My family and I come here often for dinners or late lunches. My little brothers love the biscuits they serve, I always get chicken with pasta while my family always gets one of their many burgers. The service is good, managers pop around checking on things. Nice place.

Now, I've never been to Ruby Tuesday's before, and so I was hoping for a decent experience, and decent was what I got. The power had went out from a storm and so the electronic stuff was down, which was no fault of their own, and so they had to take our orders down with paper. I thought it was personally charming! Anyways, we (meaning my father, brother, and grandmother) ordered our entreés (no appetizers this time). While we waited, our server, Shannon, gave us some small cheddar biscuits to munch on. They were rather sweet, but warm and soft. When our food came out, my brother and grandmother got theirs first. My brother ordered the Bacon Pretzel Cheeseburger, which he says it could've been a lot better, but it was simply an okay burger. My grandmother ordered the Coastal Trio with the Tilapia having a creole seasoning on it. She didn't eat the tilapia (she won't have fish unless it's fried), but enjoyed the mashed potatoes, broccoli, lobster, and shrimp. My father's order came next; unfortunately, he found his ribs (the classic and Texas-dusted) to be atrocious. It was dry and over cooked, and his onion rings were tasteless and over cooked as well. The broccoli was delicious and perfect, however. He was very disappointed; he had ribs at this location before and loved it. My order came last; I had the New Orleans Seafood platter. My shrimp was over cooked, the portion of mashed potatoes was small, and the Parmesan cream was hardly existent. The broccoli was great, however. The tilapia was well cooked, however, and the creole seasoning was alright. It was more salty than anything. As we all got our orders, we realized we didn't have any utensils, and we had to ask twice to get them, which Shannon apologized for. She was very perky and nice, and was probably the highlight of the night. I hoped for a decent night, and that's what I received. Will I come back? I'm not sure.

So, the service here is always good. The food is always fresh. The only thing that is bothersome is that the weekends are always busy but they never have enough staff available so the wait is always long. Because of the friendly staff and the great service I continue to come despite the long wait. It's worth it. :-) The other thing that I really like is the fact that the salad bar is always fresh and full and when they are filling the salad bar they always wear gloves! Shout out to David for the excellent service!

Amazingly crowded at 4:00 on Mother's Day. We had two crabby, young children with us, so dinner would be a challenge. Dave, our server, handled it well. So great they brought the kids food out before the adults food. I had the half rack of ribs which were fall off the bone tender. The baked potato was cooked perfectly. Wasn't crazy about the grilled zucchini as it was too greasy. Overall, very happy with our choice.

Been eating at Ruby Tuesday's for years. Mostly when I lived in Rhode Island, but we have one close to home so gave it a try. Their salad bar is the highlight! So many choices, how does one decide on what to put on your salad? Biscuits (a la Red Lobster type but more heavily seasoned) were warm and yummy. I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta. It was awful. Although the shrimp was fresh, the chicken juicy and the sausage quite good, I absolutely hated the sauce. I have no idea what it was. It was a brown cheesy something, Yucka! Not at all what I know Jambalaya to be. Seeing I had pushed my plate aside our server came over and asked if I wanted to try anything else. No thank you, no longer feel like eating. I was soon visited by the Manager who tried to tell me there are different kinds of Jambalaya sauces. Whatever, yours sucks. I much say however, that he was more gracious and the order was removed from our bill. There ya go, now I'm happy again. I am not going to slam everything about this place. I know they have a super salad bar and awesome burgers, I would just say stick to what they are known for and you will be happy !

I've been here a couple of times before and each time has always been a comfortable experience. The waitstaff does a good job. The food is always good. My favorite thing about this place is that you can choose one of your sides to be the salad buffet. The Decour/furniture/environment is very comfortable. Makes you feel like you're at home. Love the drinks here as well including the strawberry lemonade. The food here is not bad.

This place is nasty. From the moment you walk in, there is a smell of nasty that hits you like a wave. I don't know if they need to clean the carpets or there is bad ventilation or the place is filthy. Either way, there is a persistent smell of dirty unkempt mess about the place. Then I noticed the flies all around the salad bar. Then I had to go through 3 plates before I could find a clean one. Even the tables had a stickyness to it. This place is in serious need of a health inspection. I was here at 11:15 on a Tuesday, so the salad bar had just opened and had all fresh stuff. This made the flies even more disturbing. Aside from the cleanliness, the Salad Bar is not what it used to be at all. The selection has really been scaled down. I used to love the Ruby Tuesday salad deal, but not so impressed anymore (at least not this location). The service was very friendly, but the cleanliness of the place will probably keep me away. Caitli was very nice.

Just a quick update on our last RT experience. The food was quite good, wife's steak and coconut shrimp was very good. My triple prime burger was ok nothing special. The star is still their salad bar. The best thing about this visit was our server. I forgot her name but she was awesome, very professional and waited on us expertly. RT still has those 50% off the second dinner coupon deals so it's a pretty good value. This RT seems to be always slammed when we go, must be the coupons.

We all know Ruby Tuesday's but the Riverview is a good one. We went on a Friday night and it was really busy but the wait didnt seem too long. The food was great and the staff asked multiple times how everything was. I had the Asiago Parmesan Steak and it was delicious and my wife really like her chicken bella. The waitress was only ok even fogetting our bread but she did keep our drinks full and was freindly. I will be back to this location to try more items from the menu.

The food is good. Like, solid good. Anything I get, I enjoy. Buuuuuuut... The salad bar always seems to be really messy and lacking in ingredients. I understand that its not their fault this happens but the design of the bar needs to be revisited. Seriously. They could get a consult from the Green Tomatoes place or something. Also yes, it does seem to have a smell when you first walk in. Could be old carpet. And well, then there are the bugs. Gnats or perhaps fruit flies - in which case they better check their liquor bottles for infestation - are present. I literally killed one by smashing it on the table and the waiter didn't even bat an eyelash. He listened to me say in killed it, watched me wipe it's smashed body on my napkin and asked ifwe were ready to order. Other than that he was a good, pleasant waiter (Dustin - I think). During dinner there was a fly who persistently flew around us, stopping briefly every now and again on the lamp mounted onto the large wooden divider. Speaking of which, those large high wood dividers that separate the sections in the restaurant are filthy dusty. "Haven't dusted in 8 months and theres oil residue mixed in" dirty (see pic). We always get good service and the food is reliably good but this location needs a good, deep cleaning.

Horrible Experience!!!! Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Burger and it was literally 2 chicken nuggets with no taste, cold, and the bun was hard. Manager took it back and I ordered a hamburger done medium and it took more than a half hour to get it. I ended up eating it in the car and it was burnt. Thankfully the manager comped my meal, being that even the burger sucked. I will never be back again.

Good food, good prices. The really last major chain to offer a nice sized salad bar. Always a good place to go for Any occasion but teens to get really crowded during dinner hours. Although the annoying couple behind us affected our service by occupying their time. Meh experience.

Stay Away...I have never had an item on this menu that I could eat...and the crab cakes were no exception...what was I thinking? What I can't understand is with so many senior citizens as customers why is the food so freakin' salty? Aren't people supposed to be watching sodium intake? Cramped seating, though pleasant staff.

Meh. It's a Ruby Tuesday's. That smells kinda funny. The only times I've been to this is when my husband and I are meeting up with my in-laws (they usually have coupons of some sort). Depending on the time of day the salad bar can be great! Or extremely lackluster verging on the edge of gross (stuff spilled everywhere, dressings mixed, flies hanging about). The food hasn't ever been bad, but rather mediocre at best. Though service has always been pleasant which counts for a lot in my book!

Always come here for the salad buffet. They have a great spread of greens, beans, cheese, and croutons. All crisp and fresh. With the all you can eat salad bar, I ordered the Top Sirloin steak with a side of grilled string beans! Steak was juicy and tasted great - a little too peppery for my taste but it was good. My guest had ordered the Baja Chicken Tacos with the salad bar. Looked and smelled great. Service was excellent our waitress had such a sweet voice and was very accommodating!

Every time I have eaten here the food is always fresh. The garden salad bar is excellent and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. I always bring my dog and sit on the patio. I ordered the Southern Chicken strips and they were so fresh not frozen. You could tell the breaking was light but so crispy. Great experience!

All the other good restaurants were closed on Easter, so we had no choice. When you step inside, the odor of the damp leather seats and old rags bombards your nose. Staff probably got used to the smell so they don't do anything about it. The seats are so unsanitary, there was even barbecue sauce left on it that it stained my pants. It's unsanitary and food is not any different than Denny's.

Promptly seated, but restaurant smells musty. The service was average, but drink service and the drinks themselves were poor. The white sangria had mango chunks in the bottom, uh...gross. Food was not even good for a chain place. Do Not Eat Here!!!!

We have eaten here before. With today's vist there feels to be a new vibe. Hopefully it stays this way, our neighborhood needs a variety of restaurants. Our waitress Amy S was assume! She was attentive, she got fresh croutons for my wife salad as we requested. We left a 25% tip because of our dining experience.

Decent casual dining restaurant. I only go later at night after 9:00 for happy hour ($5 absolutes and $5 appetizers). Other food is average for the price. Sometimes it feels like the staff runs the restaurant and the managers are just along for the ride (lots or arguing and bickering in the corner). Never tried the salad bar but it seems popular and always stocked. The concept is old and dated trying to re-invent itself...not sure how that's going though. Overall, just average casual dining chain. The highlights are late night happy hour drinks and apps but then again...there's not much in Gibsonton :)

Service was horrible, most food wasn't very good, spaghetti squash marinara was inedible. It took over an hour and the place was less than half full. As crappy as these awful chains can get.

I love my ribs at ruby Tuesday. We eat here almost every Sunday. But the last few time we have gone. The service just sucks!!!! The hosts were so rude and my ribs were dry and no b b q sauce. When asked the server about it, he just gave me a side of b b q sauce. I send the ribs back. So disappointed !!! Won't be back for awhile ;,(

Been here a few times for a business lunch meeting and our experiences overall have been decent. I am not a huge fan of these types of chain style restaurants usually. I would much rather go off the beaten path and find the hidden gems. This location is clean and comfy and the servers have been very helpful and attentive. The salad bar is usually clean and kept up well it appears. Not a lot of choices in this part of town near my one of my offices but I am glad we do have the option even if its the run of the mill kind.

This place isn't bad, but you'll probably only get a good server 2 out of 5 times. The food is decent but sometimes it's cold. However, their are limited eating options in this area. So, it might be ur best choice.

This place has always always always messed up our order. I'd say we've gone there on at least four occasions. First time to go order..the ceaser salad I ordered wasn't there and she told me I had to go inside (while it was raining) to make my own salad at the salad bar...for a to go order??? Also my steak was burnt..I mean black! On one side and medium on the other. I had to wait 20 minutes for a new one but the manager gave me a coupon and cupcake for the inconvenience. Second to go order we had family visiting a few weeks after I had my son so we placed a large order. The wait was twice as long as promised (20 min turned into 45) two orders were missing and when my husband went back to get the rest of the orders he waited a long time again. Third time was dining in. A hair was on the plate. It looked like a small eyelash or eyebrow hair but the manager took care of the bill for that order and gave us free desert. Fourth order was another to go which not only took a long time but they gave me a soggy salad, didn't include the shrimp and they were rude when we called about it. The manager literally asked me what I thought he should do about it. We will never order from them to go again. I can't believe they are still in business if they mess up so much and have to give away so much free food.

Used to be good. Not sure what happened, but take out has been awful the last few times we've gone. Food is cold, service is awful & servers were rude. Tonight was the last time! Won't return!!

Ruby Tuesday has become a new family favorite recently. The salad bar is appealing to my parents who are becoming more health conscious these days. Last time we were there my appetite was only moderately high, so I ordered some avocado quesadillas. The waitress accidentally put in the wrong order and I ended up getting chicken quesadillas. When I notified her, they let me keep the chicken quesadillas for free and brought out the avocado quesadillas out when they were finished, the avocado ones being very delicious, while the chicken ones being average. My mom complained that they usually mess up her order there, but the waitress seemed so nice, I didn't think it could be her fault, something must be going with the cooks there. Managers were being productive and asking customers how their food was. My step-dad loves their turkey burgers, but i just think they are alright. I really love their tortilla chips and dip, especially the spinach dip.
