I'd not have any complaints. Unfortunately, it's not so simple. When you are essentially spending half a car payment on dinner, you kind of expect to get something for your money. I've been to excellent restaurants in the past that were pricier than your everyday Applebees or Chilis. Whereas you receive an appropriate portion at those places, you don't at River Rocks. $7 for a small, split-in-half head of romaine lettuce that was grilled, isn't actually bad. [Note: this was really, really fantastic - try it!] But I felt the $22 for a marinated flank steak with portabello was excessive. I didn't think it was too high a price when I ordered it but I assumed at the time that I was going to get more than what amounted to a Krystal burger patty and an extremely salty, extremely overcooked (nearly incinerated) mushroom buried under a mountain of mashed potatoes. When one thinks "steak", one actually envisions a "steak". What was on my plate was barely enough meat to grind up and make into a slider - or, as I said above, a Krystal burger. The portabello was excessively salty (and I love salty food), rubbery and overcooked. So I was left wondering if perhaps they mixed gold leaf into my potatoes. There was - maybe - $2 worth the ingredients in play. I guess expensive menu pricing is supposed to make up for lack of value and convince you that you are experiencing a "5 Star" meal. I can assure you that isn't the case. After all was said and done, I left, still hungry, and $70 poorer. But our friend and everyone else had a good time, and that actually does make up for some of the down points. Want an excellent steak? And I mean an ACTUAL 16oz New York Strip steak?? Save a few bucks and go down to the Harbor City Diner in West Melbourne. EXCELLENT steak. And they actually put meat on your plate. But they don't have the char grilled romaine...that's a downer.

I'm very surprised to have read through the previous reviews to find that everyone praised the staff because that is my only complaint about this place!! My friends and I (about 12 of us) decided to host a good friends birthday dinner on the dock as it is her favorite restaraunt. From the start, the staff was very rude, our waitress must have been having a bad night because legitimately seemed as if she was in a bad mood because she would snap at people when they asked for something and just overall seemed to be very unfriendly. I was not impressed with service at all and the live music was even worse!! The guy playing guitar was singing a song about humping like monkeys, not what you'd expect for that environment. Overall I wouldn't return as that was my first impression

I had been here before and found it "meh" with the exception of our server, who was great. This time was entirely unpleasant. We had a large party for a birthday gathering. The hostess tried to cram 14 chairs to 3 tables, which would have been very uncomfortable. Luckily a manager (assuming) brought out another table. It hadn't been wiped down. In fact, 2 of the 4 tables badly needed to be cleaned off. When we were seated I brushed crumbs off the table. While my husband enjoyed his drink, his brother and myself did not. Our server seemed to do her best and I have no complaints with her. She told us about the buffet so my sister in law and myself checked it out- $20 for biscuits & gravy, eggs, rice, that kind of thing. The price was presumably that high due to the cold seafood items (there were 2). My first visit here yielded mediocre food results and this time may have been worse. The french fries are amazing, I can credit them that, but my lunch was bland and didn't live up to its name. My husband's lunch was fairly pricey for the content and the fish filet that was supposed to be included was about two inches. With the exception of our server, who handled a party of 14 with no help from anyone else, the staff was generally standoffish. Despite my mother in law repeating to the hostess that 14 chairs to 3 tables was too tight a squeeze, she continued to try to make it work. Isn't it a requirement for managers to be pleasant to you to obtain your repeat business? I can certainly say that repeat business won't happen here. Our party of 14 usually celebrates birthday events at restaurants and we're mostly big spenders. With 12 birthdays in a year (2 are children) that's a lot of money. None of us would desire to come back here for this years birthdays. Tl;dr: great french fries and a soldier of a server were a saving grace to an otherwise disappointing experience.

The weekend of the No-Name storm knocked out power to our office and by lunch time it was getting ridiculously hot. So, my boss and I hopped in the car and drove about and eventually ended up here. The atmosphere was nice, I loved all the big windows overlooking the lagoon, so relaxing. :) Our waiter that day was a very pleasant fellow, and was sure to offer us the daily special, which sounded great, but we both ended up with the mahi mahi fish tacos. Annnnd they were delicious. Whatever the sauce was that came with it had a little touch of spice, thankfully I ordered mine on the side so I could dole out the proper amount to my liking. All in all, nice place and decent prices.....at least for lunch, I didn't check out the dinner prices.

The only thing that gets this place stars are the view and our server. The food was at best unimpressive and at worst terrible. We ate outside, but inside I think the menu was pricier. I think I would have been really upset if we had paid a lot for the big bowl of meh we were served. Pros: server was great, but don't remember his name. The drinks were tasty and strong. Of everything we ate, the crab cake was the best thing. Cons: food. Really not worth it. I recommend if you want to have some drinks on the water with maybe a small bite this place would be the place to go. I wouldn't recommend a meal. Food 1 star, server 4, view 4.

While housed in the former Chowders, this is a completely different type of restaurant. The interior has been completely redone & about the only thing you'll recognize is the view. It's a clean modern look, with a brand new granite bar & a much more intimate dining room. The dinner menu is also far removed from the Chowders days. Beef, chicken & duck each have one entrée & the rest is various seafood items. Prices on the entrees ranged from mid-teens to low $20's, with starters & desserts priced accordingly. We were told that daily specials will appear in couple of weeks, once they get through the shake down period. The wine list has been expanded & improved considerably, with most bottles in the mid $20's to mid $30's range. They'll be a selection of 4-5 local drafts once the beer taps are installed, along with the usual assortment of domestics & imports in bottles. As to the food itself....We weren't really famished, so we didn't try any of the starters (although they sounded really good.) We did have two entrée's. One was fresh mahi, crusted in crab meat with parsnip puree. The other was a huge crap cake (must have been 98% crab meat) served with a corn-endme relish & pomegranate sauce. Both were excellent, as our empty plates attested. We also shared of dessert of grilled pineapple & mango sorbet over a butterscotch sauce. This was as good as the entrees. We took a look at the lunch menu & it is a much more casual than dinner. While the emphasis is still on seafood, there's also a smoked turkey Rueben, 8 oz. natural beef burger and Cobb or Caesar salad on the menu. (I want to go back for the Mahi BLT.) The highest price of any item is $12. For the less adventuresome, I'd suggest trying lunch first. In short, about the only thing River Rocks has in common with the old Chowders is the location. Update (Dec. '09)...Renovations have been completed on the outside deck area. There's a new bar (w. TV's) and a lot of tables, all with a great view of the Indian River. This area now has its own menu, which is much more casual than the inside version. It features things like fried shrimp, clams & fish, burgers, fish tacos, prime rib and daily specials. (Nothing is over $15.) I can recommend the fried shrimp (8 large crispy ones to an order) & the crab dip. If you miss the atmosphere of the old Chowder's, you might want to give the outside deck a try.

Good experience. Very clean & feels very new. Great outdoor space. We had boiled shrimp, crab legs, & parmesan chicken. First two were great. Chicken was ok. Also had coconut shrimp as an appetizer & that was great with their unique sauce. We would definitely eat there again & recommend it. Wish they had crayons & coloring sheets for kids. And, there seemed to be limited grilled seafood offerings, mostly fried stuff available.

What a disappointment! My brother & I decided to try the $15 chef special (you had to be seated between 4-6). I made reservations for 5:30p & we got there on time. We were told to wait a few minutes & sat in front of the hostess station. At about 5:45, they asked us if we were waiting for someone else. We said,no..just to be seated. Other people came in after us and were already seated. We were offered a choice of sitting in the bar (why have a reservation) or a booth which we took. We then were not acknowledged by a server until I flagged one down. I wanted a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and my brother wanted an Amstel light. No Amstel, and the waiter told me no blue cheese stuffed olives. Since I had had that there before, I asked him to please check. We then got another server who did find blue cheese stuffed olives, but no Amstel Light. When my brother did get a beer, he had to ask for a glass. Red Stripe out of a bottle is fine for a picnic, but didn't really fit into our setting. Onto the meal . This would have been a lovely Christmas meal at a nursing home. The prime rib was sliced very thin and small, the scoop of mashed potatoes was petite, and the veges were overcooked and underseasoned. The dessert was so tiny that we laughed when we saw it. The table came with no salt or pepper & we had to request them. The waiter never asked if we needed another drink or anything else. This meal was definately not worth it. We won't be returning. For a much better deal, check out Tonics. They at least acknowledge you and are much friendlier.

I've been here twice, both for New Years Eve dinner, and each was one of the best meals I've ever had. I currently live in Boston, and there is definitely no shortage of fine dining up there. I love the Viera area for what it is - wonderful little riverside seafood bars, but it does seem to have a shortage of 5-star establishments. This is the only one I've been to so far. I love the interior - plenty of dark wood and beautiful metal light fixtures. I forget what I had NYE 2009, so I'll outline what I had on 2010. It's a pre-fixe menu, but I know many of the options are on the regular menu so it's still relevant. To start, the Crab Stack. OMFG, so good. Granted, I'm an avocado-aholic, and if you read my other reviews, you'll find that Blue Crab on the menu almost always bumps the restaurant up a star. But regardless, this was a nice, light way to begin my 4 course meal. Second was the spinach, goat cheese, and strawberry salad. I usually don't like fruit in my salads, but this worked very well. Dinner was the snapper, one of my favorite fishies. It came with a seafood casserole topping and was simply divine. J'adore River Rocks, my favorite spot for special-occasion Viera dining.

I ADORE this place. We go every weekend, because it just doesn't get better. Great food, amazing view - it's right on the water, surrounded by sand, palm trees, and tiki torches - live music every Friday and Saturday. The bar area can be a loud, fun time, but if you'd rather have a quieter, cocktail night the deck is perfect. I really can't sell this place enough. Go. Ask for Chris. Your welcome :)

Awesome meal, service, and ambiance. Saw dolphins swimming in the river. If you sit at the bar on the water you have a great view and can eat there. We ate on the deck and it was nice too but kind of wished we sat at the bar since it was just the two of us. Had the lobster dip app, grilled seafood medley w shrimp, mahi, and scallops, and key lime pie for dessert. All were great.

After being told it was an hour wait at Grills, we thought we'd give RiverRocks a try. We ate outside on the deck. Nice area for drinks or just watching the world go by. Servers were all very nice and attentive, so no complaints there. We had a couple drinks, ordered an appetizer (shrimp and a crabcake). By the time our meals came out, we couldn't see our dinners. (The lighting definately needs to be fixed on the deck) I had the grouper, my dining companions, the crabcakes and a steak. Food was ok, but nothing to rave about. Worse still, both my companions were sick later that night. We think it was the crabcakes, since they both had it. Based on that, I would recommend this place for happy hour since you can't beat the view but I doubt I'd ever eat there again.

So, it's Saturday & Christmas is on Tuesday. Of course I need a drink before hitting the holiday crowds. I order a simple drink, a mimosa. My drink is first of all served to me in a cocktail glass and second it's orange juice with a splash of champagne. We were sitting in the bar area & our server was busy so I took my drink to the guy who poured it. He could see me standing there & chose to ignore me, knowing I was going to complain about my non-alcoholic beverage. Once I got his attention he said he did half champagne & half orange juice. I proceeded to give him proper instruction on a mimosa. 3/4 champagne topped off with OJ. I just told him I'd have a bloody Mary. Once I got back to my table, the waiter proceeded to tell me how they are strict on making drinks. I said it wouldn't have been any different if I had ordered a glass of wine or a glass of champagne. Once I got my bloody Mary, he asked me about 5 times (no exaggeration) how my drink was... Like I was some stuck up snob. No buddy, I'm not a snob, I just ordered an alcoholic beverage before Christmas shopping. Simple. And guess what, I'm right. You're wrong. Beat it. Service was terrible. BUT the food was pretty good :)

A winner over Grill's Riverside!! The deck seating is much smaller, but it's more intimate and relaxed; not a crazy college party like Grill's. The food is also a million times better!! Everything always tastes fresh & delicious! Never overly crowded, so you won't have a long wait. Beautiful river view. We choose River Rocks over Grill's every time!

River Rock is the quality of fine dining in a big city with reasonable prices. As someone originally from Brevard County (now living in San Francisco) I have always craved a fine dining experience in the area. I can say that this is on par with what a big city has to offer. The presentation of the food is creative and fun, but more importantly it is delicious! I have had the prime rib and the tuna and coconut risotto and neither disappointed. The service also added to the exquisite dining experience. I highly recommend River Rock!

Freshly prepared food and very creative dishes. Interesting dressings and sauce combos with the entrees - really made the food reach its full potential. Even something as lowly as a Cobb Salad excelled beyond expectations. Pricey but a good value for the money. Great view of river. Waiter knew his dishes and provided great service. Place was obviously totally renovated - just missing the artwork. No MSG in anything. We'll be back

As much as I wanted to like it (the view and and weather were amazing) I am just amazed at how mediocre my lunch there was. My burger was bland, underseasoned, and overcooked. The fries were of the tastes-like-frozen variety. My appetizer of fried ravioli was as bland as a plank of wood. I'm told that the outside deck, which is where we were, has a different kitchen and menu from the inside portion, so maybe there's hope for the inside diners, but why give the al fresco diners the boring food? Service was friendly and timely but the food really under-achieves, especially considering their beautiful waterfront setting.

Best Soup & Salad Combo in the Space Coast: I have dined at River Rocks twice in the fall of 2011. The first of these two visits was for dinner. I had a fish entrée that was perfectly fine but nothing to turn cartwheels over. The second time I came for lunch and ordered the Soup & Salad for $9.00 and just had to say, "WOW." I combo I choose was a cup of Lobster Chowder with a small "River Rocks" salad and both were outstanding. This is without question and by substantial margin the best soup and salad meal in the Space Coast. Both the soup and the salad were so great it would by hard to say which was better. A warm soup hit the spot dining outside on a cool breezy day on River Rocks deck with a majestic view of the bay (Indian River as it is called in these parts). Lobster Chowder was a little bit of a curve ball as most restaurants serving a lobster soup serve a lobster bisque. For those that do not know the difference between and bisque and a chowder, a bisque is smooth meaning the whole thing is pureed, usually in a blender and the texture is uniform. A chowder has pieces of things in, lumps, bumps and treats of lobster chunks. At some other restaurants chefs go a little crazy with putting Sherry into their bisques and the sherry wine can overpower the rather delicate flavor of lobster. In River Rocks you can taste and see the lobster in a great cream based but not to heavy soup. I can't wait to go back for another bowl. The River Rocks salad was another pleasant surprise. My default for lunch in a place like this is to order a fish sandwich but the day before I had an awesome fish sandwich at Long Doggers, so as a fluke, I went with the soup and salad at River Rocks as a change up. The River Rocks salad was a home run. The salad was comprised of field greens, feta, candied pecans, a little shaved fennel, and watermelon chunks. The watermelon in the salad is great creative touch. Visually the diner sees it and thinks oh that must be a piece of tomato, then they bite in and go, oh yeah, I forgot, watermelon, cool, so much better than tomato. The salad came with a homemade orange balsamic vinaigrette that paired perfectly with eclectic assortments of ingredients assembled into the salad. It all just worked great together. A soup and salad at Penera bread ( count me in as a fan of the Panera Pick 2 ), runs a little over $7.00. For less than two bucks more, to get Lobster chowder, and a salad with watermelon, feta, and candied pecans is great. Add River Rocks' dock on the river to the mix and you can see why this is the best Soup & Salad in the Space Coast... ( I think it can even be ordered as a dinner). Soup & Salad, and View 5 stars, rest of menu 4 stars, overall 4.5 stars.

Four of us went to enjoy the sunset. We sat inside, much to my chagrin, because my friends, at the last minute, all preferred the inside dining menu. We were seated at a window table, so I was happy, but the children with the outside patrons were all running around, throwing buckets of water on each other, running up and down a little ravine right outside the window the entire time. Not exactly peaceful for me. Perhaps I'm just a grouch. On to the food...duck was reported to not meet the expectations of my boyfriend, although I found it tasty. I do not care for duck, though. My friend got the prime rib, and had to ask for a steak knife, it was so 'stringy', in her words. Well, it's hard to tell, if you ask me, how tender a cut of beef may be if one orders it well done. My other friend got the 10oz NY strip, and said it was pretty good, and I had an appetizer salad and a mango crab stack appetizer as my main course, trying to keep it light. Everyone enjoyed their salads, just house salads, but with some candied pecans and crumbled feta in a sweet dressing. The best thing of the evening, in my opinion was the complimentary bread loaves they brought to the table with garlic-infused olive oil for dipping. It was coarse grained and airy, but with a crunchy crust. I think I sabotaged my light dinner choices with all the bread. All in all, not worth a revisit, but a nice place. We like to go to new places each time, so a place has to be pretty great in our eyes to warrant a revisit on vacation.

A little pricey - but worth it for atmosphere and service. Staff knew wines and how to serve correctly. Atmosphere - whether outdoors or inside - beautiful in both locations. outdoor dining a perfect way to have happy hour and watch the sunset Brunch - went back after learning about it during a happy hour trip: a little pricey, but for big eaters in my family, they were all very pleased, as was i. i have returned many times for brunch and regular dining! thank you for having a classy/decent place in little rockledge!

A great place, food was very good, although it was a long wait between apps and dinner, the waiter apologized they were busy. However the dining room had poor acoustics resulting in a very noisy room. We were a party of 3 and it was hard to hear our own conversation.

What is really sad about this review is that the last time I went to River Rocks in December I would have given it a 5 without batting an eye. Tonight was completely the opposite. Our reservation was at 7 and we arrived a few minutes early, our table was not ready...we had a drink...it was about 7:20 or so when our table was finally ready. Service was a bit slow, but it was the night before mother's day so I blew that off. What was astonishing was that we ordered fairly quickly...maybe 15-20 min after being seated and our entree arrived at 8:40PM. My grouper came on a large plate and it was a tiny little piece of fish (shockingly small for $25) but I thought it was likely amazing so I took a bite. It was awful so I ate one of the small potatoes that it was on and handed my plate to my husband to taste it, he said it definitely didn't taste fresh, so I tried another bite to make sure I wasn't just being picky. After that bite, I pushed the plate aside and when the waiter came to ask how everything was I shook my head and gave the "yucky" face. He said he was sorry and would I like something else, I said no. He said would you like a dessert, I said no. The next thing I know, some big burly guy comes out and says would you like a box for that and said no and looked at him like "are you kidding me?". Keep in mind, I tasted my husband's mahi and it was average at best. So I get the bill and it's for the full amount and that was not okay with me, so I got up to go to the front and say something and out comes burly guy and the waiter and I say, "i'm not paying for that grouper" and burly guy says, "but you ate two thirds of it"...well, needless to say I said we had three bites between the two of us and he said, "well, I'll take off half"...are you kidding me???? Thank goodness someone came out (I assume a manager) and asked me and my husband about the dinner and then offered to credit us the grouper. Thanks for crediting us the grouper, but burly guy just ensured that I will never eat at your restaurant again. Seriously, you hand me a tiny piece of fish and when I eat 3 bites it's 2/3 of it???? Someone clearly needs to be fired. Don't eat here.

River Rocks is close to work so a few of us have been going there for lunch and dinner since its opening. The atmosphere is unmatched. Dolphins can be sptted through out the whole meal. The food is always good and usually pretty fast. The most popular in our group at lunch are the Cobb Salad and M.B.L.T (Mahi) served on rye with a spectacular jalpeno tarter, I even order for my burger. At dinner time it's a completely different feel. Very elegant. My wife and I like to go and get a both and a nice bottle of wine (phenominal wine list) enjoy some of the best tuna I've ever eatin. The dinner entrees we've tried have all been excellent. I personally love to order the Whole fried snapper While my wife always get the duck.

The food was ok....nothing to rave about. The service was horrid, horrid.... 2.5 hours for LUNCH!!! And way too pricey for the okay food and lousey service. When the place was Chowder's, it was a fun and happy place.....trying to put on the Ritz-Glitz just doesn't seem to fit.

My wife and three friends were fortunate to have dined at River Rocks on Valentines Day, as for Juli's disappointment I am very surprised to hear this. My wife had the veal entree and I had the pompano along with my friend Jack, I thought the flavors were light but excellent, not buried or masked by a lot of cream or fatty butter sauces. As for the boar I had a taste of that as well, It was not veal but the flavors were well pared with the hoisen. As for portions I would say my wives veal was about 10 ounces and mine was close. As for the rest of the meal four course with what was offered was a deal compared to every other place of similar class, maybe you should try outback or applebees next time because all of my guests had a fabulous time and enjoyed every bit.

Used to be a casual restaurant called Chowders. Great location on the river which is often enough of a reason for a restaurant to be successful, but this place gets its food right as well. What I would consider higher end-for us a place to go on a birthday or anniversary. Entrees in the range of 16$ up to 25$ or so. Full bar, great wine list. We went with two friends and all of our meals were terrific. Duck, grouper, lobster and for me eggplant and tofu. The dim sum appetizers were a little bland, but I could have asked for more dipping sauce to change that. There really is something for everyone, plus the chicken on the menu is free-range. It is so nice to see a place working towards what really is a national trend of eating more ethically. I had the mascarpone cheesecake for desert-excellent. Service was very friendly and helpful. The servings are not huge but I think for a nicer restaurant with quality food that makes sense. Gorgeous river views. You could go for a drink to check the place out, and they said the menu is online as they did not have any available for me to take home.
