Big portions and the food always comes out nice and hot. Great service. And huge selection of items to choose from. I am a regular here and will continue to come back if the food continues to be good as well as the service.

The best Fried green tomatoes ever and Fried pickles too. Definitely not health food but for those splurge days . menu is creative. Disappointed though with the chicken wings. Small and dry.

Came here to specifically watch a football game because they advertise "Sports Bar" -BUT, all the TVs (even in the bar) HAVE THE SOUND OFF!!!' Smells like all fried food. Tuna sandwich ok when not grilled

I have been a customer for years but the past few times I've been in the food quality has been below par. I don't know if they have a new chef or a new supplier.

Ate breakfast here 5/21/11 and on two other ocassions, Yesterday we were part of a large group, and we all chose different breakfasts from their huge menu. Service was not only prompt but curtious. Waitress frequently came by to refill coffee cups. My breakfast was of usual generous portion and hot; no complaints from others in our party. Good coffee, too. Each time I have come here for breakfast I have been pleased by the food and service. Nothinng about the decor or layout of the restaurant area is worthy of negative comment, in my view. And the bill is always less that I what I expected. When I look at the earlier reviews I wonder if new management has made this place better or if competing eateries posted negative reviews?

Great breakfast spot! Prices are reasonable and the serveings are always huge. Definitely popular with the locals. Can't comment as to the bar section.

In a word: pancakes. These delicious plate sized beauties make my day. Bring an appetite for big plates. The prices are fair. If i were to picture a stereotypical local breakfast place this woud be it. The pros: value, deliciousness, local. The cons: you're going to get fat.

My Grandparents brought us here for lunch because apparently all the ladies at quilting agree that Malibu's has the best food and the best prices! ;) They were right. The menu is huge with quite a few original and enticing options. They also have a lengthy Lunch Specials menu that comes with homemade soup . Oh, did I say all the soups are homemade?? The other 4 in our party had the fried fish sandwich off the lunch menu (which was ginormous!), homemade black-eyed peas soup (never heard of this, but it was so good), chili mac, fried chicken salad, and the Italian wedding soup (amazing! it was creamier than I've had before). I wanted to try about thirty different things on the menu, so my husband and I ended up splitting our meals in half and swapping. We shared the Fried Green Tomato BLT with fries and the Key West Mahi-Mahi (mahi-mahi with coleslaw, thousand island dressing, and swiss cheese and a side of mac and cheese. They were both delicious! They have some crazy menu items like a Fried Twinkie Cheeseburger (cheeseburger between two fried Twinkies) and Mac & Cheese dog. Everyone will be able to find something to enjoy here!

We ordered the fish and chips and the shrimp basket and was really satisfied with the service. The portions were large and tasted great! The prices were really good too. We will be coming back here for sure!

Got the grilled chicken salad and it was terrible. The chicken was so fatty and strung together you couldn't eat it. Perhaps I chose the wrong food for this place. Looked more like a southern comfort food place by all the huge portions most patrons seem to be enjoying. Diets suck!!!!

The place looks like it was once a Denny's or something. We stopped in for no particular reason, other than we were there and so was it. We expected a pretty standard coffee shop, just to grab a snack. What we found, was absolutely *real* food. I had a "Fried Green Tomato BLT", and it was truly fantastic! The others I was with had their catfish, and said it was excellent. Totally unexpected. The place looks as bland as can be, but once inside, the service and food were excellent, and it really had a local feel to it. Nice place for a families.

Large menu, maybe TOO large, some things people got were great, some were horrible, a few just okay. Service was good for this visit and three of four meals were good. Soups were tasty but too salty for some. I had a gyro plate the sandwich was good but for such an ambitious menu was disappointed at frozen fries. One of the group got wings and liked them, another a burger that they described as tasteless. Fried green tomato app. Is tasty, more good than bad for our visit.

Tried someplace new for our regular Saturday morning breakfast get together: Malibu Sports Grill and Bar on Barton Blvd in Rockledge (right next door to the police station). Upon entry, you immediately realize that this place's 'regular' business is in fact as a sports bar. The next thing you notice is how narrow the walk-way is between tables. We settled in and were immediately greeted by our server who took our drink order and returned fairly quickly. I ordered the 'Rockledge Favorite' which consists of two biscuits with sausage patties, gravy and two eggs (over-medium). I also ordered a side of bacon. Our friend ordered ham with eggs and hash browns. The wait for the orders wasn't too long, but that may not have been a great thing. And here's why: Our orders were barely warm to cool. Nothing was hot, but we were short on time, so sending them back - with little promise of improvement - wasn't an option. The gravy was cold, the eggs cool, the biscuit cool and the sausage lukewarm. With that said, I do think the gravy had more flavor than what I've encountered elsewhere. Not the best by far, but certainly not the worst (save for the temp). The bacon was very crisp but lacked any hint of flavor. Our friend was less than impressed and stated that the hash browns were completely lacking in flavor. And the coffee was like water. Now to the part that disturbs me the most - something that has irked me ever since my own days working in food service. Had I known it, I'd have turned around and gone elsewhere.... the guy busing the tables wiped off the seats and THEN wiped off the tables. That is one of the most disgusting things I can think of sitting there watching someone do. The second thing was that he didn't even bother making sure he completely cleaned the table. After he left, there was still debris all over it. Now many will think I'm over-reacting, but seriously folks - would you like the germs from stranger's ass be wiped off a seat and then wiped onto the surface of the table your food is sitting on? And I seriously doubt that towel had any bleach in it - I have an allergy to bleach and can smell even small amounts from several feet away. Food is cold, mediocre crap - with 'okay' gravy on top and crisp bacon on the side. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. And finally, the prices are a bit high considering they are far from the only option in town. Last word: halfway to our next destination, both my mother and myself became ill. She had it a little worse than I did. We both ordered the same thing, so there's that commonality. So eat here at your own risk.

This is a good place to go if you like to watch sports, drink beer, and eat. They have improved the menu in recent years and I was happy with my chicken wrap and fries for lunch. I have also always been a fan of the wings.

Best BLT you will ever have! It comes with a lot, and I repeat, a lot of bacon. My grandmother told me about it and I get it for breakfast everytime I go now

Very small spaces in between tables - service is not friendly, more annoyed they are working and serving others - decent drink specials during games....probably best to sit on bar side and watch a game rather than take a family to eat
